Well from what I can tell on the Lissa V. Fred thing I see an issue that I would like people to explain if possible. The major issue with Fred is a lack of exp but Lissa who gains good exp thanks to major staff exp upgrade is still rated significantly worse by most people. Is this solely because of combat?

Okay so the major things that seem to be talked about 1) Fredericks lower scores (consult bear on this) 2) Fred's rating in conjunction with Lissas rating.

Just going to point two things out. First he gave him a 9 he isn't being a troll about Galeforce. Please lay off about that. Second all discussions please move over to the new thread.

Because its beginning to get cluttered with discussions on the ratings given in the rate the unit thread I'm gonna make a thread to talk about the ratings. I think his biggest issue that people have with him is that he steals exp with little gains. I think this is counteracted by second seals but that's just me.

The point was that you were the second person to give this score. When you gave it, it had no backing. Later when someone asked you to explain you only said what was wrong didn't mention what he does well. The point here is that only bear had posted before and you had no backing or reasoning for the score. You didn't even quote him and say "I agree with this".

Some people probably see Lissa as a long term unit, while they see Fred as useless.

Couple of example for short length Something like this that's short works because I can see it weighs how he can be useful but also talks about the downside. The bias is not the most brilliant reason but I don't care about the reason for the bias. Good will be accted This is in the middle because I think Horace ignores some of the points against Frederick but he may not think they are important enough to mention. Acceptable but not ideal This is not acceptable i need at least some reasoning. Just give me something I never wrote a rule that you can't do this so it is acceptable.

Yes and you explained it. He never stated that he agreed with the reasoning. From what I read he just said he doesn't gain exp well, doesn't have good growths, and he thinks he's overrated. I think he should at least go a bit more in depth. You wrote two paragraphs in which you weighed the pros and cons the other person who gave him a four gave a list, Bryan gave a sentence. For most characters (with the exception of MU who is already done) I won't except that. Wether it be higher or lower or at the general opinion.

I would like a little more explanation about this at your earliest convience. I just don't see a reason for such a low score when he still has a great early game and good mid game utility.

Thank you everyone day three has closed and day four is ow open. Frederick is the Jeigan or Oifey or whatever you wanna call him. He starts really over powered but poor growths limit him as the game goes. However second seals make him capable of actually being somewhat useful in end game. Pros: Okay growths Great double bonuses early on Vey helpful in the early game Okay class set Good weapon levels So-so as a farther Cons: Loses steam around chapter twelve or so Ppoor bases All in a bit like Seth or Titania but had second seals to help him even more. 8/10 no bias

Thank you everyone day 3 is now open. Lissa is the first healer we get and the only one for six chapters till we get marriabele. Pros: Can help you last longer Rescue staff Okay growths Cons: No combat till at least chapter 8 Healers aren't as important in this game as in the past. All in all Lissa is a good healer that can help if you have a rough early game but once libra and Anna come along she gets forgotten. 7/10 no bias

So before I hibernate for the next eight hours I would like to point a little discovery I made while doing the current scores. The difference between the bias and unbiased scores is less than 0.12 points. Looking at it I think people may have overreacted saying it radically changes the score.

Thank you everyone who participated in Day 0. To much dismay the bias system will still be used, however as stated above each character will receive two scores one with bias one without. Now without further ado I open the FE13 RTU with Chrom. Remember play nice and read the rules on the first page. So Chrom our main lord in the game. I have never been a fan of Chrom. Just didn't like him gameplay wise or personality wise. I will admit he has grown on me gameplay wise, but his personality still sucks. Pros Good growths Infinite use iron sword that is super effective against wyverns. Mediocre class set Unique class with two quality skills. Cons Only personal stuff So I believe Chrom is a high quality unit that deserves an 8.5 (would have a 9 if the support wasn't so constricting). However I still hate his personality so -1. Chrom scores 8.5 and 7.5
