Based on this tweet from Nintendo France, it appears the live presentation for Three Houses will occur on July 5th at 11:00 AM (Most likely CEST). Given that they had a livestream for today's events at Japan Expo, Nintendo of France will probably broadcast it live on their YouTube channel. I could be wrong though.

Based on what we know, my current theory is that if you choose Edelgard, you'll be killing Claude for treason when he tries to help Dimitri and Dimitri due to their clash of ideals. If you choose Dimitri, you'll be killing Edelgard to overthrow the Empire and maybe Claude if he tries to stand in his way. And if you choose Claude, you'll have to kill Dimitri after Dimitri has killed Edelgard and turned to total anarchy.
Hey, we said we wanted a dark FE game right?
What I meant was the same leader perishing regardless of what path was chosen (Dimitri dies on all three paths; even though Byleth joined Blue Lions and is on the same team as Dimitri, Dimitri still perishes).

Something tells me one of the three are always going to die in all the routes whether we chose his or her side or not.

There is a whole lot of conjecture here based on your limited anecdotal evidence. What makes you think people aren't interested in regular updates? You think less is more? Could it be that more is more? You can have both gradual promotion and then a huge final push in the month leading up to release.
Yikes, no. Silence is the slow death of hype. When you don't get more info on something, it becomes "out of sight, out of mind". I'm a casual fan of a number of Nintendo IPs and I forget they exist if they don't actually promote the games.
Let me cut you off by stating that the original point was that the marketing was poor pre-E3 2019. So everything you listed after that point on the timeline is irrelevant. It's not being contested. Japan has gotten pretty much everything we did AND MORE. It's no contest. Their website, which I would assume is a place casual fans would want to check out if they googled the name of the game, is regularly updated with lots of juicy information. What does our website have (even now)? Tumbleweeds and the sound of the wind blowing.
I've seen you post on more than one occasion things to the effect of "ToLd YoU sO" when your argument rests on things that happened mostly after E3 2019, a period no one disagrees with having adequate marketing.By your logic, Persona 5 has poor marketing overseas because overseas casual fans didn't get much mileage and info from Atlus USA's overseas marketing and website compared to Atlus Japan's. Is that what I am getting at? I mean sometimes the Japanese side of marketing, whether wittingly or not, does the job already for overseas.

Part of me wonders how much impact the timeskip and story had in the decision to go a different direction for the character. I also wonder if Edelgard was not the only character affected. We might never know.

Another interesting tidbit, the use of や and など indicate that the DLC will not only include these three things. This must just be what they are willing to indicate now.
🤔. Interesting. Will add to the OP. Thanks!

It seems Japan are released the Download Card for three houses. There’s some tidbits shown in the Card…
I. You needs 11.9GB or more spaces to download the game.
II. It seems that some sort of Online Play will be included, no details have been given tho.
III. Amiibo support confirmed, no details have been given either.
IV. DLC confirmed. It seems this time, DLCs will be new quests, side stories and clothes.

The thing I loved about Fates' amiibo implementation other than getting playable units was also the artwork for the portraits. We got to see Yusuke Kozaki do his take on Marth and Ike and I think it would be interesting to see how Kurahana does her take on the portraits for the amiibo units.

It always is the blue haired character isn't it? First Sigurd, then Flora, then Rinea, now Marianne. Turns out there ended up being more to the jokes of Marianne being Berkut and Rinea's daughter!

Not too surprising there isn't multiplayer, if the kinds of teams I've encountered in both Heroes and Fates are anything to go by.

I'm a big GoT fan, but I won't touch anything from FromSoft.
Difficult for the sake of being difficult is a turn off. I don't play games to stress. Real life already has plenty of stress.
Now, if GRRM would like to collaborate with a strategy game or a turn-based story RPG, then I'll buy it.
I feel the post made by @Slumber over in the Sekiro thread very much applies here.

Any Soulsborne fans and/or Sekiro fans looking forward towards this game? Any GOT or ASOIF fans jumping in?

Wow, I had no idea voice actors were treated so poorly. They can just be brought on as placeholders and then thrown out like garbage at any time? And they can record a character's entire dialogue and then just get dropped like a hot tamale later without being told? That is cruel. If I was one of those VAs, I'd feel pissed that all the hard work I did was for nothing. No wonder some VAs went on strike and all.
Also, this doesn't make sense financially for the game devs if they actually paid for these recordings. Why pay for something and then not use it in the end? You're just losing money.
The SAG-AFTRA strike was more due to payment (residuals) and workplace health safety (vocal stress) reasons and less the reasons you listed above.

Kira Buckland, the voice actress for Eirika and Katarina, and other characters like NieR's 2B, Tales of Zestiria's Edna, etc., has a pretty good write-up on this kind of scenario (Voice acting announcements, NDAs, etc.), for those out of curiosity. I bolded the text that is most important.

So when CAN you talk about your involvement in something? As a general rule, wait until the project is out and released in the English-speaking market, unless a cast list is officially released earlier than that OR you receive permission from the client that it is okay to announce your involvement. Bear in mind these two caveats:
- Make sure your character is released! In video games, characters may be recorded early for the purposes of DLC or later implementation in the game. If the game is already out, but your particular character hasn't been released yet, you can be considered as breaking NDA for leaking the fact that the character is or may be coming to the roster.
- Make sure it's actually your voice. 95% of the time, it will be...but unfortunately, sometimes an actor will record an entire character, the client will later decide it's not quite what they have in mind, and they will bring in someone else later to replace all of the dialogue. Because the original actor completed the session and got paid for it, they will often have no idea they were recast. For example, I saw a game I recorded for get released and was excited to announce my character...but thankfully before I said anything, I looked up gameplay videos only to find my character was recast to a friend of mine (through no fault of my own - we had a great session, but the client decided to go in a different direction after the fact--it happens!), and I had no idea. I'm sure glad I looked it up before saying anything, because how embarrassing would it be to announce that you play a certain role only to find out that you...actually don't after all? -
I did find it weird she was the only voice artist to talk about it back around E3 2018 which makes me thinks her lines were placeholders just for the trailer.

...Wait, so they're just changing the VA in the middle of development? That's stupid, because either we're going to start hearing a different voice for her halfway through the game or they have to take time to re-record all the lines that Vee did with a new VA and that could push the release back. Stupid bullshit.
Unlikely. Replacement VA probably already finished recording the lines (and redubbed lines that Vee already did, if the initial voicework was not a placeholder) long before it would even have an effect on the release date.
-
Either it was a placeholder or a NDA was broken. Robbie Daymond, who revealed he was involved in Three Houses on Twitter a week ago, deleted the tweet in question, likely because he wasn't supposed to talk about it yet. I do know breaking NDAs are serious business in the voice acting world.
Edelgard kinda sounded like either Carrie Keranen or Tara Platt in the February direct trailer.

I am namely curious at the fact that thani stated that there would be more than three countries involved in the story.

Yes indeed, Thani did say that she's getting her sources from early versions of the game, so most likely some stuff will be cut or changed in the final release.
I strongly doubt story and character details will have significant changes. Depending on what Thani said when she meant “early”, there might not even be changes at all! Those early builds could just be gameplay changes, design changes, and QOL stuff. Again, unless IntSys did a major development overhaul, which would be highly unlikely and easier said than done in this period of development, I don’t think the general gist of what Thani put out will change.
-
Gonna offer my two cents in light of recent stuff and details.
Thani is unlikely to have BS sources if her sources got the names correct and magazine reveals lend more and more credibility to the info she put out. Yes, some story details and character stuff might change and be different from what she wrote about, but I strongly doubt they would be significant to the point that they would directly impact the general gist of what she put out. Though she admitted to have only early details, unless a significant development overhaul has occurred on Japan's side of things recently, it is more than likely that much of those details will remain in the game.
At this point, I am going to go off air on examining details of what thani put out because I have a feeling that the details that she leaked, especially regarding characters and story, are stuff that are best experienced when blind. While I understand her intentions (I know she wanted to drum out hype and speculation for the game and all), something tells me the people who scrutinize the leak from now until release are going to wish they didn't, if not regret it. I would be more concerned about the Nintendo ninjas going after her sources than whether the details are correct at this point.

Honestly, thanibomb is the BIGGEST reason why I'm so excited for fire emblem three houses, since it makes it seem like more of a traditional fire emblem game than the marketing is letting on (focusing on characters and monastery stuff). If it ends up true, this'll easily be my favourite game in the series...so yeah, fingers crossed!!
Something tells me we might be seeing a lot of "What I expected, what I got" memes if what thani said ends up being true. Come for Persona/Trails Emblem, stay for Genealogy/GoT Emblem 2.0.

If I recall, the average playthrough for Radiant Dawn is about 40-50 hours (correct me if I am wrong). This, plus a smaller cast than RD and Fates (I am of the mind of quality over quantity) will be interesting to see.
