And satisfying the status quo isn't any of my concern, so I'm fine with it. yeah well it's pretty annoying to have this "natural" part of you that doesn't really give you anything. It's like being hungry all the time but not actually being fed. I don't really think that works as well as people think it does, it's only a temporary solution at best. As someone who was absitent for many years, I can tell you it only made it worse, rather than actually fix the problem.

I live in the Southern Hemisphere, but I don't think that's the issue. One of my questions I'm wondering about, is when is it normal for the fans to ramp up. For all I know, it could be something normal and nothing to worry about, or if I should always keep the graphics a bit lower to avoid that (what I've been doing this whole time). I wanted to try to improve the graphics, but I'm reluctant because of that. But then the game still runs perfectly when I raise the settings at 1080p, so is it also fine to assume it's not really an issue? I think the fans are at least fairly clean, since I open it regularly. As far as specific settings go, I have most of them set to medium, and I set the Shadows to low since I don't think makes a big difference. Vsync was always set on.

How do people even find this shit.

I'm playing Genshin Impact, and I played a lot with different graphics settings. I keep switching between 720p and 1080p and I seriously can't tell the difference, unless I'm really trying to find it. Is it really that unnoticable? I'm trying to find the right balance so it doesn't overly heat or exhaust my computer, maybe I'm just being paranoid. The game still runs at a smooth 60fps either way, and doesn't seem to ramp up the fans unless there's many things going on in-game.

It's kind of annoying to be horny and impatient. Does more harm than good, if you ask me. I don't recall one good thing that came from it. It's probably fine if you have a partner of some sort (not me), so you can see where I'm coming from.

I don't think I am bad at learning, it I managed to learn it really quick and do really well afterwards. I didn't recall taking offense from what you said, though. It's funny because it's actually quite respectful way of saying it. :D

I disrespectfully disagree. They were definitely bad teachers. The nice lady who taught me got me to learn in an instant.

I lived in the U.S as a kid, and specifically during those years. It was almost non-existent. I found an original SA Big The Cat over here, and it's really strange it'd be at a toystore in Argentina but not the U.S during it's release.

When I was younger (12, to be exact), I had to take some exams to enter into my high school. So for that, they had me prepare and take tutoring lessons for Math and Language, respectively. I think these lessons were slightly expensive, but apparently the tutors were somewhat renowened, and my friend also went with me. I think I went for a couple of lessons, but ultimately got kicked out because I couldn't "get it" or something, and apparently the teachers told my mother I wouldn't pass the exams at this rate. So after that, my mother found another teacher for me, and she was just a humble woman that didn't have any formal place or anything. She was just a normal mother that ocassionally tutored kids. She was very nice, and I only went to very few classes and understood everything a lot faster than the other tutors. Fastforward to the entry exams, and I got 7th place for my results out of many other students. It was kind of surprising for me, because I was never particularly great at school stuff (or so I told myself).

When I was a kid, finding Sonic toys, and let alone general merchendise was extremely rare. It wasn't even like Sonic wasn't popular, since he was always just right behind Mario. I was only lucky to find one action figure in 2002 from SA2 (I still have it) and a Sonic & Knuckles plush dolls I found used at a flee market (I think Sonic was a gift from a friend). Anything else, other than the games themselves, it was pretty much non-existent. And apparently, SA launched their own collection of figures, but I never ever saw them at stores. It wasn't until late 2000s to at least 2010 when Sonic merchendise started feeling waaaaay more common, and you'd easily get anything, from shirts to backpacks. Didn't help my best friend and fellow Sonic fanboy was a huge liar and say things like "I SAW A SONIC TOWEL" or "I SAW THE EGG CARRIER WITH MINI SONIC FIGURES". At least it was fun to believe those things actually existed.

This is awesome. But you're SeverIan. :D I think I relate to that. I used to fucking cry when I woke up at like 11 a.m, because "my day went by" on a fucking Saturday or something, and I never realised that was just my conditioning up at that point. Nowadays I wake up at 4 5 pm and I feel pretty happy, like I still have the night (which is way cooler). NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO How do I get to know more about these "black mage dolls". I also think people idolize their childhood too much. I certainly have happy memories from years ago, but I also don't think I'd prefer to have all these obligations and responsibilities (why do people ignore these? They always existed). I agree with you, because I was also forced to do things I didn't want to, and taken to places I wouldn't feel like. Adult life gives you a certain freedom, even if it's not yet perfect (i.e having enough money and other things). You're old, you little chinese.

wow you actually do get it. Yeah, you're at least halfway there. And another thing, I feel like people misunderstand what it is to really be an adult (not just a man). Like, some people seem to think it's about being serious all the time and always taking things seriously, and that's what I meant when I said people understand maturity too linearly... we're not all this one fixed personality type and that's it, there's aspects to personality and aspects to maturity. There are people that have immature aspects or insecurities, but that doesn't mean you're automatically "immature" for it. And when I think the word "man", I think of all these lame things that make a boring and colourless, lifeless adult and part of a rigorous society.
