  1. Ok, so after digging around a bit, here’s what I’ve come up with:

Berkut’s Pros: Wildfire (+10 Hit/Avoid), Kriemhild (10 Mt, +5 Def and Res), Phantasm (Halves Magic damage), Higher Range (1-2 vs 1-3)

Reinhardt’s Pros: 5 Leader Stars (+15 Hit/Avoid), 5 Move Stars, Dire Thunder, Vantage, Charge, Adept, Pavise

So let’s break this down. Berkut can attack Reinhardt without facing a counter, as both have 9 Move. This renders Vantage useless. Charge is likely useless too, as Reinhardt will probably have lower Hp after Berkut snipes at him. After that, it’s an RNG-fest. Does Reinhardt proc Pavise against Berkut’s attack (20%)? Does Berkut miss?  What if Reinhardt - on his turn – Procs Adept (14%) and his Move Stars (25%)? So it’s just dependent on the Rng who wins, I’d say.

It's more about territory expansion than virtually any of those things.  Always has been, and still is.  Won't get into a tremendous rant about it because I could spend all day talking about how all of those rationalizations are just excuses to justify the desire of aristocrats to seize wealth and resources for themselves, but racism and religious feuding are not part of human nature, as there's nothing natural or spontaneous about either.

Yeah, most evil stems from Greed. Greed for power, wealth, land, adoration, you name it, some people want it. Degrading others gives some people a high, while for others it's so they can get some sweet loot from unbelievers/inferiors/your next door neighbor. Mankind has always been like this, and always will be. That isn't to say there aren't good people out there. Not at all. All I'm saying on this is that mankind's very complicated.

But enough of the off topic, eh?

  3. This... Blew up quickly. And also doesn't surprise me. There will always be:

    1. Racism.
    2. Idiocy.
    3. Religious feuds.
    4. bias and stereotypes.
    5. Inequality.

It's a product of human nature. Big monkey beat little monkey, yeah? Survival of the fittest, dog eat dog, etc. The most important part: People are stupid, just in different ways, just as people are smart in different ways. Whether its 1,000 B.C. or 2050 A.D. But don't mind me. I'm not making excesses for anyone, just stating my opinion.

Reinhardt has some other tricks up his sleeve though. Max movement stars gives him a 25% chance of initiating another attack and max leadership stars give him an extra 15% evasion. He also has pursuit critical coefficient doubling his crit rate on counter attacks. And this be Jugdral Crits were attack is doubled before defense is calculated. Though actually I suppose his pursuit critical coefficient wouldn't help him if Berkut is always attacking from three range. Really though with adept, charge and a brave tome, the only thing saving Berkut is Phantasm reducing magic attack.

Fair, fair. Valid points, those. I gonna do some research unto this, as well.

And this is in the wrong subforum.  I'll move it to where it belongs.

I thought I did put this in general FE. Ok, sorry I guess.

Well, the amount of thought they put in was basically "she's a Manakete", so I think we already did. But I think the fact they didn't give her any specific tribe and all this evidence I think we can assume she's a divine dragon. Although, there is the fact she mentions she's from somewhere, "all the way to the left" in one of her supports, which implies Valm/Valentia, and her hair is very similar to Mila's hair introduced in Shadows of Valentia, so some people thoerize she's decended from Mila.

That... I really should go back through and read some supports. It's been 2~3 years since I did last. Of course the reason I don't read back through them is because of all the terrible supports. I don't have anything else to do at present, so sure, I'll go read some supports, see if I can dredge up anything interseting.

Next fight: Possessed Berkut (Echoes) vs Reinhardt (Thracia 776)

Berkut is on the run, and is seeking refuge after losing yet another skirmish to Alm. He transpasses into Reinhardt's territory. Sensing a dark demon in Berkut, Reinhardt demands that Berkut surrenders. Berkut's eyes light up and he duels Reinhardt. Who wins?

    Berkut.

Kriemhild is pretty absurd, what with having magic damage. Add that to the fact that Reinhardt is somewhat lacking in Physical power (yes he has a master sword, but only has 13 strength)... And Berkut having 1-3 range vs Reinhardt's 1-2...

I also believe it was confirmed that Nowi was a divine dragon, due to her and Tiki having identical dragon forms, her Tiara being the same that Naga is seen wearing, and the early draft of the game where it is believed she was intended to preform the Awakening with Chrom, not Tiki.

Hm. I actually didn't know that.

Also, I wonder if we're putting more thought into this than IS is.

  8. This topic got me thinking. So, FE has a lot of Dragons. I’m half delirious on pain killer currently, so don’t mind the rambling.

12 Dragon Gods (Jugdral and Fates). Naga (Divine) and Grima (Kinda Earth) in Awakening.

At least 3 Dragon Tibes (Elibe): Fire, Ice, and Divine.

1 known (Divin/Fire?) Dragon Tribe (Magvel).

At least 5 Dragon Tribes (Archenea): Fire, Ice, Mage, Earth, and Divine. Wyverns suspected to be a degenerate tribe.

Fates has Silent (Water) Dragons (Corrin, Kana, Anankos, etc.), Astral Dragons (Moro- never seen but does stuff- , and kinda Lilith) and the Rainbow Sage (Divine perhaps? Maybe a Light Tribe?).

Dragonstones (Indicators of tribes?) in Archenea include: Firestone, Icestone, Earthstone, Flyingstone (Wyvern tribe?), Magestone, and Divinestone. Unused Darkstone (A corrupted Earthstone, mayhap?).

    So that’s

Divine Tribe (Naga, Duma, Mila, Tiki. Nowi/Nah and the Rainbow Sage?)

Earth Tribe (Medeus, Loptous, and Grima- technically a Human/Dragon hybrid made from Alchemy)

Fire Tribe (Bantu, Salamand- FE4’s Fire God)

Silent/Water Tribe (Corrin, Kana, Anankos. Lilith?)

    Ice Tribe (Ninian and Nils)

Flying/Wind/Wyvern Tribe (Forsety- Fe4’s Wind God. Maybe Nowi/Nah?)

    Mage Tribe (Various Archenean bosses)

    Astral Tribe (Moro. Lilith?)

Tribes 9 - 12 are unaccounted for. Maybe a Light Tribe? Are Flying and Wind Tribes separate? Are the Dagons of SoV members of the Ice/Water Tribe? Am I overthinking this?

And then there’s Tellius and Fodlan. Neither of them fit into the other lores very well. Tellius has the Red (Fire), White (Mage?), and Black (Earth?) Dragon Laguz, and Fodlan has the 23 various Children of the Goddess. Sothis is maybe a dragon? Heroes has her as a Red Dragon, but she doesn’t transform, so…

What are you guy’s thoughts on this subject?

As a side note, isn’t Jugdral on the same planet as Archenea and Valentia? And why do I recall that FE4 happens ~1,000 years before the Archenea and Valentia games stories?

  9. Acording to the Dragon Signs you can purchase in NG+, Cichol is the Earth Dragon (Medeus and Loptous?), and Cethleann is the Light Dragon. Serios is the Sky (Divine?) Dragon. So what would a Light Dragon be?

Their sibling/uncles are Macuil - Wind Dragon (Wyvern?) - and Indech - Water Dragon. So clearly, the Children of the Goddess are a very varied group, what with three of them being a Turtle, Griffon-Dragon mix, and traditional European Dragon.

So more or less, we have absolutely no idea what Cichol's and Cethleann's dragon forms where like. I'd guess Cichol would've looked similar to the Earth Dragons of Archenea, but that's just an educated guess. Aaand that's my 2 cents on this topic. Back to calculations for me.

  10. First set of 4, coming up!

Phew. Just finished transporting all the stats into the calculator. That took ages. Though not nearly as long as I'm sure it took to calculate them in the first place. Thanks a million.

The better part of 2 days. Your welcome!

    5 minutes ago, Jotari said:

Lv30. That's the cap of their class. It's the hand they're dealt, just like Shadow Dragon Marth.

    Mhm. Got ya.

    6 minutes ago, Jotari said:

Excellent. That's the last thing I need before Gen 2 Holy War is good to go. I'm surprised that this is the only stat that went missing. There's over two hundred characters here. Far more than any other game on my list (though doing every parent combination for Fates would eclipse that number many times over).

Oh, lord. I don't even want to think about that.

    4 minutes ago, Jotari said:

Huh. I'm not sure what's going on here, but aside from the last stat being 16.34, all of those stats are radically different to what was posted before. Before you had

    Beowulf               53.3        13.1        11.1        15.75     19.8        8.75        16.34

I'll use the more up to date one, but there might be another mistake somewhere there.

Gah, I screwed it up again! The hell did I do to get those stats? Sorry. Ok, after double checking:

Hp         Str      Mag      Skl      Spd        Luk     Def       Res

    53.3     13.1   9.1        11.1    15.75     19.8    8.75     16.34

Ah, so Magic was the missing stat! That problem is solved.

I still don't know how I managed to get the second averages. I think I may have used the wrong father for that one. But that doesn't matter.

Anyways, I'm beginning to calculate the Gen2 Awakening final stats, now that I've figured out their various inheritances.

I didn't know the parents current stats when entering the level affected the child's stats. In that case I think the simplest thing to do would be to use the parents tier 1 level 20 stat. Children have no set recruitment time, but the chapter in which child recruitment becomes available is right when you can start buying Master Seals. So taking their default class right before promotion seems sensible. So it'd be Cleric/Swordmaster Owain and Cleric/Assassin Owain (though there's no need to note it's Cleric Lissa). It's unlikely you're recruiting the children when you're at 20/20 in a vanilla playthrough.

M'k then. What about Panne and Nowi? Their stats at Lv20 or 30, given 30 is the cap for their class?

Double check that, because 16.34 is what's listed for her Defense. Which seems monstrously inaccurate. So it's actually probably her defense that is missing and I thought it was res just because res was the last stat in the row. Actually her Luck seems inordinately low so I'd say that's the missing stat and the one listed as luck is the defense stat.

Ah, I'll run back through Beowulf!Lene's average stats again, just to make sure it's correct.

    Beowulf!Lene

Hp          Str          Mag       Skl          Spd        Luk         Def         Res

    55.65    14.45      9.64      6.05       14.4       18.45      10.1       16.34

  13. Damn it SF! Stop screwing up my messages!

Yeah, but doing both class variants for Parents and Kids means 4 minor variants for each kid. If I calculate Lissa's average inherited stats for both Sage and War Cleric, and then Owain's final averages for Swordmaster and Assassin, then it's:

    • Sage/Swordmaster Owain
    • Sage/Assassin Owain
    • War Cleric/Swordmaster Owain
    • and War Cleric /Assassin Owain

Beowolf!Lene is missing a res stat.

    I'll get that in a moment... It's 16.34.
