  1. [spoiler=Possibility]Sigrun might be Elincia's cousin through Renning's feral escapades before feral juice. They might have considered adding Sigrun alongside Elincia, since her bases are similarly average, yet at Level 15 make Yuuno look great. But they left her out, and then didn't mind adding a lancewielding sprite (the sword-wieldeing one is more practical to use on pre-battle scenes). I think April means that Lachesis' and Eirika's dress/stance/sword-using/lady-manners are similar, so using Kinata's point, they're probably related. If IS planned Sigrun and Elincia to be more directly related, they would have at least given more hints or pulled a Ranulf in the sequel to wrap everything up.
  2. CRAWLING! IN MY SKIN! THESE WOUNDS! THEY WILL! NOT HEALLL~! Volke for Harmonica!
  3. You should deepen the scarring left from moving Trey's ear up, that way it looks like a scar and not a splicing error, plus he'll look really cool. Beth needs some shading under her hair. Apart from the first 4 minimugs and some minor shading errors, they're all great.
  4. She has... But I think she'd play an instrument that would make her stand out here, like the cymbals. And eclipse, Neph's helmet and armor just made me think she'd be perfect for clarinet. I can see Meg and ed for those too. Tormod would probably play the drums while having a triangle on his back to match Sothe.
  5. I can imagine Elincia being taught to play the piano and violin in the courts, while her milk siblings Lucia and Geoffrey play viola and cello (he's already good with the weapon bow). Add in ↑Bastian's lyre and Leanne's singing to the string trio, and they're set for a fancy concert to the snobby Crimean court. Nephenee for clarinet, Meg for sax and Brom for marching drums. Heather would be just happy to cheer and clap.
  6. It seems I'm the First to welcome you Wyatt. Have fun and be wary of the members that bite.
  7. Best: Nailah - Glare, Formshift, Glare, movement, stats and Glare! Worst: Yuuno/Juno - Horrible
  8. You're right about the GBA Steel Lance, although its +2WEx is useful until your units can use better lances (Killer Lance B) ). I used Bowguns too, but he sometimes criticaled early in the game and killed them.
  9. Best weapon: Steel Greatlance (great overall, 1 more MT and 5 more uses than the Silver Lance for a lower price/Hit and higher Wt that all your 3rd tiers wouldn't care about). But really, Steel weapons in general, since they give you more WEx than Iron in the English games. The Steel Axe's purpose is to get paladins/heroes/generals to raise that Axe rank faster so they can use the Brave Axe/Tomahawk/other cool axes. Honourable Mentions: all iron weapons and basic tomes excepting Tellius, for their big uses, cheapness and versatility. I've found Bronze weapons to be useful for Ike/Titania to weaken enemies, and the Shinon-disarm/Heather-steal combo. Worst Weapon: Iron Longbow, the steel one is at least more powerful/useful and the Silver one is just too expensive. Mentions unworthy of honor: FE9 Light, because of things mentioned by Fayt Zelpher, and its FE10 counterpart Ellight (forged Light can be stronger and cheaper, making Ellight epic fail). -I nominate Best/worst Skill combos

  11. I don't play as much as I used to, but I did play real-life against a friend and cousin on May (because playing against anyone else would mean a Synchro (or tribute of monsters from the grave) on my face at the first turn I have 1% chance of beating). I have all the GBA/DS games until WC 2008, but I prefer to play WC 2006 for GBA from time to time. That would be Shadow of Infinity. Since then, everything got broken and richkidder with all the Gorzes, Honests, Synchros and stuff.
  12. I like Danved; he and Marcia (and Geoffrey just for bosskilling in those 2) are the only CRK units I use. He has good personality (mostly from supports in PoR) and is a slightly above average unit. His really big hindrances are availability (Paragon helps, but he won't catch Neph by chapter 11) and the lowest Skill growth of the Beorc (30%) that keep him from impaling or criticaling as much as Aran and Nephenee unless lucky. He's very much a male Nephenee that traded some Resistance for HP, and if she didn't exist, he would have been my top unit instead (with 1 or 2 secret books).
  13. Opps, sorry. Thanks Soren37, I didn't re-read the thread when making today's post. Then that means it's just an error of the guidebook, as my offical guide to FE8 has many errors, including the bases/caps of some classes for confusion with a class 2 rows above it. There is a chance it could be Strength/Speed based, since they are slightly lower than his Skill and it would activate less.
  14. Arena enemies' only caps seem to be the game's caps 127 HP (like all enemies) and 40 everything else (like the Dragon). Although I usually don't wager over 750G, but when I do, I have found my high/maxed speed units (paladins, lords, myrmidons, bishops) doubled or unable to double unpromoted mages, shamans, nomads, etc. Your units can only have 1 status ailment at a time, therefore Ninian's/Nils' rings serve as Restore replacements. The total price of all sellable (excludes Aureola) unused S weapons/tomes is 150,000G; 10 times the price of each S weapon, and 17.7% the necessary assets for the S rank in Hector Hard mode.
  15. It would be just like any other animation implementation, except you might have to work on the short stop between transformation and attack, depending on which manakete you're talking about. If you are working with FE8 Myrrh, you would have to add her breath animation or use/change the color of the FE6 one there. Luffy did it recently for Sacred contention, you might want to ask him.
  16. I wonder how the people who made the activation rate table determined the %: hacking the game, checking the official game guide, testing, or assumption by similarity? If it was the second, then it's very probable it was just a common error of tranlation/confusion.
  17. There were 3 attacks without Critical or Eclipse, so apart from not activating in Criticals, the activation rate is etiher skill/2% (60% in the vid thanks to Best Biorhythm), not counting the added 60 Skill of Alondite (50%) or using another stat/enemy stat in the calculation.
  18. You should try changing the main Lord class to the mercenary and your main replacing him/her. That is because only the character who's path you take (either Lyn, Eli or Hector) can seize.
  19. Easy Mode gives problems on some RD transfers. I reccomend Normal Fixed mode if you want to be sure you get certain stats maxed, but you'd need to pay more attention to details like which enemies your units kill and what weapons they carry. But it's just easier to use Random mode and save those stat-up items for the end.
  20. I like the addition of Glass weapons as cheap arena and boss killers. They replace the need of buying costly Silver weapons for weaker units and lower costs of forging. If only they'd be available more in game. The new weapon I really like is the Bamboo Sword (2 MT, 120 Hit, 30 Crit and 15 uses for 300G). I can imagine now Wifi armies of forged Frying Pan berserkers and Laundry Pole dracoknights.
  21. Are there Glass Axes(instead of Silver) / Quick Axes (instead of Brave) in the normal game (not just online shop) that you can forge at a lower prize just for endgame? Also, I saw a pic where a mercenary Bord/Cord (can't read Japanese) is able to perform the Triangle Attack with the other 2 fighters (has anyone tried reclassing them and attacking with the 3?), so maybe the attack could be done with a forged tome (Medeus has 30 Res / 40 Def)... but considering ~20 Mag at best with Cord, it'd be the same problem.
  22. Maybe I should stop defending Brave weapons in general, since I mostly used the Brave Bow and the already-limitless Amiti. Provoke+Vantage+Brave Bow(or Adept) Marksmen behind something/one are helpful baits. All-in-all, the Brave weapons' best use on an Endgame team is to allow securely doubling the Auras/Ashera/anything else your low speed units can't double or survive getting hit much with. You all make good points, so I'll leave them at just good choices for unlimited use. You know, I've never seen someone bring the cat sisters to the endgame.
  23. Well, Blessed Brave Weapon + Vantage (and sometimes Adept) = NO Damage, so I can basically just leave my unit alone taking on dragons/spirits. But yeah, I also like to overuse the cheap Steel weapons or Iron ones on the stronger units. Since I saved a lot of money that way, my endgame units had forged Steel/Throw weapons the color of their clothing. And I give Ranulf, Halfshift and Smite to make him somewhat useful as a weakener, while leading Tormod/Vika/Muarim down the stairs and behind Nailah (Tormod could then weaken for Heather). I imagined something like that, but with Glared priests on 1-E. Still, over 150 turns is too much. I imagined you got to the 99:99 time by 3-P. Micky Sue's speed is as garbage as her sister's and Soren's. But that doesn't matter in RD since the mage sp cap is too low anyway. She makes a good glass cannon though.
  24. Haha, me too. But to tell you the truth, I have a cousin that is almost like her and eats 2 full dinners (1 in the afternoon and 1 at night). You could pass a needle through his chest.

  25. I haven't played FE4, so I can only help a little there. If you're at chapter 8, then that means you've already passed 75% of the game, so for that chapter, I reccomend having your teams at Alster and Lenster close together, with most of your mages in Alster to take on the knights. Take Conote first then go to Mease through the mountains to avoid the arrows firing at you. Next chapter, your archers and mages will be very important for the hordes of dragon riders and Hero-weapon users. For FE7 and FE8, take all the advice above, and try to buy various Physic staves on the secret shops which are always handy for long-distance healing even the smallest wounds (not much for 2 HP less than for 8+ HP), that way your healers are safe from harm. Promote your magic units once they're at a high level (17+) to assure ranged-offensive/healing units that can take more than one hit. Don't be afraid to use pre-promotes (Marcus/Seth/Duessel, Pent/Saleh, Hawkeye), but give them Iron weapons or Fire to weaken the enemies instead of killing them. Always be wary of archers/snipers, reinforcement-spawning forts and enemies with Bolting, Slayer weapons or Sleep/Berserk staves. In FE8, be careful with stone!gorgons and archmogalls with shadowshot too. Good luck with everything.
