I would want to have more confidence in my own abilities. Also, after middle school, I wish I had read more often. I don't have as much time as I'd like to read and I wish I had read Elric, The Black Company, Kane series, Clark Aston Smith etc. when I was in High School. It would have helped me to read these series/authors work when my emotions were still raw and powerful. These are some of the legendries I sought for a long time and only discovered in the last few years.

I mostly read nowadays, but I’m replaying Castlevania Order of Ecclesia to help me remember to time when I wasn’t old and decrepit. After February half term (War and Peace/Dreams of Steel/Songs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe) I’m going to take an honest crack at FE: 3H.

In the vein of The Black Company or Kane series, make a game where your characters are either fighter for/are the villains of the piece. Basically add in more elements of dark fantasy.

I’m terms of what I’ve beaten I’d have to say the Tellius Saga. I haven’t really started playing TH because I’ve been busy and I don’t really have the free time/endurance anymore to beat a 200+ hour game.

If you enjoy dark fantasy like The Black Company, I would suggest looking into Michael Moorcock’s Elric of Melniboné or Karl Edward Wagner’s Kane saga if you’re interested in finding a new fantasy series to read.
