  1. Generic Hero: I seriously thought you were a playable character, you look amazing! Ditto for Master Ninja, I love those guys' design
  2. Binding Blade It's probably a tie between ambush spawns, and unbalanced units in HM. I don't even hate Arcadia that much, but the "surprises" the game throws at you when you don't know are infuriating. Honorable mention goes to Gaiden with their ridiculously slow animations.
  3. Fire Emblem 7. It has some cool magic users. Pent, Canas and Lucius
  4. Hana: You are not as fun as Hinata, nor as good as Ryoma. Benched. Oboro: I can't really add anything to what most people have said here. She's a pretty good a character and an amazing unit from the get go, you can't really get any better than that. 10/10 in my book. Anna: I like the "concept" of the paywall behind her, but not the application. Her support with the avatar annoy me anyways.
  5. -I don't like mounted units for a very childish reason. I don't consider them to look cool enough. -The FE6 Knights have a very small niche in some maps that require choking. At least Bors. -I despise Cavalier because they feel extremely generic. Paladins are "okay". -I like FE4 gigantic maps, even if it forced mounted favoritism. -Fliers are boring. Except maybe the Wyvern. -FE2 is one of my favorites.
  6. Obviously there's no way that there's an objective "perfect" game, but if we're talking about a game that suits my tastes almost perfectly... It has to be Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. This game was one of my most hyped games since they announced it, since I loved PMD2 and PMD1 (GoI... eh.) and I was really looking forward to have another epic adventure just as good as those two, especially like the second game. Little did I know that I was going to love it more than any other game I have ever played. Everything just clicked with me perfectly. The characters worked, the emotions were there, the personalities of many characters got me, the soundtrack was phenomenal, the gameplay was even better, the game was more challenging, the story... oh god the story was amazing! The moment I finished the game, I was 100% sure about it: PSMD was my favorite game of all time, and I doubt that will change any time soon. This game surpassed a lot of games that I considered fantastic. It surpassed even my old favorite game of all time (Earthbound) with ease! The games DOES have it's objective flaws however. It's still a RNG dungeon simulator, the pacing can be rather unstable (slow at first, super fast later on) and it doesn't leave you take a break from the main story until you beat it... but all those details meant nothing to me, since the positives I had with the game were just too good. Not a perfect game, but certainly one that clicked with me.
  7. Why is this even a thing. Konami, you already killed many franchise I love, why continue? I have no hope for the game, but I won't write it off as bad inmediatly. I'll give a chance if I can even though it doesn't look promising.
  8. Kaden: I don't have a lot of things to say about him. I like him quite a lot, but I don't find him that interesting. He's an awesome unit too. Keaton: His gimmick bores me. An awesome unit too. Arete: Another perfect example of Revelations' plot being terrible. Why should I feel bad for killing you?
  9. There are many characters that look so fun to play, but I think I would probably stick to my 012 favorites: -Barts: Favorite FF game and his new play style is oure gold. -Kefka: Mad Mage, and my favorite villain. -Warrior of the Light: The only real defensive character I like. I also love FF1 -Kain: Honestly, Dragoons are just cool. And he has one of the manliest VA
  10. Veterans: Gilgamesh. He has one of the funniest gameplays back in 012. Newcomers: I still want Vivi to be our definitive version of a Black Mage
  11. Rinkah: ...eh. I'm not the biggest fan of the "I hate you but I actually love you" characters, and as a unit, she's not precisely good either. Ignatius: I like him, another Knight is always welcome in my team. I like the relationship he has with most characters and how in his paralogue he's shown to have some kind of bravery by protecting the town against the odds. Pretty nice overall for a child. Garon: I think most people know why he sucks at this point, so I'm just leaving this.
  12. Sorceress in the Dark, from the Binding Blade. This is probably one of the main reasons I love FE6 more than any other game. In the close second place, it would probably be a three way tie between A Dark Fall Alight Road Taken
  13. It seems like we share some opinions eh? Also, I'm on the train of 8 not being that much of a great game... I don't know why, but 7 and 8 (and to some extend, 3) were the games that I wasn't able to hit the sweetspot quite fondly as the others.
  14. Beruka: Edge/10 although she did have some interesting supports. Percy: Pit/10, which is a big positive.
  15. Kiragi: "WAR IS HECK!". For some reason I love that line... but anyways, Kiragi. I really enjoy this guy, he's so optimistic and happy, always looking on the bright side of things with his smile. He reminds me a lot of a friend I have irl, so extra points for that. As a unit, he was pretty good, since I don't like using his father even if he's amazing, Kiragi was a nice option even if he wasn't as amazing because no Fujin Yumi, but it worked out anyway. Forrest: I thought I was going to hate him from the time I heard his gimmick, because it was REALLY easy to screw up... But they didn't, and I'm so glad for that. Forrest certainly feels like an actual character that has a passion for it's style, and it's something completely understandable. His relationship with Leo is also nice, since they get closer in a pretty nice manner and in the end, Leo understands how things are and it's super cute. I used him as a staff bot however, so I can't say a lot of him as a unit. (He worked in the staff department tho)
  16. I don't mind random encounters, but being able to see enemies helps you out a lot, and it creates a certainly interesting interaction between the player and the enemies. Things like the advantage gained while catching an enemy from the back in Earthbound, or getting an extra bonus in Mario & Luigi are some of the best examples I can think of.
  17. I would love if they add the characters from 012 AND add some new ones from the games they have only 1 or 2. I really want Vivi to be a thing in Dissidia.
  18. Bartz changedhis role entirely to represent FFV better. While the Mimic class was a cool concept and such, the big thing that V had was his class system being much more polished compared to the one in III, so it's new moveset represents that much better. Also, Blue Magic hype
  19. This. This is love at first glance. I'm SO looking forward to this game. I might buy a PS4 if they officially announce it in there. I played so much Dissidia 012, and I'm extremely hyped for this one
  20. Because I don't like ninjas in the media. Wether it be movies or videogames, they are not something I like at all. On the other hand, Ninjas in Fates are nowhere near as fancy as Thieves. Anyway, onto the characters. Shiro: Awesome unit. He was one of my favorites since his starting class is one which I love. He was both an awesome heavy hitter and a useful Rally Bot. Character wise, I'm okay with him, he reminds me of Ike in a possitive manner. Siegbert: I like how he tries hard to be worthy of his title, but I don't know if having Xander as your main inspiration is a good idea, especially when you consider the horribly unoriginal name he gave him. Haven't used him enough as a unit.
  21. FE2: Force FE4: Sety FE5: Ronan FE6: Gonzales FE7: Lucius FE8: Ewan (Chaman) FE9: Boyd FE10: Tibarn FE11: Wolf FE12: Radd FE13: Gaius FE14: Izana
  22. Xander: There's nothing I can really add to what othe people have said. The character is just awful in the story, and nice in supports. Asugi: Ok so let me be clear. I'm not the biggest fan of Awakening's cast, but Gaius was one of my favorite characters, even my favorite I would say. His class being my favorite in the FE franchise and his personailty were awesome. But Asugi... he's another story. He feels so uninteresting! I know that Gaius wasn't deep or anything, but Asugi feels extremely redundant since he's thinking about sweets every damn second. It reaches a point where it just gets annoying. And he's a ninja. One of my least favorite classes in Fates because they replaced Thiefs (yes I'm salty about that). No-no.
  23. Mostly from FE6 since it's the last one I finished. Lot- He's pretty thoughtful and considerate to be a Fighter really, I feel like he could be a Knight or a Cleric when you consider his gentle personality. Lugh- He could become a Monk considering how kind he is, and it would be a better contrast to his brother. Clarine- Considering how brave and aggresive she can be, I feel like she could have worked out as a Mage. Dorothy- I would have loved her becoming a Cleric considering that's her dream. Noah- Considering how much of a fan he is a about the Sword Saint, it would have made sense. Treck- This guy's personality screams being a Knight. Slow but powerful. Oujay- Considering how bland he is, he could have fitted the role of a Cavalier nicely. Echidna- Considering her affinity to axes and such, maybe she could have also been the very first female Warrior. Cecilia- She's supposed to be the Mage general, she could have reclassed to all other magic lines. Garret- Considering he actively wanted to stop being a bandit, why not become a Hero instead? Hugh- Maybe follow the path of her grandma and become a Shaman? That's all I got.
  24. Setsuna: She's funny... and that's about it. I cannot consider her a real character since her gimmick is extremely limited. Soleil: I'm overall neutral to her. I do like her design though. Reina: Another good character that got screwed by the power of Corrinsexuals.
