  1. Yeah, you're supposed to kill the mage with Chloe and use Louis to distract (and eventually kill) the archer as the rest of your army fights their way towards them. With the exception of gold and certain materials, nearly everything that you earn is easily renewable. Hard kinda offers an fair challenge if you don't grind, but you'll be getting some pretty great units once you get to Chapter 6. As for optimal strategies goes, you really need to pay attention to your army composition and how you arrange them
  2. He's an armor knight, it kind of comes with the territory. And the fact that nearly everyone starts off with 4 movement also means that his (lack of) mobility is something that you don't need to plan for
  3. Most of the bonuses that they provide are kind of interesting, but I'd rather have the battalions or an skill tree. With Engage, the ghosts kind of fell out of focus after the intro and when Morion was killed.
  4. They do and it's fucking annoying Honestly, that's essentially an waste of an turn in the early game. I would rather just eat the hit or rush them with Louis. Conversely, this also applies to them, as well. Considering how I was initially trying to farm these for money, this kind of defeats the point of doing them. And I kind of disagree about using Sigurd because Overide while does kill stuff, it usually leaves me out of position. Plus, the only thing that I get out of it is an free Ridersbane, which isn't as useful as Seraphim, in my opinion
  5. I thought the insane amount of customization in 3H fixed that problem? There's nothing stopping you from turning your axe-wielding armor knight into an cheap archer just by giving them an bow.
  6. I won't be surprised if the DLC does an better job of explaining the backstory than the actual game, lmao
  7. In an way, it's kind of realistic to have an dedicated convoy unit on the field. With the way things are, nowadays, you'd have to pull either your lord or someone else out of formation to rearrange some items
  8. It's kind of good when it comes to farm experience; but it also leaves Framme and Jean in an bit of an bind when it comes to disarming people with their low strength rating
  9. At least Brodia and Solm have the local terrain working for them. As for Firene, it's kind of ironic that most of the characters from the peace-loving kingdom are obsessed with hitting the gym. And I would mention that an three-way peace agreement would have eliminated the need for maintaining an army, but that kind of depends on what Elusia was doing in the past 1,000 years to justify that.
  10. Basically, any one of them would do. Just be sure to hold off on spending them because the cost of the higher tier abilities doesn't scale with the price of the first few that you get.
  11. I'm up to the siege map in Brodia, and while Louis has been absolutely perfect; it's kind of tricky getting everyone to catch up to him. The closest that I have is Etie, Alfred ( who is already underperforming), and Boucheron but it really says an lot when most of your initial frontline can barely win an fight on their own. Frame is essentially trash outside of being an healer
  12. Hit percentage is attacker's hit rate (which is an combination of their skill stat and weapons accuracy + whatever skills are activated) subtracted by the target's evasion ration. So with your example, your hero has an 33% of being hit. As for how it's rolled,I'm not exactly sure. Usually, it's takes an random number from an certain range and if it's equal or less than the given hit rate, the attack should connect.
  13. Forts give you 30 Avo, provides Unbreakable, and restores 10 health per turn. In fact, most of the terrain that I seen, so far,.gives either 30 Avoid or heals you 10 points
  14. Yeah, terrain is more or less the same, with the added bonus of being immune to getting disarmed if you're on an fort or an certain type of heal tile. And I didn't catch the restorative bonus those types of terrain provides.
  15. As it is, it's probably this formula Strength + (Weapon's Might x Effective damage bonus) + any applicable skills and buffs - your opponents defense= the amount damage that you're dealing. I'm not exactly sure if there are any magical weapons in this game. I won't be surprised if they are any; but an rule of thumb is that it's basically anything that isn't an spellbook causes physical damage
  16. The worst that usually happens is them deleting your account after an few warnings
  17. You'll get an warning or something if there's actually an copyright claim; but that'll be an bridge that you'll cross when you get there
  18. Well, you won't know until you try, considering how often an game's ost gets ripped and posted on there
  19. I don't see why it shouldn't be enabled, considering how many Bond Fragments that you need to buy everything
  20. It's an percentage. Basically, the 106 is your character's accuracy rating; your actual hit rate is usually the sum of your Dex and your weapon's Hit stat. You take this value and subtract it by your opponents Avoid/Evasion rating and the difference is your chance to hit that guy.
  21. Yeah, but I was kind of expecting Vander and the twins to be getting more lines. I'm just too used to how the 3DS games and 3H treated the cast, I guess
  22. Well, he was also complaining about the pacing of the first handful of chapters, along with just how out of touch the writing is. And another thing that I noticed that the only recurring characters in the cutscenes are the royals, for some reason. So far, it's just Alfred plus an temporary occurrence of whatever character is joining your army up until you get to Brodia; which is kind of annoying, tbh
  23. With Hard, they're inactive when they appear and you get an tip to be careful around forts, stairs, and the edges of the map. I'm not sure about maddening, though, considering how the only example that I have is on Chapter 4 and that set of abominations don't move as soon as they spawn. But I can see this changing in the later levels, though
  24. An extremely accurate review of the quality of this game's writing Seriously, his reaction to the next cut scene after this is fucking hilarious
