  1. I completely agree with you. I like Radiant Dawn -even the graphics, which although lackluster compared to other console games of this millenium, are great as is- and would have just added some more personal supports in it (PoR's support system was good with Chp over turn points). Here are some things I'd like to see: •A Save Staff (around 40 uses) or a limited Save Galdr ("Salvo") over the RD abuse-potential one - that way you can strategize on the right time to use it. In Hard/Maniac modes, they could just half the uses. •An Arena Tower - Like the Tower of Valni/Lagdou Ruins but charging you a sum of money in the entrance that would be recovered with the weapons/items found inside. If you retreat, you still get to keep the EXP/items, but you would skip on the chest/last boss weapon in the end. •More objectives - Like skitarii said. An example would be Rout certain enemies: 2 enemy armies are mixed up and coming at you, but you have to defeat all of army A, while trying to maintain as many of B alive for a reward (you lose if all of B are dead). Sleep/silence would come in handy here. •Less broken DS-Forging/WiFi battles - maybe have some battles like in AW2 where you can play a customizable pre-selected-unit battle (have some units out and a castle where you can buy the services of a cavalier/mercenary/mage/other). •Gender exceptions - some female fighters with axes, Str/Def caps comparable to male ones and good Con, & some male non-magical units with non-mediocre Mag and spell-related skills. •Skills - I like Radiant Dawn's system of takeout, learn and transfer, and Occult skills being automatic, but maybe have something like trade an Occult skill (which can never be regained) for a then non-learnable skill determined by class (like +10% Crit, Savior, ability to use Cards/Knives, etc). •Replay Value - make you want to replay for different characters/paths/enemy types/hard-to-get conversation with a special weapon for reward.
  2. Hi. What's up? I'm glad, I've convinced you to use such an awesome character (considering everything, Ilyana's as great or better than Soren). You might want to check out my post about her personality when I write it soon.

  3. Ilyana is the character who got the best growth improvement from PoR to RD at the least decrease in an individual stat growth (-5% Luck growth for +10% HP, +20% Str, and +15% Skl/Def). Basically her growth sum went up 55% (305 ► 360). She also has the same availability in both games (24 chapters), if you count PoR Chp17 as 4 chapters. Being the returning character with the lowest tier/level, makes her the Tellius character with the most possible levelups overall (34 + 48 = 82). Ilyana also carries a yellow (El)Thunder tome in both artworks, just like Tormod carries a red (El)Fire [soren's changes colors between games].
  4. I agree with Slowking on this one, and I think Resistance means how many books thrown upon you can you resist before falling on you knees. Although I still think the books in the GBA FE's come with some magic powder for criticals (CRITICAL SNEEZE!).
  5. I meant against the Auras/Spirits (which was the basis of my endgame team, routing E-5 in one turn). And yeah Shinon, Nolan, Ulki, Ranulf, etc were all awesome, I didn't take them because of space. I should have rephrased my post better. :P But yeah, Brave weapons are good for extra characters of the same SS weapon to use. Also I know 1-1 NM is easy, but I like to rout even if I don't have to. I'm stubborn and leave Nolan walling near the barrels with Micaiah behind for EXP until I really should leave. I think a Master Seal/Crown may have been involved. Mine promoted in 3-13 with BEXP at 20/20.86. In RD, everything's possible. And like Chuy, SHORTS FTW! If only Sanaki weren't obligatory.
  6. I've found Linde: Mage > Sage > Swordmaster to be great for Levin swords (since she keeps around 16 Mag). Lena: Mage > Bishop could use Aura then.
  7. I agree with Charpig, Radd looks younger than Caesar and since his eyes are a little bigger (which in FE terms means younger), you can take it to be true. Radd is in the late teens (~17), while Caesar and Roger are early 20's. Julian seems early 20's too, but since Jaffar was 17, I'm not sure. Tomas is between Radd's and Caesar's ages. And Castor (to me) is hard to tell. He seems to be like Oswin, younger than he looks (~19).
  8. Oliver is the only senator and unit of the Bishop/Saint class to not wear anything of the traditional white color associated with the position. He probably thinks of it as a bland ugly color. He is also the magical unit with the lowest RES growth (20%) since Yodel in Binding Blade. Despite having the skill Serenity in the previous game, Devdan Danved and Rhys are Biorhythm Types 7 and 1 respectively, which spend a lot of time at the Best and Worst positions, therefore higher impact bonuswise.
  9. FE3DS will be confusing when the first Fire Emblem for 3DS does come out (FE14?). I refer to Shadow Dragon as FE11, FESD or FEDS, and the next game as FE12 or NewME. Numbers are confusing for non-fans if they consider the Satellaview games as Games and not an expansion pack to FE3. XP
  10. Why isn't higher, he can use earlier than . should be Bottom Tier or on a new Useless Tier.
  11. Hey Laharl, welcome to Serenes Forest. Hope you enjoy your stay here!
  12. It's mostly the same thing on every forum. Except here, making a tier list will guarantee at least 5 people will debate/bash/claw over certain character/thing being too high or too low, resulting in a more interesting battlefield than Sacred Stones' Lagdou Ruins.
  13. I think the tomes come with a limited supply of the magic powder mages throw before attacking, and the uses are the amount of powder left. Although the ripping/burning the pages works good too.
  14. No, I equipped Physic on my turn and then in the enemy turn, she countered 2 or 3 times with it, and then for the next feral attack, she had Amiti equipped. Something similar occurs with the Black Knight with Bronze Swords in Pt 1 Ch 9, that he automatically re-equips Alondite after a certain amount of turns or something. Might be something of Easy Mode that re-equips unequiped or personal weapons. In 2-3 (the chapter where you get lots of BExp for keeping enemies alive), I also had to check if the guys got re-equiped (in this last case it was probably the herbs). I didn't know that at first, and I probably lost that 1 space advantage when I didn't unequip Ragnell the first turn. And Ike didn't need anything other than Nihil to prevent badly timed Aethers/Eclipses, the Bronze Swords worked just fine after I got the Wishblade. He did have a Hammer just in case. Oh, that might explain it. I guessed I never noticed that since most Feral Ones had to cross the swamp waters to get to anyone. If I get to play again (very improbable since it wasn't my game or Wii), I'll try to notice the Elincia re-equip thing or the Feral 1st-turn-attacks. The AI of some Feral Ones remains weird, considering they didn't necessarily go to the weakest or lowest HP unit. Edit: Now that I remember, the game was used but still in the packaging with the manual and all (probably found it too difficult/boring and returned it). There's the probability the previous owner could have hacked/meddled with it.
  15. When I played Part 4 Chapter 5 - Unforgivable Sin, two strange things happened: •I had awesome Mercy-removed Elincia on the northeast corner of the map owning everything with her Best-weapon-in-the-entire-series, and decided to try her out with a Physic equipped. When it came to the enemies' turn, she kept defeating them (with an occasional Critical here and there), but after 2 rounds she re-equipped her awesome-+3Def/Res-unlimited-Brave-Sword ON THE ENEMY TURN! I tried it again, but it re-occured. Does anyone know why this happens and how it can be avoided? If I remember correctly (last summer), Endgame Ike didn't change to the Ragnell when equipped with a Bronze Sword/Ettard... or did he? My memory is bad, but I remember stalling Burger King's inevitable defeat with Golden-brown Bronze Swords, Nihil and a large soda (forgot which of the 2 varieties it was). •When I got my units to approach Izuka on the middle island, the Feral Ones generally avoided Zihark. Even if he was the only unit in their range, they either moved next to him and didnt't attack or move elsewhere (the case of some ravens). I thought they might have been a little smart and delayed their defeat for 1 more turn, and then I thought he was a Branded or might have been a Feral One sometime in the past, and they acted with mercy so as to not scratch him. I found out months later, he was just nice towards laguz, and in the SF pacifist list, there's no mention of him not attacking generic laguz or viceversa. I think this might have been a one/two turn thing, because if I recall correctly, a Feral beast did attack him later on. I still find it strange, considering ~Lv 12 Zihark was easier prey than ~Lv 15 almost-everything-capped Edward and Nolan. And did I forget to mention Ulki was an untransformed beast and bait. Man, I loved this chapter, everyone was great and you never ran out of beasts to assasinate with your skills/criticals. It was unexpectedly the biggest piece of ~fun in FE10.
  16. It's getting hot in here, but I'm still not mush

  17. I think it has to do with Habbo Hotel's lobby, and then lost all meaning on other forums. That and the fact you guys feel like gatekeepers with this nice burnt-down gate here.
  18. Te puedo asegurar Héroe, que no crezco ni uso nada de eso. You have a good poreason to think that, but it's nothing like that.
  19. Yeah, true about the troll thing, but most you see around forums aren't really that smart or are just way too bored. I'll keep my mouth shut about the "dark" stuff; maybe you'll find out in the future. I linked to Mallory, because as I said, most people here post short intros, so mine is the longest since February. And no, it wasn't a joke and I don't know them.
  20. Hey Bizz. I have an eye out for them, but the best way to beat them is ignore and pass around them- that always works, because it always turns them mad
  21. My team on Easy was made for defeating Ashera (and the 3 spirits) in one turn. The obligatory ones: Ike - Ragnell Micaiah - Rexaura/Matrona Sothe - Baselard Sanaki - Rexflame Kurth Ena The others: Nephenee - Wishblade Ilyana - Rexbolt Jill - forgot if Brave Axe or Urvan Elincia - Awesomest-weapon-in-the-series or Amiti for short Caineghis Tibarn Rafiel - Laguz Gem The Triangle Bros (I could have gone with the Pegasi one, but I don't like Sigrun) Rolf - Double Bow Oscar - Forged Steel Lance/Steel Longbow Boyd - Arbalest And Leonardo - Brave Bow Don't know why I used Leo, since Shinnon, Edward, Nolan and Zihark were as great, but I guess it's because everyone ignored him. I also had problems with chapter 1 on both Normal and Hard mode. I'm not used to rushing my units to escape and ignoring the experience of reinforcements. I got to chapter 3, but a few months later the Wii I was playing on failed and the memory was lost, so I'll probably not be doing that again. As for suggestions, have a Paragon in each P4 team, bring the most EXP needy to Tibarn's team, level up everyone to around Lv 15 and compare who's best for each weapon. And don't forget, Brave weapons are your non-trueblade male units' best friends, since they can't double much even on Easy.
  22. Sword and Pen at hand, I join these woods after a long wait in the dark. Hey everyone, I'm Luis, the Silent Mercenary. I have been a regular visitor of the site and forums for a long, long time before half of you were born joined. I join today, because the date sums 8 (+1infinity :D) and it's hot/rainy!summer meaning I can be more active here while sitting in front of a pc. A paragraph about me: I am an 18-year old college student from a small Caribbean island paradise nobody's heard about, who is very random and only funny when not trying. Generally, I am a nice guy who harbors a violent dark side constantly imagining horrible new ways to torture/annihilate (no worries, you won't see that side). I like to read (Six Sacred Stones#1), write (lazy; mostly haikus↑ and short stories), talk with friends, play games/music♫, draw, watch TV/movies, and other dark, mysterious stuff I am not allowed to mention. Also, my main language is Spanish, but I prefer to write/read/listen in English, which is thanks to cable TV and not English class. On Me and FE: My favorite (played until now) FE's are 5 (for difficulty, will return to it soon), 7 (for story and introducing me to it), 8 (best characters) and 11 (added options), but 10 is overall. Since Rey has Ninian in his grasp, I'll say my favorite character is Marisa, followed by Gerik, Neph, Ilyana and Edward. I hope to have a fun stay. I'll probably return to spriting now and maybe do an FE mod that doesn't deserve the word hack, since I sucked at my first attempt of changing Marcus' name and got the glitch sound (he's named Migal until I can learn to fix it). Sorry for making you read that much since Malory I guessed a long intro would light up the introsea of 2-monthers again. Well, go ahead and ask me anything not involving passwords and all that secret jazz.
  23. Hi Superluigi, welcome to Serenes Forest. I've seen you around in New Dawn, you're a good mapper and spriter. Love your Ilyana:P
