  1. Okay what scene is it, because the scene I watched didn't really have anything to do with Byleth's current lack of heartbeat (as said Byleth can allude to it but that's it) but the circumstances of their birth and lack of hearbeat/being still born. And again the lack of heartbeat (but iirc they did have a pulse which I think is synonymous with blood pressure here) wasn't the only symptom that concerned Jeralt. (Nor do I believe that Byleth's condition was Jeralt's only concern with Rhea)
  2. Okay can you give the name of the scene? And answering any of my other points because frankly what your saying doesn't match with what I got out of the dlc. (Or the main game for that matter)
  3. I agree that she acts less suspicious here (still has her moments though) but I'm not sure that's enough to be considered being put in a"much more" sympathetic light.
  4. Or Rhea was just going to be an ally unit at Shambhla, speaking of ally units Rhea has appearences as one pre-skip and is pretty integral to the premise of both. (Chapter 12 you could easily have her leave the army at that point, but her other apperance is a paralouge whoch could happen at any point and is already focused on other characters) From a character standpoint Rhea herself is seemingly against the idea of traipsing around with you in a guidance box question.
  5. Yeah not sure where that came from (the posts before that seemed more along the transfusion line), as for Byleth I'm not sure if their blood would even work for that. Frankly the incest angle just seems a bit silly to me when it comes to the goddess and her children.
  6. Dragon blood transfusions extending life isn't really headcanon. Though to me it took a bit of an unexpected turn into Byleth's god powers and status as a dragon, my intials thoughts on transfusions were more about those who already had crests.
  7. Please tell me this is an appeal to popularity and not what it reads as? Not that "the community which edits a wiki also agrees with me" is that much better.
  8. But Kostas did "miraculously" pull off the alleged plan of getting rid of the teacher. Personally I wouldn't rule out attempting to assassinate the other royals as a motive for the attacks, but I also don't think it's the only possible motive. Also with a blunt undirected instrument like Kostas I think it makes sense to spread out your objectives, frankly I think Edelgard could do a whole lot better for an assassination attempt. Also in regards to killing Dimitri the kingdom is already in pretty bad shape because of the tragedy, play your hand too strongly against him and you could strengthen the kingdom's position. (We even see that a bit in crimson flower)
  9. I definitely agree that specifically choosing the church route make the song more powerful, also not quite sure what vow she's referring to if you're not playng that route. (Though I've haven't played Golden Deer yet cause my sister called dibs, and repeating the academy phase makes events in them kinda blur together.)
  10. Teacher in this case is most likely referring not to Byleth but to the previous teacher who fled during the bandit attack.
  11. Yeah it's probably the tea parties. I really only brought up Bleyth's max to further the strikethough gag and mention that it's Sothis not the pope who has the highest charm (as well as mag lck and res) As for Edelgards options, I do think there are some potential longshots that could end up a bit better for her and she could try to partially mitigate the TWSITD issue with information on them, but yeah I don't think the prospects are great for her. (And with her belief that she's responsible for the Empire I really can't see her avoiding mental issues related to that with other options)
  12. Wow huge dig to Sothis who is According to the main site Byleth does have a higher maximum though.
  13. For me the sword makes perfect sense chronology wise, (though i did find her not using it at the palace odd, though at least she didn't give away the sword yet still had it in the cutscene or something, *cough* DK *cough*) what I want to know is when/how she put the Serios Shield in the Holy Tomb. As for Amyr, you can infer things about it through game mechanics and the like (It's repaired through agarthium and not umbral steel, and it's combat art correlates with it apparently having the crest of the beast on it) but yeah I don't think they ever go into it in more depth.
  14. Been a while since I played crimson flower where it was brought up but I don't think Edelgard at this point knows that they have advanced missile technology.
  15. They seem to have their own histories in the weapon descriptions. They seem to just be powerful mythril weapons with the same names.
  16. I'll reiterate that having a Judical system in three houses is a reason to expect a Judical system in three houses, what that Judical system entails is beyond that one point thus moving the goalposts. (Also I'd say Judicial systems are more a part of FE than you'd think but this is a TH forum) If they didn't have crests why is the world the exact same? As for Almyra that is Edelgard's paralouge (also why did you bring up Alois and Shamir's paralouge? There is no indication of any actual Almyrans there let alone an invasion) and I think Nader might have died when I played it.
  17. Where is it suggested/stated that the crest stone experiments in the chapel was Edelgard's plan? Genuinely curious. Going further back I was quite taken aback at the idea that Edelgard planned and was counting on the trap in the sealed forest and Hubert didn't even know, my reading was that Hubert was suprised that Edelgard was pointing out to Byleth that it was a trap. (and possibly suprised that she was here to kill Kronya regardless of the trap, but that's more speculative)
  18. Yes I have proof there's a Judical system in place in Fodlan more specifically the Empire. (House Herving is in charge of it though House Varley has been moving into that area with the decline of the church there) I was just more focused on reiterating my point in response to you moving the goalposts. (And your request for proof was tied into that) How does that counter my point that taking away crests from the equation and it being the exact same but with no crests is not a safe assumption?
  19. Having a Judical system is a reason to expect a Judical system, you can argue the possible details of that system and the assumptions that could be made of it but the concept does exists here. If the state of Fodlan was exactly the same but without crests sure, I don't think that's safe to say at all though.
  20. Maybe because a judicial system does exist in Fire Emblem Three Houses? And they used the power of crests (among other things) that is different then needing them.
  21. I've had spells not appear in battle animations a couple times basically nothing comes out when they cast, they just sit there for a bit and then battle continues. (I think I was erratically using the speed up button both times) As for facility training you still get support points with those you train with, it's inefficient for support grinding sure but I think that rules out being able to use it at S+ as a glitch.
  22. It that more or less fun than missing with your healing staff?
  23. How amused would you be with 30 weight, perhaps with an extra helping of having to save a unit equipped with one?
  24. What about the dialogue options, I know it's not quite game mechanics but it seems to fit the spirit of things to roll/flip for Bleyth's choices.
