I think they're giving out Azura on this banner because they're going to give her a refinement on the update after this upcoming one. IIRC, that's what they did with Tiki: Put Young!Tiki on a Legendary banner, and then on the next update, the Tikis are getting a refinement! At least, I want this to be the case. I could be completely wrong, and I don't think one unit makes a pattern or anything, but I'd like to think this is the case... and also I can't come up with a better explanation for her appearance here.

This is roughly what I do with Kirby games: sit back and smile as Kirby fills me with happiness. I mean, I don't really interact with the Kirby fandom (though I'm sure it exists), and I'd imagine that they have some level of drama, but yeah, if any series is gonna have a relatively chill fanbase, I'd bet on the pink puffball of cuteness. Thanks for the reminder. Although, now I have to wonder if this next banner will be CYL2 (which, assuming we get one freebie, I can mostly skip 'cause I can just grab free Veronica and hope for someone neat on the free pull) or a regular seasonal banner...

So, congrats to everyone who expected Blue Lucina With A Bow to be our next Legendary! I know there were a few people here to whom that applies. I'm so happy this is dropping right before the summer celebration orbdrop starts up, since that means we should be getting a significant influx of Orbs (between this and the monthly August quests) while Lucina's banner is on (am I right about this?). Which is great for me, since for once every color has at least one unit that I desire and I ended up wanting half of the banner (Lucina and Ishtar from Blue, Kinshinoka and Grima from Colorless, Lissa and Lyn from Green, and Ryoma from Red). Lucina in particular looks super nice, I want to get my hands on that Drive Distant DEF 2 in particular (and also this makes me hope that we get Close Guard at some point), and Future Vision+Wings of Mercy looks like it'll be fun to mess around with as well. On an unrelated note, are we ever gonna get another Colorless Legendary? It's starting to bother me that every other color is on their 2nd or 3rd Legendary, but Grima never gets swapped out. The Fell Dragon needs a vacation at some point, don't you think?

I was thinking of Sacred Seal slot for Brash Assault. I should've specified that, but I forgot that it was also a B Slot skill. As for Brave Bow+... Yeah, Takumi would probably be great with that. I have Hinoka, NYAzura and Halloween Nowi for Hone Fliers, so he can get that pretty easily, and if I teamed him up with NYAzura (Dancer + Hone Fliers, could also run Wings of Mercy), Falicorn Olivia (Dancer + Chill RES, could also run Fortify Fliers and Flier Formation for shenanigans) and Myrrh (Tank, has DC+QR+Iote's to tank all the things that Takumi fears, and in return Takumi can rain arrows down on Falchions, Nagas, and Tikis to clear them out for her), I could see Takumi running Brave Bow+ / Ardent Sacrifice / Moonbow / Brazen ATK/SPD 3 / Desperation 3 / SPD Smoke 3 / Heavy Blade 3 so he could double Moonbow all across the sky, even against foes that don't get their SPD Chilled by Olivia (Ardent Sacrifice is there so he can get into Brazen+Desperation range safely via healing my Myrrh after she tanks something in case the only enemies he can attack at the start of a fight can counterkill him), and it sounds awesome. Only problem with this set is that I don't have enough feathers at the moment (I have 60k, of which 20k is reserved for a Walhart to keep, and 20k is in limbo because now I'm not so sure I want to give Takumi Chill DEF if I go with his Brave set. After that, I'd need 20k for a Linus for Brazen ATK/SPD, 20k for a Fallen Takumi for SPD Smoke, and 20k for a Gordin for Brave Bow+, so this'll have to wait until I get another 20k feathers at the earliest), but I am so building this when I do. Thanks for the ideas!

If/when Seth gets a personal weapon, I'm hoping it's something like a 16-MT Safeguard with the option to refine Brazen ATK/SPD 3 onto it, since that would give him a weapon that effectively boosts all of Seth's relevant stats in one way or another (ATK and SPD once Seth's HP dips below 80%, DEF on Enemy Phase, HP via refinement, RES is not a relevant stat for Seth) and probably makes him a better unit, even if it most likely doesn't make him super amazing or anything. ... On another note, would Brash Assault be a good choice for Summer Takumi? I want to give it to him because he already has Desperation on his weapon, but would something else be better on him (mine's +ATK/-DEF, in case that changes the answer)?

@Icelerate I quite like your Micaiah! It's sufficiently different from the original, and not especially powercreepy IMO. Close Counter feels odd on a mage I would normally think of as squishy, but I could see giving her the Close DEF Sacred Seal to better survive melee foes. So, a bit odd, but she looks like she'd work pretty well. Hopefully we'll get something like this if/when Legendary Micaiah drops. So, here are some Legendary Heroes that I doubt will happen (also, power creep): Virion - Archest of Archers | Colorless Bow | Infantry Donnel - Village Legend | Blue Lance | Infantry Fir - Sword Master | Red Sword | Infantry Frederick - Legendary Knight | Blue Lance | Cavalry Palla - Whitewing Leader | Green Axe | Flying Genny - Storied Cleric | Colorless Staff | Infantry Arthur - Legendarily Unlucky | Green Axe | Infantry That's all I can manage for the moment! I agree with this entire sentence. Especially the bold part. Here's hoping Hrid doesn't go the way of Gunnthra... Well, he can join her in the Legendary Banner rotation, but don't you burn him, IntSys. And personally, I expect Ylgr to be the flier if the Nifl royals get one, while Hrid will be either Armored (to complete the move-type quartet) or Infantry (this dude gives me Ike vibes, and Ike is only Infantry, so...), though I'd be happy to have flying Hrid instead. As for Bruno, I feel like we won't get him until somewhere in Book III, hopefully with a better Vaskaljalf (with Vantage 3, and maybe some kind of Enemy-Phase-Only Desperation 3 or something unique like that), so we most likely won't see him until next year. Hrid could happen in August, but I feel like we'll get one of Alm, Tiki or Marth then instead, so maybe we'll see him toward the end of the year. Or who knows? Maybe Hrid will follow the path of Fjorm and we'll get him as a pretty-alright free unit, a Legendary unit, and a unit who doesn't die during the story!

I got Maribelle and Fly Girl Olivia on the same pull today! Maribelle's +ATK/-SPD, which would be annoying if she didn't have Genny-level ATK and access to Hone Cavalry to patch her still-pretty-alright SPD up. She does have both of those things though, so she's gonna be great. I also look forward to playing with Trilemma+. That looks like a fun little toy. Olivia is neutral, so I'm sure she'll be alright. I really wasn't expecting her, but having an extra flying dancer is gonna be great. Not 100% sold on Skuld, but I'll see what her stats are before I consider switching her sword out. Also got a whole buncha feathers, but really Maribelle was all I wanted from this banner (since there's no way IntSys will ever give us access to Wrathful or Dazzling Staff on a 4-Star unit, so I want her now while she's a focus unit), so between her, the surprise Olivia, and getting Sumia back when the banner dropped, I'm super happy. Saving up for the Legendary banner now, since I'm certain it will have Bold Lissa and I missed her back in Winter's Envoy.

@BoringBoi Nice legends. I'd pull for Berkut and Alm. A few nitpicks, though: 1) For Robin & Berkut: Their BSTs are too low. You could actually give Robin 3 more points and Berkut 1 more point, since BSTs have inflated now. Alm's fine though. 2) For Alm, why does Valentian Bow only have its effect against Swords, Lances, and Bows? That just strikes me as an odd combination. 2.5) Alm again, why does Shield of Legends not affect Staff users? It affects the other ranged weapons, so why not this one? 3) For Robin, is Divine Thoron's effect supposed to be like Brazen ATK/SPD? If so, why is it +5 instead of +7? 3.5) I don't like Tactical Ploy. +1 omni-Drive buff is underwhelming (Marth's Falchion refinement gives +2 to everything, so that's already been done), and giving Panic Ploy to a 32-HP unit just seems wrong. 4) For Berkut, he shouldn't have Wrath unless it's a special exclusive skill thing, since Wrath isn't allowed on cavalry and flying units... 4.5) And I don't especially want you to give him a special exclusive Wrath thing, because I quite like Nuibaba's Ward. Outside of those things... Yeah, I like these units. So, gonna just unpack a whole buncha heroes that've been bouncing about in my head for a while: First, a Sacred Stones banner & GHB unit (who I doubt will ever actually end up in Heroes, to be honest): Duessel - Obsidian | Green Axe | Cavalry Tethys - Beloved Dancer | Red Tome | Infantry Knoll - Darkness Watcher | Red Tome | Infantry Orson - Devoted Husband | Red Sword | Cavalry [Grand Hero Battle] Also, gonna take stabs in the dark at future sets for Hrid, Ylgr, Veronica, and Bruno: Hrid - Prince of Ice | Red Sword | Infantry Ylgr - Snow Princess | Colorless Staff | Flying Veronica - Emblian Princess | Green Tome | Infantry Bruno - Masked Knight | Blue Tome | Cavalry That's all I have for the moment. And I thought it was just a reflexive oh-shitballs reaction that all fliers have to wind magic. Or trying to foreshadow her weakness to wind magic for later in the game when you fight her.

I got Sumia on my free pull. +HP/-RES, so pretty much neutral. I'm happy, but still gonna shoot for Maribelle since we're getting an Orb influx soon.

@silveraura25 Nah, I thought that too at first. But he wasn't a Dancer in Fates, so I see why his regular version isn't one here either. Same with me, except I'm going Colorless > Blue. I want Maribelle, and Sumia would be fine by me as well.

I want Maribelle to be the demote, and just have Dazzling Staff 3 as her 5-Star skill. I know it's probably gonna be Libra, and I don't really mind that since at least he has a weapon that I want to give Anna, but still. Still waiting to pull 4-Star Sothe and Legault... So, definitely gonna try for Maribelle, if only because she'll be less likely to show up after this banner. Well, she'll be in the general pool, so you'll have a shot at her on every banner. She'll just be a pitybreaker most of the time, is all. Like Genny, but on a horse, and not as cute.

So, on the new refines that I'm sure many of us have been askring for for a while. I have opinions: Alfonse: Brazen ATK/DEF 3 is a big yes, great upgrade over just Defiant ATK 2, Triangle Adept 3... I don't like so much, but fortunately it's optional for him. If I give him this (which I most likely will), he's getting the DEF refinement and Brazen ATK/DEF off my spAres for maximum ATK/DEF. Sharena: My next 20k feathers are going to you. And my next 200 Divine Dew. Because I like Dull Everything & SPD/DEF Bond here, beats Threaten ATK 2 handily. Not sure how I should build her, but I want to now. Anna: Welp, she's getting a generic weapon. Sorry, but Newatun's effects don't do it for me like Folkvangr's (Brazen ATK/DEF only) and Fensalir's (both) do. I can appreciate Escape Route and Warp Powder are useful, but I don't feel like Anna improves especially much from them. So the Askrsiblings are getting their refinements with my next 400 Divine Dew (just gotta decide which one to do first... probably Alfonse, since I can more easily build him), and Anna... I'll let her keep Noatun until we get some new generic axes, then she's getting a replacement.

Oh, I see. That makes sense. Wouldn't that hurt the pegasus though? @Sunwoo I completely forgot about Bridal Ninian. I suppose that makes about as much sense as this...

I'm thinking Anna might like one) and I'm guessing he'll drop, Sumia interests me, and Olivia... She looks quite nice. Chill SPD & Guidance alone make me like her, and Skuld is pretty neat as well. Not sure how useful Bracing Stance will be on her, but eh. I'm gonna have to try Red/Colorless > Blue > Green. I know in my heart that this banner is bait, but I don't care. I want. Also, for the story chapter, we got our first look at Hrid... Doesn't look like he's doing too well. If he's the next legendary hero, he may be joining Gunnthra soon in two ways. BY WHICH I MEAN HE'S GONNA DIE One final thing: How does Olivia dance on a pegasus? Seriously, how does that work?

No, Libra's a guy. I played Awakening, I remember thinking he was a girl too, briefly. Also ASKRTRIOREFINEFINALLY So, Anna gets to warp at any HP range, Alfonse gets Brazen ATK/DEF on his weapon (YES) and optional Triangle Adept (meh), and Sharena's effects makes me want to 5-Star her.

Honestly, if we get Knoll now, I want him to have Raudhrserpent+ because IIRC dude had no SPD so he'd probably need Distant DEF Tome to be decent (plus I could toss it to Sophia... I want Raudhrserpent and Gronnserpent already). And I second Anacybele on wanting Duessel-themed CYL2 Ephraim with Garm... Though I also want Duessel/Amelia with Garm... Eh, I guess they can share.

I can see this maybe happening when Super Smash Bros Ultimate drops (and honestly it'd probably be a Nintendo-themed Seasonal banner instead), but outside of that, nah. I can't deny that I would like to see this, but I agree with Zangetsu, we need more FE characters before we consider characters from other franchises. Especially Binding Blade. I don't think anyone from Binding Blade has gotten in since... Sibling Bonds, when Klein got in?

Actually, Marth's secondary weapon was a Rapier, which IIRC did 4 hits and increased damage on weakpoint hits in Code Name S.T.E.A.M. The healing was his one-use special attack. And Lucina using a bow for her special in Warriors could've just been because Chrom could reclass to Archer, which meant that Lucina could always reclass to Archer regardless of her mom. Also because Chrom threw a javelin in his special, and they wanted to do something different for Lucina's while still doing something similar, so they went with the bow for her.

TAKUMI CAME HOME! AND HE'S +ATK/-DEF! SO HAPPY! Now I don't need to pull on A Sketchy Summer any more! I can save Orbs for whatever's coming Friday! Or the Legendary banner! Or August! Any of those!

So, today I decided to try tapping my Tiki amiibo to my iPhone while I summon to see if that would help me summon Beachside Scion Tiki. I got one on my last orb (and Adult!Tiki two tries before, which I guess counts?), so apparently it worked. She's +ATK (makes me happy) / -SPD (she's getting Quick Riposte and Hone Dragons, so I'm just happy it wasn't one of her defenses that got dropped), which I'm quite alright with.

I pulled a +RES/-SPD Ryoma on the new Summer banner. Nobody else worth noting just yet. The bane sucks, but I've got plenty of time to get a banner unit (and Ryoma still seems alright, even if I know he isn't as good as he could be).

I've had extraordinary good luck on the latest Legendary Banner. Yesterday, I pulled LA!Roy and F!Grima, and today I've pulled: A second Ares (+RES/-ATK, and I already have one so I don't need him, so yay! Brazen ATK/DEF fodder!) A second Vanguard Ike (+DEF/-RES, finally gonna give Warding Breath to someone else!) A second Elise (+RES/-ATK, but she was just gonna be merged into my +SPD/-HP one unless I pulled a +SPD/-DEF, so now I have +1 Elise!) 4 5-Stars in 4 sessions (1 per session). This banner has gone super well for me so far! Gonna wait and get my Orb stock back up, then maybe try for Tharja again.
