Wait, Richard, you know about Summon Night?

I wonder what differences there are between the PS3 version and the 360 version of Agarest...

Hmmm... I wonder what differences there are between the Steam version of Agarest and the console versions...

So yeah... seems that Project A16 is being worked on...
-
Hmmm.... I saw you mention Agarest: Generations of War in that thread the other day. What console is it for?

Well, they're working on it. I actually found out about it only a couple days ago. It, too, has two main characters, but unlike in A15, both the main characters are girls (and they share the same nickname - Shallie [their actual names are Shallistera and Shallotte Elminus]). From what I read, it's called Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea (kinda fitting since A15 is called Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, and the Japanese title of A14 was "The Alchemist of Twilight Land" o...

Man, chapter 35 looks like it's a nightmare to LTC... Incidentally, Agarest is a SRPG series, right?

I will say, it's one thing if you're new to competitive Pokemon and thus don't know what is and isn't viable (I'd actually help such people improve), but sometimes, I get the feeling what I see in those replays is something else entirely (for Pete's sake, I saw a screenshot that showed that one dude's Pokemon had Baton Pass... in 1v1). It's that kind of stuff that makes me want to facepalm.

Hmmm... Showdown does have its fair share of jerks though (case in point: this one replay I posted with some guy who used Swagplay who went up against a team that used evasion. Swagplay dude loses, but what really got my attention was the fact he had the nerve to complain about evasion being cheap when he used a tactic that's just as cheap, if not even worse; in case you're curious, Swagger was banned for generally being annoying to go against and uncompetitive).

Sorry about the confusion back there. Care to share Minako?

A Super Size Pumpkaboo has a distinct cry from the rest.

She doesn't join until late in chapter 4.

Also, gotta love how laughably bad the wanted posters are in Tales games, eh? It's a wonder that anyone can even recognize the heroes if the posters are that badly drawn...

Who are the people in your avatar? And where are you in Xillia?

Huh. I didn't like it either because it spams its digging attacks, which makes the fight drag out. Doesn't help that you gotta go two rounds with the damn thing. Also, no, the Gentlemen aren't what you were warned about about 1/6 of the way into the game. Those are teh Devil's Beasts you're thinking of.

Also, beware of the Gentleman (tall, lanky monster you can see in Xagut Floodmeadow) and its variants (Gentlegnome - Old Vicalle Mine, Gentlefreet - Nala Lava Tubes, Gentlemundine - Kukhar Ice Caverns, Gentlesylph - Bermia Gorge). Though all of them have a Dingy Puffball (2200 points) to steal if you do see them.
