Classes You Know About, Expect to See, or Want to See
Marros replied to vanguard333's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Most of the professor skills we've seen only apply when using the relevant weapon type, so having ones tied to move type only apply when using it makes sense. I'd say the balancing point is more in the fact you only have 5 slots. Considering the basic "+ to various stats when using swords" and "Swords are better than axes" skills take up two slots, I'd imagine choosing skills to use can get a little tight if you diversify in the late game. -
I'm equally curious to see what Dorothea knows about the guy Ingrid's supposed to marry. Seems like a strong reaction, so there's some history there. Perhaps he tried to make a similar offer to Dorothea's family, dangling a elevation to nobility in front of them. Or he was just a really shady patron from her songstress days.

Classes You Know About, Expect to See, or Want to See
Marros replied to vanguard333's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I just had a thought while rereading what we know of battalions. I noticed all the Battalions we have so far are infantry or cavalry, which raised two questions: A) will Infantry leaders with Cav battalions gain a bonus to movement? or vice versa for Cav leader/Infantry Battalion? B) will having a land-locked battalion prevent a Flying Unit from using their superior mobility? (can't exactly fly the battalion over water one at a time, can they?) -

I thought we saw somewhere that it was just increased exp for the focused professor levels. Probably only when gained through battle as opposed to tutoring, though. -
Reddit Leak Thread (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)
Marros replied to Crecentful's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Given Garreg Mach is a kind of international Truce Zone, I could see it people trying to bring it down as a way to destabilize the peace between the three countries. The real question is "why?", could be extremists from Adrestria or Faerghus who want war with the other countries over their religious policies, or the Flame Emperor is trying to bring to light some vile act part of the chuch is commiting. -
School Features and Spectulation

The last article mentioned a "Professor Level" or something for Byleth that allows you to do more things each day as it increases throughout the game. -
~ Bit of a gimme, but given we have 'Church' Soldiers, 'Empire' Soldiers, and 'Kingdom' Soldiers, Leicester soldiers will be 'Alliance' Soldiers. ~ Church Soldiers will be available as long as we're with the Church, Either the whole game or until the plot forces us out. ~ Soldiers of other Nations will be available in limited number in some way. (Gaining a unit from another country/Defectors/you ally with or conquer that country/etc.)

A fair point, though I imagine it won't be taught for gameplay reasons. Sure, but are your officers usually the ones that do that? And Yes, I'm familiar with D&D Bards, but the closest I remember FE getting to them was Ninan and Nils having those rings for buffs. The mind whammy stuff has never really cropped up. Which is not to say i wouldn't be cool with those sort of spells turning up, but neither of the categories of magic we know of in 3H strike me as a category bardic magic would fall under.

What do you want the most out of Three Houses?
Marros replied to Roland's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I kinda want someone who goes in the opposite direction. a Character that wants to be the greatest Swordsman/Mage/Whatever, but is absolutely terrible that field. -

I know it's hard to speculate since we don't know what it does, but what classes do people think will use/boost Authority? -

Given we saw Caspar make two attacks before an enemy could counter I'd bet fist weapons get some form of Desperation's effect. -
Blue Lions because they seem the least interesting to me. Mostly because I feel I wouldn't give them a fair shake if they weren't my initial roster and I want to see if they surprise me. Worked well enough with Octopath, so I might as well try again.

We might actually get to break that trend for once with mock battles at the school.

Makes me wonder who gets the Anew spell if they go that route, but that's a question for when we get more info on the Magic systems. -

Speaking of Exclusive classes, any thoughts on how we'll get Dancers/equivalents? -
Warriors were able to wield bows in the past (though admittedly they were promoted units, which the article doesn't seem to be showing). I also saw something about class not restricting your weapon choices, but how fast you progress your skill with them.

So what in fates is the most rage inducing for you (gameplay wise)
Marros replied to Locke087's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
The fact that Lilith hasn't gained a single stat point in her last... 20 levels or so? if that counts. This was also awful. Clearing chapters 20 and 21 with just the Avatar and Camilla put my units too far behind to catch up, so I ended up running the rest of the game with my avatar and his wife. (this was on Normal, mind.) -
4Koma & Character Book Translations [COMPLETE]
Marros replied to Kirokan's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
Anybody else notice that the section on each character page that marks what campaigns they're in has four sections? It's for the Amiibo charcters, never mind. -
Thank you for reminding me to watch Code MENT again. These were great.

Topic of Marriage, Supports, and Children.
Marros replied to UnknownUber's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
Wait, is that S Support confirmed for Femui? I thought only Male Kamui could marry Azura... Edit: Asura, the thief, obviously... I'll see myself out -
The problem seems to be the other way, All models but not all movements. For example, there's an Anna model but no movement folder for Anna.
