Here’s how I would’ve made that better, as far as brand-new announcements that I could think of (sorry for the last-minute edit):
Fire Emblem Echoes: Genealogy of the Holy War
Xenoblade 3 Expansion
Splatoon 3 Splatfest
Octopath II
Theatrhytm: Final Bar Line
NSO N64 games + Game Boy and GBA
Battle League Update
Nintendo Switch Sports: Golf update
Pikmin 4
Booster Course Pass
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Deluxe
Bayonetta 3
Return to Dream Land Deluxe
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Predictions:
Quick shout-outs to games already released (namely Splatoon 3)
3rd party sizzle reel
Some new game that nobody thought of but makes perfect sense
Mario Movie trailer
Some more ports
Bayonetta 3
Hopes
SSBU complete edition
Project X Zone 3
BOTW 2 gameplay
Kid Icarus Uprising
Tomato Adventure remake
New 3D Mario (sneak peek)
FE4 remake
New Donkey Kong
Switch port of Dragalia Lost
I just remembered; Lizardcube did an unofficial mock-up of what they think a Garou 2 would look like
So assuming the game is 2D, I’d be totally down for this Streets of Rage 4-esque style.
Well, the main difference that comes to my mind is that Fatal Fury is set in a different continuity from KoF depsite the latter having many of the same characters.
After wrapping up on Smash Ultimate, Sakurai decided to start his own YouTube channel specifically dedicated to game design.
The channel’s reached over 300k and a half subscribers in a matter of days.
After the recent success of SNK's new fighting games and Capcom starting to turn things around with their fighting games, I decided to lay down some ideas for a hypothetical Capcom vs SNK 3, primarily taking some ideas from a video Thorgi did a while back.
Story
Base Roster
Arcade Mode
DLC
At EVO today, SNK AA ounces that a follow-up to Garou: Mark of the Wolves had just been greenlit!
However, this wasn’t the first time SNK pitched a sequel; there was one that was 70% before it had to be canceled.
Okay, so hear me out: Tomato Adventure, one of AlphaDream's earlier attempts at the Mario & Luigi gameplay style.
Of course, it would require a new studio since AlphaDream is dead (maybe WayForward)?
A while back, an artist on Twitter started a trend where they drew Pokemon in the style of either the past ("Proto") or the future ("Neo") to match the theme of the upcoming Scarlet & Violet.
This probably won't be a thing in the actual release, but I thought it was a cool concept.
I know this game…doesn’t exactly look super great, but I feel this needs to be said:
I’m not gonna dictate whether or not people think Frontiers looks good or bad. But it’s not like they won’t fix however many issues they can before release.
Thinking about it some more, I think they should’ve gone for a more Sonic Adventure approach, with the hub world being open with levels sprinkled throughout.
I do kinda feel like the Professor names, while good, missed an opportunity here.
"Altamira" for the cave paintings, or "Palea" (as in Paleolithic or Stone)
"Gaudi" for the modern architect or "Silic" (as in Silicon)
Okay, three things:
1. Shinji Hashimoto retired from Square Enix
2. More new Pokémon info tomorrow
3. Sonic Frontiers just uploaded a brief bit of gameplay
