  1. Likely hyperbole, but it's not exactly the best of the holy weapons considering the others you get access to. There's not much that the Killer Bow can't achieve with its innate critical and its 100 accuracy compared to the Ichieval. Both of them will murder anything that flies, and Faval isn't often going to be killing bosses for you. If anything the hit deficit means he might have a hard time hitting some bosses.
  2. Tarquin quickly departed from the canteen, still trying to make sense of the emergency meeting. All that came to mind was a sudden change in orders or priority, but even then it was beyond him what could have possibly occured. As he approached the lifts, he could see one of them was in use - no doubt the other crew members were also responding to the XO's summoning. It wasn't a problem, it was a simple matter to press the button and await another. Prodding said button gently, Tarquin awaited the appearance of a free lift. He hadn't really faced much of the crew since their debrief, he'd spent most of the previous day with Nikolai. If it were anything like the last meeting, he'd have a lot to deal with. Thankfully, he hadn't done anything this time, so he could avoid attention fairly easily. Speaking of which, perhaps Nikolai would benefit from being present? Tarquin wasn't exactly sure if he counted as crew, but he was on the ship nonetheless. He'd have sent a message to him if he could, but he wasn't listed as a possible contact. One of the lifts had arrived, opening up for Tarquin to step inside. He'd be left with a few minutes to think things over, as well as prepare himself for the return to military life. The single day had been his first break since his birth, and it was still very fresh in his mind. - Sweeping the hallway between the two laboratories, as well as listening to his portable radio, Bill had been very much disturbed by the broadcast's interruption. At first, he'd assumed it was interference, it was unlike his favourite station to cut out through a song from Femme Fatale. However, the message from Apotheosis was far more troubling. "Well I'll be a chicken who found a lemon in her nest..." he muttered, having heard the command from the XO. Whilst it would have been interesting to hear what the plan was, he wasn't exactly classified to attend such a meeting. Letting out a laugh, Bill figured that it would be best to leave it to the pilots and engineering teams. "No point asking the cabin boy to fix the mast!"
  3. Too Convincing The guards seemed sceptical of Constance's story, it wasn't something either of them had been relayed. "She looks pretty old to be a doctor, she's gotta be older than my mother." the stern guard muttered, his colleague leaning in to listen. The other guard appeared far more accepting though, thinking quite the opposite. "Maybe that's why she's so old! She must know how to look after herself." he replied, giving his partner a nudge. "The Prince is rich enough to hire all sorts, even his own jester complete with a bear cub." Defeated by the audacity of it, the two guards stepped to the side, allowing Constance passage into the palace. United Hans and Lars looked at Serge, both of them with the same confident expression. "Pay us when things are a little quieter, boss. We don't got no plans to disappear any time soon, get the other stuff you need to sort done first." Lars replied, ushering his brother back to their quarters. "Just don't be too hard on yourself, none of us coulda stopped that from happening to her." Larissa waited for the two brothers to leave, looking back at Serge before starting to make her own exit. "Commander... I'm not sure if we'll be able to take Emily with us, it might be safer if she stays in Tytila." she added in, pausing for a brief moment. Retrieving a small pouch from her satchel, she offered it to Serge. "I only managed to gather five hundred, but it's better than nothing." Slipping past Alain, Larissa retired to one of the rooms, leaving the diplomat with Serge. No 'Arm Done The blacksmith looked at Freya carefully, his eyes drifting down back towards the spear she'd selected. "You ain't one of the city guards, but yer hold that thing with the respect it deserves. You in the army?" he asked, counting Freya's gold out casually. "Better to be properly armed before goin' to war. Things are gonna get ugly with Deira any day now... all sorts of rumours and stories from my military pals. Wouldn't be surprised if they were half way through Myrcia right now." Freya buys a Javelin for 650G! Javelin goes to convoy!
  4. Dew spends his first two chapters not doing very much, but he's really good at baiting the Cross Knights. A trained Dew makes chapter 4 a lot easier, and he's a pretty swanky dad!
  5. "I am a moose, all alone in a room, eating walnuts."
  6. I'm assuming you haven't played any of Marth's games, don't worry, he is!

Shall we get to work?" Offensive Skill Quotes: "Time to throw a spanner in the works!" "Lift at the knees, the knees!" "Let's do this!"
  8. There's a whole host of things I could say, but this probably sums it up the best. If one finds themselves getting into arguments, it's normally more about attitude than their beliefs.
  9. Self Discount Constance's trick caused the coins to glimmer, the lackluster funds immediately producing a facade suitable for her intent. Pete was totally fooled, collecting the coins in his hand and gesturing over to the scroll with a toothless grin. "All yers, miss. I hope yer enjoy using it... fer that thing that it does!" Dropping the coins into a small sack, the chances were that he would be none the wiser until he counted up his earnings - by then Constance would be long gone. "Pleasure doin' business, miss." he added, giving her a friendly wave. "If yer need something sorted and don't mind a little tomfoolery, I'm yer man." Constance purchases the Provoke Scroll for 300G? Lost Heaven "I beg my leave then, Mr Molenli." Sebastian replied, not visibly sympathetic to Serge's state of mind. He didn't say anything else to Serge, but there were subtle hints in his expression that he were trying to figure something out for himself. Hans and Lars looked as Serge approached, although chose not to speak as he called out to Larissa. It took a few moments before there was any audible response. The sound of weary footsteps echoed from behind the door, eventually ended by the opening of the door itself. Larissa looked terrible, her eyes were bloodshot and her face was pale. "Commander?" she yawned, running a hand through her ruffled hair. "A lot happened last night... and I don't think it's good at all. Emily isn't herself at all." she lamented, gently closing the door behind her. "I keep trying to reach her, but she gets so confused by what I say to her. She doesn't remember any of our time together, I'm not sure if she remembers much of who she was before... whatever's happening, she's losing herself. I don't know what we can do to help her... at this rate." Larissa put her hands to her face, burying herself from view. Hans and Lars looked down solemnly, both of them very much aware of the situation.
  10. The previous day had been a unique experience for Tarquin. It hadn't been what he'd expected at all, although he couldn't deny he'd at least enjoyed parts of it. He'd had a lot to think about after meeting Mr Mario. Was his future his own? His past certainly hadn't been, but perhaps there was scope for him in years to come. There was also Nikolai, the more he tried to understand the young man, the more questions that there were to ask. He'd learned that people were a lot more complicated than he thought, Despite his lack of knowledge, he couldn't deny that he'd had a good time although it had taken a lot of energy out of him. Whilst awake early in the morning, Tarquin had never been one for television. He neither had access to it, nor an interest in it during his childhood. The XO's announcement had caught him in the canteen, halfway through breakfast. Was she planning another mutiny? It sounded too urgent for that, and it was unlikely that she'd make another attempt at grabbing power so soon. Whatever it was, it sounded important. It wasn't attack protocol, which made things far more unsettling. Tarquin was, by his own admission, terrible at expecting what people would say, but this time around he was certain it was not good news.
  11. It's been three months, why haven't you sent for help yet? In fiction, accent's generally more about portraying a character than being specific to a region. For some bizarre reason, the US generally associates Received Pronunciation, aka the British accent to Americans, fun fact there's literally dozens more, with nobility or high status. Tiki being the super special snowflake magic dragon pretty much fits with that. It's how in anime the Kansai regional dialect becomes the Brooklyn accent, it makes the character seem far more rough and unsophisticated for the viewers. Either that or Brooklyn really is that bad!
  12. Actually, I believe what you are experiencing is not hatred, but pure love instead. Whilst these feelings can be hard to understand, with time you will be able to embrace them and be true to yourself. I'd recommend purchasing a Kellam body pillow to accelerate this.
  13. Who's Emily? It appeared that Serge wasn't going to have long to sit down, Sebastian was standing a couple of feet away from the couch. Either he'd been there and kept quiet or recently arrived himself - it was often rather difficult to tell with the butler. Sebastian himself appeared relatively comfortable, although it was likely part of his job was not letting tiredness show. "Good Morning, Mister Molenli. Would it be correct to say you did not sleep well, or is this how you usually look in the mornings?" Sebastian asked, keeping his tone formal throughout his greeting. "Miss Larissa is currently with Lady Edion, they're both currently awake. I am uncertain that the vial has worked as we had hoped, Lady Edion appears far more scattered than usual... there were multiple instances where she was unable to recall information. It also seems that she is incapable of retaining anything to do with yourself, she cannot even remember your meeting with her yesterday. I fear you may need to make a decision about her continued employment and any care she may need." Senior Discount Pete leaned over halfheartedly, before realising what Constance had picked up. "Oh, that thing? Normally I'd be selling something like that for a grand and a half, but yer seem nice... I'll make it a grand if yer interested, miss. It's a fancy little thing right there, does... uh, plenty of things." he replied, returning to a pile of paper on his desk. "I did have someone lookin' to buy it, but if yer that keen on it, I'd rather let you have it instead of waiting around."
  14. Play all of 4 then go on to 5. The plot to Thracia is more supplementary than anything else, you don't really gain anything from playing it in the middle. The pairings suggested by that guide are fine, you won't really run into trouble using them. They're pretty fool-proof, although it never hurts to experiment a little!
  15. That's because only clown pants will fit you. I generally dislike hot weather, so I'll wear shorts when I can get away with it. I actually wore them last Christmas!
  16. I'd pick cereal. Mostly because a lifetime of pizza would decrease said lifetime's duration, resulting in less pizza and a worse deal. Unless it were Fruit Loops, a lifetime of anything's better than having to eat those!
  17. I was going to say send Rapier as a representation of our site's activity, but I'm cool with Paper.
  18. I promote whenever I feel like it, normally when I need a little extra for the current map or to get access to another weapon type like staves. Promoting a few levels early doesn't hurt too much in the long run, and sometimes having a promoted unit a little earlier can make life a little easier.
  19. Musically, I like Join Us the best, although I much prefer the FE4 rendition. Its section in Smash 4's recruitment medley strikes me as fairly powerful, but I can't say any of the theme are bad. Comrades and Together We Ride are pretty good, although I can't say that FE9/10's theme is particularly memorable - I actually had to go find it on youtube to try and remember it!
  20. I believe he does indeed. I also believe that he's part of a sentient underground race of reptiles looking to conquer the world through the use of funky fresh beats. It's a campaign that started back in the 70's, but now they're making a lot of progress. If I mysterious disappear, you know I've been silenced.
  21. Best; 3 pts - Geneaology 2 pts - GLORY TO THRACIA 1 pt - Path of Radiance Worst; 3 pts - Radiant Dawn 2 pts - New Mystery of the Emblem 1 pt - Awakening
