I wouldn't know. The only thing that I knew about FE was that Roy and Ike appeared in Smash. Besides, Byleth hands out near!y all of the Hero's Relics; so it wouldn't be too far of an stretch to say that Corrin hands out the signature weapons of Xander or Ryoma -

Imaginative uses of a Dark Seal

Probably, anyone who's into brawling. But then you wouldn't be getting an lot of mileage out of it. I'd say an crit build, but you might be switching out something useful in exchange for Lifetaker. And the only people who would benefit from being topped off on health is Ferdinand and Dimitri (who really doesn't need it) Since the sword classes are supposed to be extremely evasive with the right characters. Certain builds on cavalry and War Masters involves lowering their own health under an certain threshold...But by then, the battle would be over. Defiant whatever is another disqualifier. -

Imaginative uses of a Dark Seal

If they made Heartseeker an equippable skill then instead of it being an passive, then this game would have been an lot more fun. Like giving it to an Warrior kind of fun. Sure, Poison Strike has it's uses; but this is mainly against monsters. Lifetaker would work on an frontliner, but you're trading quite an few good levels in exchange for survivability. The abilities in this game are kind of weird in the sense that you can be whatever you want; but you're limited on what's actually efficient. Being an dark bishop might be useful for an magic unit in the sense that it's built for retaliation against melee; but you don't keep Fiendish Blow or permanently learn any new spells from it. -

Alear is an "Dragon Child" and subsequently an Divine Dragon. The twins are an Mage and an Qi Adept; the latter might promote into Dancer, but I'm mainly basing this off their movement type. There's an Wolf Rider with 5 Mov, but I'm not sure if their movement range is nerfed from being engaged with Lyn. Vander is an Paladin, which appears to be an promoted class. Louis is an Lance Armor, but I'm not sure if the prefix carries over to stuff like "Sword Armor." Maybe we'll find out around next week, or so. Let's see: Axe Fighter, Archer, and an Thief were also occupied by the tertiary characters. Wing Tamer is an little bit weird on account of them being used by the two princesses from Illusia. There's also an Griffin Rider or something, not exactly sure how it fits in with the other fliers. Enemy Bow Knights are in one of the desert/beach map, for some reason. There's Sentinel & Pickett. Alcryst's promoted class is "Elite Sniper" in French. Rosemary is an Hero Noble is character-specific. And one of the earlier trailers featured an enemy swordsman, but it appears that those are kind of rare, for some reason. So, that's around 20 classes. Out of all of them, we get at least 4 mages and 2, probably 3 healers. Most of the cast appears to favor lances, but I doubt if this will be as an big as an deal as this sounds. And one thing that I've noticed is that there hasn't been an generic barbarian or an mounted mage. -
What we know of Engage's mechanics so far.

I guess that particular generic Covert is a Thief, which does have 5 movement like our friend Yunaka here I find it a bit weird that she's unarmed, though. Otherwise, her stats are somewhat identical to Rosemary (who's an Lv 5 Hero/Backup with 5 Mov). And it would be kind of weird if there's only two tiers of regular classes and the nobles greatly outperform the regular ones (not that this is an unusual), since anything that takes place after Brodia has an lot of people promoted into something that has 5 movement. -

Yeah, the main thing that I want to point out about this is that Alcryst is at Lv. 1 in that screenshot and that the fact that his class is called Elite Sniper, I'm somewhat convinced that this is his promoted Lord Class. Plus, he has 4 Move in this bridge battle while we don't have an frame of reference of exactly when do we travel to the desert kingdom And it also turns out that the basic Archer class still has 4 mov. Who knows, maybe they'll be unhindered by forest tiles or something. 4-5 points of movement isn't exactly an lot to work with in an group of 12 people; but it's not much of an issue, going by these trailers. -
Characters who are loved/hated on tumblr
Armchair General replied to GronderWarrior's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I haven't been on Tumblr in years, and even I know that this an oddly specific take. And also, I fucking hate that site for forcing me to make an account just to browse it. But I've managed to find an workaround and it appears that the OP is full of it, going solely by the recent and top posts. -

Actually, it's "Covert" and coincidentally, Alcryst's class name is French for "Elite Sniper" So yeah, he's Takumi 2.0, folks; but with worse stats And here's Alear's promoted class since I was busy taking screenshots (it appears that it doesn't automatically comes with an new version of Liberation). -

I'd say those turrets from Fates, but those only weakens up to five enemies. -

Or, it could be directly related to Alear. Might be related to their hairstyle -
Guessing Thread: Since we pretty much think Fire Emblem Engage might still have LGTB Supports in it like Fates & Three Houses, what playable characters besides Alear do you guess that they could possibly be LGTB? (Legacy FE Characters don't count)
Armchair General replied to King Marth 64's topic in Fire Emblem: Engage
It would probably be from an handful of the retainers, and the royalty from that desert kingdom. Other than that, it almost feels that around half of the characters that were already revealed prefers to keep themselves -

Well, Alcryst's trailer also had him going up against an Pegasus Knight armed with an sword. I know that some of earlier games did this kind of stuff; but it feels like they're still holding out on an lot of info, though. Maybe each variant learns an new set of skills or something? Or that most non-royal units can use the entire weapon triangle as an compromise for something? As of now, Bucheron is still the one guy who's shown with an axe; so there might be an means of easily replacing your axe-wielder in case if the worst happens? -

But it was kind of foreshadowed that there's something seriously wrong with that sword that was given from Garon when it threw you in the Bottomless Canyon, though
