  1. Redundancy saves you from failure. For example, when you build a machine that destroys the world, build two. In case the heroes disable the first one.
  2. And who thought it was a good idea to reelect the guy who caused this? This is why I am an anarchist. This is so stupid.
  3. The saddest part is I helped turn that person into an anarchist. This is my legacy. I have to look back on this and rethink my life every few months.
  4. I can only assume that the forum was so dumbstruck by this post they were rendered incapable to rant about it. And who thought it was a good idea to reelect the guy who caused this? This is why I am an anarchist. This is so stupid.
  5. RIP Mr. E's Mystery Mafia. You tried.
  6. I think I should feel deeply about this but I'm not sure how.
  7. GoneWildNegev What is that?
  8. The joke is that they are an embodiment of the idea that 'I like everything but [country and] rap.' This statement is always based on ignorance of both the genres they like and the genres of country and/or rap, without exception (so far as I have seen).
  9. Afraid I can't make exceptions without good reasons if I want people to respect the reasons for the rule.
  10. That is called straw manning. Lord Raven pointed it out in one of the earlier posts. Many (if not most) people have a tendency to simplify their opponents' points into a more ridiculous likenesses of their arguments instead of making an attempt to see it for the point it is. They want to believe the world is black and white and reject anything in the gray. e.g. "The Middle East had good reason to be angry." -> "You supported 9/11?!" OR "9/11 was completely uncalled for." -> "You supported the invasion of Iraq?!" That street goes both ways. If you want to foster intellectual integrity and reading comprehension as a standard, start with yourself.
  11. Some of them are on a level of wit I can only aspire to. See: #27, #12, #2.
  12. "Just think: Somewhere there is a perfect form of a bitter loser, of which you are just one particular embodiment." Diogenes 10/10.
