It was lucky that you were all able to be online at once. Auctioning for turns should indeed make this fairly even. I hope everyone is close at the end for proof of concept. (Though I personally wouldn't have forced team numbers, especially in Lyn Mode where Lyn can easily solo all 12 chapters.)

As irritating as Lyn's contradictory bandit story is, the scene does give Hector some character development.

I know I'm throwing a lot of "Up next" characters at you guys, but feel free to go at your own pace. Bidding on multiple characters just helps speed up the process. If I suggest 5 characters but your bids are contingent on what happens with the first 3, then just bid on the first 3. Don't feel pressured!

Chapter 13x - 8 turns (29 total)
This one was a really interesting puzzle. The key for me was to get Marcus, Oswin, and Eliwood to seal off the right snag by the forts while Hector held the bridge. Everyone else huddled in the southern area out of range. Key first steps were getting Marcus a new Hand Axe and Javelin, then moving Serra on a forest and blocking the brigand (she got hit with 24 displayed hit...it happened many times over the course of my resets). Lowen was the one who rescued Merlinus (The only one who could do so safely). If that's a penalty, let me know, I'll take it.
It was easy from then, Hector's only concern was the mage and whatever brigands managed to hit him. He took care of everything else easily and prevented any brigands from crossing the river. Serra got precious few opportunities to heal and I squandered an opportunity on the last turn, but I'm not replaying the map for 11 exp.

No, the problem is that Randombobman didn't bid when he logged in to reclaim his spot. I was hoping he would be available during the weekend, but it seems he isn't.
I put an advertisement in FFTF so that it would appear on the new topics section on the main forum page. Hopefully this will draw attention to any interested party.

I wouldn't object to being sent a list like that, it's just that there are a lot of whatifs. At this point, though, I just want to get the bids filled out so that we can start this thing.

I don't think that it's a terrible idea, it's a fast and fun draft and everyone is likely to finish. There are just some glaring holes in the issue of balance, but if that's not a big concern to those involved, then that's fine.

You can just check out my draft where LM characters were drafted first.
Team Florina and Lucius, finished in 63 turns.
Team Matthew and Erk finished in 106 turns.
Team Dorcas and Serra finished in 99 turns.
Team Kent and Rath finished in 90 turns.
Team Sain and Wil apparently took 124 turns.
Now only Soul was an experienced player I'd say, and he had Florina, but even still that's a huge difference from 1st to 2nd.
All that said, if you don't want to learn from my mistakes, then feel free to do it however you want.

You should ban Florina and make it 5 players leaving Wallace (or whoever) undrafted.

Also remember that stat bonuses are permanent no matter what "role" the character is in, unlike abilities that require the character to be in a certain role. So if Lightning has +4 strength from the commando role, that will apply in all of her other roles as well.

I hate to do this, but I must. If randombobman posts within 12 hours ( by noon EST), he can remain in this draft. If he has a busy schedule and can't update in the near future, he can elect to have someone draft for him by proxy.
If he does not log in, his spot is up for grabs, with priority going to anyone who has posted in this thread.
I just hope that he's ok and has simply been unable to log in for a while.

Imo, anything is better than calling it Rainbow (abbreviation of potion), so I'll vote for "Star Potion".
