Point Blank is a really profound change. Damage on Bows/Yumi are balanced around not being able to fight at melee range. Taking away that limitation is always going to be worth a skill slot IMO.

Jakob specifically mentions that Flora is one of Corrin's retainers in Revelation.

Garon suffers from the same problem Corrin does IMO. They make monumentally stupid decisions that their characters would not make solely to advance the plot. In that regard I don't take Garon seriously. But of the three I would say he's the worst but only because he makes no sense. Hans and Iago are caricatures and I couldn't care less about either. They're just plot devices.

1) I would re-write Conquest all together. Probably something along the lines of the big bad realizing that Corrin is a better proxy than Garon and moving Garon out of the picture early. Corrin goes full evil and true conquest ensues. That or I would just get rid of Conquest all together because its stupid. Move the wonderful maps to BR and/or Revelation. 2) Revelation would be a sequel story to Birthright not an alternate path. It would take place approximately 20 years after the events of BR or CQ. The characters will have aged from the late-teens, early 20s to the late 30s- early 40s. 3) I would rework the weapon system. Having higher level weapons have drawbacks is a nice idea until you realize forging Iron eliminates the need to bother with Steel, Silver and better weapons with drawbacks. 4) Hidden Truths would be integrated into the narrative. Perhaps as a transition between the initial paths and a Revelation sequel arc. The characters of Hidden Truths would not act like idiots upon encountering Corrin in the story. Especially Birthright. 5) I would make Dragonstones a ranged weapon like in Awakening. I would also change Corrin and Kana's dragon model to look more like you know who. 6) Corrin would not be able to romance any of his adopted or 'blood' siblings. His 'blood' siblings would actually be his blood relatives even if only cousins. 7) The kids would not be born until the Revelation sequel path, where they would have grown up in the interregnum between BR/CQ and Revelation. 8) I would not nerf so many of Awakening's weapons and skills while simultaneously allowing stuff like Warp, Replicate, Death Blow, and Point Blank to exist.

It doesn't matter overmuch, but I think the best route through the three stories is Birthright - Conquest - Revelations. That order makes the most sense in terms of revealing the overall plot.

With a Master Ninja, I usually don't use Vantage because it's rare that you wouldn't attack first anyway. As for Rend Heaven, nice proc skill, but IMO Dragon Fang is better even if its proc rate isn't as high. If you use Replicate, Sol is a good choice. Since Warp came into the game, however, I have preferred that to Replicate. It is possible to have Galeforce and Replicate so that you and your clone can both do two actions in a round. As for wife, Kana is pretty hard to screw up, so I would just go with whoever you want. Camilla has made a wonderful mom to Kana on one of my MCorrin files.

A rank 3 smithy can forge up to +7 weapons. But it can't be done in one transaction because you can't hold enough of the gem you need. To forge you need:Multiples of the same weapon; Gems that corresponds to that weapon. To get a +1 you need 2 of the same weapon, 4 for +2, 8 for +3, and it doubles all the way to 128 for +7. Outside of weapons with infinite stocks in the store, it is very difficult to go past +3, and for unique weapons it is impossible without hacking. Also the number of gems goes up as well, so much so that you can only make a +5 weapon in a single transaction. Also note that you need to forge from the convoy because characters can only hold 5 items.

That's true unless you pick Speed as your boon. Then you only lose 1 from the +4 mod, plus you get Ninjas absurd Speed. I tend to get a bit scared to recommend Defense as a bane given the RNG penchant for allowing 15% hit chances or lower to get through. :)

This is really important. That said some of the better match ups IMO, are cross country pairings.

That kinda depends on what you want to do with Kana. You mentioned having her use her dragonstone most of the time. That's a magic weapon and so with her dad's bane being magic, that will become her boon. That will also help her use staves if you stay Hoshido Noble with her. As for a mama, I don't tend to min/max the parents. Even on Lunatic/classic it doesn't matter that much. But if I had to pick, Felicia or Mozu wouldn't be that bad.

Slightly, female Corrin usually just starts bawling after a character dies in the story. Actually, there is little significant different in how men and women feel about things. Men are socialized to conceal their emotions, but that doesn't mean they don't feel them. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but should recognize that others might strongly care about these things.I'm a man by the way, and it's manifestly obvious that sexist attitudes towards women are responsible for some of the artistic decisions. Awakening for all its flaws didn't have as many inane things like this.

On this point, why does Female Corrin break into tears at every death while Male Corrin is stoic? Sexism is so silly.

No need to be disturbed, it's just good business. Why invite a controversy if you don't need to. Yes, it makes everything more vanilla, but vanilla sells. It's not even political either, both left and right groups have things they would rather not be in games. I'm still shocked NOA left in the same-sex relationships.

The main problem with playing Revelations first is that it makes the other two routes pointless in my opinion. It doesn't actually spoil that much it just makes it clear that you have taken the 'correct' route.

I started a Revelations Hard game with the intent to only use Ninja. I eventually stopped because it was boring as heck. I was tempted to do a Witch Coven run, but I suspect that would be just as silly as the ninja.

Anyone know anyway to get a legit version of Ms. Strober singing "Lost in Thoughts All Alone?" Itunes has a couple of covers but they're both pretty bad.
