  1. I have not actually loaded an Arthur into BR. I should bring over one of the Ground-to-Taco-Justice-Nukes in the olde logbook the next time I touch BR and just let him go on a berserk solo of the BR lategame holding Elise's corpse. Should be a nice stomp as the prereq stats for Tacokilling are basicly double what any hoshido-only unit can get.
  2. Ignoring 2/3's of the games options seems like a bad plan. Lilys poise. It's basicly a stronger verson of inspiration the xl15 skill, you get it at xl1, and it stacks. It's a full on +7 rally boost a stronger version of the x/5 skill, at xl1, that does not consume an action, for free, and it stacks. You can pretty freely invest in Elise's bulk, because once she's a frontline unit she just walks/flaps over and goes "Hey, tis I bitches, No killing, No, bad, this ho I'm leanin on is immortal now kay?" and then it is so. Roses thorns is the player phase equivilant that winds up being slightly weaker as stack skills slant almost exclusively to damage and like 90% of this game is EP. Still a sickbroken skill. Wugga wugga. Yes. Ninjas are exp pinyata's with skin, of paper, bones of glass, and muscle of wet ciggerette. Shoot through a wall. Get fuckin Swole yo. The basic "Oh god help I used Effie" strat for 17 is just, 32 AS bow aimed at the center and Peirce The Heavens With My Drill Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! Normally the unit winds up around 20/5 having consumed a few thousand gallons of ninja blood.
  3. 5 heart seals +Fren seals +partner seals is a fuckton of seals. Using all of them up over 13 chapters is a tall order. Stave rank and skill boost stave acc more than mag. Stop being bad atthe game and you'll see 90% freeze as well. Seriously though I've tried to use every stave charge in the game for some meaningful gain. You can't. There's that many charges of freeze/enfeeble/entrap. No worries. Sorry but... "I am levant, I complain about units dieing, I am unimpressed by a unit that cannot die. Ever". Pffft. Past that short list is short and off the top of me head. Absolute worst case you have Leo/Odin/Ophelia/Any other HS or Mein user ever to spread that sweet love around. So worst case 4 completely free units 3 of which are V!Sorc and one is Benny. Cry me a river over heartseekers limited pool of weak units. Bow users can and will hit 20/5 in ch17. Shoot. through. the. wall. Bam. Who the fuck mentioned evasion? Let any unit in your army hold a fat bitch like Corrin on a mountain with Elise/aurabot!Cammy riding an actual dragon on a peak behind em punching the rally button with a fat load of drugs and a filling meal shoved down their neck. Bam +20 def they're immortal now. There is a broad well defined line between "reckless agression" and "the ability to count to 10". Guard guage needs only the later to be an abusable mechanic. Hp tonics are good. You should use them sometime. ------------------------- On topic I wonder if Cammys charecter design discussion looked anything like the Pubkeeper design discussions in Eo2+ where the only design consideration is just an arrow at the chest labled "huge".
  4. Balistician does not give any anythings about stats, you're just using it as a super busted mobile artillery to trivialize everything by reducing the enemy army to 1 hp with debuffed stats. They're super underleveled all the time but it really does not matter. Forged bow (Steel or silver) and Setsuna's Yumi. Balistician skills with Move+1 is technicly ideal. Again it really does not matter.
  5. Ingnoring the bit where you get more seals and staves than you will ever need in CQ, and can trade weapons freely.... You get as many chances as you like to hit kotaro at 90%ish hitrate off the freeze stave's more potent users (You also get rally luck and skill by this point, for free). No inherent risk here. As for 19 the terrain manipulation in question is flying over a mountain peak. You can just hover forever taking potshots if you like. Heartseeker is pretty Gr8. When the roster of units with access to the skill before S supports reads Corrin/Odin/Niles/Camilia/every single child unit namely fucking Ophelia/etc... it's hard to call the list spotty. If that's still not enough for you (Generals only final destination) feirce mein stacks with HS and is... strapped to Benny. If fsr you just hate all these things shoot him with a 20/5 mozu or if you hate Mozu use a fucksforsaken 20/5 Sniper!Effie off her free A+ with Mozu. Done, problem solved. Fully buffed MN!Kaze with a bulk pairup on a mountain is about as buff as fully buffed Draco!Xander with a speed pairup. There are nominaly better options for wiping the map than either of those nerds but they certainly work and work reliably. Edit: Guard guage is 100% manipulable and 100% reliable. It's an insanly powerful mechanic that the player has complete control over. ---------------------------------------------------- Rinkah is actually extremely good early game in BR, her bulk is huge and while her offenses are "low" naturally without any really viable stack options heated blood is a free +4 that lets her hit way harder than she has any right to. She eventually falls off but getting to 10/1 for promoted pairup boosts is free and boosts the shit out of any unit you strap her to.
  6. Ignoring CQ Tacomeat. Ryoma:Shared route: Killsteals like a mother and actively tries to kill his family in the shared route then fights some nerd instead of helping his family after they get bombed and surrounded. Then he just peaces out. Has more assasins on personal retainer than the entirety of Nhor. BR: When the war proper begins he spends most of it macin on Scarlette in lobster cosplay, commits genocide, and then he just kills fools until it's time to give the last surviving Nhorian a bowl of rice. CQ: One up's Garons evil in BR by attacking the primary medicinal distributor of Nhor, then he just chills out till ch25 where he sits and watches you kill his entire army and most trusted servants so he can handle a personal grudge. Taco: Shared route: Peaces out despite standing right next to you when the bomb goes off and then wants your head on a pole. He also admits to knowledge of Oboro's actual past but basicly lies to her for years to keep her killin lady boner aimed at nhor rather than the hoshidian nobility. BR: Walks up and tries to gank you until the power of songboners calms him down. Then he just betrays you again in ch16. Kinda a dick. Also commits genocide. CQ: I said ignore this but remember when he walked into peace talks just to put 2 in Elise's chest? Hinoka: Shared: Peaces out when mom explodes despite being right there. Lets Sakura die instead of just picking her up on the peg and flying over to the person she's spent her entire adult life hunting down. BR: Tries to get the Nhorcast to kill more Nhorians faster with the power of boners. Down with genocide. CQ: She exists here? Sakura: Chill as fuck little sister. Inferior to Elise in every way though. Genocide. All in Rev: Fucking die!!! Ok we bros now. By contrast the Nhoraly constantly risk death, banishment, or worse in the name of humanitarian and family values. True they do so pragmaticly (sans Elise who is no-fear-renegade-without-a-cause) but lets all remember that these (fictional) people maintain these values despite a horrifying and straight up abusive life. Hell even BR Xander gives you every chance imaginable, acting only when you try to straight murder his father, and even then, at the very end, he only swung because it came down to Corrin vs everything else he loved. ------------------------------------ There is a pretty good reason Garon is cartoon villan evil. Namely it's the only way portaying hoshido as good is even remotely plausible. For giggles let's extract Garon entirely. The whole plot is kickstarted by Corrin refusing to kill a pair of assasin PoW's (merciful by the standards of the time) then runnin dick first into a hoshidian border fort (why does this exist outside of external agression? There's a magic wall around the country) when his/her orders were to observe it, and then spoileragi asspulls a bombsword. In response Hoshido under Ryoma makes the rational choice of declaring total war on Nhor. Nhor then defends it's borders. Your choice dictates a surgical strike to remove the leadership of one side. Nhor is pretty chill as invading armies go (ignoring the open rebelion in Cheve, that's uuuh what happens yo.) Hoshido burns the country to the ground,salts the earth, and mercs a few neighboring nations and city states in the process. So yeah, Garon pretty much exists to make betraying the folks who raised you from infancy for a band of hatemurdering dicks you just met and have every reason to hate (Sans Sakura) look remotely appealing. Proud Nhorianscum till death yo~
  7. Main early seals are Elise/Dwyer/Corn/Jakob/Mozu in no real order. Elise has tolerable hit with forged bronze and better-than-niles offense in wyvern until she picks up the bolt axe (and preferably heartseeker) and becomes a flying tanknukeaurabot. Dywer just wants cav and a Fseal off of Percy for a relevant midgame class. Jakob Partners off Corn, takes eroom +defender off cav via A+Silias, and then seals off Corn again to become a stacklord. Corn can seal whenever, you just go early for 1-2 or flight if they're relevant in your comp. Mozu is Bowzu. Percy may want fighter for growths and bases if he's your endgame bosskiller. Early flight is extremely good though. Edit: Laslow can go into ninja early and is good at it, but Silias and Soliel are much better MN's and BK gives him more move to abuse footwork. ------------------------------- Mythbusting: Odin is a funtional clone of Hero!Selena in MoA/SM. This is pretty shit. Vantage/LaD is busted on a sorc though. He's only in danger of being outclassed in mag damage by +magOphelia (aka God) as his respectable mag with +15 stack hurts like bitch. Defensively he's pretty much the uncontested fattest mage. Bonus edit: Odin can double on his join map, on lunatic, as a DM. Arthur just wants Eroom+Luna from the cav line. Be/Draco are just stronger classes and axes are Op. Arthur lacks VoF so he's very much not a clone of Silias. Bowzu can walk into Ch10 at xl1 and level like a madzu off pegs. Don't worry about feeding her. Gk/General are bad, Effie enjoys Archer off of Mozu though.
  8. RNG is RNG. That said the player gets a lot of tools to boost hitrate (AStance, Wta, skills, stats, freeze) so this should never be relevant.
  9. I just headcannon Arthur beating the shit out of Xander near the end of both routes. Also kill Effie so she never has to live with this.

For a moment let's pretend the part where Ryoma somehow takes significant damage in BR/Rev. with open guage, fails to proc, and fails to crit, isn't a statistical anomoly or really garbo play by somone who refuses to pair up EP units. ---------------------------------------------- With Ryomas personal floor of +19 stack on EP the list of units weak enough to get instablicked by vantages reads as "All of them" He's not the "Best" VLoD user but he is one and 100% killing things 100% of the time before they can interact with you is 100% safe. (Holy shit. It's 2018 and somone still thinks Rinkah is bad.)
  11. CQ gives more money than any other route. On average (Off the top of my head, not selling useless items) you would need 10 skirmishes in BR or 30 in rev to equal CQ funds. CQ's plot is far more tolerable if you just headcannon Elise as the protag.
  12. Takumi has a +1 steel yumi going for him for 3 maps. Then he falls off hard and is the worst bow user in the game by a wide margin. Reina joins one map later, Azama is Azama, Xl10 Setsuna and Mozu out damage him on his join map in BR and he's a joke in Rev compared to units with similar join (Looking at you Shura/Camilia/Reina). Hell, Bowboro is objectively stronger than Archer!Taco on both routes. Kiragi is really solid though. Talismanstack!Xander is slightly better than VStack drop boosted Ryoma in Rev. They're both untouchable blenders but Xander has way better movement options. Camilia is objectively better than all of these nerds though. Ignoring her other advantages... roses thorns is the second best personal in the game, with smart positioning she contributes more than Ryoma and Xander combined.
  13. Nhor has the perfect incarnation of raw, unadulturated, Justice. Also Elise. Hoshido has food jokes running the country and some malnurished little girl in straight up rags working in rice fields. Gonna go Nhor. Where even the "Starving beaten down villagers" are able to afford some sick threads, own homes not made of mud and grass, and seem suspiciously well fed.

  15. Save any version of a unit to logbook and you can buy their skills on other versions of that unit.
  16. Edit: This is actually useful right now lol, top100 castles all lack apt m!kana. Good news though, (if you're feeling lazy). Apt is not a stack/utility skill so it's worthless. Not helpful right now. But in the future it's a good idea to make a rev!file with maxed supports and inherent skills for gen1 and no S/A+ options chosen. Autobattle on nix and put a rock on your ds for convenience, it takes about an hour for the clear and 2-3 for max level and supports. Whenever you need a skill just build and logbook em. (Never ever save, and keep a clone file just in case). This covers pretty much every possible legal/useful skill combo. It's faster than trying to dig around MC, it's more convenient, and it will work after the 3ds server dies. Double edit: My skillfarm does not have M!Kana. F!Kana is just better in postend and Jakob!MKana (the only viable maingame kana varient) is self sufficent.
  17. Holy fuck that's a lot of infantry. If 24 is the thuper tholid thnake mission I'm thinking of... just ignore the gimmic and bumrush. None of the enemies are remotely threatening but they do give a decent chunk of exp. If you just really want to sneak. Low deploy locktouch, galebird, and warpwitch to make life easy.
  18. Cq gives way more exp/gold in the main game than the other routes and uses a smaller army so money and exp are never going to be a real issue. Also lilith.
  19. Corrin can seal off same gender A supports. Promotion does not affect wrank.
  20. Be/Sorc gives the biggest boost on pairup which is corncobs main lategame utility. If corn is already stacked then just use the highest mt 1-2 weapon you can. (Forged shuriken/tome/bolt/levin/hand axe) If corn isn't stacked and you want to lead with it you're reclassing for stack. (Stack = stacking 3-5 +damage skills for between +6 and +34 damage per hit. Utility skills often supercede the importance of more damage in the last skillslots.)
  21. Fren off A+ Beruka is pretty easy to set up since Cam enjoys fighter line more than hero (+12 stack is Cam's benchmark for serious brave axe abuse) as x/1 dracobaracuda gives move+1 in 11/12/13/14 where it really matter a silver str statue and a late Be pairup.
  22. I too enjoy hearing about the subtle distinctions between justice and revenge. His confession scene is also pretty incredible. (ArthurxBeruka OTP tho) Gameplay wise: As a lead he's a Be, has the highest natural axe rank at any given point alongside +16 stack luna if he takes a wyvfu or +13 luna off Mozu so he has gaurenteed bosskilling stats for ch28, and Percy is on par with if not better than Corrin!Dwyer. A+ supports with Niles/Doge and gaurenteed Be on his waifu ensure doubling speed and big damage/bulk forever. As a support... he's a Be with good A options, a unique aura, a natural +1 move reclass, and perfect avalibility.
