  1. Honestly, the justice system has bigger problems that one court case out of very many having a maybe biased jury because the media may or may not be leaning towards Zimmerman's side or Martin's side. This is more of an indictment of American news media. Race? Guns? Potential manslaughter? Who cares about Syria when we can hear about newsbites like TRAYVON MARTIN SMOKED MARIJUANA and GOT SUSPENDED FOR IT? That's because people from both sides are obsessed with the fact that Trayvon Martin is black.
  2. Yeah, +3 hit per point worked nicely in that game. Just try to attack a few enemies with Garo and you can immediately feel the pain! Meanwhile, others could reliably get hit rates around 90-100 even with 70ish hit weapons. This does make early game a little awkward, keeping bronze/maybe iron weapons high accuracy would remedy that.
  3. Yeah, making your lower-skill units actually miss here and there would be a good starting point. Even if your skill is Gonzales-bad, it doesn't matter that much since you basically get to pick what enemies your units will match up against. (I.e. he will rarely be fighting a sword unit without a reaver.)
  4. It also doesn't help that the RNG for the first 3 Fire Emblem games is not actually random. This can cause it to behave strangely, especially during level-ups. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/577343-fire-emblem-monshou-no-nazo/62488066
  5. We're on page two already, Nowi won't be able to stop! To page 10 we go!
  6. It's because they don't want to wash their hands when they're done.
  7. Come on, this thread is making has me Roland on the Fiora Laffin. Chrom join in on the fun, Integ!
  8. ^this is correct. The formula for magic avoid is luck+speed, while physical avoid is speed+terrain bonus. http://www.serenesforest.net/fe2/calculation.html I highly recommend using the Easy Mode on your first playthrough. The doubled experience will not only make grinding mostly superfluous, but allow you to use your entire team and experiment with what characters you enjoy the best. (In a normal mode playthrough, you sort of have to choose between having to use very few characters or grinding to keep everyone up to par) Other than that, the main advice I would give you is don't overlook the sisters and pegasus knights. They appear weak at first, but they will be well worth your effort later on! Oh yeah, and make Grey and Atlas mercenaries because their speed growths are terrible. :P
  9. Warp is banned, obv. Also, despite popular belief, both of them can use warp zones!
  10. Okay I'll make the change but only after Wendy is moved to her proper place in hardcore tier for the FE6 HM tier list.
  11. Recently, I came across a tier list topic for Super Mario Bros. 2, only to find out it's not about the real Super Mario Bros. 2, but a fraud and simple edit of the super seriously obscure Doki Doki Panic! created for the unskilled American populace. Therefore, I decided it was my duty to make a tier list of the perfectly difficult gem of the actual Super Mario Bros. 2. Top Tier: Mario (Good all around character) Bottom Tier: Luigi (High jumps, but low traction is a real bummer) Discuss.
  12. I haven't played it in a while, so I'll go by WHAT THE PROS USE in the TAS I saw somewhat more recently. Top Tier: Toad Used In That One Ice Stage Tier: Mario Not Used Anymore but Still Bro Tier: Luigi Challenge Speedrun Tier: Peach Crazy speedruns aside, Personally I prefer Toad or Mario since they're easy to control with good speed and power. Luigi and Peach are good for a jump here and there, but the other two seem more practical.
  13. #40988 [FE7 HNM] CHUMP Draft finished drafting. Note that this draft uses generic enemy bases and growths for characters so don't say we suck if our turncounts are bad! Teams: BBM: Florina, Lucius, Bartre/Karla, Dart, Pent, Harken, Nino ZM: Fiora, Canas, Dorcas, Matthew, Isadora, Wil, Karel SRC: Lowen, Erk, Raven, Guy, Rebecca, Louise, Legault SB: Sain, Kent, Rath, Priscilla, Farina, Vaida, Renault Refa: Heath, Eliwood, Oswin, Lyn, Serra, Hawkeye, Jaffar
  14. lol just take like a 3 turn penalty or something. Even with a terrible desert team (with a few rigged Guy crits) I only took 9 turns, so it's not a huge deal.
  15. NOT ISADORABLE. Uh, Rebecca. She's sort of useful I guess? And +3 strength promo gains is PRO.
  16. GUY. SWORDS ARE TOO GOOD.
  17. lol, let's give Lyn a try. I MEAN RAVEN
  18. Boo all of the cool mounts are gone. Erk, rock that 55% magic growth!
  19. Refa picks Heath and Eliwood.
  20. It's not quite that bad. except for marcus http://www.serenesforest.net/fe7/class_growth.html
  21. Da Lowen. I think his growths get an offense buff!
  22. We conspired together in secret.
