  1. Yee, Lute. Also, quick question, is this Fates Anna (Outlaw) or Awakening Anna (Trickster, dropped down to Thief to be a base class)?
  2. Going by the suggestions in the original thread, it seems it's supposed to be Celica.
  3. I can't help but feel like this belongs in the Forum Games board, judging by the vague description of what's happening, but for what it's worth, here's my army, lifted from the games I've actually played.
  4. Yeah, it's pretty clear Roy won't be getting into Fates, with how long it's been since the release of the game and the amiibo. I was more so referring to future FE/general IS games when I said that. (I dunno, I'm surprised they weren't announced at E3 alongside the new Mario and Zelda amiibo.) And yeah, that is a bit of conundrum with the FE line, with FE's cast of characters changing almost every game. I feel like an FE line would probably focus on the Lords of the series, as well as possibly some other more important supporting characters, but they'd definitely need to be utilised properly. I'd rather have a few amiibo utilised well than a whole bunch of amiibo utilised poorly.
  5. Sorry if a thread like this has already been done, but I couldn't see any recent ones. Also sorry if this should be in the Fates board, but I thought it fit better here. What do you guys think of the Fire Emblem amiibo, and how they've been used? Personally, I don't have Codename S.T.E.A.M. so I can't really comment on how they're used in that game, but I've enjoyed their use in Fates so far. I mean, I haven't really used any of the units after recruiting them, save for Robin a few times in Birthright, but it was still pretty cool seeing these characters come to life and getting to fight them. I do kinda hope IS continues to use these amiibo, if only because I'd like to see the Roy and (when it eventually gets released) Corrin amiibo see some use as well. On a related note, if IS does continue to use the FE amiibo, what would you think about Fire Emblem getting its own amiibo line, and what charaters would you want to see as part of it?
  6. Considering the Wii U seems to be practically dead at this point, I doubt it'll be that. I would kinda like to see a home console FE title for the NX, but I feel like they'd probably stick with the 3DS. It already had a pretty large user base, they already have two games made for the system that they can build on, and they know all the fans of Awakening and Fates already have one. It just seems like the safer option.
  7. *gasp* Sons of aching blood, and prankster daughters? That was meee in a Awakening! Welcome to the forums, dude.
  8. That's pretty good for a first attempt. Although with the way Tethys' braid is positioned, I feel like it should probably be behind the shoulder rather than in front of it. Maybe that's just me though, I don't know too much about FE spriting either.
  9. I choose mermaid. Yeah, I won't be able to save the human race if I don't choose the fish face on legs, but I choose companionship over procreation.
  10. I eat corn in a circle. I wonder what that says about me. This is completely inaccurate.
  11. They're the closest things I play to fighting games. There, happy?
  12. Smash Bros and Pokken are the only fighting games I play.
  13. Pffft, Dancer Innes. I would so draw fanart of that if it didn't take me ages to draw anything.
  14. It sorta depends on the chapter itself and how many times I need to reset, but I know there have been time where I've thought "I can probably finish one more chapter before bed." only to still be there an hour later, only just finishing up the chapter.
  15. So, I've been thinking about this for a little while now, and I was wondering what other people think. Music is a very important thing in a video game to me. I can still enjoy a game without good music, and often do, but it's much easier for me to enjoy a game when the music is good, partially because I can "rock out" while playing, and have the music still in my head while not playing. That said, I'm no musician myself, and definitely wouldn't be capable of breaking down certain songs and analysing what makes them good. Now, I haven't played too much of the Fire Emblem series yet, but so far, I've found the music in the GBA titles to be much better than that of the 3DS titles, or at the very least, more memorable. For Awakening (which I've played through twice), I can remember Conquest and bits of Id Purpose, and for Fates (which I've played through Birthright, and part of Conquest) I remember Lost In Thoughts All Alone and parts of one of the chapter themes I don't know the name of. Whereas for Sacred Stones (of which I've only played through Eirika's route), I can remember off the top of my head Comrades, Attack, Healing, Shops and Armories, and Preparing to Advance. Rekka no Ken I have even less experience with, having not even finished Eliwood's story yet, but I can still remember Strike, Together We Ride, and Winning Road, although that may be due to their use in Smash Bros. Over all, I'd probably say Comrades is my favourite song thus far in the Fire Emblem series, although I'm not sure where it would stand in my gaming experience as a whole. So, I'd like to hear from you guys what your experiences have been with music in the series. What are some of your favourite songs in Fire Emblem games? Do you think certain games have better soundtracks than others? Do you ignore the music entirely? I'm curious to see what you guys think.
  16. I tend to go with personality over stats. I often like to keep my units all around the same level in the early game, before deciding which units I like better and focusing on them. That said, I always play on the easiest difficulty option available, so I guess stats wouldn't be as important for my playthroughs.
  17. I chose Cleric/Mage for first tier, and Sage for second. Even in a world like that of the Fire Emblem series, I'm not sure I could bring myself to kill someone, and if I had to, I'd want to do it from afar with magic so I don't have to be up close and see them die.
  18. I mean, I already introduced myself over on the introduction subforum. I was just trying to be funny with all the "Goodbye SF" topics floating around. Comedy isn't my strong suit.
  19. Goodbyes are for chumps. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.
  20. Oh my lord, these are hilarious. Although, I can't help but notice that Scarlet's head is in front of the Automaton's bow, while Camilla's head is behind it. Was that intentional? Because there seems to be a blank pixel that appears whenever Scarlet's headband moves.
  21. I would have given Donnel the cavalier class or something, so he gets to still use lances after reclassing. Knights use lances too, but I feel it wouldn't fit him as well.
  22. I reckon the birthday would either have been just given to Morgan, or they would have made a child for Say'ri. She seems like the most logical choice to me.
  23. Indeed it does. I've learned to embrace the addiction, while doing my best to not let it get in the way of other things
