  1. When the game started I was sure that if you had a Takumi, you already won. Effie was the pillar of the first two months of the game for me.My luck have been consistently good when summoning. I felt like I was always behind the meta. That being putting fury or moonbow on all of your units. I have a very patient person so I can grind for hours during the tempest trials. Still playing is game until there is a skill that is a "i win button".

Which is why I specified they're after the New Mystery characters.

Navarre is also, for some reason, after the new mystery characters as the final "FE3" character.

Then I have no idea. how the catalog of heroes is organized. It is not based on recruitment order, first appearances, or nationality.  But in the fates section in is organized by royal then retainers. This is confusing.

It looks nothing like a menorah. I'm pretty sure it's just a standard 3 pronged candlestick

I see. Well the reason Althena is way at the end of the Archanea chracters is because she was first introduced in Fe 11, not 1 or 3. Don't really know why she is behind Katarina and the assassins considering they are from the twelfth game.

    Favourite thing about Awakening?

I'd forgotten about ledges, I'd definitely like to see that appear again.

Supports in battle rather than long conversations in base - FE7 and 8

The lack of children in all games pre awakening.

Only being able to use the convoy if a merchant is with you - FE7

    Weapons run out

The use of three types of magic with particular classes that use them; light, anima and dark

The experimentation in reclassing, child units, and seeing how much can you break the game.

Mmm, i was thinking change saizo x beruka and give charlotte to kaze, so midori will have more power and speed and asugi will inherit good skill growth and wyvern class.

That is a better idea than original pairing. For Midori why reclassing her to a ninja or fighter to use her more effectively.

  6. Try to pick a several rally skills speed/strength, to have synergy with his personal skill. Bowfaire for damage output, bowbreaker for patching up his weakness, warding blow if  he is going to  fight mages head on, Rend Heaven to improve his match-up against  tough classes, darting blow to improve doubling. Amaterasu to aid nearby allies. Would not recommend counter-magic since the class need high  health. It  is up to you to choose what make you comfortable.

Ok so holy crap. I just did a yolo summon on TT banner and got none of the focus units but rather a beautiful and golden Tharja. I'm currently wondering what to do with her or whom should get Rauđrblade+? My only red mages so far are:

    1. Katarina +def -sp (Vantage 3)

    2. Sanaki +atk -res (Dragon Fang)

    3. Leo +res -sp (Reposition, Luna, Hone Cavalry)

Or just make my Tharja +1, or keep her for future purposes?

Will throw some orbs on Hero Fest to see what 5☆ I get. SI fodder is quite juicy this time on my account: Brave Sword+, Rauđrblade+, Glacies, Vantage 3.

I would say Sanaki, if you play her like a low powerhouse.  Second option is to save. Third  is to merge. Few red mages are good for a blade tome.

  8. I would say Kinshi Knight, even thought there are few flier dominated maps in that route which the Kinshi Knight reins. The perks is that Shigure can act as a support attacker. Each turn he can  either support by buffing, or attack. Being a flyer it is easier to have dual attacks for more damage. Just remember that the strongest archer in Revelation is Takumi, and best characters are most of the royals. And there are few strong ax fighters, due to Revelation's weird base stats.  Just my two cents.

Is there anything from older FE games that you would like to see in the next FE?

    @Jingle Jangle you didn't ask me a question :3

What I wish to  see in the next Fire Emblem game is a smaller scale story similar to  the Blazing Sword. Not every game needs to have region Waring conflicts. Every since Path of Radiance this have been the norm of the series.

Sorry about the question, but here it goes. How do you judge a person?

Good god do I have an idea for this.

The villain should be extremely charismatic, but also incredibly evil. I want that to be psychologically quite interesting, however; as if they have a NEED for power, they just want more and more of it, somewhat inspired by Alan Bullock's interpretation of the motivations of Joseph Stalin. As a child, they were merely a Peasent in the Kingdom, before they were contacted by the ghost of the hero who defeated the ancient evil in the backstory. He tells the villain that they can gain more power if they only try to reach their full potential, and invite them to train. Throughout the training, the villain slowly becomes more resentful; the nobility spent their entire life shitting all over him, and now he has to devote his life to saving their world? Hell no. He'll use his power to remake their world.

So, using his charisma, he leads a revolution and becomes the new King of this Kingdom. But, he wants more. He wants to be a god. So, he sets about trying to gain the power of the evil God, which will be possible through the Fire Emblem. Eventually, he gets it, and manages to take this power for himself, after manipulating a priest of this god into helping him(hey, I like reversals, okay, and the priest btw would be motivated by revenge for the genocide of his people by the protagonist's father) he is a god by the climax. Meanwhile, the ghost will have enlisted the protagonist(preferably female, to break cliches) to help him defeat the monster he's created. And thus, we have a very interesting rivalry, that explores the idea of the "chosen one" being a sociopath.

The idea that you have sounds similar to Griffith from the series Berserk. Where he is trying to create his kingdom, no matter the cost. And depends who you are can see him as a hero or as a villain. Still an excellent idea, there are not enough villains that are willing to create their own kingdom from scratch.

Does Aptitude work with Offspring Seals? Would it affect stat gains from the Seal or does it only change stat gains on level ups? I'm thinking I'd pair her with Keaton for this new run to make a crazy Velouria.

Offspring Seals does not work with Aptitude. But scales on the chapter you are currently on. And what you are promoting into; think of it as an  advanced Master Seal, Just  look at the table to understand. If you were pairing Mozu with Keaton. It should be early in the game. I would recommend giving Velouria Aptitude, so by the endgame she will be a powerhouse.

Makes you wonder why they kept that banner for the whole month.

Because the previous limited editions banners only ran for two weeks. People complained what it was not enough time to  get the characters they want (Bride Cordelia). So devs extended it; don't know it this is going to be the case  for seasonal banners in the future.

  13. This is nice and everything but the forums rules say that "Requesting or giving links to ROMs and other illegal warez is strictly forbidden. The punishment for doing this is banishment." so you should remove the link and edit the contents.

  14. Am I one of the few people that isn't going to summon the the hero fest banner? My orb supply is low at the moment, and I am willing to spend money later in the year. I am more interested in new heroes than in older ones. Besides, from the free summon I got a 3* (+res,-atk) Subaki. I sense that if I do summon, Barsts and Firs will come.

  15. What I would do differently is

    • Lower the level cap growth rates to fates standards.
    • Chrom has a story promotion at chapter 10
    • Make some non important characters contribute to the story/  have a moment in the spotlight. Virion can have a part in Valm. Tharja can play a part in explaining Grima originn or why people follow him. etc.
    • In chapter 21. The ways to make Lucina to back down is for Robin to have a A or S rank with her or Chrom
    • In the  endgame, the only people that can defeat Grima are Chrom, Robin, or Lucina in ten turns before everyone is thrown off. Which character gives the final blow will change the ending. Similar to  defeating Ashera or Duma.
    • Make the pair-up system  closer to Fates.
    • No same turn reinforcements.
    • Add a magic triangle to  balance magic.

That's all of the ideas I have how. Some of the  other ideas mentioned in the thread works to. What Awakening really needs is some polishing.

In Radiant Dawn, only Ike was allowed to deal the final blow to the final boss. Otherwise, it would regenerate to full and everything will be needed to be done again.

Not only is the blueberry protected by plot armour, he also is armed with a plot weapon. Never again, thank you very much.

Surly it wasn't that hard, the only thing in the level were the spiral magic things, and  Ashera's Judge doom laser. Just took  some inspiration from Echoes in order the defeat the final boss  Alm needed to wield Falchion, and have a critical hit.. Just creating some poetry, so it can rhyme
