  1. Am I the only one who think we will have a first gen remakes instead rather than Fourth gens ? Ah no matter.

I finally finished the game, and sheesh, it is vicious It really don't like you.

Called it, Kukui was going to have the last starter, if it wasn't Lillie, it was going to be him.

And after the league, you become the first Alola champion ever, whch is freaking badass, and... bam, surprise legendary fight. Thanks game, I suppose that you could fight it later postgame- but I did not wanted to risk it.

I used all my ultra balls, super balls, poke-balls. I had to use those cave/night balls. It was ridiculous, I was half way between laughing and facepalming.

I suppose that Tokorico was good enough to worth the trouble, eh. Elec/Fairy is surprising though.

Bye-bye waifu who's supposed to be 11 year old. Good luck with Kanto.

Kanto, here why I think we'll have a remake, it's too big of a flag for me to ignore.

You can. I wasted almost 20 balls before it fainted to hail, and didn't reload since I didn't want to fight Kukui again. Battled it again postgame and got it on my second pokeball. Go figure.

Got my Gengar thanks for trading!

  3. For those of us who don't care about spoilers: the individual island pokedexes have been leaked.

    MeleMele: http://pastebin.com/DRd8c2mm

    Akala: http://pastebin.com/a3waCTnC

    Island 3: http://pastebin.com/3e2WyFHw

    Island 4: http://pastebin.com/4SsZyEMt

This should be a major asset for team building.

Well most of my team (with the exception of mermaid popplio) appears to be mid to late game, while Silvally doesn't appear in any of the dexes, so it's probably post game?

  4. I think I'll do fine reading the wiki for now.

    Anyway, my entry

    Name: Elias
    Gender: Male
    Allegiance: Hoshido
    Job: Spear Knight
Appearance: Tall but lean, blonde hair, fair skin, if one were to dress him in royal robes he might be mistaken for royalty.
Personality: An idealist but not beyond reason, gets flustered easily, and is easy to trust people.

Bio: Despite being born to Nohrian parents and looking every bit a Nohrian himself, Elias never remembered much of his time in Nohr. Though he was never directly the subject of discrimination, Elias often wondered why none of his peers looked like him or his parents. Questions to his parents only revealed that he was not a native of Hoshido but also that it didn't make him any less a Hoshidan. When Elias reached adulthood, Elias' father finally told him about how he was a self-exiled former guard in Nohr who saw firsthand of King Garon's cruel orders and how the king appointed criminals to high positions purely for their brutality. Eventually fed up by the king, Elias' father took him and his mother and smuggled themselves to Hoshido. When Nohr invaded Hoshido, Elias' father told him to join the army and help ensure that King Garon does not end up ruling Hoshido as well, since he himself was too old to do so. A trained hunter, Elias complied with his father's wish and lent his spear to the Hoshidan army.

  5. I'm aware that Rufus can be infinitely powerful with Understanding of Chi but that would require a lot of grinding, which is not something I enjoy doing in a game and definitely not something I'd do in an RP. To get a reasonable chance of applying ONE debuff to ONE specific type of enemy, say Poison Rufus needs a minimum of 25 turns. ((70+12,5) * (60+25)% = 82.5 * 85% = 70.125) That's assuming he doesn't miss once, which is unrealistic as hell. Screw sleep if you want, Rufus can't even apply Poison properly. I'd suggest lowering the accuracy to 60 for Poison and Blind, 25 for Freeze, 10 for Sleep, guarantee debuff upon hit and have Understanding of Chi apply unversally base at +5 with a max of +50 (+1 for each success). That way at least Rufus doesn't have to grind nearly as much. Sleep will have a maximum hit rate of 60 without calculating enemy's dodge (which I'm assuming is a thing) while Poison and Blind will at least land reliably.

  6. I just noticed this, but does Rufus have to roll to debuff an enemy after rolling for accuracy? That might be a little overkill. I mean Narcotic Trance only have a 50% success rate after 40 base accuracy, that equals to a grand total of 20% or the hit rate of an fe bandit in chapter 1. it doesn't even do damage.

EDIT: Just noticed that it was also like this before but with the massive innate bonuses. The most reliable debuff Rufus can inflict right now is Poison/Blind with a 42% chance of hitting (60% * Base Accuracy 70) which is not very reliable. Since Rufus doesn't really have a lot of dps, I think that he should at least somewhat reliably debuff enemies.

  7. Shepard grew red in the face. He may or may not have had forays of his own in taboo romance, but Thyme seemed a little young, and Rufus a lot drunk. "Hold your tongue, or your booze. She's a little young for that, and you know it."

A more sober, wiser Rufus would've stopped, but Rufus is drunk. And drunk Rufus doesn't back down. "The heroic Shepard to the rescue... You know what Shepard, I'm getting pretty sick of you. What do you say we settle this like men. Come on, bring out those fancy guns."

  8. "My pride isn't 'hurt' so much as the fact that a creepy guy put a girl to sleep making her, you know, unable to respond! Heck, I'm a girl and I don't use sleep magic on other girls for the exact same reason. I don't use it on guys either but that's more because it's almost never practical and never seems to work on the people you really need it to."

Taking the last sips from his whiskey, Rufus now visibly drunk, blurted out "Maybe you need to get your mind off the gutter then, or are you just that afraid of someone popping that cherry?" Looking Thyme in the eye and cracking a smile, Rufus continued "Hard to imagine that considering 6 out of 7 people in this room have seen you strip in public."
