Dimna, you have a nice event that gives you +5 strength which is excellent and a nice base speed of 9 with pursuit. Unfortunately, he has a 20% growth in speed which he will feel later in chapters where he's only attacking once. I assume he's getting a speed ring, so that somewhat nullifies his speed problem. He's stuck with the plain bows until the chapters other people have mentioned(I don't remember the chapters exactly), unlike Lester who has those special bows right in his pocket. And I just don't like Dimna, right from his name down to the way he looks. 3/10. A horse and pursuit doesn't save him from my judging eyes.

What is there not to like about Lester? Bows...that's it. Like his sister, he starts off with what he needs right off the bat which are the Hero, Killer, and Silver Bows. But he's still fine with the just the Hero and Killer bows. I agree with Integrity when he says that Lester is everything Midir wanted to be. Assuming Lester's father is Midir, he'll have no issues killing but he's not outstanding though. 7.5/10

Ah Mana, not very creative with your name. Lana or Mana. Lets see here, early healer with only with a Live staff. Yet somehow is able magically afford one for Julia instead of giving Julia her Live staff and keeping the Relive staff. What's this? This bitch actually has to buy her staves, just like a commoner. Plus, Mana is boring to look at. 5/1 but since I just don't like her, 4/10. Once your 5 move priest has been spoiled by Libro, it's hard going back to a libro-less priest.

Ehh, I'll sit this out. I've never used her enough to accurately judge.

What's this, a starting healer who has almost every good staff right off the bat? She also has skills so she can actually fight? She has orange hair for some reason? Why am I asking so many questions? 8/10 5 move means almost nothing when she got Libro right at the start.

I'd be lying if I said I used Ward beyond the chapters he's auto-deployed. But in those chapters he didn't do much of anything but still did more than Bors. 2.5/10 for me.

My second favorite swordmistress, first one being Ayra. What can I say? She kills things more often than not, impossible to mess her up and inherits whatever Ayra was carrying. I don't care about the lack of horse for Lakche so 9.5/10. That's including bias.

2/10 He certainly does more than Bors and is expendable. I never had any issues with item management so, picking up and storing items is not much of a big deal. When he costs a deployment slot, he isn't worth it as almost any other unit would be a better choice.

4/10 He has pursuit which is always a plus and ambush is a nice skill. He also has A in swords but when it actually comes to performance, he's not really killing things reliably.

1/10 An armor knight in early game...really? Was IS trying something different with Boris or just decided to just laugh at him and stick him with Roy at the beginning of the game in a land full of axes? Thanks for the free iron now stay your ass back with Wolt, Boris. Too many questions are to be asked.

Clerics, supposedly healers and support get axes yet no sign of female fighters, berserkers, or warriors. What the hell!?

2/10 As others have said, terrible bases, mediocre growths, archer. He has nothing going for him after chapter 5. So much for "inheriting" Rebecca's skill with a bow.

8/10 Doesn't need much to be good since he's born that way. He's already a fighter the moment he fights and the only negative I see is low movement which isn't enough to warrant a huge drop. Edit. One question, are you also going to have us rate the substitute characters too?

8/10 My opinion is the same as the others: flier, slow start, hero lance, staves on promotion, easy to pair.

Give the little tease the Leg Ring and she's the best. 10/10 A little bias since she's the only dancer(and Leen) in FE that I like using.

I give the little slut a 5/10. She does have Charisma which is nothing but a good thing but she has a terrible start. I agree with people saying she pretty much has dibs on the Elite Ring. Whenever I do play FE4, I just feel like I'm focusing so much attention just to get her to promote. She does spawn two other Charismabots and her promotion just sends her up there almost with Sigurd, Lex and Cuan but getting there is the issue.Which is why I believe she deserves a 5/10.

This is the bad apple in the barrel and you know how that saying goes.

Sara looks similar to Diadora and Julia imo. The artists were being lazy? Is there a connection between those characters? Either way she's excellent.

It's pretty clear that Arthur is the best wielder for Holsety but I enjoy Sety having it...canon!!!

I can't stand the replacement characters so Corple gets my vote.

Muarim will always be in Ike's group. And why would you want to finish 4-5 in 2 turns, unless you're doing a low turncount? Put Tauroneo and Zihark in the Hawk Army. Put Haar in the Silver Army. Keep Tanith in the Silver Army. Basically armored and horseback units do not belong in the Silver Army, they're better off in the Hawk army or Greil Army. Put Mordecai in the Silver Army. The Hawk Army is where you send your weaker units as their commander is Tibarn and those 4 leadership stars(+20 hit and avoid for 4-2 and 4-5). Plus 4-5 is known as the chapter to raise up your units if you want.

Just keep Ayra away from any men not named Sigurd or Cuan which is pretty easy since most of the guys are on horses.

And confirming FuryxLevin is canon. (lets pretend FE5 doesn't exist for this post)
