  4. ...That's a thing? F Yeah i understand you now yet an important scene with no hints whatsover. actually, yes. Nosferatu makes your whole life much easier. The player has no way of knowing which tome you get when you capture a castle. smh no balls xD GO OUT AND KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!
  5. Ghost event with Seliph has no prior hints. Getting Nosferatu or or other light tome with Julia makes a huge Difference Enemy can spawn right in the middle of the army and attack on the same turn without any warning whatsoever. Then there's ch24x with unmarked warp tiles that send you to death rooms. FE has many of these moments that have no hints. Not different from any FE fog map, really. I've played worse. Much worse. Also, use torches 😉 Although i get your annoyance. Assasins are always annoying to face.
  6. I won't play a game another time for 30 minutes of content. I will just youtube them. Ah that, but i always had gambits and stuff so it wasn't a surprise per se. That map on maddening though was were boy. Surprise reinforcemtns and stuff. Bullshit, to put it simple. That one is no different from usual FE reinforcements though. understandable. Although i gotta say i played Hard mode like i would a classic FE. No grinding, no recruitments from other houses, and i found it to be a fun challenge on CF/SS. Easy on Blue Lions though. huh? Isn't this the survive map? I didn't find it unfair, just...Fog. Games have to learn to respect player's time, before the devs earn my respect.

  8. And it's bullshit I love FE10, but this is bullshit. I also love FE5, but it has alot of bullshit, too.

Iirc that only chapter that had such surprise thingies in 3H were Ch4 and Petra paralogue (on Hard mode) And well, Maddening mode, but that mode is BS and never doing it again in my life (Divine pulses helped, somewhat) Yeah, i believe that. I had an amazing Claude yet the only reason i survived ch13 maddening was because i built an evasion tank Byleth and know how the map was like from hard runs on other routes. Would've probably made me drop the game if i NG'd maddening ngl. 'Hints' yeah Totally. Totally i should see the enemy suddenly teleporting into my army one shotting some of my units. Or that to get an item/event you have to stand on a certain tile. totally 'Hints' I am not a psychic You do you. It shouldn't be required for the player to play a game more than once to get an ending. Any NG+ exclusive stuff that is important is and will always be bullshit.

  11. Because everyone has the time to play 50+ Hours game more than once. Sure Yeah yeah, the classic ''should've seen the surprise no one saw coming come'' If you enjoy that, more power to you. I don't enjoy the ''hide stuff from player'' type of difficulty, and usually is enough for me to drop a game
  12. Here i disagree FE4 has to be one of the most imbalanced games ever. Nothing post kaga IS did comes even close to that Not many do a next run. I am definetly not one of them If player misses something it shouldn't be due to bullshit surprises Some of these surprises can legit soft lock you out of finishing the game
  13. Ofc it won't be easy. It really depends on what you value more in a FE game. Gameplay, Story, consequences, etc. What alot of SRPG games do is give the player the additional side quest of not losing anyone in a map. Dunno however if that will be accepted in the FE fanbase.
  14. rip sick trading strats I think he added the 5 turns save in because maps take too long XD Even he wouldn'T want the player the player to retry 2 worth of usual maps length at once xD But yeah even cryptic stuff seems less cryptic this time around. And there are legit tutorials this around, finally.
  15. I think it's less that and more that part of his design philosophy that player should be ready for any surprises and see everything coming... which i don't really think works with a SRPG with perma consequences like FE.
  16. The game is fun so far so that this doesn't bother me that much. Just like how i enjoy FE5 despite Kaga surprises existing xD
  17. You can, with the story slightly changing to account for their death. Something like them, where it isn't only 1 on 1 convos, would be good enough.

  19. just happened with me last map. A brand new weapon broke a few turns in when it turned green it's dumb same. When i played FE8 i benched him xd First fight on first map enemy weapon broke for me lmao of course he gained like 15 extra avoid then or so <.<
