I do want to point out that, in the Blazing Blade light novels, which are official btw, the canon pairings there are:

    • Eliwood x Ninian
    • Hector x Florina
    • Rath x Lyn.

And then, Roy x Lilina isn't canon, but i'm pretty sure Intelligent Systems themselves ships it. I mean, Roy x Lilina is foreshadowed in Eliwood and Hector's B Support, then there's the after-credits scene in Blazing Blade where Roy and Lilina meet, then there's the fact that Roy and Lilina's Supports with each other max out so fast (fastest Support growth out of all the GBA games i believe) and then there's this Cipher card

      Reveal hidden contents

    latest?cb=20160615194848

And finally, Roy x Lilina is a thing in The Champion's Blade manga (though the manga is non-canon).

Instead of Sigurd and Deirdre being in this banner, it's actually Arvis and Deirdre.

Edit: I just saw ShadowofChaos' comment. Ignore what i said about the FE7 Light Novels.

Actually, Champion Blade is canon, but up to a certain point. The Champion's Blade itself appears in FE6

Well it was a good run. It doesn't look like we're going to win, but it was an honor serving our goddess Julia along with all of you who supported her.

Burn 400 flags this hour nonetheless

dont let up until the very end! If we all burn flags for team Julia, there's a chance of an upset!

  3. Everyone in Team Julia! Come, Join us! It is now The Time to Act! Under the Flag(s), we shall wage a war of Light and Dark! We may just be able to pull off a Crimean Army Sortie, and defeat the dark one with the Wind Across the Plains!

every member of team Julia that reads this needs to burn 400 flags or all the flags they have if they have less this hour! This is our final push!

its not over until the fat Valkyrie sings!

    It's fine man.

I can understand you getting annoyed by arrogance(I get annoyed by it too). I try my best to never be arrogant, since it often leads to downfall.

Just tired of seeing so much shit talking about Tharja here on SF. I guess she's just one of those characters you either love or despise.

To be completely fair I'm neutral on Tharja; it's the concept of Tharja and what she represents- not fanservice but the fact yet again a gauntlet gets trampled over and any hope of the historical units being even close is crushed

At least with the previous two we had a second place contender; but Julia in particular is the first in I believe any gauntlet to have never appeared natively in a localized game. That means a fuckton if Nintendo actually sees demand for this character.

So this time it ends up being twofold for a character that gets way too much overexposure as it is

As a character Tharja is kind of meh to me. Don't like her, don't hate her.

Sadly Julia isn't gonna win I did my best for you ugh.....can't stand Tharja... looks like my other massive Flag storage is for Robin especially for 3x time counting on you Robin!

Just burn 400 flags in the last hour, that's the best you can do for Julia rn; you'll get more flags in the worst case scenario from the next set of flag quests tomorrow

Just give up, even if you try spend all of your flags, we have more :p

Your arrogance shall be your downfall

thats our final window and it is a potentially big one

we wont let the Loptyrian Witch have her way and ruin the Jugdral remakes for us

Julia is currently down 5.8% compared to last hour's 5.3%. It doesn't look like we'll be able to fall behind enough to get the multiplier again unless Team Tharja does something silly, but I do wonder if there are enough players to just brute force a billion points without a multiplier in the last hour.

If we burn enough flags, we might

this is a potential matter of the franchise getting more remakes or not, loss is not an option

...You know, I just realized something. And yes, this isn't completely on topic but it isn't completely off topic either.

Anyway, the Whitewings were there to help Alm and Celica battle Grima. And it would only make sense that they would tell Minerva everything that happened to them over the course of their absence. And Minerva would have then at least notified Marth & co. about the situation as they were nearing Marmorthod. In other words, it is quite likely that Marth actually knew about Grima's corpse being underneath Thabes. Really puts a new perspective on chapter 11 of FE12, doesn't it?

Might lend credibility to the First Exalt being Marth, but Awakening is so vague about it that it's hard to say either way

  9. Naga is referred to as female in Echoes.

she is also referred to as the Divine Dragon King- more specifically her tooth is called the (Divine Dragon) Kingsfang- a localization of what is literally called the Divine Dragon King's Fang in Japanese Echoes- so the case is open and shut. Naga is a Female king- both female and king- and end of story. No qualms about it now from Echoes.

the term used in the Japanese version is gender neutral so honestly making the title of Dragon King "king" even if a female holds it is probably the best approximation considering they made Divine Dragon King a hard and fast moniker in FE11, its better than any sort of mental gymnastics to try and explain she may have been seen by Archanea as male when Xane and gotoh would know better

They do localize Divine Blade Falchion (Marth's Falchion from the amiibo) as Exalted Falchion, even though FE11 localized it as divine blade Falchion; which should we use, or should we use both interchangeably? I feel like FE11's version might take presidence here, but at the same time maybe one or two instances of a Exalted Falchion wouldn't hurt since now the Falchion of Marth's era is definitely localized as that; of course FE11 using Divine Blade Falchion could override that entirely, but using both coooould be nice to help make the connection more apparent to new players not familiar with the fact Exalted and Divine Blade Falchion have the same Japanese name

also, Mormotard desert is now Marmorthod desert in Echoes. I'm like 90% sure that desert wasn't mentioned in Shadow Dragon, right?

Been team Tharja since Julia usurped Sanaki throne and started her play pretend game of being empress. Sitting on 1300 flags.

In the end Tharja is not only hurting Sanaki but also leeching off of her.

a vote for Julia is a vote for Jugdral, Elibe, Magvel, and Tellius

Dang, this actually does have lore importance. Well, time to spend those flags! For the divine dragon's protection, and all that is right and good, we WILL stop Tharja!

Just remember to save 400 flags for the final hour of the gauntlet and be mindful of the 10% gap that we need to trigger in the final hour, Naga willing

it wouldn't hurt to get anyone who's a free agent to join the fight with Julia while we can either

  12. Just now, The_antithesis said:

No, please don't give up hope yet! Our fate is not written!!

We need to stay at a equilibrium where we are almost at 9.99% behind Tharja, let up in the hours up to the final hour only slightly, then floor it in the final hour when Tharja oversteps that 10% difference

Not that my one hundred would've mattered anyway but yeah, I shouldn't have spent them right now.

Every little bit we have matters right now

this is FE history we're making. It's the same week Echoes comes internationally.

it will forever be known as either the Week of Naga, where we finally bask in the knowledge and wisdom of FE's history after ages of darkness internationally, guided by the anointed vessal of the Divine Dragon King herself, or the Week of Grima, where the Fell Dragon and his sorcererous servant blot out what light we have for an age yet longer (and some things that happen in Echoes could tie into Week of Grima but won't spoil anything here)
