In my 1st and only FE 9 draft so far, I worked out a 4 turn strategy for Chp 11, but then I realized Jill didnt come until turn 5. And I needed to recruit her since I had drafted Haar. Im still not done with this playthrough, btw.

In any chapter where the objective isnt seize, Marcia can carry someone who isnt Ike.

Yes, Jill needs to appear in Chp 11 for her to come ind Chp 12. And she comes on turn 5. Any team should be capable of 4 turning Chp 11 so by extension, Haar costs at least 1 turn to recruit. Possibly more for whoever drafts Jill.

Ok, not literally celebrate it as a holiday or anything like that. I live in an area with a lot of Muslims and they always seem to be more active on 9/11. Almost like they are taunting everyone.

With the newer "unofficial" rules I would say Oscar is the best. With the current rules I would go Marcia > Oscar > Jill. Oscar saves half a dozen turns before Jill shows up. After that, Jill doesnt really save that many turns over Oscar. As long as the Oscar drafter drafts well, They will on lose by 1 turn in Chp 15, 17-1, 17-2, and 17-4. and im not sure after that.

^ Seriously? Giving Gatrie the boots means we cant give them to someone who makes better use of them. Snowy said, Gatrie with boots > Gatrie w/o boots. This is a true statement, but from an overall perspective it is false. Giving Gatrie boots will make Gatrie better, but it will make our team weaker in the form of turns being lost. Snowy and dondon are looking at it from different perspectives. They are both correct but dondon is more correct.

I would put Oscar above Jill. He saves a bunch of turns early on and Jill costs at least 1 turn to recruit. Also if this is based on the newer rules that dont give Marcia and Jill an initial Bexp dump then Jill wont be able to 2 turn Chp 15 and Oscar will also be better for Chp 16.

100 bexp is too much if you ask me it deafeats the point of limiting Bexp use. Although, having Marcia and Jill's intial Bexp be 0.00 is probably best. 27-2 most certainly should be free. It allows Nasir to actually exist.

^ Bills fan too? Thats cool. I dont think theyre that bad, I think they just werent ready to play in the first half and the Jets took advantage of that. The next 2 games are look pretty winable. They do need to address the QB position. Fitzpatrick is just a band-aid. Why do people think Houston is so special? They will make the playoffs because of their weak division, but thats it.

The Bills really disappointed me today. I hate Mark "dirty" Sanchez. Spiller looked really good though and they should be able to bounce back next 2 weeks. LOL went Scott Chandler took out the Jets coach, Rex Ryan. Haha, that made the loss bearable.

Oscar has an availability lead over Kieran and their performance is almost identical.

@ Snowy The comment about Brom and Gatrie was a joke. I should have known you would focus on that part of my post... Even if you remove the mounts' ability to rescue other units, Marcia is still the 1st or 2nd best unit in this game. And the current tier positionings wouldn't change much at all. Actually, Reyson would move up and thats about it.

@ Snowy Even in your "hybrid" ranking system Marcia would still be 2 tiers above Nephenee, Mia, and Zihark. Her flight allows her to reach more enemies faster. Hell, she might even become better since she could allow for other units to reach more enemies faster with her rescue/drop utility. As far as your "no rescue/droping" tier list idea goes, it sounds like FE11 is the game for you. All the 7 move units would become really good for seize maps but the fliers and Paladins would still be on top for their performance in the rout and arrive maps. Bottom line is that no matter how you spin it, Marcia will be one of the best units and flight makes a big difference. Unless you do somthing idiotic like throw turn counts completely out the window, then Brom and Gatrie would be the best, haha.

^ Yeah, barriers, and physics. Maybe some weapons. After thinking about it, I guess its not huge but they would be nice.

I was just hoping there was some loophole I didnt know about. Im doing my 1st FE7 draft and I just realized only 2 drafters can get it without taking a penalty... FE7 drafts bug me even more now.

Question for FE7 drafts, Can undrafted thieves steal the member card? or will that invoke a penalty?

Chp 17x: 3/52 Got the Devil Axe and Canas. Chp 18: 3/55 Marcus killed the boss. I did some much needed shopping. Chp 19: 5/60 Marcus has base STR... If he had proc just 1 point of STR I could have gotten 4 turns.

^ The boss of Chapter 16 is Kimaarsi, not Kotaff. Kotaff is the boss of Chapter 9.

Chp 14: 5/28 Marcus did the majority of the work. Bartre killed the enemies near the start area. 4 turns would have been possible if effective damage was 3x... Chp 15: 7/35 Killed the boss and the thief after he yanked the Silver axe. Chp 16: 6/41 Got both villages. Marcus escorted Hector. Chp 17: 8/49 I was pretty happy with this one. Marcus and Hector went to the throne. Bartre, Eliwood, and Lyn trained near the start. Like an idiot I sold the lockpick earlier so Mathew couldn't get the Hero Crest for Bartre :(

Oh well if its the 1st 5 picks of a draft then I say, Vanessa, Artur, Franz, Tana, Saleh. Yeah, Franz and Garcia are over-rated imo. I think Artur's late game warping is more valuable than Franz's early game rape fest.

Hmm, its surprising that almost everyone has Franz AND Vanessa on their lists even though having both of them would be kind of a bad thing. What is the point of this thread exactly? FE8 drafts have 7 rounds of drafting, why do you only want us to list 5 units? My 5 would be, Vanessa, Artur, Tana, Ross, Saleh

Enemy LVs are higher and you fight promoted enemies sooner You also get half as much Bexp compared to Hard mode. You can actually forge more weapons sooner though, which is strange I think.

Bills fan here, unfortunately... Their schedule looks pretty weak though, im hoping they can break their playoff draught.
