  1. Rajang's funny. His big lightning beam has a tendency to take me out in one hit if I get careless. I regret spending the time to make a Silver Rathalos gunner set. It mostly enchances only a very very specific bow which I haven't found enemies who are vulnerable to it at this stage.
  2. Bowuser 4 lyfe! With Khezu armoured SnS for when I feel like being a medic. I hate Gypceros for those moments when it manages to peck me...I fear for my power charms being stolen.
  3. Following Australian time, Happy Birthday Integrity!

    1. Integrity

      Integrity

i'll return the favor in twelve hours! thanks!

  4. Be sure to name your Ronin Dunban, the Warmagus using SWORDS Shulk and maybe throw in Reyn as Protector. Name your furball of a beast Rikki and have the gunner be called Sharla with heal bullets maxed out. Melia needs to get all those elemental buffs asap for flavour.
  5. For some reason, I now intend to watch God Eater all the way. Something about the third episode felt comfortable for my tired brain to digest.
  6. Aesthetics and no practicality. I want to be reminded it is an alien game world where bizarre appearances can exist and not naturally replicate it in real life. Keep the fantasy high, the 'realism' low.
  7. Would be funny if Nohr gets all the S-rank weapons, but only Maids, Sorcerers and Berserkers can wield it naturally. And if your Kamui picks a subclass that has access to an S-rank weapon wielding class.
  8. Oh wow, Hp and Luck caps are no longer universal? :<
  9. At least she'll be able to pull off a combo of using Extravagence and Line of Death if you have enough gold coins for a net +20 damage in battle. Sounds like a good way to burn gold for power.
  10. Would be a way of rounding out your army I guess. Getting big beefy Armoured Knights for Hoshido, Darkmage/Mageknights(for tome cavalries), many staff users for Nohr. What if IS cuts down on storied characters so we actually have less of them in each route and will need to boost our army size via generics. That's a scary thought, but feels thematically appropriate because we're supposed to be the underdogs.
  11. Funny how Hoshidan ninja's got inspired to learn to pick locks off sliding doors without locks. Or must have been motivated by the first Hoshido-Nohr war where a bunch of ninja's got stumped in front of a large sturdy oak door with knob and locked, foiling what could have been a decisive assassination of the then best strategist of Nohr.
  12. Imagine they first made her and the entire Nohr(minus a few characters in early concept phase) as villains. Then someone decided they can make two games and factions at the same time and suddenly she's potentially a good person.
  13. I write with my right hand. Otherwise I reflexively use my left hand for everything. My shitty right hand hand writing looks marginally better than my left hand handwriting of barely any training.
  14. I thought you could change the difficulty in EOU? Also, love End of Raging Winds in Etrian Mystery Dungeon(Nope, haven't gotten the game yet. Playing Rune Factory 4 in the meantime)
  15. Better to forge luck while maxing the stunning passive skill if you want stuns out of your dancer. But you'll need an Arcanist to reset the stun resistance bosses build up if you want to keep at it. I find it too unreliable personally, and my Dancer's duty is to spam widen dance with Energy Tango every turn when not setting up more Energy Tango for my TP hungry party anyway~ Welcome to the wonderful realm of Bloodsurge/Calm...infinite Hp/TP for that one guy out of random encounters.
  16. Pyrrhic victories on all three routes. As in, there is no reconciliation between the nations and the third route depicts your rise to well-intentioned overlord(perhaps become someone like Alvis) but had to submit to darker powers. All endings not being able to save everyone where Kamui ends up becoming bitter if he originally had any ideals of trying to save both families. If all endings are 'bad' some of us can then argue till the end of time which ending is the 'happiest' in relation to each other. Hoshido: Ends with Hoshido faction successfully summoning and enslaving the world's equivalent of Naga and binding that power to Kamui who then becomes a mindless weapons of destruction to deliver Hoshido's true desire for peace...via the eradication of anyone not one of them. Perhaps with the visuals of them cutting down those Nohrian butlers who sided with you because they carry Nohrian blood, and are thus 'evil'. Nohr: Ends with Kamui taking down Garon, then learning that everything he did was to prevent the Hoshido faction from perverting the world's equivalent of Naga for their extremist(Hypocritical) ends and you get to fight a light based dragon for a change. Third path: Nosferatu are apparently the hostile manifestations of the will of the world desiring to put an end to the struggles between the two nations by force as a last retort. Giant stone head thing recruits you because it has judged the only way to prevent an even greater tragedy is to put down both nations. Kamui becomes the chosen one due to his ties with both factions and thus is judged to have a balanced view on both sides. Ends with most of civilisation eradicated and humanities powers curbed while Kamui is to live on forever as some dragon thing to lead monsters to keep human civilisation from advancing and threatening the balance of the world. Somewhere along the way you have to take on Aqua who is pro-civilisation/humanity and anti-Nosferatu(who tries to rally a desperate last stand against you with the surviving faction royalties).
  17. I found Fortress/Dancer useful for the dances that helped the Fortress auto recover from binds/status(Meaning the Fortress is almost always active while not taking up turns recovering) as well as the Act-First-ish skill. And the regen waltz. I find Fortress on its own using guarding skills in the frontline generally over recovers TP. But I admit Hoplite's damage dealing capacities are far superior. In the case of Hoplite/Ninja tanking for another line, Fortress was given skills to tank for the entire party without the need of another subclass.
  18. Not that it's a bad idea but I prioritised getting all the first rune spells to half, then max skill points since it increases both the damage reduction from elemental attacks since 50~75% damage reduction from an element is epic AND boosts the relevant elemental damage. While keeping overall tp costs of offensive skills low. But I also had the benefit of running 3 Runemasters so each could max out one basic Rune very early.
  19. The TP cost on that Glacier Rune must be hard to sustain for your level! Or at least I kept all my Runes as skill level 3 till the last stratum when I felt my Runemasters can afford spamming them each trip. Weakness of my setup has always been no one to auto attack so first tier spells were always used. @_@ So how does the Runemaster feel as nuker compared to good old fashion Alchemist?
  20. I thought it was bad at first, then I learned to use the act first equivalent for AoE spams...and spend some (Easier) fights on Bloodsurge/Calm combo.
  21. Good luck B.Leu. Also, remember rune magic can miss!
  22. Nightseeker/Arcanist looks tame compared to what a Nightseeker/Bushi can do with damage numbers... About runes, the first runes you learn are buffs, they reduce incoming elemental damage while increasing elemental damage you can deal to others...increased elemental damage counts as monster being 'weak' to it. So it triggers Runic Precision. Since they implemented front and backrow for monsters, all runes have unequal attack patterns. Fireball can target anyrow and splash half damage to monsters on either side. Ice Lance hits something in the front row and something in the backrow, if you target only backrow then it'll hit one target. Yes you can pick which ones get hit on both front and backrow. Lightning rune will hit everything in one row, but the Runemaster can only target things in the front row IF he's at the backrow. If he's in the front row then he can target things on either row with Lightning rune. If your asking about the lore of magic then I don't have a proper answer. Regarding your team:
  23. Only if the female lords would resemble Boudica and presents options of burning down and pillaging villages instead of rescuing them. And make all those atrocities justified without making the enemy look like child eating monsters. Celtic theme would be a nice bonus.
  24. Nah, I think I'm the only odd one who tries to bring out the potential of mages in EO when they are clearly inferior to warrior types. EO4's mages are very useful since they also cover elemental damage reduction and have some form of TP sustain. I also noticed that you can leave elemental skill levels low-ish and still put out very respectable damage. Pretty much level 3 Lightning Rune spam carried my party for most of the game. Also, Runemasters unlike their past incarnations actually hit hard in relation to their tp costs now. Even my dancer subbed Runemaster for their passives XD
  25. Medic isn't a MUST HAVE since you can subclass them in in the future. They just mean you need to bring less of Medicas(healing items) and Theriacs(Bind/status removal items). You might even find a healing staff somewhere which grants you the basic healing spell to whoever is wielding it. I did a run without Medics and fielding three Runemasters, so it's not that crucial. I did however make good use of the Fortress. I highly recommend you use a Fortress if you have at least 2 people dedicated to dealing damage. Be aware that the Dancer's buffs only apply to those in their row unlike the Princess who can cast it on any row.
