  1. Something was wrong with Stahl in the Harvest Scramble. Talking with Donnel about love life with words that shouldn't be coming to his mouth. Oh and Kellam become a stalker for Donnel... And that Chrom and Frederick converstation in the beginning... Are they making fun of these type of relations or encouraging it!?
  2. With Chrom he can by their logic. (Also Imagine Basilio!Morgan with an eyepatch (and darker skin) or Anna!Morgan with a ponytail)
  3. Lol, Isn't that just Wrys but promoted? Old Man Bald Libra can't fight good but can heal your wounds.
  4. They're really find how they are, anymore details might push players to want use them over the actual characters. And they really shouldn't override them at all, so being silent make sense to me.
  5. Hey, you didn't get rid of the hairstyle. : ] Sheesh, you got lucky with Marth's critical, would you have just settled with five turns if that failed or reset?
  6. It's too late, someone needs to make the next one! *Going to Looks for Voice Clips*
  7. That is true, and it is believeable when facing them in the DLC, being they can talk and hold (an interperation like the Old Hubba said) of the card's personality. Not really when fighting on your side though. I always see them as like Trophys from SSB, a replica of an old hero that only has a interperation of the person it's base on. (A.K.A. in the end a different being from the original.)
  8. Many people has the temptation to rigged at times. And sheesh your doing awesome in maniac, I could barely get pass the prolouge and now stuck on chapter 3... Ahh, and the theme that drew most of us to this series. (Who's idea was it?) Also seeing the reference, Dragon Knight, Yes?
  9. Why would they need to be dead? It isn't like he uses their still living corpse to make the card, right?
  10. A Decoy Plan is simple to make and given what was happening it wasn't exactly for certain was going to work. (If Jiol had split his forces, Game Over). And it's one thing to thing to say a life is needed to be sacrificed, it another admit that they would sacrificed their life for the greater good. (Like Dorias did. ;_;) Malledus already sent word to Draug about a ship, so his work could have been done and he could than sacrifice his life if he wanted to. And his lesson about sacrifice for the Greater Good to Marth? Kind of Broken, when that life is not gone and you and the game wants you to finish the game with no causalities. P.S.: And at their situation, a fighter is needed as much as a tactician, every arm that can fight counts especially because their so low in number(for the whole war). Jagen could fight and give out orders at the same time, Malledus could not. Also, August does the whole Cynic Tactician way better than Malledus. (Especially because those odds were worse.)
  11. I can't recommend just one, Strange Journey (DS) For the Gameplay (Has the General Staple of the main series) and the main themes (Order vs Chaos, Apocalypse like, Demon-Central) P4 Golden (Vita) The most light heart of all SMT Games ( Character-central, Mythology only plays mostly in the plot and summons, Most forgiving) Devil Survivor 1/2/Overclocked (DS/3DS) Close for a FE Fan, showcase of themes with (slightly as their are good gods here) lighter tones. It depends what you really want to know about Shin Megami Tensei really.
  12. And that's how Brady was born! Just like his old man,and easily mistaken bandit! Finally decide to stop being lazy and do this! My last support, The young farmer with lots of potential but doesn't believe in it and the ace Pegasus knight that doesn't think high of her skills. [spoiler=DonnelxCordelia] [spoiler=c] D:The sun is gold, them clouds is white! *music note* Land's far below, 'cause I'm in flight! *music note* C:I never thought to hear that song sung by a simple villager. D:Hey, Cordelia! Reckon ya know that song too, huh? C:Any pegasus knight worth her wings knows that one, Donnel. But I had always thought it was nearly unknown outside the order. D:A lady visited my village-donkey's years ago, it was-and taught me the words. I confess I don't really get what it's about, exactly... But it's a rousin' tune what makes me think of bravery and valiant derrin'-do! C:Well, it IS about bravery. It celebrates the exploits of one of history's greatest pegasus knights. D:Well, ain't that somethin'? C:Yes. She lived back in the legendary times of the first exalt of Ylisse. She was his greatest knight and his most stalwart defender. She watched over him like the sun itself, swooping down to dispatch foes. The slow, heavy knights feared her aerial dance most of all. At night they huddled together and told tales of a death-dealing lance from the sky. D:Gosh! She sounds mighty impressive. C:Oh, she was. But she was more than just a warrior. She had the courage of a demon, yes, but the heart of an angel. They say the people loved her even more than she loved the exalt. In fact, for every foe she defeated, she won two more to her side with her charisma. D:Golly! Tough as a badger, but charmin' as an old fox! Reckon I can see why they wrote such a fine song for her. C:They built statues, too-one of which still stands in the Ylissean capital. I could take you there to see if after the war if you would like. D:Ya bet yet gold teeth I would! It's a date, Cordelia! [spoiler=B] D:Cordelia, I was hopin' ya might spin me more yarns 'bout that pegasus knight. C:Heh. Seems like I piqued your curiosity. Piqued it and pricked it, too! I think I'm fallin' in love with her! Well, keep this under your hat, but it's long been my dream to become just like her. I'm truly delighted that you're as interested in her life as I am! ...Although needless to say, I'm nowhere close to realizing my dream. They'd probably laugh me out of the Shepherds if they knew. D:She must'a been mighty special if a gal as amazin' as you can't meassure up. C:Oh, I'm not amazing, Donnel. I'm actually a very ordinary knight and woman. D:Aw, donkey dung! You're amazin' in more ways than I could ever count! C:Stop that. You shouldn't try to flatter me-charming though it may be. D:I ain't flatterin' ya, Cordelia! Cross my heart and hope to spit! And to prove it, I'm gonna start listin' 10 good things about ya every day! C:Er, every day? D:Yep! Monday to Sunday, no days off! C:Well, this should be amusing. I wonder how long you'll last. D:Oh, just you wait. I can do this for ages! [spoiler=A] D:Welp, let's see... Beautiful, kind, strong, wise... Um, beautiful... C:You said beautiful twice. Not mention, you've listed all those other things before as well. D:W-wait! I ain't done yet! Mmm...thinkin' hard... Mmmmnnn... Ya got a huge nose! C:...That's not a compliment. D:It ain't? C:Look, just admit that you've run out of good things to say about me. I'm still impressed you mangaged to keep it going for so long. I'm starting to think that perhaps I AM a little bit amazing! D:I told ya that already! Loads'a times! Fact is, the more I get to know ya, the more amazin' I think ya are. C:WEll, I've never been quite so flattered in my life, that's for sure. ...And as a little thank-you gift, I made you this. D:What is it? A letter? C:We've been spending a lot of time together, and I've grown to know you quite well. So I drew up my own list, for you. D:Gosh! That's a lot of writin'! ...Them's all my good points? C:Oh, no. Those are your faults. D:...Oh. Ain't quite what I was expectin'. but...Hmmm... Yup. Okay, I see... Yikes, there's a second page...And a third!? C:Flattery is all well and good, but we must know our faults if we want to grow. So i made this list to help you, and I want you to do the same for me. Then I can fix my weaknesses and make myself a new pegasus knight of legend! D:Well, if that's what ya want, I reckon I'll give it my best. But I've gotta warn ya, it ain't gonna be easy findin' fault with you! [spoiler=S] D:*Cough* Er, Cordelia? C:Yes, Donnel. What is it? D:It's about that list ya asked me to make. The one about yer bad points? Well, I, er...thought up a couple'a things. C:Excellent! Come then, show them to me. ...Ah, yes, good. You have quite a lot. D:Yeah, but actually... That ain't why I wanted to talk at ya. C:Oh? D:What I'm really here for is to give ya this here ring. C:Oh, What's it for? D:Well, I guess I'm hopin' you'll wear it. I 've been spendin' a lot of time thinkin' about ya. Both good points and bad. And frankly, I ain't had much time lately to do anythin' else. C:...Ah. I think I understand now. This is an engagement ring, isn't it? D:Yep. C:Well, what a coincidence. I have something for you, too. D:Ya do? C:Let me just grab it right... Oof! ...Here. D:Creepin' carrots, this is heavy! How much paper ya use in this stack? C:I've spent a great deal of time listing your good and bad points. That's my final report. D:Gosh! Ya came up with way more stuff than the last time... S'pose I got a whole mess'a things to fix this time, huh? C:Quite a few, yes. I don't believe in sugarcoating the truth, as you know. D:Aw, horse pucky! What'n the heck was I thinkin'? I'm just some dumb farm boy what tried to marry a pegasus knight! C:Oh, dear. IT seems I missed one of your faults. Here, give me that. I'll just write it in on the last page... "Comes to hasty conclusions." D:...Reckon I'm a hair confused. C:Oh, I already have "easily confused." It's back on page 19. But anyway, what makes you think I'm turning down your proposal? D:Ain't it obvious? Look at this huge list of stuff about me about what needs fixin'! C:When you were thinking of my faults and strengths, you fell in love with me. ...Right? Well, I think the same thing happened to me when I was making your lists. D:And you started likin' me in spite'a all...THIS? C:I did indeed. And so, Donnel, yes. I accept your proposal. D:Yeeeeee-haw! C:Of course, once we're married, we'll likely have to expand these lists a great deal. Getting to know you will be an adventure-I'll have to remember to sharpen my quill! D:Er, yeah. An adventure! ...Definitely. Ha ha...yeargh. I don't know why, but I really do like this pairing. (I'll still do this pairing if my current play through was not female...and marrying Donnel.) (Severa has inherited the confidence problem of both parents!)
  13. Tiki's Chapter, Braindead Al? I don't remember any other Al having such a brilliant simple Al that works well to stop you from completing the mission in good health. I like to consider them smart***es who knows not to-bomb your group.
  14. Finally, It's time for Series 2! (Honestly, What I'm waiting for, the crossover did not have that epic feel that it should have.) Still debating if I need that limit breaker for Ultimate Training that badly...
  15. Aww.... Everyone say the fun maps are horrible. (Walhart's recruitment map gives that feel of an equal battle, Brady's and Tiki's give that trapped defense feel, Mila Tree looks awesome and the boss with his mustache and so on) If any map that I hate and reset a lot, it's chapter 17, Group is split too thin and yet it's hard to reunite and move together. Reinforcement are also the devil. (We also get to see Excellus for the first time! )
  16. I always like Celica's art, and I'm seriously tempted to buy R&R2. (Especially because I already got Alm.) Though I hope the dialouge in the chapter doesn't make me be a horrible dastard again. (SB3 & LB3). And I;m trying to save money for the second set, what to do...
  17. Now the question is, who is the final boss, SMT Villain or a FE Villain? Being that most likely the most important part for the plot. I honestly hope for an original boss, to keep each side is equal. Or an Anna Demon Summoner that summons the universe's strongest Jack Frost.
  18. Next one, finally transcribed. What's a better pairing than the tomboy and feminine man. [spoiler=SullyxLibra] [spoiler=c] L:Hoofprints? This far out? Hmm...It seems they continue for some distance. S:Looking for something, Libra? I can help if you want. L:Ah, Sully. You are very kind. And what's more, you've helped already. For it seems you are responsible for the far-ranging hoofprints. S:You mean my HORSE is responsible right? Anyway, sounds like you've got time on your hands. Mind if we talk for a bit? L:I'm afraid I haven't much of interest to say, but I'more than happy to listen. S:With all the newcomers we're taking on, the camp's gotten pretty busy. It's hard to get any privacy, huh? I imagine it must be doubly hard for a woman like you. L:...... I'm a man. S:Oh. Right. ER, yeah. Of course. Well, this is pretty damn awkward. L:Please. It's not an unfamiliar situation for me. Though I must say, your question is somewhat perplexing. Aren't you capable of supplying a woman's perspective yourself.? S:Well, yeah, sure. But...you know. I'm not exactly GIRLY. ...Gods, that came out wrong. ER, look. I'll just ask someone else. Thanks for your time, though! Libra:Of Course. [spoiler=b] S:Do you have a moment, Libra? L: Yes, of course. What is it? S:Look, I'm sorry as hell that- L:Is this about the other day? Please, Sully. You already- S:Er, no. I'm actually apologizing in advance for what I'm about to ask. L:That's...ominous. S:I really hope you won't take this the wrong way, but I wanted to know... How do you feel about looking so...pretty? I mean...lady pretty? L:Oh. That is...not what I was expecting you to ask. But, well... I don't know that I feel much about it one way or the other. There isn't much I can do about the way I look, after all. Yes, being mistaken for a woman can pose some minor difficulties. Especially in bath houses. Or taverns. Or, um, anywhere, actually. But why do you ask? S:Well, see, I'm not exactly the girly type, you know? I ask people to treat me the same as a man, and I don't let anything limit me as a knight. But talking to you the other got me thinking that...I don't know. Maybe it's just time I accepted myself more for who and what I am. L:I fear I make a poor model for this question, Sully. You'd be better served by any number of others in our camp. S:What makes you say that? L:A man of the cloth should be a beacon of hope. A light in the darkness. He ought never let his smile falter, nor forget to treat all with warmth and respect. At the very least, that is the sort of man I aspire to be. S:That's exactly the sort of man you ARE, Libra. L:So you say. And yet, I cannot help but feel I'm merely skilled at playing such a figure. I worry that my entire person is an act. A hollow shell. S:Libra... L:I apologize. It was not my intent to burden you with my idle ramblings. Pray, forget it. [spoiler=a] S:Do you have a dream, Libra? Any grand goal in life? L:Hmm... I suppose it would be to see the world at peace once more. S:Har! I figured you'd say something along those lines. You know, it's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. L:To see happiness in others brings me equal amounts of joy. S:Yeah, I'm sure that's true. But sometimes you still have to think of JUST you. It's like you're actively trying to deny yourself pleasure or happiness. I just wonder why sometimes, is all. L:I wonder why it is you would trouble yourself so over a humble man like me. S:Maybe I'm just a nosy jerk. Ever think of that? Or maybe... WEll, I dunno. I just like you, I guess. L:Oh? S:It's like you and me are kindred spirits in a way. The tomboy to end all tomboys, and the most beautiful man in the land! L:Heh. Opposites though we are, we share quite a bit. I feel a closeness to you as well. S:So what do you say? You and me, partners for the long haul? L:I would be honored. [spoiler=s] L:Might I have a moment? S:Uh, Libra! S-sure! What's up? L:Are you feeling well? You look flustered. S:Oh, I'm fine. I just remembered what I said the other day. I guess I'm kind of embarrassed. To listen to me run my mouth off, you'd think I was professing my love. L:...Then you weren't? S:Of course not! L:Well, it appears to be my turn to feel ashamed. I fear I mistook your words. How vain I must have been to go so far as to procuse this... S:Oh, damn. You got me a ring. L:I am terribly sorry. I was so thrilled to hear we saw one another as kindred spirits, and I just... I'll dispose of this. Please think no more of it. S:W-wait! It'd be a shame to waste it! I mean, it's so... Um... I accept, Libra. L:This is not the sort of item I would have you accept out of pity. For a thing so small, it bears more weight than I would trouble anyone to bear. S:Well, I'm pretty good at lifting heavy stuff. L:But... S:I'm not doing this out of pity, you damn fool! I'm doing it because I like you. ...And I want to live my life with you. L:Then I will give it gladly! Does anyone knows how many supports Libra actually had to say, 'I'm a man'? P.S.: I loved their ending.
  19. Wait a minute... Why would they use THE END? The other Fire Emblems always ended with 'Fin' even in the English localization.
  20. Well their fanatic for the most part and most likely grew up that way, especially because they are hunted and killed. (FE4 and FE13) For those evil cults, can anymore be done? If anything, an Divine Dragon Lord (That might have lost his/her power) would be nice, you know a a dragon that is important starting from the beginning. Good Luck there! Hope to play it
  21. Hit Rates, yeah... From my Hard play run, Hit Rates seem to always to be able to hit. Axe Rates for me always usually 50% without axebreaker especially from warriors. It easier to believe both person will be able to hit than relaying on dodging for the most part. Not including breakers which comes in the later part of the game, hit rates for both enemies and allies will be reasonable. (IN THIS GAME 30% is reasonable!) With forged weapons and skills (Breakers and hit 20+) in their disposable, enemies are likely to hit in later chapters. The Skill stat remain high for many enemies, except mostly dark mages and sorcerers.
  22. Well, what kind of story can he have? He unlike Ike he seem just be a very strong mercenary with a title. I mean a story of just getting stronger isn't exactly a fire emblem story, and that seems to be his only desire.
  23. Well, here's the next one, the baby-face Dragon Nowi, and Loyal Steward Frederick. And Nowi's stolen fruits! [spoiler=NowixFrederick] [spoiler=c] F:Ah, Nowi. N:Eeek! F:Wh--?! No, wait! N:Yes? What is it? F:Why did you attempt to flee, milady? Have I done something to anger you? N:Last night, I had a nightmare about my basket of fruit being stolen... F:Ah. Yes, I see how such a thing might be... Er, except I don't. Why did that make you want to run away? N:Because YOU were the thief, and I didn't want to lose any more fruit! F:This is unfortunate. I hate to think I wronged you-dream or otherwise. Perhaps it would clear the air if I offered you my ration of fruit this evening? And I only ask one small thing in return. N:For extra fruit, I'll do anything! F:Well then, I was hoping we might spend more time together. B:..Yeah, nho. That's not worth fruit. Plus you're not really my type. F:Milady! I did NOT mean it as a proposal! What a dishonorable idea! ...I want you to show me your dragon might. N:Huh? But why? F:Opportunities to spar with adragon are few and far between. To get even a taste of dragon combat would be a most valuable experience! N:Won't you be all scared and stuff? F:That is why I need your help. Fear of the unknown is the fear most dangerous. N:I'm not sure about this... F:...You'd have two rations of fruit? N:Oh, right! I almost forgot! Okay, sure! [spoiler=b] N:Frederick, are you all right? F:*Groan* Y-yes, milady... Completely fine... Such a small burn... I c-can hardly feel it. If I just ignore it, it will heal. Eventually... N:Are you sure? I burned off an awful lot of hair. What if it grows back all weird? F:Oh. D-does it appear grievous? N:Well, it's kind of all frizzy and spiky and sticking out. Hee hee! It's actually pretty funny! Hee hee hee! F:Then we had best stop for now and give my body a chance to recover. This has been a very educational experience, thanks to you. I must return to my training while the pain of the wounds remains fresh in my mind. N:....... F:Are you all right, Nowi? Are you injured? N:I'm just thinking how stupid you are! Getting yourself all hurt like that, with no one to look after you properly! F:I must put myself through such trails if I am to protect everyone. N:But why do you insist on doing it by yourself? You can ask for help! F:What are you driving at, milady? N:You said you were oging to return to training, right? Meaning, on your own? But that'll make you lonely. I should know. Before I came here, I was all alone, too. It makes me sad to see you working and training so hard with no one around you. F:Milady, you have a kind and gentle heart. But I couldn't possibly be lonely when those like you are thinking about my welfare. N:So you don't feel lonely at all? F:Not a bit. So once my wounds have healed, perhaps we can spar once again? N:Sure! That'll be fun! [spoiler=a] F:Nowi, are you free? I was hoping we might have another sparring session. N:But we just had a fight yesterday! AND the day before that! F:Yes, but I am so close to anticipating when you unleash a breath attack. N:Oh, okay. If you want to play THAT much... Why are you always so obsessed about getting better at fighting? F:I must be strong so I can prtect CHrom and our allies. This war demands no less. Also, the more I learn, the more I can pass on to the other Shepherds. This will reduce battlefield casualties and increase the odds of eventual victory. N:And it'll make you the biggest hero ever! F:Unlikely. And in any case. I do not do this for praise or glory. MY only aim is to ensure that as many of my comrades as possible survive this war. N:I love being praised more than ANYTHING! Don't you care about the glory even just a little bit? F:I am but human, milady-any praise that comes my way is highly appreciated. But approbation andf glory cannot by themselves be your goal. N:Gosh, you're just like a real knight! But SOMEONE has to tell you how great you are-and it might as well be me! So, er... WEll done, Frederick! Good job! You're the best knight ever! F:Heh. Why, thank you, Nowi. You remind me of my mother. N:Well, don't forget, I AM like several centuries older than you! F:Yes, of course. I often forget that you are a wise, mature woman. N:Tee hee hee! NOw you're praising ME! And you do it ever so well! F:I only speak the truth. N:In fact, you're so good at it, I think we should spend more time sparring. F:It would be my pleasure! [spoiler=S] N:Frederick! Let's practice some more. I'll turn into a dragon for you! F:Now this is unusual-normally, it is I who challenges you to battle. Has something piqued your interest in our training sessions? N:Not really. I just decided that you and me should practice together more often. See, when you try hard, I always remember to praise you and say how brave you are. Even if no one else appreciates all your hard work, I want to make sure I do. And, another thing. When you take a day off, I want to take a day off with you! Then we can keep each other company, and neither of us will ever be alone. We'll get stronger, we'll be able to help out Chrom more, and it'll be fun! F:But then we would be spending nearly every waking moment together. N:...You don't hate do you? Please say you don't! Because I really, really, REALLY like you! F:I like you, too, Nowi. N:No! I don't mean that kind of like. I mean, I LIKE YOU like you. F:...Ah. N:I love how you're always working so hard for others, even when you're tired. Plus I love how you're always thinking of ways to protect people. It makes ME want to protect YOU! So, um, do you like me? Like as a woman and all that? 'Cause if you feel about me like I do for you, I...I want you to tell me. Please, Frederick! Don't keep me in suspense! F:After such a forthright confession, it would ill behoove me not to answer in kind. In truth, I was planning to do this when I was better prepared... ...But, Nowi, I have in fact fallen in love with you. We have spent so much time together lately, and I came to realize... Well, that you are the most important person in my life. N:YAAAAAAAAAY! So I suppose we should get married now, right? F:If you will do me the great honor. But unfortunately, I have not yet picked out a suitable ring for you. I shall go to the jeweler in town and order one immediately. N:Oh, wait! Before you go, let's have another fight! F:Well, I suppose there is always time for just one more... I need to remember to check up more.
  24. "Filler" Chapter, except for Genealogy of the Holy War (though Orgahill Pirates part in Chapter 3 other than Briggid can count) have always been there, most time in the beginning. most time to help you train unit wise and for story, them clearing little troubles as knights/mercenary/vigilante should. I don't think anyone would like boss rushing though major antagonists in a rows without break. Which made me notice, how Valm feels, taking down what pretty much were major generals in a chapter(from introduction to death). Except Cervantes and his glorious mustache.
  25. Was that not a alternate alternate future? And was their mention of the 'first' Lucina comment it was just a future that felt like their own.
