  1. That's a problem of Heroes' stat system, unfortunately. Everyone is limited to their class's BST, so the only difference in stats is distribution. This helps people with excellent distributions (Lucina, Hana, Hector etc.), but hurts the 'well-rounded' units like Saizo, who're amazing in part because of their amazing stat total. (Saizo has great bases and, I believe, the best stat growth in all of Fates.) This is why, for example, RD Ike will probably turn out to be better than PoR Ike, even though Ike in PoR was utterly ridiculous, and RD Ike is, well, still amazing---dem bases---but with lackluster growths. (R.I.P Spd and Res.)

  3. Well, rank based feather rewards is already a pretty big incentive to vote for the underdogs. And a voting gauntlet that makes voting for the losers more profitable than the winners is just : /
  4. I wouldn't say breaking 4.2k with only Linde as a 'high-tier' is casual. ; ) I doubt I'd be able to make it that high myself if I didn't have my team full of S-tiers to carry my ass. (Seriously, good job.)
  5. Dancers are Red and Blue, Roy is Red, a strong Blue has better BST than the blue-dancers and kills them easily, and triangle-advantage vs. Roy & Olivia. Edit: Ninjaed.
  6. 100,001 is standard no-rank, rank. As a side note, 100 flags wasn't enough to secure a ranking in Camilla army on my off accounts. (Main got a safe 4.5k from dumping everything---very safe, since I didn't even use Camilla for half my flags---so that's 2600 feathers.)
  7. You can multi-dancer, yes. Such a team folds like a deck of cards against anyone with a decent blue sweeper, though.

Personally I change the name away from Kiran on any account I care about. 2 reasons, really: 1, It shows that you cared enough to actually change your name, something a surprisingly large amount of people don't. Edit: A few people are like you, of course, and either like the name enough or prefer not to change from the default name, but we can't tell intent behind a screen. 2, The point of a name is for other people to use them, so something unique or at least distinctive is usually helpful. This is pretty much why I always get an avatar up on an image board ASAP, so people can tell who you are easily.
  9. Strictly speaking, +Atk is the better boon, slightly, and -Res is the better bane. (-Def causes Nino to get 1HKO'd by certain units she'd 1 round otherwise). That said, the boons are comparable enough that I'd also vote for the +Spd/-Res option. Edit: You can also use this handy calculator to test boon/bane combos with the One vs. All option. It doesn't factor in inheritance in the One vs. All mode, but it gives you a decent base to work from. https://rocketmo.github.io/feh-damage-calc/

I guess what I meant was that: If I had wanted to use Navarre, I would've dumped L&D 3 on him (by promoting a Hana all the way to 5*) and just casually grind his way to level 40 5* before he's a bonus unit. I might've mistaken your intentions though---maybe you only wanted him trained up for use as a bonus unit, rather than keeping him on the roster long term? His stat spread actually isn't bad at all, not Hana or Lucina tier, but it's perfectly serviceable. Probably more serviceable than Selena, at any rate. : /
  11. Yeah, that's what I meant. Do tell me how many feathers you manage to grab with your wait till finals strategy, though. I'm going to dump everything every round and we can compare notes, feather wise.
  12. IRRC they changed the feather rewards for the final round to be only 1k more @ the highest rank level for the final level, compared to other rounds. I think they have a list in the announcement board. Edit: Yeah, I just checked. Rank rewards are same round 1 & 2, and for the last round, you get 1k more feathers for the same rank if you're above 30k in rank.
  13. Hana is a free unit, and Desperation is already on him? : / I mean, I'd understand if you were saving feathers, but orbs aren't an issue for L&D.
  14. I just run my offense team, and I get a few wins every season. Then again, my Offense team has Klein, Azura, and Minerva, each of whom can seriously fuck up a run. (Klein 2HKOs a lot of people, Minerva flies, is bulky, and is fast and strong enough to 1 round most blues---blues she can easily reach considering she flies---and, of course, Azura is a counter to the typical red* while also having dance for either a surprise axe or pair of arrows to the face.) Alone they're all pretty good at ending runs, together, and I imagine it's more than a little troublesome. (You try to snipe Minerva with Takumi or something and Klein walks up to one round, you mess up positioning and Azura dances a threat and you lose a guy.) *Things like Lucina with a decent skill-set can brute force through her, of course, but Klein makes glass-cannon swords regret being born.
  15. ...Do you only look at boobs when you look at a girl? Camilla has a good figure even outside her 'assets,' long flowing hair tends to be attractive to a lot of people, and her face is also good.
  16. I imagine Navarre wants to be trained up like Desperation Lucina. Grab a dancer and someone to nuke blues, and then just have him sweep teams off the back of high speed & atk (if you're using Navarre and DON'T have the L&D and Desperation combo going... get it going already---early promote and farm the low level stratums if you have to). You only need enough bulk to tank one hit, everyone else you 2HKO off the back of desperation.
  17. If you don't care about character design at all, Camilla would be a clear favorite. She's more or less the Ha'ar of conquest, if Ha'ar joined at the same time as Volug and stayed in your party for the entire game. As a unit she has basically no weaknesses, high growths, absurd bases, great class options, and even a low internal level to abuse those growths AND get skills sooner (the level 15 skills are worth a damn lot). If you DO care about character design, then yeah, she's gaudy, but you can't really say the design is bad per se. She isn't unattractive, if anything, she's too attractive---and she knows it. A lot of people hate her for that, I suppose, but it's rather logical to think that attractive people attract people to them. Personally I don't care about her design, so I like her based on purely pragmatic reasons---good unit, both in conquest and heroes. Worse here since Minerva is her, but better, but being a budget-Minerva is still a damn good place to be.
  18. For real, I would've went Ha'ar if he had been in this gauntlet. RD had just the right difficulty curve to make all your great units feel AMAZING at the end, when they're stomping everything, and Ha'ar was Ha'ar the whole time he's around. Conquest's difficulty doesn't do that since it's a much more linear increase---it's a better design for a game, I guess, but it lacks the 'reward' factor of having the units you babied (or not babied---Haar, Shinon, Titania etc.) stomping everything in the late game.
  19. Killer Bows exist (and are terrible, just run Klein---or feed a Gordin to Takumi\Jeroge). But yeah, I don't think there are any 'killer' tomes. Maybe a future dark mage will carry one.
  20. I mean, Lyn already uses the set fine with her innate desperation & defiant combo. (Just add brash assault and you won't even need to worry about speed calculations.) I... think Hana can run the set decently? If you pull a +Atk\+Spd boon and give her desperation her high offenses mean that she doesn't need the special slot to secure KOs. (She KOs 94 units with Brave+, L&D, and +Atk boon, 95 with +Spd). Her main downside is that she's so tissue paper that Vantage hard-counters her---a lot of people can 1HKO her, and that's not a place you want to be. Lucina has almost identical offenses and way better bulk, but you don't have her. (Plus it's harder to secure good IVs for Lucina.)

If you don't run Swordbreaker a L&D Lucina with Desperation will one round your ass through TA 3 if she has a proc up (even a Moonbow proc is enough to KO) +Atk variants won't even need Moonbow unless you're +Def yourself. That said, dangerous swords like that usually get 1HKO'd by Nowi, so it's fine as long as you remember to face-tank them earlier rather than later (better to eat 1 Falchion hit rather than a desperation double).
  22. @Arthur97 +Atk/-Hp is actually nearly optimal. (+Atk/-Res is optimal, -Hp/-Def causes Nino to get 1 shot in some match-ups), +Spd variants actually lose 1RKOs compared to +Atk until you get hone attack 3 on Nino, by which point they 1RKO an equal number. However, with Hone Attack 2 (Erika/Ephraim weapons) and Hone Speed 3, +Atk once more pushes ahead. (Not that it matters, even +Spd 1RKOs about 97 characters at that point). Mind, I did these numbers based on a L&D 3 Nino, so it might be different before L&D.
  23. Michalis can go stomp anyway. That's the good thing about training highly defensive units like him, Triangle disadvantage doesn't mean anything if he takes single digit damage anyway due to absurd bulk.
