  1. The way the teams work, you download all ten at once, but they each only become available at most once every 24 hours. The FE9 characters will all become available next week, anyway, when the next set (probably FE10) comes out.
  2. The trial and error part isn't even worth mentioning. These are higher difficulty levels: they're meant for when you've already played the game on Normal and should know the gist of it all already. If you choose to forego that preparation, you have no one to blame but yourself. The added challenge is working cautiously with that foreknowledge, which is perfectly legitimate difficulty.
  3. It just means you have to stay away from those areas or end the chapter before they become a problem.A perfectly legitimate added challenge for difficulty, especially when the worst of the reinforcements tend to show up in "Defeat boss" chapters like Ch21 and Ch25.
  4. While having bosses that announce reinforcements before they show up. Hmm.
  5. Huh? I'm pretty sure his other kids don't have the mark at all.
  6. Depends on the difficulty level and when you play the chapter.
  7. Yeah, bait is extremely useful in Ch2 Lunatic+ to avoid getting overwhelmed. The Cavaliers can outrun the enemies, so if you do it right, you can get them to circle back around without getting killed. It's tough, though, and I can't say I quite remember how.
  8. Waiting too long can make it particularly difficult to put the kids to practical use without grinding, but that's all. Also, there's Sumia, who can only be paired with Chrom, Avatar, Frederick, Gaius, or Henry. If you pair all five up with other characters, you're not getting Cynthia. She's the only one with that kind of restriction, though.
  9. All of them. Master Seals are available in shops after Ch12; Second Seals are available after Ch16, or earlier depending on sidequests. Both are sold rather cheap for 2500 gold, and can randomly show up even earlier in the hands of merchants.
  10. 1. Yes it does, but you have a lot of leeway, so you should do fine with whatever teams you come up with, especially on the lower difficulty levels. And yeah, you can grind, but it gets progressively limited on the higher difficulty levels. 2. Main way is to have the two units adjacent or paired up in battle; you'll know it from seeing hearts appear over them after battle. Having one dance for or heal the other also works. 3. Don't worry about them. Just try whatever you feel like. 4. Yes, you can use them. Depending on situations, they may or may not be more effective at various tasks than your other units.
  11. The DLC that's out so far has unpromoted units, so it won't be much help for promoted units, especially reclassed ones, while several SpotPass teams have foes of various levels going all the way up to teams filled entirely with LV20 promoted enemies. So yeah.
  12. When I recruited the Anna in P4, she remarked about Chrom having saved one of her sisters, even though on my file the Anna in P2 was defeated and had to retreat. So it seems there isn't a dialogue change for that, but does anyone know if there's one for if you haven't played P2 at all before P4?
  13. No, but they put you in an advantageous position regardless of it.
  14. Regular enemies use staffs, item healing effects, and Rally skills, so yes.
  15. Rally Spectrum is without a doubt the best skill in FE13.
  16. I've always seen Stahl as completely useless on this mode, aside from some early Pair bonuses.
  17. Next Thursday, they'll announce the King vs. King series and release Lief. One week later, they'll release Alm. There is absolutely no question about it, with their current schedule.
  18. Or they just felt tomes would suit Demon Fighters better and didn't care about the stereotype? One thing about the classes is, distributing the six weapons between two classes, it had to get messy somewhere because of the three non-triangle weapons: Bows/Tomes: give both to one class and the other has no ranged weapon type Bows/Staffs: give both to one class and it only has one melee weapon type Tomes/Staffs: give both to one class and it has all the magic while the other has none So it makes sense that they did it this way. While combining them this way leaves Brides a bit limited in melee combat, it's honestly better than the alternatives.
  19. There are a lot of dialogue changes, but apparently nothing on the gameplay level other than a slightly modified (and generally accelerated) download order and DLC being available in packs.
  20. The Japanese name is just Thunder Sword. For some reason, the FE11 translators decided to rename it to Levin Sword. At the time, Levin didn't even exist in the translated language. We still don't know what they've decided to officially do with him now, in FE13.
  21. Yes. Promoted units can always reclass to any unpromoted classes available to the character, regardless of level.
  22. No. That's the point: it gives up your turn to support your other team members.
  23. Two - one in a chest in Ch17, one as a reward for getting an absolutely insane amount of Fame No, you can't Yes, it stacks with all temporary bonuses: Movement +1, Carrier, certain Pair bonuses, Rally Movement, Rally Heart when it's released, you'll be able to get a mounted unit up to 16 Move this way when Eirika's DLC comes out
  24. One-ear sound isn't that bad; I've found it quite useful in school.
  25. Chest in Chapter 17 and Fame are indeed the only places to find them. Yeah, it's weird. It's worth noting: if you manage to max your saved Fame, you could start a new file, play through Ch3, get the Ultimate Emblem and Boots, sell the Ultimate Emblem to hire an MU or past-game character, use the Boots on them, and then save them back to the list to be available like that on other save files. This only works for guest characters, though, and each character can only use Boots once.
