  1. I dunno, there was one night in Vegas where I found it was possible. I never did find that pair of shoes, or those trousers. On a more relevant note, an actual cast for an FE fighting game would probably end up as a lot of lords of various games plus another representative. When I looked at the voting results for FE Heroes, it made me realise how many characters FE actually had!
  2. If only there were one easily accessible online!
  3. Thanks bro, but I was hoping to include him in a Harold themed DLC. It would include about six new characters, most of them Harold.
  4. There was some degree of irony in the mascot's words. As terrifying as the sentient piece of chicken was, Tarquin fully well knew that any of his caretakers wouldn't have let him close to a piece of fried chicken. However, Tarquin was now the one in control, and the chicken man's advice seemed to make sense. Fried chicken wasn't a topic that he was particularly familiar with, but surely the person inside the costume was far more familiar with it than himself? Scanning the options on the menu, the mascot's suggestions appeared to provide a better product-cost ratio... but at an increased base price. His funds were plentiful, and it wasn't like that the other option were that much more expensive. There were so many things to consider, did people just buy these things on a whim? Everyone ahead had chosen so quickly, and a queue was starting gather behind him. "Nikolai? I don't mind paying more for the other one." Tarquin announced, ensuring that his friend had some say in the matter. "The chicken person says it's good, that means people like it, right?" Looking around, he could see a few people at tables with a meal similar to the mascot's description. If it were popular on Earth, and had been good enough to bring to the colony, it was good enough for him.
  5. Chatterbox Mime A wave of relief passed over Graham, it did the young man some good to hear that most of his friends were safe. However, the news of his father's fate returned him to his usual glum demeanour. "Father was caught by Deira? It's my fault that he couldn't get away... if I hadn't caused Jeeves to die, maybe he could have helped him." he muttered, wiping his eyes. "Owen? Do you think he's still alive? They'd keep him hostage, right? I wish I could save him... but I've only ever let people down. Lionel's men all died because of me too... and I remember how much the surviving one cried..." The large man next to Graham had kept quiet the entire time, politely keeping his distance from the pair as they spoke. As frightening as he appeared to be, there was a gentleness in his eyes and expression. True Tales The song came to an end, the audience giving a disorganised round of applause. The band's leader gave a bow, grinning slyly as he caught a glimpse of Sidney. Standing himself up, he called out to the crowd. "Most kind, many thanks my good listeners." he announced, raising his hands into air. "That was a tale written by myself and my companions. We try to take inspiration from the happenings around us, crafting them into tales the ages will remember like the songs of old. Perhaps there might be some of you who have heard the story before it was even performed?" A short bald man gave Sidney a nudge, clapping away with the rest of the crowd. "Nobles have all sorts of strange habits, don't they, miss?" he laughed. "I bet regular people like us don't even have things half as interesting happen to us. A whole bunch of them started doing it a couple of months back... this guy's pretty good though, whoever he is!" Illusion Confusion The older wizard's eyes lit up, his hand nearly yanking his own beard from his face from surprise. "That has to be Morganna, there's no doubt about it. I taught her myself, she always had a knack for anything the other students found too difficult." he replied, nodding his head. "Ah yes, the history of illusion magic is an interesting topic. It is only in the last half century or so that it had gained momentum, although there were rumours the original founders of Wihtwar had a member who was adept in them. Magic itself is producing existence using an energy that is not visible to the eye. Illusion magic is merely sculpting that energy into a visible form within giving it tangibility. Of course, it is theoretically possible to give an illusion a physical presence, although from that point onwards it is no longer technically an illusion... yes, very interesting material. Pondering further, he continued to play with his beard, pacing from side to side quickly. "However, there is also the theory that an illusion may not be a false image at all, and mere a projection of a true concept given visible form." he continued, his words coming out faster than before. He stopped in his tracks, looking at Claire curiously. "Are you related to Morgan of Edion by any chance? You're the first person who has intrigued me with such questions. I am Tartus, I taught at the College until recently. My age has meant I couldn't keep up with my teaching schedule, but I still aid young scholars at my own leisure." Spectacular Spectating Ethel laughed, letting Adele and Cass depart. "Take care, I hope to see you both soon." she replied, waving as they left her study. Taking her book from the table, she mused to herself, still slyly confident in some matter or another. "Montana, was it?" she muttered quietly. "The name Charlotte comes to mind... I wonder why..." Cass and Adele hadn't gotten too much more trouble from the guards, the most they were brave enough for were a few snide looks. The arena though was a change of scenery, functionality had very much taken priority any semblance of aesthetics. As fate would have it, Cass and Adele had acquired seats right near the front of the stands, along with a few familiar faces. Alain, Esclabor and Nelon were all present, waiting for the combat to begin. Nelon bowed his head, giving a polite wave, but Esclabor appeared more lively in his greeting. "Princess, Lady Herman? Would you care to sit with us? The battles haven't started yet, but they should be good." Esclabor greeted, waving to the pair. "I believe the mercenary with us is taking part. He was telling me that he was going to win, time to see if you hired a champ or a chump, Lady Herman. I've seen him fight, but that's when he's got all of us about. I have to wonder if he has the composure for one on one battles." Locker Room Serge had been placed in a waiting room with the other combatants, a small rectangular room fitted with a collection of benches. He was able to recognise both Lilith and Shaggy, but there were a handful of other people that seemed somewhat familiar, likely from the guild. There was also the young man that had been present at the blacksmith, but he appeared to be talking to a tall foreigner with a turban wrapped around his head. Two men were covered in heavy cloaks, both at opposite corners of the room, sitting completely still and silently. The last invidual was a ginger man sat in the corner, Serge would have likely missed him if he hadn't paid much attention. "Do you need money that bad, Abdul?" the energetic fighter asked, his golden mane shaking from side to side. "I'd almost feel bad if I beat you, you need to try your best to get as far as possible!" The man with the turban, most likely to be Abdul laughed gently, crossing his arms. "Octon, your concern is much appreciated, but I shall return to my home country with my own will." Abdul replied. "To cross the plains of Magonsaete were no easy feat, and the vast desert to its south has claimed many travellers. I have faced hardship in coming here, I am willing to endure it again to return home."
  6. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy something second hand! Even if it's a little used, you can get some real use out of stuff. Disposable hand towels are just one example.
  7. I agree entirely, I've decided to take the existing roster that the OP presented and fix it up a little! Warning, the quality is a little iffy because I have the artistic ability of a spoon that has been left for a week in gravy.
  8. You Winner Esclabor gave Serge a firm nod. "I don't like losing, but I never go back on my word." Esclabor replied, looking at the determined mercenary. "Show me that you're not all talk, Lady Herman doesn't need a loudmouth with a soft sword, Serge." He watched Serge leave, almost impressed by his promise of victory. "He's an odd one, isn't he?" Esclabor remarked, crossing his arms as Serge left sight. "Thinking about it, he's no more important than farmers or drunkards. Yet he's prancing about the continent, fighting bandits alongside us nobles. Sir Alain, I can't say I understand how commoners think, but maybe they're not the mindless cattle that they seem to be." The man at the desk was well built, with multiple scars covering his muscular body. He looked down at Serge's pouch, then up at the man himself. "I see, yer an unknown fella, but yer seem confident enough." he replied, writing something down on a piece of parchment. "I put the odds at five to one. Winning this will net yer three grand total. That's if yer win that is." Composite Victory Ethel started counting on her fingers, making a mental note of the next few days. "Let's see... I'm cutting off a man's head tomorrow, and I need to assign a new Count the day after... I can certainly get things in motion after that." she replied, pleased with the girls' gratitude. "It's not a problem at all, Adeltrudis. It's not often that women are able to express themselves in modern society. Often I feel that we're expected to sit there and look pretty, but I like getting my own way. You girls should go have some fun. The continent is all doom and gloom recently, it would do you both well to enjoy Tytila for what it has." It took a few moments, but there appeared to be something that Ethel had wanted to add. "Well, there's one thing I was hoping you would be able to do for me." she added, smiling playfully. "Cassandra, I would very much like to meet with your brother. He was ever so polite in a formal setting, but I would like to get to know him as I have you in a more comfortable place. Sending a messenger would be too uptight and old fashioned, I would very much like to see him tomorrow evening... if your schedules were to permit of course."
  9. None of the links appear to work, which might make things difficult. A lot of the books are also in bad condition, the covers are creased and torn - your reading must be interesting! I think you'd be hard pressed to get much more than a couple of dollars for each book, especially with how beaten up they are. A lot of them are available for cheaper on Amazon!
  10. The Best Ethel laughed, stifling another yawn and huddling up in her armchair. "When you're Queen of such a big country, you can get away with a lot. I can be as mean as I like to my advisors and they just take it. They know it's more trouble to protest." she replied, content in her absolute power. "With enough confidence and a position of power, you can take what you want. People might not like you, but they don't need to. I'm in charge of country, not making friend with every peasant and servant around me." Leaning backwards, Ethel stared up at the ceiling, almost lost in her spiel. "Being pleasant and kind is good when you can afford to do it, but sometimes a smile doesn't cut it. Whether it's war or love, being soft and meek only works when people want to give you what you're after." she added, reaching her hand towards the ceiling. "It would take a lot more than a slightly unusual wedding to turn on me." Zoinks Shaggy's eyes slowly shifted between Alain and Serge, his fatigued gaze barly able to keep up with their conversation. Before the man could even open his mouth, Esclabor had stepped in front of him, giving Serge a rather sharp stare. "We've spent a lot of time travelling, Sanjay, but we're not friends. I'd normally have a few choice words for a commoner with such bad manners, but I don't feel like kicking a dog after he's lost a couple of his pups." he replied, his hand hovering above Shaggy's shoulder with some reluctance to touch it. "I'll bite though, I'll take your wager. I've got a thousand pieces that I'll throw. If you can get further than Shaggy, it's all yours... but don't expect my charity if it doesn't go your way." Stepping towards the entrance, Esclabor gestured for Shaggy to foolow him. "I'll see you in there, Sir Alain, but please, call me Thomas." he requested. "I need to make sure there's a seat for Ceirch too, he's going to be vital in ensuring Shaggy's victory." Silent Regret Graham's eyes widened as Owen approached, the prince's arrival was a massive surprise for him. Just as Owen had always known him, Graham appeared reluctant to speak, as if he could not find the words he wished to say. "Owen? Father sent me here to improve my confidence... but I don't think I've found any. It's been so hard being away from home, and now that home's in trouble, I don't know what to do any more." Graham looked down at the ground, his own mention of the invasion making his own mood plummet. "Is anyone else from home with you, Owen? I worry about everyone everyday. Father, Adele, Cassandra... Talmot and Morta... please tell me that some of them got out safe." Words and Nerds The old man was watching the crowd around him disapate, content with his performance. Wiping his brow, he'd spotted an armchair that certainly looked comfortable, but Claire had become an obstacle to his rest. Her question though was enough to keep standing, and to give a response to. "An excellent question, young lady. To channel said energy would require either an exceptional individual or external support. Be it natural talent or decades of dedication, I can only think of a handful of magic users who were able to use spells without the use of a tome of staff." he replied, stroking his beard casually. "It is thought perhaps embracing a higher power would allow one to manage such a feat, but that is mere speculation. There is not an invidivual who could be so atuned to Engel above to achieve something so potent."
  11. Faval is kinda scrubby because getting Ichieval, pairing his mother and recruiting him all cost turns. Ignoring those, he's really limited to being a bowlocked foot unit when Lester exists and can pretty much do anything he can with the Killer Bow. Ichieval means you're unlikely to get a bad Faval, but the lack of EP, being on foot and joining in the middle of the second gen means he's not really doing too much. He can probably blow up a few mooky enemies, but he's not likely to fighting anyone important. He's at least flexible, allowing you to focus a pairing on Patty. 3/10 Patty is really dependent on her dad. Briggid's growths are pretty awful and she has no skills, Patty's prepromotion life depends on her dad. Lex lets you cheese the arena with the Sleep Sword and she'll level super quick. She doesn't really have reliable combat until she promotes due to her sucky sword rank and no natural pursuit. However, the ability to give out dosh is pretty neat. When she does promote you're essentially left with an extra foot unit, and it's normally a while before she promotes. She's not winning any awards but she can at least act as piggy bank. 5/10 THE HITMAN is basically Faval but worse in almost every way imaginable. Ironically, his skill set and stats aren't bad but being Jamka in gen 2 is kinda lame. Sucks for pretty much the same reason Faval does, thanks foot bow unit. His special event is funny though. 1.5/10 Daisy is basically Patty gone horribly wrong. She's delicate and can't deal any damage. Getting her to promotion is a real drag and she's less able to share money out. She can't fight and doesn't really have anything to offer beyond sharing perhaps a few grand tops. She's worse than RODDLEBAD, which is a real achievement. 0.5/10
  12. Recent Novelty Ethel watched lazily as Adele gave her speech, waiting until she'd finished before replying. "I cannot imagine too many issues with such here in Raewald, the war with Deira has weakened Engel's word here. Enough so that my orders would be enough to break convention. Foreign nobility aren't held to as high a standard as our own, so I can't imagine there would be too much of an outcry. Especially if I were to give my blessings." she replied, her mind caught up with various matters. It seemed that she hadn't quite grasped the magnitude of the request, or simply deemed herself important enough to make its execution trivial. "I wonder if there would be a priest I could make do the ceremony? I can definitely think of a few... how soon would you be hoping to arrange a ceremony? If war does break out, I'm afraid I would have to make that a priority." Head to head to head Lilith didnt' appear particularly impressed by Serge, reluctantly taking his hand to shake it. "Keep your luck, Serge. The arena isn't like fighting in the field. One on one, the more skilled fighter wins... and I've got a well dressed noble to entertain." she retorting, giving him a smug smirk. "I wouldn't go as far as killing you in the arena, but I'll be sure to make you roll over for me." Taking her hand back, Lilith turned and placed herself at Alain's side, standing confidently with her benefactor. However, Serge and Alain were not the only members of their group to visit the Colleseum. Esclabor was approaching them, with a particularly dishevelled man walking along with him. Esclabor's fighter appeared to be some sort of homeless man, unshaven and dressed in tatters. The smell of alcohol was very much surrounding him, enough for Esclabor to visibly take a step away from him. "Gentlemen, I see I wasn't the only one with the idea to try and find some money." Esclabor announced, his deadbeat accomplice standing there gormlessly. "I was tempted to enter myself, but I figured it'd reflect better on us if I found my own contender. He's not exactly fresh, but I know a champion when I see one. Nothing against your woman, Sir Alain or yourself, Steven, but my man Shaggy has victory in his sights. Dinner too if he earns enough!" Sing me a song The song continued as Sidney forced her way forwards, the next verse had begun almost as she entered the crowd. "At his request, such trouble she stirred No voices of reason were spoken or heard Her heart desired excitement, pleasure and lust She gave it to the devil, his words she did trust Her antics continued, her trouble prolonged She cared not for her victims, or any she wronged Without remorse or a care of their pain She took what she wanted again and again" Their main singer was relatively well dressed, a stylish young man with bright green hair and a fringe covering half his face. A name or a family would have been hard to place, but his tone and the air about him at least hinted somewhat of nobility.
  13. Queen of Hearts The guards didn't make any comments on the pair. However, there were definitely glances behind them, possibly even a smug smirk or two. Maids and servants littered the corridors, perhaps almost reminiscent of Hull Castle. It didn't take long to reach Queen Ethel's study, and the guards were more than happy to let Cass and Adele get to it. It took a moment or two for Ethel to respond to Cass, there was the definite sound of books being placed onto a shelf. Following the heavy thump, the door eased open, with Ethel gesturing for the pair to enter the room. "Good evening, girls. I was doing a little light reading. I was trained at Wihtwar many years ago, and I try to keep my knowledge contemporary... even if I never use it." she explained, stepping back into the room. "Do take a seat, being able to sit and talk is a luxury very much available to us." There were a trio of armchairs, all surrounding a circular table. For a study that supposedly was used by royalty, it was relatively modest in its decor. The room itself wasn't particularly large, its walls dominated by shelves. Cosy and warm, the gentle smell of parchment was very much present in the air. Sitting herself down on one of the chairs, Ethel stretched herself back, assuming a far more casual position. "I've made sure nobody will bother us, it will be just be us girls... that's how you both prefer it, am I right?" she chuckled, her gaze filled with a confident satisfaction." Party in Raewald The streets of Tytila were still very busy, even compared to the market during the day. Many of the stalls had shut, their owners returning to their homes, but there was a gathering in the central square. The gentle tones of a lute and the steady pounding of a drum very much suggested there was at least some sort of performance. It was difficult to see, but a trio of young men were at the heart of it, performing a song that perhaps echoed a familiar topic. "Wild, wild, young and free The daughter of a noble, as rich as can be Life at the top, without worry or woe Bored and quite restless, troubles peasants don't know Lady by daytime, temptress by night Morals and goodness, hidden from the light Swifted away by a charming young man A devil with a mask on, a dark masterplan..." The crowd around were listening intently, the pauses between verses only drawing in more people. Squeezing to the front would take some effort, but there definitely a few gaps that Sidney could send herself through. Magical Meeting Tytila's Mage's Guild was a whole league above Hull's own, most likely due to the proximity of Raewald to Wihtwar. The hall was easily the size of Hull's throne room, with towering shelves dominating every wall. Unusual table and runes filled the floorspace, along with the dozens of spellcasters that had gathered. The young man at the welcome desk gave Claire a polite wave, welcoming a fellow magic user to the establishment. The plethora of conversations in the hall meant there was a great deal of background noise. It was difficult to focus in on many of them, but one older gentleman appeared to be explaining a concept to a small group. "It is foolish to believe that our existence is the only one that there is." he began, his long white beard swishing from side to side. "However, this is only a theoretical level. To move an object or person between two physical places in the same plane takes considerable energy. It is also unknown where said item is present after its disappearance and before its reappearance. Perhaps we are all intrinsically tied to this world? A question that many scholars have attempted to answer, but none have been able to explore." Mage's Guild mooks revealed! We are Number One Hans and Lars said nothing, and didn't appear too bothered. Either their trust in the leader was sufficient to not mind or they'd long accepted that being paid was incredibly unlikely. "Just make sure that yer don't get too roughed up, boss." Lars replied, reaching to his own belt. Looking at Hans, the other axe brother shook his head. "We'd give you some dosh if we could, maybe yer could make bigger bets, but we ain't got much... or anything really." Larissa had remained quiet for much of the afternoon, but she stepped forward, giving the trio a confident grin. "I'll see what I can manage." she added, running her hands through her hair. "I'm sure there's a number of fools out there with more money than sense. One night in Tytila might be quite profitable." Date Club The Colleseum was thankfull relatively far from the slums, arena fights had come more popular in the last few years - and many nobles were willing to make bets on any of the lowlifes they could con into fighting for them. There were definitely a few familiar faces among the Raewaldean nobility entering the stone structure. However, there was also another familiar face. Lilith was ready and waiting at the entrance, fully kitted out in leather armour with her sword at her belt. Giving him a wave, she approached the scholar, very much ready for combat. "How good of you to show, a true gentleman." she laughed, putting her hand on her sword's hilt. "The showing looks pretty shoddy. Some nutjob killed most of the decent fighters a few weeks back, so it'll be easy pickings." Surprising Reunion The Academy was a collection of buildings not too far from the castle itself. Tall, large and regal, there was no doubt that quality of education was at the very least well funded. The solitary guard at the door allowed Owen passage, either from orders he'd been given or simply recognising the young prince. Inside, it appeared most of the students had returned to their quarters, but there was one young man training in a centre ring against what could only be described as Baleros' stunt double. The smaller man thrusted a wooden spear at the giant, only to have his attempts blocked with a training axe. "Graham, you try good but... need focus." the giant lectured, knocking him back effortlessly. The man's face was thick and coarse. Not innately repulsive but by no means remotely attractive. "If you against big enemy like Thwomp, you need to use brains to find opening. Force won't work." Iron Wall Despite the crowds outside in the streets, the armoury had been mostly vacated, but the store owner was at least present inside. The one armed clerk leaned forwards, looking at Freya from head to toe. "Yer look like a lass than can handle some hefty gear..." he began, the candlelight reflecting from his bald head. "It really depends on what yer looking to do. Gets to a point where the armour just gets too bulky to move right. If yer confident that you can just block anything coming yer way, that's fine. Might be a little harder to be swift with any strikes though, better to make what you can do count."
  14. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm probably going to try to expand it with advice on how to deal with stuff whilst playing, but a counterpart GM info thing could be interesting as well. With respect to setting, I'm fairly flexible, I'd much rather the RP was engaging than a particular setting. I'm not so much of a fan of canon settings, both as a player and GM due to how to can occasionally stifle creative liberty with stuff. I find medieval fantasy and sci-fi both have a great deal of scope and flexibility but both rely heavily on establishing the world and various magical/scientific systems. I've had ideas for things set in a zombie apocalypse and the Wild West, but those were mostly ideas on the drawing board. I was part of a game set in the L5R world, but that required learning a lot about fake feudal Japan.
  15. Staff XP is pretty limited in FE7, considering that they can get around 11 or 12 XP a turn if they heal at best - and FE7's generally easy enough to not require huge amounts of healing. They're also in direct competition with each other for XP, so unless they both healing every turn, you're stretching the XP that's available to them. I wouldn't worry too much, promotion doesn't really let them do much more than fight badly so they're more than happy to just stay as they are. Promoted staff XP is also worse. Promote whoever you feel would benefit from it most. If they're both functional, pick whoever, but if Kent's struggling, promotion might make him more useful.
  16. Competitive battling consisted of the same dozen or so pokemon, Tauros actually used to be good. I still remember catching all 151 Pokemon about a month before Gold and Silver came out, finding out there were another 100 to go was rather demotivating!
  17. Thought I'd share something that I've been working on for a little while, it's less a hard and fast set of rules to abide by, but I thought it'd be interesting to try and compile some sort of beginner's guide for RP. I'm more than willing to hear any complaints or criticisms, I was hoping it could stimulate some discussion! Link to document!
  18. With the departure of Marcus from the cast, there are still two slots open in the RP. The main page has been updated to include relevant information and a brief overview of the plot.
  19. Arthur is pretty much Azel and Levin combined until he promotes, where he then joins Celice, Aless and Leaf in the legion of doom. Enemies have ass for res, and he's got a few viable dads. He works well with Holsety but he's more than functional with someone like Azel as his dad. His only problem is that he's kinda squishy early on and is kinda bad at moving, but they get fixed to some extent. 8/10 Tinny is basically a straight up improvement of her mother, and she's got some staff utility too. She's never going to be a killing machine or a rescue staffer (unless you made her dad Claude, then it's gg Arthur), but she's got enough flexibility to fight, avoid being status staffed and lugging around some staves of her own. 6.5/10 Amid has a butt for a face and decent stats but his sucky promotion makes him inferior to both Arthur and his sister. He gets Adept anyway on promotion and unless you're doing a draft, there's likely to be someone who wants the pursuit ring more. However, he does come with a B in Wind, but I think it's a while before an Elwind pops up. At the end of the day, he's basically a magical Badney. 3/10 Linda is kinda weird, but she's one of the more passable subs. She can use Thoron from the get go and Elite really helps her otherwise lackluster combat by giving her levels. She's really frail though, and the lack of pursuit means that she's more of a staffbot than a dedicated fighter. Still, you could do worse. 5/10
  20. Tarquin wasn't entirely sure why Nikolai laughed, he couldn't have imagined that his past had been particularly amusing. However, he did recall exerpts from his ventures into psychology, laughing when one had something troubling to say was not a good sign. Nikolai's story had Tarquin's full attention, he'd never had a family of his own or anyone he cared particularly about - other than the Professor. He had disliked leaving the facility, but he had full knowledge that the Professor was still there in good health. Was his history of turmoil the reason Nikolai was so unusual? Tarquin was not fantastically familiar with European history, but it sounded very much like Nikolai had been caught up in several conflicts. Death was still a very scary word for Tarquin. He'd never seen anyone die before, or even known anyone who had died, the concept was far more daunting when it applied to someone within his social sphere. Admittedly, previously his social circle had been relatively small, if not completely non-existent, but things had certainly changed for him since he'd boarded the Heion Riese. Maybe not feeling anything was better than feeling sad, but wouldn't it be worse to not feel good at all? Tarquin had remembered fondly the praise he'd received for his high test scores, how thrilled the Professor had been when Tarquin had succeeded... maybe there was something in Nikolai's life that could counter the suffering? "It can be different, Nikolai." Tarquin replied, stepping forward as the line progressed. "You don't have to live like that any more. I don't want to die, so I'll make sure that I stay alive... I hope you do too." Tarquin's reply to Nikolai's sombre tale was interrupted by the cashier's call for the pair - they had finally reached the front of the queue. A bored woman probably in her early twenties with short brown hair and an unstylish uniform, she was the poster girl for a unsatifying dead-end job. The two children in front of her hardly made things any better. "Your order?" she asked, waiting impatiently for the pair. Through all their conversation, they had made no progress in deciding what they wanted. "I... well..." Tarquin began, looking carefully up at the menu. All of the chicken had such strange names. "Perhaps two of the Turbo Chicken Meal?" Tarquin looked over at Nikolai, checking to see if he had any protests. There was no telling if either of them would enjoy the meal, but it was the best they could go by. Despite all his intelligence and ability, Tarquin had realised one thing. Ordering chicken was hard.
