  1. Man I totally forgot about the Almyrans. That's how inconsequential they were to the story lol. I mean I guess...in VW they help out Claude and co. on that one map where you are taking down the Empire's fortress. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I feel like the story wouldn't have been any different if they hadn't helped at all. And unless i'm forgetting something else, that's pretty much all Almrya contributes to VW's story. In AM, there is that one chapter where Claude needs aid and if you play your cards right on the map, you can save all his allies. I never played CF or SS, but I briefly looked through a walkthough for CF, and you pretty much kill off Claude and end the last shred of fighting power the Alliance/Leicester had in one chapter right? I know you can choose to spare Claude, but even if you do, he vanishes from the rest of the story. Which makes more sense in CF since he looses control of the Alliance/Leicester, and all his allies are dead(unless you recruited all the GD characters cept Hilda of course)once the Empire takes over. It makes less sense in AM when Claude just....peaces out from the story...I was kind of annoyed by that. It's just briefly mentioned in some lines of exposition that the Alliance agrees to side with Dimitri/Fargheaus. But I guess that's because the AM story was so narrowly set on it being all about Dimitri vs. Edelgard...
  2. played the game at launch. played VW, then AM. Was totally burnt out after my second playthrough and haven't picked up the game again. Reflecting back on the game a year later, I'm def in the same boat with some other folks where where I've become more critical over 3H. Agree with everyone's criticisms here. There's been other rpgs I've played where I will reflect back to it, and realize the criticisms kinda out weight all the things I liked about it. When it comes to that, I'm kinda torn between 3H or Persona 5. Folks regard Persona 5 has some masterpiece/best JRPG to ever exist in past years, but I had many issues with it. Yet I'd probably be more likely to go play Persona 5 Royal before picking up 3H again. That's because I have little to no desire to play the Crimson Flower route. I just can't see myself siding with Edelgard. I know I should form my own opinion, but I would go to this forum and read through all the Edelgard-related threads of folks discussing her character. After reading through all the crazy-in depth discourse folks had over her, I still I don't think I could ever like her and take her side. I think the biggest sore spot is how TWSITD had to be implemented into the story, and Edelgard having to rely on them for her route. TWSITD really needed to not be in the game whatsoever. They were so poorly implemented into the story. and I KNOW they are allegedly taken out in the Crimson Flower route if you do certain paired endings that mentions them being eliminated, but that doesn't count. That's just lazy writing That and the thought of having to go through the monastery/pre-war phase for a 3rd time just makes me lose interest in replaying the game. The only slight incentive for me to play Crimson Flower would be because of Jeritiza. Since he was a free DLC. I'm still super salty that male Byleth only got one dude to romance, Lindhardt, who I was pretty lukewarm to when it came to their romance/s support. In my VW playthrough I played as male Byleth and recruited Lindhardt to s support him. Yet I had to really force myself to enjoy their romance, which was hardly there. Not making Claude and Dimitri bi and romanceable for male Byleth as an s support is something I'll forever be bitter about. I tried my hardest to like female Byleth when I played AM so I could romance Dimitri...but I just couldn't. I didn't like male Bylth all that much better, or like Byleth that much as an mc in general honestly. The romances with Byleth and the characters just felt so..meh. On the topic of the Cindered Shadows DLC, if it still wasn't $25, that would be another incentive for me to pick up 3H again. The story and characters of the Ashen Wolves piqued my interest, but not enough to drop $25 on. Plus, to get the full advantage/experience of them, you'd have to replay the VW and AM routes again due to the supports with Claude and Dimitri And yeah, I still consider 3H to be a good game, and don't regret my time with it. Maybe someday I'll go back to it. Be nice in the DLC went on sale.
  3. Not gonna shy away from spoilers since I'm still on the fence about paying for the season's pass to get this DLC since honestly I wasn't all that impressed with the past 3 waves of DLC. Plus you'd basically have to play through all three houses to get the full experience of this DLC because of the supports with the Lords, and I'm not ready to do that quite yet. Already have a backlog of video games on top of new games coming out soon, namely Animal Crossing which is gonna take over my life haha. Will keep checking on on this thread to get more infos and to see what folks's opinions are of the DLC. I do wonder if there will be any future DLC, whether paid DLC or continued free DLC. AT this point hasn't 3H been the best selling FE game? Intys could do more with this game is they so chose to. Unless they can;t to focus on future projects, plus this games development mostly came from Keoi, so who who knows.
  4. pulling from reddit, the datamines have said that Yuri is the only bi support for Byleth. I'm all for Yuri, but it is lightly disappointing we are getting yet another feminine bi option for M!Byleth. Better than nothing I GUESS, but would have preferred the bi option to be Balthus to give players more choice in variety. Here's more info on the supports, under spoilers just in case.
  5. well I guess that confirms the S support with Jeritza and Byleth is romantic. It looks like it also sorta Also also, they clearly got a new artists for Jertitza's S support CG illustration, because it looks a million times better than what we got in the base game hah.
  6. I'm kinda torn on Jeritza. I guess we can't complain too much since it's a free DLC and I guess the developers didn't feel the need to give his character a whole ton of content. On one hand, it's nice to have another male S support for M!Byleth, but on the other hand, this support is locked to only one route. Yeah that's the same case with Edelgard and Rhea but still. Also, we don't know yet if the S support is even romantic? Could be another Alois and Gilbert situation which would be kinda shitty. Wish they coulda found a way to make Jeritza join the BL but it wasn't meant to be I guess. Then Jertitza's supports. So the only other support he gets besides Byleth is Mercedes, which is a no brainer, but that means you have to snag Mercedes away from the BL, which feels so wrong to me personally lol. To me, Mercedes is one of the top characters who makes no sense to ever join sides with Edelgard, but whatever. It just seems a bit silly that you have Jeritza, who was so underutilized in the base game, not have any supports with the Black Eagles characters. They coulda at least given him a support with Edelgard. I still haven't played the CF or SS route yet, but this 3rd wave DLC still isn't enough for me to drop the $25 on the DLC and pick up the game again. Will wait for the 4th and final DLC to see if it's worth it to me.
  7. Just got done w/ch. 20 in my BL run. Now I really hope there could be a way for Jertiza to be playable in BL. Yeah they'd have to rewrite some things here and there, idk how they'd do it , especially considering all the times DK is an enemy on multiple maps and then of course ch.20. Yet considering DK is the most "involved" in BL due to Mercedes, it be nice if Jertiza could be in BL somehow. Otherwise you'd have to recruit Mercedes into a BE-E run, which I personally couldn't see myself doing. It feel so wrong to me after doing a BL run hah. It certainly be nice considering how much wasted potential Jertiza was. I guess you could argue in a BE-E run, having Mercedes go against Jertiza and as the player use Jertiza to murder Mercedes would add more "enjoyable" tragic effect to the story and also for players who like to be sadistic by going on a slaughterfest in their BE-E run.
  8. Definitely feel like a lot of the paid DLC content should have been free or of course in the base game to begin with, but of course this is the reality of gaming we live in now. I agree with @Humanoid that I’m not yet convinced enough to drop $25 bucks for the expansion pack to get the next waves of DLC. I’m planning to put 3H down for a while after completely finishing my BL run I’m doing now. Still need to do a BE run, but I’m just too burnt out. It’s been a fun ride with 3H, but there’s so many other games that I wanna play on my Switch to keep be busy for a while. So I’m hoping I’ll find the next waves of DLC worth it enough to pick up the game again to do a BE run, or depending on which routes Jeritza will be playable.
  9. speaking to who I recruited in my GD run and now my BL run, and whether I think they fit well... in GD I recruited Caspar and Linhardt so they could be together. I also recruited them in my BL run. SO far I've felt that this pair fit better with the GD? Linhardt is interesting with some of his monastery dialogue, about how he feels like the others don't trust him because he's from the Empire. Caspar's personality isn't all that different btw GD and BL? Plus having Caspar in BL means who get his Paralougue with Mercedes. I also didn;t wanna have to kill them in my BL run 😞 I've also recruited both Pertra and Dorothea. I've found they are both about equal for both GD and BL in terms of fitting in well? I also did Petra and Claude's paired ending in my GD run. I thought they made a really good couple, much more so over Claude and Hilda imo. Dorothea gets along so well with everyone no mater what house she is in it seems. Recruited Sylvain for my GD run. He gets really morose and almost depressed post time skip in GD run. Made me feel bad for him. I did pair him but with Dorothea though. their support and paired ending was pretty good. Recruited Ashe to GD so I didn't have to kill the poor boy in ch.16. Other than enjoining his supports with Caspar and Cyril, I didn't feel like Ashe added too much story-wise to GD I recruited Bernadetta and Ferdinand in my BL run, didn't in my GD run and they had to die :c. Ferdinand becoming very anti Empire in BL makes a lot of sense. Bernadetta is worth recruiting to BL because of her support with Felix. Otherwise she doesn't add much outside of her other supports. from for my BL l run I recruited Marianne, Lsyithea and Raphael. I've found they don't add tooooo much to the story-feel of BL? All the supports they have with the BL characters are pretty good though, Like Dimitri x Marianne, Dimitri and Raphael is amusing, Felix and Lsyithea is funny and sweet. Raphael x Ingrid is another amusing one. I also recruited Lorenz into my BL run. He fits in pretty well with the BL? I never felt like he was super duper loyal to the Alliance? With Claude, it's not until the very end of the game or if you do his A support with Claude that he shows true genuine benevolence that he is happy being with the GD? It kinda feels more like he was just going with the flow, idk. His father becomes pro-Empire after the time skip in GD, but that's quick resolved. It kinda happens the same way in BL. Lorenz appears as an enemy in ch.16, but if you spare with with Byleth, Lorenz's father defects from the Empire as he did in GD. SO I think he could go either way in GD or BL. Haven't played either of the BE routes, but I do agree that hardly any of the BL crew joining makes sense. I think it would only make sense if you recruited Sylvain, Felix, and Ingrid all to the BE-E route. Breaking any of them apart would just feel so wrong haha.
  10. I mean, while all four routes have plenty of holes needing story content that could fit well to DLC, hasn't IS said the story DLC will have nothing to do with the main story? Charging money for missing content that should have been in the game's main story to begin with would be pretty shady. So many fans want an extension of Edelgard's route, but it would only be fair to balance it out by adding content for the other routes too. It would be a lot of work and I doubt IS would do it unless there is a bunch of unused cut content that they could put into DLC.
  11. in my GD run, I spoke to the Gatekeeper and chose Linhardt, and he showed up. in my BL run, spoke to the Gatekeeper again and I chose Dimitri, but, and unless my brain is mis-remembering this, but I got a cut scene with him and F!Byleth after leaving the dance hall? Then when I went to the Goddess Tower, Dimitri showed up again. So if you are doing a BL run but pick someone else/have a higher support level w/someone who isn't Dimitri, will you still get the cut scene with him after leaving the dance hall, and then when you go to the Goddess Tower the character of your choosing/the one who have the highest support with will show up?
  12. To add on to the constant use of recycled maps, the other extremely frustrating thing is that we don't get a single map from the Faerghus region where it's some sort of tundra-cold atmosphere? The BL members go on about how cold Faerghus is, but the player never gets to play a map with any snow or any thing to indicate being in a cold environment.
  13. on the topic of LGBT stuff, I've seen folks point out some translations underplaying some of the homoerotic dialogue between Catherine and Shamir's support where Shamir talking about marriage is a little more emphasized with a closer Japanese translation. I've seen a more literal translation of Sylvain and Felix's paired ending, which was also more homoerotic in tone than the official English translation we got. I saw this all on twitter some time ago, so trying to find the tweets as proof would be difficult to track down again. The thing about translating anything from Japanese to English with any romantic wording though, is that there are so many nuances with Japanese words like like/love. I good example was the new sub for Evangelion released on Netflix that caused some fan outcry. Although typically fan translations tend to be a little more literal it seems? So whether its the translation team trying to tamp down on the homoerotic overtones to not offend Western audiences? Or just the liberties they decided to make with the translation. non-Japanese reading players are basically at the mercy of the translation/localization team and can only hope they do the translation justice. We'll never know. At least it's a big improvement from Fates. I remember there was a lot of controversy surrounding the translation of that game wasn't there? My memory isn't good enough to remember other than how some folks treated the localization of of Fates like it was a complete dumpster fire.
  14. Just figured out you can't buy all this DLC separately....:c I guess I was naive when looking at the Super Smash Bros DLC, where you could buy each fighter individually. Breath of the Wild, you could also buy the two different DLC packs they released separately too.... That is unfortunate, personally not ready to drop that much money for the DLC content available right now. Might wait and see if the 3rd DLC wave is worth it enough to buy the whole expansion pass....
  15. I have to say, doing my BL run, The Flame Emperor and Jeralt's death is so much more impactful in BL than how it was when doing my GD run. Before Jeralt gets killed, you are treated to a cut scene with Dimitri spying on the Flame Emperor and that's where he gets back the dagger he gave to Edelgard but doesn't want to believe what could possibly be the truth. All the dialogue with Dimitri before and after you kill Kronya also made me care more about Jeralt's death. Because honestly? I could really care less about Jeralt's death in my GD run. Since Claude doesn't know what its like to go through a tragic loss of losing parents and loved ones like Dimitri does, there wasn't much of a emotional impact btw Byleth and Claude when Jeralt died. Also I definitely agree that Edelgard would probably have been perfectly happy if Byleth never escaped from the Darkness Realm that Solon put them into. Think about it, getting rid of Byleth before starting her starting her war against the Church, would have made Edelgard unstoppable. She's be able to steamroll over Dimitri effortlessly, and Rhea not having Byleth to fight for her. Sure in BE-E Edelgard has Byleth to help her take down Rhea, but I'm sure Edelgard could have still found a way to do it w/put Byleth's power, she'd probably have to rely on TWSID more or something.
  16. I think they should have made it an even playing field by making all the Lords bi Support options. People argue how canon and perfect F!Byleth and Dimitri is, like it plays out like your typical shoujou romance story...But I’ve seen people on reddit point out that the dialogue btw both Byleths and Dimitri isn’t all that different? Just some changes here and there to make some lines more gender specific. So I don’t think the Dimitri can only be full heterosexual argument holds up too much? While I think Claude should have also been a bi option, after playing his route, the relationship btw him and Byleth felt more platonic? I played as M!Byleth, but I was asking myself, “if I was playing as F!Byleth, would I really be feeling romantic overtones?” Not to mention, after you get Claude’s S support Then there are all the other characters with arguably plenty of gay subtext? Especially with The Black Eagles. You have HubertxFerdinand DorotheaxPetra, and well, Dorothea with any female character honestly. While Caspar and Linhardt’s paired end does the “they were BFFs but no homo” their C-A support is not romantic whatsoever, so I wouldn’t argue for making Caspar a bi option The Blue Lions...Sylvain is a hopeless womanizer, but his A+ support and paired ending with Felix is arguably pretty homoerotic. I didn’t save it, but a I saw someone on tumblr do a more literal translation of their paired ending from Japanese, and it’s even more homoerotic. Ashe could have been an option? Idk, when I did his A support with M!Byleth, Ashe gets so happy and emotional, and hard blushes. It was pretty sweet. then of course there’s Catherine and Shamir. Why they weren’t bi support options for F!Byleth is baffling. Because not including Rhea, there are no bi S support options for F!Byleth who are adults. Also the translations for Catherine and Shamir are another example where the actual Japanese text was more homoerotic than the translation the localization team gave. Although many who are fluent enough in Japanese have questioned some of the translation choices made by the translation team, which is a bit unfortunate, but no surprise either. tl;dr IS took a couple steps forward by giving F!Byleth 5 bi S supports, but then several steps back for how they handled the bi S support options for M!Byleth, and all the non-commital homoerotic subtext with all the other characters I mentioned. with how IS handled S supports in general with 3H, it’s hard to predict what’ll be like with the next mainline FE game. This game should have been the one to give the most bi S support options for both Byleth’s. But they kinda blew it, and I can’t say I have much confidence for them to improve on that in future games
  17. mlm stands for men loving men. Any easy way to describe the lgbt options for romancing in this game. So if you play as M!Byleth, your only option is to romance Linhardt. Many fans argued that IS shoulda made all 3 Lords bi S support options to make it fair. Claude definitely radiates that bi energy. Dimitri is so emotionally invested in Byleth, I feel like it wouldn’t have been hard at all to change his dialogue a little to make him a bi option. but what’s done is done and I don’t see IS putting in a patch to make Claude and Dimitri bi S support options for Byleth I do wish the game found a way to not have to call Byleth professor anymore after the time skip, but because it is a little awkward and slightly skeevy if you were bothered by the student and teacher relationship concept to begin with
  18. If you are really into the S supports for the game, then F!Byleth has it the best I'd argue Since she can S Support all three lords, while M!Byleth can only S support Edelgard since IS said f**k mlm rights by not making Claude and Dimitri bi options. F!Byleth can also S support Dorothea and Mercedes. It's hard to count Rhea and Sothis, I mean, I highly doubt any players S support Rhea or Sothis as F!Byleth? mlm folks only get Linhardt. Not into Linhardt as an S support? then too bad for you mlm players(I S supported him as M!Byleth on my GD run). People like to joke that playing as F!Byleth in the BL route is like playing an otome game, and it's pretty true i'll admit. I'm doing my BL run as F!Byleth. Fans gush so much over how "canon" F!Byleth's relationship is with Dimitri. I'm still in pre-time skip mode, and can so far sorta understand why fans love their pairing. Will see how I feel about it once i'm done with this run. I personally just have a mildly irrational distaste of F!Byleth's design. Yes, her outfit is awful. But it's also those huge, soulless eyes of hers. It's like staring into an abyss. Usually when characters that have big bright anime eyes, it allows them to be more emotive, but not with F!Byleth. She just looks dead inside. I played as M!Byleth on my first run, GD route, and while M!Byleth didn't emote much, I wasn't as bothered by it? In some ways I'd say he was better at emoting that F!Byleth. It doesn't help when you are doing the supports with the other characters as F!Byleth, and when those characters start getting super emotional, you just have F!Byleth blankly staring back at them. It just really bothers me for some reason. I realize how petty that sounds, but it breaks the immersion for me idk. I did have this experience sometimes when playing as M!Byleth, but with F!Byleth it's so much worse.
  19. it's random. sort of? It depends a lot on how many characters you have recruited from the other two houses before the competition. I had an interesting experience during my GD run. I wanted to make Linhardt as my dancer, but despite having 13 pts of charm which allegedly was the required amount to win, he couldn't win no matter how many times I soft reseted before giving up. For BE, Dorothea was the contestant ever single time. for BL it was Ashe and one time Dedue which made no sense. For the judging, there was only one time where my Linhardt got a vote. I had a couple save files where I could re-do the dancing cup with another competitor. I chose Flayn. Once again the BE contestant was Dorothea and the BL contestant was Felix this time. My Flayn won first time. I've seen a screencap on twitter once where if, you recruit all the students from the other two houses on whatever route you are doing, the three Lords will be the dancing competitors. Although I guess you have to pick the Lord as the dancing contestant of whatever house you are in. doing a BL run now on a NG+ file, and just started ch.9. I recruited Dorothea this time, who I will choose as my contestant. I have also recruited every other BE member except for Hubert. So I am gonna be curious who will be the BE dancing contestant haha. I also recruited all the GD crew except for Hilda, Igntaz and Leonie. SO it'll either be one of them or Claude
  20. Completely ignoring the Church route, I've seen the argument made either go BE>BL>GD or GD>BL>BE. It also depends if you are going into it completely blind, or are aware beforehand about what the stories are like, how the Lords are handled. I went GD first, and while you get all this lore given to you, Edelgard and Dimitri's roles are pretty paltry. Especially with Dimitri. He got done so dirty in the GD route. Then there's Edelgard. She's the villain, but the emotional weight the game tries to throw on you with her and Byleth feels completely unwarranted. BL feels like a good middleground experience, you get to see Dimitri's full character. He's basically a deranged murderous lunatic in the GD and BE routes. Playing his route before or after the BE-E route might make you appreciate or at least understand his character better? I know he has a lot of haters from the hardcore Edelgard stans who are steadfast on never changing their opinion of him after playing his route. Yet if you do BL first, then you have to experience him being that deranged murderous lunatic for the next two routes. It might be kind of a jarring experience? idk. also, in the BL route, Claude at least has more of a presence in the route, ch.19 is basically dedicated to him. In BE-E, you quickly eliminate the Alliance and have the option to kill Claude off if you want to. So if you go GD>BL>BE you will have gotten the full Claude experience before killing him and all those dearest to him in BE-E. Where as if you go BE-E first, you might not care as much about Claude and co. since you barely got to know him pre-time skip. Then by playing the other routes you get that full Claude experience. I have noticed that some folks who go BE or BL first, are more indifferent towards Claude since he doesn't have such a deep emotional relationship with Byleth as Edelgard and Dimitri do? I'm glade I started with GD. Doing my BL run now, but I think I'm gonna have to take a good long break before doing a BE run. I'm already feeling the burnout doing the monastery phase again in BL. Having to do that ALL over again in BE run. Nah. I have more or less willingly spoiled myself about everything that happens in the BE route, and read all the lengthy detailed discussions about Edelgard and so on. So I'm not completely in the dark. I also recruited all the BE students besides Hubert of course, so I can at least experience all the supports btw the BE students. I know they behave differently when not in their BE house, but eh, I don't care.
  21. Playing as F!Byleth on my BL run and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to her awful professor outfit. I’ve come to overlook the leggings, but that belly window is just so bad. That and her giant eyes, which doesn’t help with her constant deadpan expressions. I’m also dreading her awful appearance with her Enlightened one costume. that’s all complaints about aesthetic stuff though. I’m kinda 50/50 on Byleth as a character personality wise. Which they hardly have any. Yes, Corrin was awful in most aspects, but I think IS took it a liiitlllle too far with the self insert ness of Byleth. They are just too dull for my liking, and for players like me who don’t get so into injecting self into self insert mcs, it’s just kinda a meh experience.
  22. I used her a lot in my GD run, however I would hardly use her Thunderbrand since repairing it was a pain. She kinda fell off for me towards end game though, while I didn't have very many sword units, most of my other team became better than her anyways. Her mobility was trash too. Personality-wise, she suffered the same traits as Cyril did, never being able to shut up about how great Rhea was. The only support of hers I really liked was with Shamir. The start of their support, Catherine idolizes Rhea so much, but Shamir eventually helps Catherine realize that maybe Shamir is also important to her. While I loved how in their A+ support that these two are another example of IS waving gay subtext in the face of players, but not making either character S supports for F!Byleth
  23. since this topic has resurfaced again: For any one who had Lysithea on their team, did anyone get completely RNG screwed with her? I'm on my BL run, and as I started to level her up, she'd only be getting +1 on two different stats, over, and over, and over again. I was completely baffled. Didn't have this bad luck on my GD run. I was hoping she'd be a total nuke again for my team, but she'd already at level 13 and her stats so far are awful. Hopefully I'll still be able to salvage her, but I am a little upset about it haha.
  24. on my GD run, I recruited all the BE crew except for Ferdie and Bernie. Used Petra a lot once I made her into a Wyvren Rider/Lord. Linhardt was good to have as a second mage, plus he gets warp before Lysithea does. He was such a squishy unit though, could easily get KO'd if he got hit twice in a row, didn't use him as much in endgame. Caspar, he wasn't that much better than my Raphael, would swap them in an out when doing Auxiliary battles n' such. Also paired Caspar up with Hilda. Loved their support and paired ending. I recruited Dorothea because I didn't want to kill her, and I wanted to witness for myself the dialogue she has about Ferdie after you kill him to make myself sad haha. but I got her right before the time skip, and didn't end up using her as a battle unit. Only recruited one BL member, which was Sylvain. At first I only recruited him for his supports with the GD characters, but I ended up trying to get him to be a Leonie replacement. He never became that strong of a unit though, despite how much I tried to use him in Auxiliary battles. In my BL run I'm gonna put him on a Wyvren. Recruited all the neutral characters, used Cyril some at first, but ultimately only used Shamir as my Igntaz replacement, and Catherine as another sword unit. Just started my BL run, Intend to recruit all the BE members this time. how many of them i'll constantly use in battle is another question though. Will def use Petra the same way I did in my GD run. If Ashe gets RNG screwed, I might try to beef up Bernie as my bow unit. I'd rather change things up a bit and not rely so much on Shamir again. Will make Dorothea my dancer this time instead of Flyan. As for the other BE members, not sure yet. Gotta get back Lysithea again, Marianne for story reasons, Lorenz since he is the unit in BL you get the option of sparing/recruiting post time skip if you recruited him pre-time skip. Wouldn't have wanted to kill him. He was a monster as a Dark Knight, might do them same thing in my BL run. I wasn't gonna recruit any other GD unit, but when I saw all the supports Raphael has with the BE and BL characters, I'm gonna get him too. Taking Hilda away from Claude in BL feels like it would take away from the story for me, so I'll let her stay with him. Will try my best to avoid killing Igntaz and Leonie, even though they were my least favorite characters hah....will recruit all the neutral characters again, but mostly only for their supports and Paralogues.
  25. as great as the Nemesis battle was in GD, it did feel like kind of an asspull moment in the story. He is so built up throughout the story, and then just shows up after ch.21. and is the endgame boss. We don't even know how TWSITD were keeping him entombed that entire time, if it was explained I missed it. Then you just kill him and that's it. I WISH SO MUCH Rhea could have assisted you in battle against Nemesis. The story made the relationship btw Rhea/The Church and TWSITD/Nemesis such a big deal, but it didn't really pay off imo. Then there's Rhea at the end of ch. 21. She dumps a bunch of exposition on the player and then completely disappears to recover from her injuries. I seriously thought I was missing something. No blurb of text about what happens to Rhea in the epilogue, nothing. I guess you really have to play the Church route huh? I'm kinda mixed on the last couple chapters of GD as a whole, and like others have said here, I think the story would have been better if some of the Church route elements had been added in Ch. 21 or 22. I also expected Claude to have more of a confrontation/serious talk with Rhea about the Church and everything else considering he was so hellbent on getting answers from her. Yet Rhea just gives Claude a quick history lesson, and he takes her word for it and it goes no where after that. Then Nemesis comes back and Claude and co. know they have to stop him, the game ends, and Claude goes off on his journey to end racism. It all just felt kinda incomplete
