  1. Nintendo of America's twitter has been posting the little character blurbs too. For Edelgard, it says:

    Quote

    Edelgard is the imperial princess in #FireEmblem: Three Houses, heir to the throne of the Adrestian Empire and house leader of the Black Eagles. She has a dignified, high-minded, solemn air about her, and she coolly evaluates her surroundings and those around her before she acts.

    So pretty much the same as the JP twitter. Unfortunately, we don't get any voiced clips, which is a shame.

    Hopefully we do. On May 10th, FE Heroes will add some new characters and if they are from Three Houses, they'll want to tell us more about them beforehand.

    Yeah, I kinda doubt they're going to add Three Houses characters to Heroes this far before the game releases. Maybe right when the game releases or a few weeks after, but definitely not in May.

  3. Too soon to tell. If marriage is still in (and it probably is, but hopefully w/o kids) I would hope that they'd build on Fates and include more available same-sex relationships, not remove them entirely. Like, at least one gay option per gender per house.

    My big, unlikely hope is that there'll be a cool butch lesbian character in the game even if there aren't any romantic supports.

    The classes that we saw Edelgard could change into in the previous trailer are likely the tier 3 classes (With tier 1 being noble commoner and tier 2 the other 4). You can likely change into any tier 3 class from any tier 2 class, but being a certain tier 2 class will probably make it easier. My guesses:

    Myrmidon -> Mercenary or Thief

    Soldier -> Knight or Cavalier

    Fighter -> Brigand or Archer (Fits with the axe and bow specialty)

    Monk -> Mage or priest

    Though cavalier may just require you to get a c rank with a sword, lance, or axe and riding. Flying units are probably similar.

    So here's a screenshot of the weapon shop, and there appear to be more spears than swords available (Maybe because you joined the Blue Lions?). Some of the weapons are also greyed out, which I don't really get because you have more than enough gold to purchase them. Some weapons also have the same name as another weapon on the list, except with ten more uses and a 3 in the second category. Does anyone know what the second category says?

  6. Good stuff. Also, we got a name for the blue-haired guy in the Golden Deer (I think someone in another thread said his name was Lorenz?) and we can see really small character portraits for the two girls we saw in the trailer. Now we just need to see the starting characters in Dimitri's group.

    Also, I remember Edelgard having more than four basic classes to reclass into, so I guess you can just keep a character in their base class until you unlock the more advanced classes if you want to? Or the trailer we saw wasn't indicative of the final game.

  7. The updates might not be weekly. We'll certainly be getting lots more updates from Famitsu,  but I don't think the article specifically said new info would be coming every week.  I think there was a bit of confusion as the magazine is called Weekly Famitsu.

  8. Actually reading through the article with the preview, it says that in addition to explaining the story, the setting, and the main characters,  it will go over the combat and academy parts of the game. Additionally, there will be more information on the game in future issues.

    Might be hopeful thinking, but with the game releasing in July, it would seem wise to make Three Houses' E3 coverage substantial. Might be part of the reason. And we do have an expo coming up.

    Oh yeah, I completely forgot about FE Expo. That's in less than three weeks! Hopefully there'll at least be a new trailer. By E3 the game should be finished, so maybe there'll even be a demo for people to play?

  10. It's now been over two months since we got our last batch of information with the February direct. We have 101 days to go until the release of the game, so there's still plenty of time for them to give us more info, but it still feels really weird to know so little about the game so far. To be fair, I think Fates had about 77 days between the first trailer and the next, so this isn't exactly unusual.

    (I realize that I'm not counting the 5 seconds of trailer footage or the cover reveal, but they don't really tell us anything new about the game.)
