  1. The Fire Emblem is always something important to the plot that the player and main characters find out about midway through the story. I would like to see it be the reason the main character goes on an adventure for, like the one piece in One Piece.
  2. I’m not worried at all. The game looks amazing in the trailer and I feel it can only get better. I don’t have a problem with the avatar or free roaming. Character designs and other visuals look good so far. I can’t say I’m excited for it though, as there are other things on my mind right now.
  3. I see what you mean, Garon’s majestic beard is the only one in Fates. It might just be a Fates thing though, the men in Fates aren’t manly enough. Hopefully three houses will bring back the manly beards.
  4. I would put Corrin in Radiant Dawn so that he/she can see what dragons are supposed to look like. Also what world building is.
  5. It would never happen, but Assassin’s Creed x Fire Emblem I would love to play as everyone’s favorite assassin, Jaffar, in an Assassin’s Creed like game.
  6. I’m gonna go with Jaffar. I like his character development in the story. Although I think he can be both good and bad. Good in a casual play through but bad for a ranked run.
  7. Every time Corrin cries in Fates, and all of the forced deaths. Like when Mikoto, Lilith, and Flora all die.
  8. I started playing Fire Emblem in 2003 when fe7 released. I was 8 years old at the time. I saw it in Walmart and I thought the box art looked cool so I had my grandmother buy it for me. I absolutely loved it and played it everywhere I went, it was perfect for car rides. I’ve played every Fire Emblem game as they were released since then.
  9. The characters were the worst part for me. The villains are boring and too one dimensional. I like the royals, but they are focused on too much. I don’t like how every royal has two retainers, I wish there was a little more diversity.
  10. I predict a Blazing Blade traditional route. Each of the three lords will get their own mode with subtle changes and different difficulties. Edelgard will have the shortest and easiest. Dimitri will be the middle ground. Claude will have the hardest and have a few extra chapters. However the basic story will remain the same throughout.
  11. The scene with the robot thing in the trailer is indoors, and I am positive that is an actual map, not a cutscene.
  12. No, I don't think this will be a "choose your path" kind of game again. A lot of things shown in the trailer are showing me that Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are all in an academy of sorts together and during that time that realize that the church is up to no good so they decide to join forces to fight together "one path" against the church and save the world from corrupt nobles, politicians, priests, and ultimately a god.
  13. I agree with what you're saying. I would also like to add that the church seems to hold a lot of power over the continent and it seems that their soldiers are stationed in the castle the green haired dude is running around in. This tells me that the church is occupying many of the noble houses in the land and trying to gain the crests. Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are all together in or around that castle and that's when they notice what the church is doing. Then they start a rebellion against the church.
  14. I agree with everything you said, but I would like to add some of my own thoughts. First I want to note that the sword-whip the old guy is using in one scene is the same sword the queen lady is holding in another scene. So some things don't add up here. How is the sword in the old guy's hands one second and in the queen's hands in another? My answer is that before the game's setting, the queen and old guy were at war, the old guy loses and the queen gains possession of the sword. So in the early game the queen holds a lot of power over the continent. Because looking back at the reveal trailers for Awakening and Fates, they mostly show scenes from opening cutscenes and the early game. So I think that the cutscenes shown in the trailer are part of the opening cutscene for the game. Thus really focusing on the story and the world through events in the past.
  15. I want to see good armor knights. I would like to see lots of beast people like the laguz but I doubt that will happen. I hope wyvern units return.
  16. I think that you have to gather all the crests, place them in a bigger crest which would be called the Fire Emblem, and then a giant dragon emerges from them all and grants you three wishes. Then Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude each wish for a new house. Hence the name Three Houses.
  17. No way, IS will get some serious backlash if they try that. Like it's been said Switch games are expensive and three of them would cost a fortune, especially if some fans don't have a Switch yet. I doubt that they will try it again almost twice in a row. They could have turned Echoes into two separate games but they didn't. Also from the trailer this seems to only have one story, no alternate realities like in Fates. I am hoping this will either be like FE7 with a story mode for each of the three lords. Or like in Radiant Dawn where you switch between factions. Or even like in FE8 where you choose who to go with for a few chapters and then regroup towards the end.
  18. Yes, I'll play anything Fire Emblem related. Could probably even make two versions like in Pokemon. Something like (Fire Emblem: Let's Go To War) and (Fire Emblem: Let's Go Make Some Babies). Cater both sides of the fanbase.
  19. I first saw Roy and Marth in Smash, and Roy was my favorite character to play as, but I didn't really know what Fire Emblem was. Then I was at walmart with my grandparents and I was looking at the video games and I saw Blazing Blade. As a 7 year old boy I thought the sword and axe on the box art was cool looking so I asked my grandma to buy it for me and she did. Then I played it and really enjoyed it. It was my favorite game to play during long car rides.
  20. Yes, reclassing should return, and I have no doubts that it will return. I like it because it adds a lot of replayability to Fates and Awakening. It also gives me the option to use my favorite units in different ways and make other certain units more useful. I really don't think this is a unit identity issue as it gives the player so many options to make the game more enjoyable. And of course this feature is completely optional, you can keep units in their original classes if you want to.
  21. Pale Flower of Darkness in FE7 is my most hated map in that game. The snow mechanics are awful making the chapter drag on. It's a defeat all, with way too many reinforcements making the chapter drag on. Unlocking all the doors to kill all the enemies makes the chapter drag on.
  22. I don't know if you're including bosses in this, but if you are, and you just want raw numbers, then Grima on Lunatic has a stat total of 429. That is the highest stat total of any character in Fire Emblem that I am aware of.
  23. Absolutely, voice acting adds so much charm to a game. It also makes me a lot more invested in the characters and story, because it helps bring out so much more emotion than for me to just read the text on the screen. I would at least want all the lines in the main story to be voiced. Supports and other conversations don't have to be because it could be pricey.
  24. I agree with everyone else, the training tower still has its uses. And I even prefer to train my units in the tower than the training maps. I'll gladly take the free orbs from the training maps though. The re-roll feature in the tower helps me train my units the most effectively.
