  1. Today is not the day to talk about Odin tho. Leo: My favorite royal. He feels like an actual character and the concept of "living in someone else's shadow" works with him wonderfully. His way of speaking and his supports are awesome too. As a unit he's... alright I guess. Brynhildr is probably the weakest of all the personal weapons, but it's still nice, just not Fujin Yumi levels of power. And the chapter when you fight him in Birthright is downright pathetic, which makes me really sad. But considering I prioritize personality, he still is my favorite. Hayato: A Ricken that's not as painfully annoying as Ricken, but still is a pretty good mage (A class which I love). Sign me in.
  2. Jakob: He's mean spirited to almost anyone, annoying, not one of the best units... Yet I love him for some reason. His personality is just really fun for me, and while sometimes he can cross the line, I still find him to be an enjoyable character which I want to have in my party. As a unit, he's alright. Butler is one of my favorite classes in Fates though, so he was in almost every fight he could. Effie: I loved her at first, she was a Knight and I love that class, her personality was fun and she was a real powerhouse. But then... as time moved on, I started getting bored of her. Her personality was not really interesting at all and the jokes were to predictable after a certain point. Not to mention that she compites against one of my favorite characters in Conquest. Still though, as a unit she was amazing.
  3. This is mostly based in personality. Lord: Ephraim (FE8) Thief: Sothe (FE9) Mechanist: Yukimura (FE14) Manakete: Fae (FE6) Dark Mage/Chaman: Raigh (FE6) Sage: Saleh (FE8) Paladin: Jerrot (FE6) Archer: Wolt (FE6) Pegasus Knight: Subaki (FE14) Knight: Gilliam (FE8) Pirate: Geese (FE6) Brigand: Gonzales (FE6) Fighter: Boyd (FE9) Mage: Soren (FE9) Monk: Lucius (FE7) Wyvern Rider: Zeiss (FE6) Cleric: Moulder the Boulder (FE8)
  4. I'll wait for the challenge to end if it is possible before joining, I can wait for that.
  5. Hmmm... considering the situation, I suppose I'll change Cless' starting point to Ursentius, that would give me a reason as of to why join their team, since they want to travel to a different region (which is something that catches Cless' attention)
  6. I have no problem on moving him in whatever place it is of the continent, I'll edit that to be ambigous so I'm free to move him wherever you need to for him to be recruited. I'll also add some slight details there (Like his theme and... I don't know if anythig else)
  7. Alrighty then! Name: Cless Eyvolt Nickname: Mist Gender: Male Age: 21 Class: Thief Affinity: Wind Weapon Proficiency: Axes Weapon of Choice: He's used to wield hatchets from some jobs he has done, but he doesn't mind that a lot. Occupation: Wanderer Appearance: Nature/Disposition: Calm and thoughtful. Can be rather slow when it comes down to understanding simple things, but he gives his all whenever someone he likes needs him. Sucks at being subtle. Hometown: Algaera, Rex-Avaz Connections: His family in Algaera, which consist of his father, Mond Eyvolt, and mother, Lina Detti. A lot of people also know him because he worked for them, but most of them just have faint memories of him since he left rather quickly Backstory: Cless was a always shy, but smart and with a good heart. His life consisted in him doing things to help his father in the shop they had, and he was happy while doing so. His childhood is something he treasures fondly, and always thinks about those times. As he grew, he started developing a lot of curiosity about the world, and he wanted to understand a lot of things for a "secret plan" that he hadn't told to anybody. At the age of 18, he parted from it's home and started traveling different locations of the continent. It was a risky life, since he had to live sometimes in terrible conditions, all by himself, but he pulled through it, everything to "make his secret plan true". At his age of 21, he's travelling through the continent of Ursium, nearby the city of Ursentius. Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OEgZY8-yhA Team ZeRo!... oh wait. Eh, I'm fine with any of the two teams really. Aaaaand that's it for now. For some reason I feel like there's going to be something wrong about what I wrote, but I'll change it the moment you tell me so. Also: his "secret plan" is just a childish dream he has, nothing of epic proportions or sorts~
  8. So... Hello? I'm rather interested in this RP, but from what I'm reading, it's currently waiting for an update. Can I post some of the basic stuff here in the meantime? (Obviously not the stats and such)
  9. Okay, time to add some more in here about my favorite Blue Bomber. First of all Batter really added a lot of info into that's necessary to know when you play Mega Man, but there are some things that I would like to add. First, it's playstyle. Mega Man is certainly a defensive character, but unlike many others, he can mix-up his defensive playstyle quite a lot, or even go ahead and take somewhat of a more aggresive approach, all thanks to his almighty lemons! FTilt>FTilt>NAir it's an option that you have to get used to do consistently, since knocking the opponent far away with the NAir and making him lose stage control is a huge thing. There's also the fact that I see a lot of people say "Mega Man can't kill easily", and that's a lie. Mega Man has a lot of kill setups and options, but the thing is, they are very hard to pull off, and require a lot of practice to use. Take a look at Kamemushi's traditional kill setup against tall characters (Footstool>ZDrop>Footstool>Lock>Shoryuken). It's certainly difficult to do, but remember, he does it against a Shek landing with a BAir, a move which recovers very fast. That should clear out how effective the setup is. A lot of Mega Man potential comes from his usage of lemons. You don't simply mash A and throw them without any reason, they need a lot of thought and creativity while using them. Mixing up the ammount you throw, and in which way (Jab>NAir>Jab is VERY differentr to Jab>FTilt) it's what makes or breaks Mega Man. I would love to add some more, but writing in cell phone is tiresome, so I'll leave some extra random tips: -If Crash Bomb latches on your opponent and he tries approaching you and shielding, start charging a DSmash. If they shield it, the combinated will either poke through the shield, or even break it. It'll force your opponent to think more about it's options. -Rush Coil to Air Shooter is not true. Very few people fall into that, and even of they do, it's not very likely they'll fall twice. -Speaking of Rush Coil, try landing with a NAir after you use it, that way you don't have to suffer through it's landing lag. -Air Shooter eats shield alive. Try practicing SH>UAir>FF as fast as you can, it will destroy an opponents shields if he's over you in a platform. -Shoryuken has frames on intangibility (MM can't be damage). If you can react to a move spaced badly, you can risk using it for a quick early kill! That's all I've got for now. Thanks for reading!
  10. Niles: At first, I wasn't so sure about what to think of him. He looked too edgy and annoying, but the way he talked was interesting, so I gave him a chance... and I'm really glad I did. Personality wise, he's really awesome and it feels like it's one of the more interesting characters to read hid supports (I love how weird his supports are with Setsuna). Unit wise, he became one of my better units, dodging like crazy and being the awesome archer I like having on my team (Unlike some other pineapple head...). Overall, a unit I really liked. Felicia: I'm overall neutral to her as a character. Her being clumsy as a character can get a little bit boring, but some of the jokes made laugh a good ammount in her supports. As a unit however... Actually it was around the same. Her trashy strenght meant that she could barely scratch enenies with normal weapons, but with the Flame Shuriken she became a lot more useful, although I still find Jakob to be better. Overall... eh, it's fine. Edit: Grammar in cell phone it's hard.
  11. So, I'm playing through FE Gaiden and it's been rather fun (although I have just started), but I'm rather curious about promoting in this game. Since (from what I know) when you promote, you only gain bonuses to reach your new class' bases: Is it a good idea to early promote in this game? I'm not really used to early promoting (I tend to reach level 20 before doing so), but it looks like it might be a good idea to do it for this game. I would love to hear some opinions, thanks!
  12. Haven't played FE12 so no comments about that one, but I really liked the overall story of FE11. I think it's overall it's really charming and fun. Simple stories can really help a game since a complicated plot-line can easily get out of hand, but that just doesn't happen in FE11. It's certainly nothing special either compared to other RPGs storylines, but it's something I can enjoy overall.
  13. Tsubaki: He is probably one of my favorite character in BR, and certainly one of my most used. His personality is something I really enjoy and he's certainly interesting as a unit. Can't talk a lot about Hinoka since I barely used her, but I did find her to be rather... dull, at best.
  14. I love Roy so I gave him my vote. Not as a unit tho, he's terrible at it. But his character is what I like since he's pretty simple, yet somehow more enjoyable than the rest. There's also my bias since Awkward Zombie's best comics make fun of him so I just gotta love him. As a unit however... I gotta say it's a draw between Ephraim and Hector, since both of them kick ass heavily and use a different weapon unlike every single other Lord.
