  1. For the record, an Iron Born fleet is actively heading towards Mereen in the books, lead by an adapted out character called Victarion. So seeing Theon and Asha Yara filling that role instead seems the only path to go. He also has a Dragon enslaving horn Euron found somewhere so is expect that'll pop up somewhere too.

And remember in season 5, when Bronn and Jaime went to Dorne instead of the kingsguard guy (wtf was his name). Well we know how that went. Not saying that they will screw it up, but they might (really hope they don't though).

  2. I'd like to ask everyone participating in the general update to post their actions. Hammerpriest should be back to updating starting next turn; if not I want to move things along myself with an update (turn 3) tomorrow night.

In case anyone is wondering, I use the same roll strings for all updates on the same turn.

Just noticed, why doesn't Arthur has the Bronze Lance equipped? He should've had more hit rate and dealt 9 damage when hitting (not 11). Also I'd appreciate it if you post the rolls, not saying that I think you changed it, but there could've been some errors. And well I just like more transparent GMs in general.

  3. 1. Guessing Margaery is playing everyone while Tommen has no idea what he's doing. I'm interested in that next Olenna scene.

    2. I'm hype about Benjen, hope they don't kill him off immediately. I also hope they tell us why he took the black in the first place.

    3. As soon as Sam took that sword it all kind of clicked to me. Like that thing is definitely gonna get melted down at Oldtown for research or for general Walker slaying.

    4. To add to the "Bran is the reason Aerys goes batshit crazy" theory, last episode the show goes out of it's way to show us Ned's dad. This week they show us Aerys himself. I'm guessing Bran goes back and tells him "Burn them all" to ensure Aerys gets those caches of wildfire made.

    5. Mention of Brotherhood Without Banners, and reintroduction of Walder Frey? Brienne and Jaime both headed for the Riverlands? If I didn't know any better I'd be expecting a certain Lady Stoneheart to appear at the end of this season.

    6. Next week we catch up with Theon and Yara. Them ending up with Dany would be pretty fitting. Exiled Hand, exiled Master of Whispers, exiled Kingsguard, exiled poacher, might as well throw some exiled Ironborn into that mix. Not sure what happens to Euron after that though.

    1. I hope so, I'm not really comfortable with this new change in character. I hope she's just doing it to avoid the Walk of Atonement bs.

    2. Agreed

    3. I hope not. It's his family's sword. With all their long history, I'll also find it hard to believe if Oldtown doesn't have their own Valyrian Steel blade (or at least a dagger, a f*cking assassin in season 1 did). I'm kinda hoping for Sam the Slayer though.

    4. Aerys has been crazy long before Robert's Rebellion and liked to burn people (according to the books, since he got kidnapped). Even if he wasn't in the show, I can't see a motivation for Bran intentionally wanting to do that (unless some time paradox is involved, and that would be pretty dumb and unfitting for GOT)

    5. Hell yes

    6. Let's just hope they don't fuck it up like Dorne (Haven't seen anything this season to suggest that, but still). With the conversation between Dany and Daario at the end, I can kind of see that happening, since Mereen lost all its ships, that would be a solution (a bit too convenient, but oh well.)

  4. You forgot to give me EXP. Also the fact that non-bandits can burn down villages seems odd to me but maybe I just misremember the games?

Edit: Random Player, is there a reason you're not attacking the enemies right next to you? :v

As a cavalier, I have more mobility than literally anybody else on our team so I feel like I'll get more chances to engage enemies. Since almost everyone can kill both cavs, I think it'd be better if I don't hog the experience. meh, not the best reasoning I know, but that's it.

Also, Rommel/Hylian both cavs has been attacked (and very likely killed) by eclipse and shimmy respectively. So your character is literally milking a dead horse.

  5. If Beatrix has a problem with Phillipe she can feel free to say it, you know. This isn't about seeing who has the best Gary Stu, its about making a good story.

I'm planning to. I just want to do it in a way that will impact the story instead of some filler that gets resolved immediately.

  6. While she thoroughly enjoyed the battle, Beatrix found the results disappointing. She had nothing against Erusea winning, but she still can't believe how Phillipe could lose. The nobles she used to read about went against impossible odds and won, how could a prince lose to a Nidoran? Unless Phillipe was not a true prince. That has to be it, Beatrix thought. If he was really nobility, he wouldn't have lost.

With the battle over, Beatrix didn't really have anything to do in mind. She decides to explore her new home, checking the merchants who are setting up their shops.

  7. When she heard the Eevee's reply, Beatrix can't help but giggle. He as shy as her little brother, she thought. I wonder how they're doing right now, she thought. "Nym is it? Well I hope we can be friends. Are you coming to the dojo? I'm honestly very excited about it, I don't get to see many battles where I come from." Just then she spotted Phillipe entering the dojo, "Looks like it's starting soon, I'll see you inside." Beatrix says, as she runs excitedly to the dojo, not wanting to miss a second of the battle.

[spoiler=OOC]Don't know if it's intentional but Nidoran doesn't get ground typing until Nidoking

  8. The Eevee got all defensive and denied having secrets when Beatrix confronted him about it. She was confused, wasn't he the one who said that he had secrets in the first place? Unless she was reading her mind, which she had never done before. She could sense emotions like everyone in her family but reading minds directly is another thing entirely.

Regardless, things didn't go exactly according to her plan. The Nidoran, Euresia will fight Phillipe, the Espurr seems to have all but walked out, and the Eevee is scared for some reason. At first she thought he was just a coward, but there might be something else. What was his name again? Beatrix realize that she doesn't know, she should fix that. And that leaves her with Beth, eager as she is to fight, even she is afraid of the Zangoose. One hit from her (Beth is a her, right?) will knock Beatrix out cold. Looks like she'll have to sit out as well. At least she can still see what the Nidoran is capable of, and also the Prince. The Prince mostly, she's very eager to see what someone from royalty is capable of.

Firstly though, she should apologize to the Eevee, he didn't deserve her berating. "Um, I'm sorry for shouting at you. I got caught up in the moment hehe, I'm Beatrix, nice to meet you!" Nice to meet you , how ridiculous, she thought.

  9. Beatrix's eyes glimmered when she heard the notion. Part of why she wanted to go on an adventure was to fight. And fighting Pokemon without killing each other would be great practice to prepare for fighting feral or even shadow Pokemon. "I agree." She immediately replied. She wanted to know what may be her future teammates are capable of, but most of all she just wanted to fight.

Hearing, the Eevee's complaint, she can sense that he's scared, but she's not going to let this chance slip away because of a coward. "How will fighting show your secrets? If we're staying together, I don't even think you should keep secrets" she said as she glanced at the Eevee angrily.

  10. The Piplup startled her, he claims to be royalty, and wants to be a leader. It's safer to travel with a group, and a group needs a leader who knows what they're doing. Beatrix recalled her brother said once. Her brother was the leader of his group, but Beatrix barely knows how to survive, much less to lead. This Piplup looks confident, most likely he's experienced a lot, and he's also royalty. Beatrix doesn't see why not. "I don't see why not, I suppose. As long as you know what you're doing umm... Your Royal Highness." The books her mother forced her to read turned out to be more useful than she thought.

  11. "I wish, I can't do that yet. Yes, my name is Beatrix (oh, most certainly), and I am female (if he already knew that, I'm not going to ask how). I recall going to the top of the plateau and hearing some Pokemon talking, but not much else." Her memory is still groggy. "Uh, who is this Phillipe? And who are you?" He looks as confused as I am, Beatrix thought.

  12. Beatrix had no intention of resting, but she seems to have pass out from hunger. She didn't feel any less hungry upon waking (perhaps even hungrier?), but she saw a bag of fruits near her. Without so much as a second though, she dove in and ate anything she grabbed on. Most were berries, but she did grab an apple, or two, or three. Only by the time she was finished did she notice that other Pokemon were also there. She saw a Nidoran (Purple means male), a Piplup who's building a Mailbox, an unconscious Eevee, and a Zangoose. She stared at the Zangoose for a moment, big, strong, and fierce. Everything she wanted and yet will never be. Why must she be born a Ralts. Gallades are strong to be sure, but only male Ralts can evolve into one.

Brushing away the thought, she stood up and tried to recall whether or not she introduced herself. Judging from the way they're reacting towards her, she must have. Problem is, she didn't know who any of them are. She approached the nearby Nidoran and asked "You guys seem to know me. Um, who are you guys?"

OOC: Looks like I missed a lot

  13. Walking around randomly, Beatrix suddenly found herself at the top of the plateau. She immediately notices that she's not alone there, seeing 4 other Pokemon a little further ahead, though it looks like they haven't noticed her yet. Hiding behind a rock, she remembered her brother's stories about feral Pokemon and how they will attack anyone they come across, Beatrix was excited at the thought of meeting one back then, but now she's not so sure.

And yet when she looks at them again, they don't look like the feral Pokemon her brother mentioned. She saw one of them introduce himself and then another who left soon after. Feral Pokemon shouldn't talk, right? As she was pondering on it, her stomach began to growl. That must have pushed away all the doubts from her mind as she stepped forward, and introduced herself a little loudly to grab their attention "Hi, I'm Beatrix." She always wanted to say that. "Do any of you have some food you can share?" She might have sounded rude, but at the moment she's too hungry to care.

  14. While she was initially excited about starting her own adventure, Fi--no Beatrix, she'll have to remember that, started to think this was not such a good idea. She's eaten all the apples she brought from home and while the berries she found were delicious, they weren't quite as filling. She had found a few seeds as well but when she tried to eat one it turned to fire in her mouth. As she was not keen on reliving the experience, she has avoided all seeds since then.

When she arrived at the plateau, she sighed. Another wasteland, she thought grimly. She should have brought a map she realized too late. For all she knew, she might have been travelling in circles. "Well, not much I can do." she said to no one in particular as she started walking around the plateau, getting hungrier with each step
