I have heard of it, yes. Didn't really pique my interest. What do you think of it?

Not only have I not ironmanned FE3, I've never played it. I've thought about it (book 2 only, though, book 1 looks like a straight downgrade from FE11), but I haven't come around to doing it.

The unskippable, slow text; the lack of supports (as hit and miss as they were in FE12), and the fact that half of my favourites are missing from the original book 2 don't exactly motivate me to do it.

Your thoughts on the boss nerf? I can tell you other weird changes. 

Two unit changes in Mystery of the Emblem worth mentioning:

* Roshea got a massive boost to his stat growths and is actually a good cavalier now. Interestingly he is one of the only FE1 characters to get such a drastic growths change. Sadly these changes didn't stay in Shadow Dragon.

** His speed was increased by 30%, so he now has 40% speed.

** His Luck increased by 40% for 50% Luck growth.

** Finally his defense increased by 20%, giving him 30% defense growth and making him very tanky.

* Lorenz now has a 19 base Defense stat and has exclusive Gradivus use indoors as well as the WLV to use it as base(the DS version of Shadow Dragon used the NES Base DEF, sadly). He might be worth using in your run.

Jeez, wish I had checked the growth rates more closely, he sounds awesome.

Its interesting, I wonder why Roshea got such a boost, maybe Kaga grew to like him as he did Jamke?

Ok, I had time and did it with weapon stat manipulation. It seems Gigas Knight Axe Cap  is 60.

Wow if true Gigas Knights have a 10% critical bonus.

I have the Akanea Chronicle book with the BS FE art, was curious about doing higher-res scans but I didn't wanna ruin my book for it.

Still on the lookout for any potential music sources.

I actually have some ideas for more BSFE missions myself.

Like a mission where the player plays as Cornelius against Camus, the Sable Order, and Dolhr with Jiol as a temporary ally.

Ah, I can see it a bit now, it seemed small though.

What did you think of the Lekain comparison or that Boss designs are less overthetop in Radiant Dawn and the Tearring Saga series?

I've also noticed minor sympathetic bosses also tend to be ugly because they're minor, while important sympathetic bosses are usually good looking or old.

Somebody earlier compared Oliver between games and it's the same thing basically...they made him look less sinister in RD.

Radiant Dawn had less over the top boss portraits, I think.

Some examples of noble, but minor bosses that still have evil looking portraits.
