  1. Shame he wastes 55% growth on Lck (maybe he wants to be saved by his bro?). His only niche is being kinda strong, kinda magical and a bit tanky - which just makes him jack of all trades. As for grinding out levels, if I may point that out, chapter 13 is an excellent map to do so - it gives you a choke point whose accessibility you can control and stacking the royal sisters on a unit makes for some neat damage increase/reduction. While I like using Hana I think she´s too weak, too slow and above all, by virtue of being Hana,too frail for Rev. To the point that she can´t really contribute in the next chapter and after that point there´s no reason to bring her along. I think what one has to consider when making her a Priestess is, that the promotion also gives her some Str - so even regular bows should be cool for a bit.

I mean "worth it", depends if you want to grind out the Felicia/Flora support and then do the whole relcassing as that costs some money - but a Witch Felicia with 2 Lv. of Dark Mage to pick up Heartseeker and Malefic Aura will have literally the same stats as a pure Witch Felicia but with a +2 Mag Damage and a -20 Avoid skill for other units to take advantage of too. The stat difference is all around something like -0.05 when compared.
  3. I´m gonna warn you straight up: Having Keaton!Corrin will give you a Kanna/Velouria with both a Dragon and a Beast Weakness. Corrins boon/bane only affect Kanna´s max stats and not her growths. If you want to use Velouria any of the following STR/SPD/DEF Boons with a LCK Bane should get the job done to get a neat Velouria - keep in mind with these boons Corrin too, should remain a competent unit too. As for talents, Wolfsskin as a class are relatively self-sufficient and I can´t really think of any particular skill that´ll help them to a game breaking degree. Keep in mind Kanna has both Nohr Prince/Wolfsskin and Velouria could inherit any Nohr Prince/Noble skill. Maybe Archer to get Certain Blow from Lv. 5 Sniper alongside Quick Draw or Pegasus Knight to get Darting Blow?
  4. Ye, staffbot Flora probably best Flora (I admittedly don´t have much experience with her). Yeah, I´ve been looking at some stats and with the exception of a bit of Mag you should just be able to give Felicia some Lvs. as Dark Flier in case you want to pick up skills without hampering her damage all too much. It´ll probably end up being a case of "convenient but not reliable", i would guess. Though it all depends on her Lv. right now. Not sure a dip into Dark Mage will be all too helpful, but a 2-4 Lv. reclass Witch > Sorceror > Witch also shouldn´t really affect her stats that much. If you just throw her into Witch she should perform just good enough.

Though they should both be entirely competent units in their base classes - consider for example Floras high skill, which I believe ties into Staff Hitrates. Vengeance is rather mediocre and Lifetaker requires them to kill on PP and only restores 50% damage dealt and they may not deal a lot of damage. Flora may make for a really weird, really expensive support unit - getting Rally Skill, Rally Res for the probably occasional use at best and Heartseeker + Inspiration on a Strategist to resolve potential accuracy/damage issues? Or add in Rally Move from Dark Flier and Warp for global Rallying? I don´t really see anythin else for her. I mean she has access to 3 breaker skills - Axe/Shuriken/Bow, but Axe/Bow users would probably 1HKO her and Shuriken Ninjas may be to accurate for her slow self - considering she only averages ~23SPD at 20/20 she´s also guaranteed to be doubled and her Def is low enough for that to become a problem. Oh yeah, since you said DLC there´s Witch and Dark Falcon I suppose but she remains relatively slow. Maybe Great Lord/Dread Fighter could work considering her STR/SKL growth, but she´ll never not be slow. Then again maybe Strong Riposte/Sol/Aggressor/Iron Will/Res+2 Dread Fighter for hard countering Mages, though she´ll probably be eclipsed by Kaze - she´ll have +5STR and -16SPD. Add in a SPD focused PU - maybe a captured enemy, such as Sword Masters (+5SPD/+3LCK), or a Falcon Knight for +3SPD/+1RES/+1MOV or just one player unit you don´t care about. As for Felicia, basically the same for her as with Flora, except she has more MAG/SPD and less STR/SKL. So Witch and Dark Flier may be more interesting. Falcon Knight is essentially a flying Strategist, but you don´t have access to the Bolt Naginata (I think?) and your Weapon Rank will be low anyway. Though you would get Rally SPD . Maybe Inspiration/Demoiselle/Amaterasu from Kinshi could be interesting for a Strategist/Falcon Knight support but that´s also kind of late in the game/expensive. That´s pretty much all I can think off.
  6. Units that are adjacent to each other still gain support though? Even better, every unit adjacent to the fighting unit, that can support said unit will gain support, regardless of whether tthis unit is defending or attacking, allowing for a whole lot more support point gains. According to the wiki.org you get 4 in total - Hinoka joins with one in her inventory and then one GN for Dawn Armory LV. 2 and 2 GN for Dawn Armory LV. 3. In other words, Subaki has no business layings his fingers on a GN ANYTIME before chapter 20 - since you know, there are better lance users available already, like (Azura,) Silas, Hinoka, Oboro, Reina and Scarlett. I also don´t follow your point on having to trade weapons around or how the way Birthright is has any impact on that.
  7. Especially if you ignore Fates Attack Stance system - then again, I don´t get why the REFRESHER attacks in the first place. The only way to get Shigure Spear Fighter line is to have Azura marry an appropriately set up Corrin, or have Shigure marry a f!Kana with Spear Fighter line. As far as I´m aware. Sol would like to have a word with you. Especially when it´s on Xander/Ryoma or a Master Ninja. Then again, being the best of a quite mediocre bunch isn´t something to be proud off. ... or you just use Oboro or Hinoka with the Guard Naginata. Heck, Oboro and Hinoka are superior to Mr. Perfect in every aspect (with the exception of Availability) without needing a special weapon or a backpack or a reclass or a specific skill, .
  8. Perhaps the joke would have been: Eine kleine Legion (A Small Legion), as legion is the same in German (which Roro still falls a few thousand dudes short of being). I also don´t know why someone would use Nachtmusik for an assassin - after listening to it, it isn´t quite the kind of music you´d expect someone to (quietly ) die to. Unless of course it references what wikipedia teaches, that a Nachtmusik is palyed in the evening.
  9. I meant a one time, permanent stat and growth increase - how I managed to fuck this up is beyond me. If you mean one map stat increase that´d be the tonics - first seen, I believe, in FE:NM, but also in Awakening and Fates. I´m not 100% sure i understood what you meant, but may I bring Echoes Dungeons and Locations to your attention? Instead of having a single central hub - if there is to be a hub at all - there should be more hubs in total, all of which should be somewhat open for exploration, maybe even backtracking.

But I´ll also say, get the wannabe meat transformers outta here and give us some actual mixed-up beast races - haven`t Centaur- and Lamia-ish enemies been a thing already? Give us Minotaurs, Centaurs and whatever else lurks around. Hell, I´m fine with adding Chimeras such as Basilisk or Cockatrice.
  11. Stat Boosters provide a one-time stat increase and raise a unit’s growth rate in that stat. Laughs in FE:SoV Swamp. Also, can´t you set the forests in FE:TH on fire?
  12. When´s the last time you looked at a tier list? I´m fairly certain that both Frederick and Seth, though to differing degree are regarded rather highly - not knowing Sacred Stones myself and remembering very little from Awakening (isn´t Seth basically the godking unit of his game?). They fulfill their role though? Tanks be tanking and that they do - on any difficulty other than Maddening. I do not think a units gameplay performance and a units combat strength according to story need to align. Not to mention the relative obscurity of the Crests effects, presuming your comment is directed towards characters such as Edelgard and Hilda?
  13. Has the Beast Runes +10 Crit Avoid been factored into Volugs Crit chance? Also, how many rounds of combat would Volug not be tranformed against Keaton, or be busy using weed? And in regard to Keatons Beastbane and Beastrune: I am fairly certain Fates Beastbane effects - not the weapons but the class skill - only doubles the might of the weapon. Of note would also be, that Fates Beastkin-weaponry has Weapon Rank Bonuses- up to +3Mt/+10Hit I think.
  14. I assume it´s Gold Knight Conrad then? Or Skogul? What Silver Lance are they using? It´s neither the Echoes variation nor the Fates variation is it? Conrad would also not deal any damage as the Echoes Blessed Lance has only 3 might.
  15. Hmmm, looks like I know what to do over December. Anyway, I have been re-reading the first few entries in Alastors topic playing all of FE and what he writes about FE1 has me slightly worried. No enemy range, no combat forecast, no in-game stats on weaponry? Yikes. Of course, this is just a trailer, though from what little the trailer shows it seems like they didn´t add that (as far as I saw). Oh well, it will only be a matter of getting used to it.

  17. Like every Combat Art, that isn´t Subdue, Shove, Swap and Plenitude Hunters Volley requires you to pay some HP. For the price of 8 HP you too shall double an enemy!

I thought that the lands during SOV were pretty damn barren what with the gods blessings having ceased to really work? And Edelgards Empire just had 5 years of war, and is now in the middle of snuffing out the pale buddies? I have one: Rhea and Medeus decide to see who is the worse boss.
  19. Walhart > Alm > Edelgard. People seem to be forgetting he has A ranks in Swords, Lances and Axes. He wields Sol and Wolfbeil and has Rightful King, Aegis and Pavise and you can´t deal effective damage to him and has more movement than these two. Alm probably wouldn´t use Swords, but instead just try to Killer Bow the two, which doesn´t work with Walhart since he has so much movement. Meanwhile Edelgard is stuck in a 5 movement class, with an Armor weakness.

The only way to know whether or not someone wants something from you, or if a quest is still open, is hovering over a hub sign in the worldmap and beneath the description of said hub should be a head wit a small speach bubble if someone wants something - these only disappear if the quest is closed. Other than that, yeah, SF sub-quest page.
  21. I don´t really know enough about SoV to say what weapons are good or not, but I think there are not a lot of good weapons? I hear the Silver Sword is good and has (a) nice Combat Arts? As for Lance, eh? You get a Gradivus in the final Act, but forging it is awfully expensive, Ridersbanes are good because you´ll face a lot of Cavalry at the very least on Alms side. Oh yeah careful with the Blacksmiths – they´ll rip you off exchanging 500 silver for 1 gold but only 100 silver for 1 gold in return. Another thing, as of Act 3 enemies will spawn on the map, that unlike the dead lads on Celicas start will move across the map. Should these enemies run into you on the map they´ll get the first turn. Alm will be able to use bows once he promotes *cough Killer Bow cough*. Oh and Alms and Celicas promotions are storybound. Not really, I think these monsters are quite a bit stronger than anything else in the dungeons and the drop rates in this game are rather low I think? If you want to grind useful items the 2nd item DLC is the best place but even that is tedious as the loot-tables are cramped with next-to-worthless stuff.

I would strongly suggest using this little list to keep track of quests and the like – some quests will require you to send items between your army, some quests will have you collect seemingly random things: https://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-echoes-shadows-valentia/miscellaneous/sub-quests/ Thoroughly explore every inch of a dungeon. Also, it may be of interest for you that there is a secret area later down the line. Another useful thing to know is that SF Main Page offers maps for the dungeons – I can think of two that is useful for (Lost Treescape, Duma Temple). Also, the Mercenary class line will promote all the way to Dread Fighter, who will then be able to promote back into Villagers – effectively giving you a chance to reclass into something else should you wish to do so. Oh yeah, this one is a bit specific, but in Act 1 the boss consists of two people, Slayde and Desaix, the latter holds a Draco Shield – it´s a hassle to get as it gives Desaix a massive boost to survivability (+13Def/Res and passive Recovery on top of being a Baron) and requires you to have Slayde live through the encounter but it´s a nice thing to have. I found this thread here: Skills are class inherent as far as I know - there is no such thing as mastering them TH style.
  23. Lower weapon hitrates to start with? Lower the weapon hitrates and suddenly a unit isn´t top tier just for the speed stat. And then raise that Hitrate Formula to a x1.5, or even x2 for Skill. Or just have enemies ignore player units they can´t hit - have fun with the enemy swarming around your frontline, wiping out your healers, mages etc. pp. I´ll also say, out with the Skill and Luck rallies. Unless they literally give +20 Skill/Luck or something dumb like that, they aren’t going to do shit – at the very least in the current systems. Instead give us 2-tile rallies that increase Hitrates and CritAvoid (and a class built around rallies damnit). Easier to use, can be accounted for and are predictable and not reliant on a +1 in the Lvl-up screen. I personally don´t think dodge tanking should be part of FE - especially the kind of dodge tanking that just annihilates everything - BUT that is also kinda depended on how strong enemies are. If they are garbage then who cares, but if the enemy just about onerounds any of my units, except the guy who has a ton of Avoid stacked on him, then yeah, please don´t harm my dodgy boy.
