With Pharae down, it's on to topple Ostia now. I'm really sorry it has to be this way Hector, but you stand in the way of my Sacaen quarry. Know that I will take no joy in this coming battle. Yeah, I've got a 5* Brave Axe+ Cherche of my own and I love her. I sacked a 5* -Spd Raven (who spooked my rates while I was hunting for Summer!Elise) to get her that Brave Axe+. She doesn't have Death Blow 3 yet and as such just has to make due with Attack +3 until I manage to pull another Klein. *internally debates on whether or not to bring up the Lucina who served as my free summon on the CYL Block B banner*

You sure about that last part? All of my ideas are complete shit. You'd find no challenge in destroying them at all. She's been working out great so I'll leave it up to you on whether you want to switch her out for Brave!Lucina or someone else.

@Ice Dragon, I respect you and your thoughts about this. However, I already made it plainly clear that nothing will change how I feel about the multiplier so I'd appreciate it if you would just let it be. I also want to stop talking about it and avoid spreading any further negativity since I feel that I've said more than enough about the matter.

I've avoided having this happen to me at all though you can be sure an Ike has been the random person unit plenty of times. At this point, I'm getting either your Titania, @Astellius's Cherche and I want to say @Luna of Dragonblood's Fae (your in-game name is just Luna right?) as the friend unit.

Ike's team is still bigger than Lyn's though. Even if he does lose, it won't be anything like Gaius getting sent to the Shadow Realm in the finals of the last gauntlet.

I've only used flags during Ike's only multiplier hour so I'm doing what needs to be done. So long as our average hourly gain doesn't go up any further, Roy will fail to get the multiplier. It's Team Camilla that needs to seriously worry about a last hour multiplier.

I hated the multiplier before the Summer Gauntlet was even a thing. Stop assuming that Leo's loss is the only reason I'm railing against the multiplier. I've been against it from the very beginning, I'll have you know. I refuse to accept that loss because it was entirely the product of an unfair, bullshit scrappy mechanic. Nothing you or anyone can say will change my perspective.

I've hated the idea of the multiplier well before Leo's loss. That only made it personal. I would've much preferred for Leo to take a crushing but also fair loss to Corrin rather than getting Blue Shelled straight to hell.

I'd still be saying this even if that didn't happen. That incident only further cemented my hatred of it. And really, it actually doesn't work. Ike vs. Roy is still at its core a curb-stomp. All the multiplier's doing is masking that fact. So sure, you can enjoy this fake competitiveness all you want because I certainly haven't been.

As far as I'm concerned, you can't call those upsets when there is literally only one thing in place that allowed it to happen with that one thing not being the fact that the winner was legitimately more popular than the loser. Roy would be royally getting his ass kicked right now without the multiplier. There's absolutely no denying that. Instead, we have a close match that in reality shouldn't even be remotely close at all. These matches are no more exciting than the curb-stomps to me when the competitiveness of them is entirely artificial thanks to the multiplier.

I'd be more than happy to help you out with that. Someone has to pay the consequences for Leo's undeserved loss and for anyone who potentially gets an undeserved loss in this gauntlet as well.

Against Leo, yes. It wasn't at the absolute last minute, but he got it for like the third-to-last hour of Round 2 (at which point it was at x7.3) which gave him more than enough to take a victory he didn't deserve fend Leo off for what little time remained.

I don't know. Maybe it's the same reason why a Team Roy-deployed Leo had Flux as his weapon.

That's also thanks to the multiplier. Roy has no chance of actually sustaining a lead on his own merits.

Forgot to mention this but because of this, we now have a 4* source for Fortress Def 3 since that's the passive Seth maxes as a 4*.

I got someone ranked near me who has their name set as "Legalize FE4" with Eldigan as their lead. Also, #1 in Team Ike is named "IkeIsMyDaddy" but yet they have a Marth as their lead.

Yeah, except I already had to watch Leo take a loss he didn't deserve just last gauntlet so don't even start with me on that. I also never said that a Lucina win due to the multiplier wouldn't be a phony, bullshit one. Again, I won't lose any sleep over Lyn getting upset but I also won't deny the fact that she deserved to win the match more if it does happen.

I most certainly wouldn't shed a single tear for Lyn if that happened either. If anything, her getting upset might be just the one we need for IS to finally realize that the stacked multiplier should've never become a thing in the first place.

Nah, Bonfire on -Def Mae is perfectly fine, random Ike teammate. That six extra damage is just too OP after all.

Without buffs, he OHKO'd a Summer!Elise with Life and Death 2 in my last battle.
