I'm glad you like my current sig/avatar. It actually is Fluttershy. I guess you knew due to the abundance of MLP artwork from Deviantart?

Yeah, I guess I am quite a huge MLP fan. Rarity's quite awesome, though I don't really like her tendency to get others to carry her huge loads of luggage and suitcases. Besides that, she's not as selfish as people make her out to be. So what order do you like the remaining six in? Rainbow Dash is my least favourite of the mane six, followed by Pinkie Pie, though I don't particularly dislike either. I just like the other 4 better.

Since I noticed you stopped by my profile, I thought I'd return the favour and say hi.
-
So would you be willing to give me some input for what pics I should use for my February/Valentine's Day sig/avatar?
-
It's good to see you active again. I hope college and job corps haven't been putting a damper on your mood.
-
To seriously answer your recent thread, I actually don't know. I know you really like joking around a lot. Well, perhaps making a sincere, thoughtful sentence/paragraph after your joke sentence/paragraph would help? At least, for threads that warrant it? I mean at least that way, people will know from the second half of the post that you're sincere, mean well, and that you care about the issue at hand.

It took me a lot longer than it should've to catch onto your name change. So how've you been? Also, who's your avatar?
-
Good to hear. Sickness really killed off my enjoyment of Christmas (especially with avoiding talking that day because of my sore throat and my sickness killing off my appetite so I wasn't able to enjoy the food everyone prepared), but I've been getting a lot better ever since. How was your Christmas?
-
Oh yeah, regarding your offer to face your R.O.B., I'll definitely take you up on it when you've got the time (since you said you'd be away from your Wii U for a week after Christmas). I've always wanted to face another skilled R.O.B. mainer and see how their tactics compare to mine.

And 6 mains with 5 of them being female? Heh, interesting. I don't really have any female mains. I would've had Rosalina as one, but her fighting style really clashes with mine in terms of her not being able to score low percent KOs easily, whether it's by edgeguarding or really hard hitting attacks.
-
It comes as at least a partial result of me just simply preferring to play as a female character in most cases. With the expanded choices in this Smash, the guys kind of got left by the side, though I do still sub Ike and Toon Link (and I guess Marth by default, since I main Lucina). R.O.B. was my surprise main, and only happened because he just felt really good and when I continued using him I started winning more and more :P.
-
I've never really quit using a main or a secondary between games, besides Falco in SSB4 (and I was one of the few that kept using Captain Falcon even in Brawl). I still use him, though not as frequently. I picked up on R.O.B. mainly because of his retro status, and how I really like how the Smash Bros. series gives spotlight and popularity to old Nintendo characters who'd never get it. Plus, I find robots to be really cool in general.

So how have the holidays been treating you?

Well, try practicing your speeches out loud by yourself first. Also, when you actually do your speech, try focusing on a spot in the background between two audience members' heads. That way, it'll look like you're still looking at the audience, but you won't get as nervous from everyone in the room. If your teacher wants you to shift your stare at different audience areas in order to distribute the attention you're giving to the audience, then just gaze at a space between...

between two different audience member's heads. Also, even if you're reading off a piece of paper for your speech, be sure to stare at the audience every now and then (or fake stare at them), since teachers will dock you marks for staring at your paper the whole time during a speech. I hope that helps.

So out of curiosity, who's your avatar? I keep thinking it's Edward from Final Fantasy IV, then I remember you've never played any games from the series before.

Oh yeah, I could've easily done that especially since you gave me the name. It still reminds me a lot of Edward though. Here's a pic of him: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Edward_Chris_von_Muir?file=GilbertDS.jpg

Since you asked about SSB4 Challenges, I actually have all the 3DS Challenges done except for the top right one on the 3rd page (getting all hats is a real nightmare). As for the Wii U, I think I'm at 115/140 or something.
-
For the 8 Cruel Smash KOs with Lucina Challenge, there's a Gamexplain video showing that by clinging to the right edge of battlefield, dropping and jumping in the corner and Dolphin Slashing, you can stay relatively safe and slowly deal damage to the Miis, eventually KOing some of them. As for hats, the RNG for new hats is supposedly really bad in both versions, especially in Classic Mode.

Weird question, but have I ever actually made a thread that you liked/tolerated?

I'm asking since I seem to make a lot of threads you find bad like the "sleeve as something else thread" (though I'll admit myself that one was bad). "pure-hearted members thread", "how many people do you think have you on ignore thread", and the "which SF members do you find are really good to talk to thread" to an extent.
-
You know, I've been looking back at our 17 page PM, and I realized we really should talk more often.
-
I still have to fight you in Smash Bros. some time. You really have my curiosity piqued regarding your skill level in Smash. The 3DS version would be more preferable to fight you in rather than the 3DS version, right? Also, would this Sunday (Nov. 30) be ideal to face you in Smash Bros.?

I have to say, trying to mentally prepare myself to fight you is kind of suspenseful (in a fun way), despite me knowing your mains and you knowing very few of mine (I purposely avoid revealing who my mains are in posts to get the edge on others when I face them). Then again, I did really overestimate Anacybele before facing her, when it turned out I was able to beat her in 3 of our 4 1-on-1's.

Seeing as you're an F-Zero fan, I'm wondering, what do you think of F-Zero Maximum Velocity? (ignoring the fact that it doesn't even feature the original 4 racers unless you count the Falcon Mk. II) I hardly ever hear F-Zero fans talk about it or even who they main (though Sly Joker and the Falcon MK. II are probably the most used due to them being easy to win with on higher difficulties)
-
It's a good game but it doesn't really do anything special. It was essentially a F-Zero 1.4 imo. The races dragged on too long which was a problem in the original but they didn't fix it in this version which is a problem especially for a portable racing game. I only put in about 4 hours of the game and sort of quit.
-
Ah, so you don't have much experience with Maximum Velocity. I was always curious why Maximum Velocity is usually always higher rated than GP Legends and Climax on gaming sites, especially when the latter two have a lot more vehicles, tracks, modes, and techniques available compared to Maximum Velocity. I guess you didn't really have a main in Maximum Velocity, huh?

How've you been? It's been a while since I've talked to you.

Since you have Captain Falcon as your avatar, I thought you might get a laugh out of this: http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii157/Kyudi/F-Cosby.png

Glad you liked it. That was actually something I made 9 years ago during the pre-Brawl era. I was inspired to make a bunch of Cosby spoofs of Nintendo games due to the joke support of Bill Cosby being playable in Brawl. Here's the rest of you want to see them: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40732
