It's more so about the paradigm sorrounding being attractive, like I feel those guys (or chicks) expect you to kneel for them or sum shit. Think of it, if you've been attractive your whole life, you basically get special treatment for free, and then you probably just expect it to be that way. It's not like I have something agaisnt them for being attractive, as much as said paradigm and social narrative sorrounding it.

You know that weird thing when you see someone that's "supposed" to be more attractive, like if they're taller and have like one of those really mainstream haircuts. It bugs me because I don't really give a shit, but I know society (and thereby women) consider that more attractive, and I have like this feeling I'm "supposed" to abide by those same rules and thereby lower in this made up social hierarchy. And it bugs me because I don't really agree with it deep down, but you're so used throughout the years to have adopted this societal conditioning, that it's what ends up weighing on me in that way. Does anyone feels this way about similiar subjects? Like as if you're supposed to nod and take things for granted and agree with them, even if you really don't in a deep part of you.

Alright, I overreacted. At the time, it was kind of "touchy" subject in the way you responded, so I do apologise for getting back to you that way. But yeah, it's a definitely a thing, and you realise it as you progress within a competitive enviroment. The more you improve, you realise it demands a certain standard to how comfterble you feel with your controls. If you see a player like M2K (Top 5 best in Melee and Brawl at the time), you'll see dude has like 40 different controllers he used for Melee (a very technically demanding game). Again, you're not into this stuff, but I'm just giving you an example, granted Ultimate isn't nearly as technical demanding as Melee.

I've played competitive Smash for over 10 years, and Ultimate is the only time I ever felt that way about any of them. If anything, I spent the first two years wondering why everything felt so damn weird. Fuck off with with some catchy phrase you just picked up.

Not based on their value as characters/how "useful" they are, just who I find pretty/hot/cute. I've played it since it came out, and bought it 3 years ago. And yes, I do use Joycons, but I also tried GC a 4-5 month period to see if they were the problem, and I liked it even less. And while I also had drift, I managed to fix it on my own without any issue. My issue is with the actual game, not with the controller I'm using.

The grand majority of the time it isn't going to happen. Panne is a super outlier that is insane in any class she changes into. Even if she had way less Def, she still has an insane amount of Avo to dodge them. FE10 is the only game where Wyverns completely broke that rule, they don't even have bow effectiveness (changed it for Thunder, which is less common). They're virtually flying Generals in that game, and the female version ridiculously outclass pegasus in everything that isn't Res.

I'd like to see a flier have nearly as much durability as a General, and even then, they'd still suffer against Bows (a fairly common weapon type).

As a competitive Smash player for years (10 years since Brawl), Ultimate is the only game I realised it's literally the game's fault for being so shitty. I used to never complain or blame about my own character, and it was always my "fault". I always checked myself first, and felt "i just played bad", until I realised Ultimate is literally is holding me back. The controls are ass and irresponsive, half the time it's like it does something else I didn't even do. And 80% of the time it feels I'm losing to bad controls and input delay/bad monitors rather than getting super outplayed. There's so many people I used to beat somewhat easily without even needing to practice a lot, but Ultimate changed. And it's no surprise to me a lot of these people prefer this game, since it outright benefits them. If you're a technical player putting in the heart and effort, the joke's probably on you. If you're a newcomer and you have a really basic playstyle, you can PR in your locals within months, since that's all it takes.

I don't feel like I agree with the ninja ranking system to measure a character's power. I hear people throw around things like "kage level", "genin level", etc, but it doesn't seem to apply at all for a lot of the main Genin. Characters like Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara, Rock Lee and Neji all have ridiculous feats and I could easily see them as Jonin level, and I wouldn't be surprised if they could beat actual Jounins. And then there's guys like Kakashi and Guy, who are clearly no average Jounins. Gaara can probably beat many Jounins at once without even trying, while I'm sure Kakashi and Gai could just oneshot him. Then there's Tsunade, who's a literal Hokage, and yet some guy with medical ninjutsu beat her (granted, Kabuto is pretty good).
