  1. Well, if TRS was made by a Kaga-led IS team, then it would likely be made for either N64 or GameCube, largely because I doubt that Kaga would be satisfied by the GBA in term of what kind of crazy crap he could stuff into it. As for what the difference would be for the series, I'm not entirely sure it would have made it stateside, if it had, it might not have been as successful as it was, seeing as how polarizing Kaga Emblem design is. The series would likely to follow Kaga's more dark tendencies, and his seeming obsession with complicated, sometimes overly so, plots and game mechanics. Honestly, I wouldn't mind it and it would definitely lead to an interesting and radically different series, so long as Kaga wasn't reigned in too much.
  2. Definitely going with Dean, mainly because I really love his design and he's no longer total crap, heck, I think he may even be one of the better Mercs too. As for Sonya, I'll use her in my second playthrough, just to be fair.
  3. Gray: Mercenary Tobin: Archer Kliff: Mage Faye: Stalker Pegasus Knight Atlas: Tombsto-I mean Mercenary, probably
  4. Well, let's see... Villager: Tobin Soldier: Valbar Mercenary: Dean Mage: Luthier Cavalier: Mycen Archer: Leon Pegasus Knight: Catria Cleric: Silque
  5. Well, in light of Faye's promotions being so limited, here's mine. Kliff - Mage, because you don't mess with perfection Tobin - Archer, because I'm a sucker for peer pressure and having a Gaiden Archer early, especially with Tobin's skill Gray - Mercenary, because he needs that speed Faye - Pegasus Knight, because you can't have too many winged pony riders in Valentia. Atlas - Mercenary or Cavalier, Celica needs cavs...but Mercenary suits Atlas' needs so much.
  6. I think that they should keep the Gaiden style, it's part of what made the game unique.
  7. Well, here's mine: Landsknecht Axe - A Lance - B HP: 65 Str: 34 Mag: 24 Skl: 31 Spd: 33 Luk: 29 Def: 32 Res: 25 Skills: Daunt: If the enemy initiates battle, they lose 3 attack and 15% Hit Warrior's Pride: After killing an enemy, +2 Str, Skl and Spd until the next player phase Any thoughts?
  8. Idealistically: Tauroneo or Gonzalez Realistically: Lorenz, Dolph, Beck or Daros
  9. First, I would love to see a remake of the Fire Emblem OVA, preferably with all the characters from Shadow Dragon present as well. It would be cool to see a series for each of the older games, especially Jugdral. Second, if anyone does indeed ever plan to make a fan-made video or series, which would be awesome, I am more than willing to donate my voice, and a few ideas for story (though I'm not that great at actually writing dialogue yet). My voice is a relatively versatile Baritone and I can do a passable British accent, so I could do a fair number of male characters.
  10. I get hints of the Tick and Freakazoid from the 80s and 90s. He's probably meant as a parody of costumed superheroes of the mid-40s to mid-to-late-60s alongside the other two I mentioned. Whatever the combo, Arthur is shaping up to be the most memorable character for me, already.
  11. Nohr, more diverse chapters, Harold, characters that appeal to me more, the option to play under the banner of the classic stereotypical villain kingdom; I'm hooked. Though I will play Hoshido and third later.
  12. I think that Mousa is the "better" choice. Muse is nice, but seems slightly out of place with the other dragons. Mousa would probably keep with TS's unique flavor when it comes to names.
  13. On Hoshido: Oboro, 'cause he would probably be the successor to the oft-maligned Soldier class Linca, because of her design and finally a Female Axe(-ish) user Saizou, he looks pretty cool. On Nohr: Garon, not sure if I'm the only one, but he could really be a nice change of pace for kings of nations like Nohr being evil Gunter, I'm a sucker for old bad-asses, plus he's a nice change of pace for the mainly (in my estimation) 15-mid-30's that the Fire Emblem army has been, I will make him amazing The Blonde Guy, forget it, can I call him Bob the Hero? I will, he looks awesome, I hope he ends up as a jovial sort who acts so to raise the morale of those around him Camilla, good Aversa could be cool, no other reason, none at all. Personally, I have the feeling I may prefer the Nohr characters, but eh, que sera.
  14. Let's see: 1. Make Garon one of the Good Guys, misguided, but not evil. Kust so that the writers don't take the easy route. (The only one I want above all else) 2. Tone down Pairing Up's power. 3. Keep the huge support roster, but make romantic supports a little natural. (Build up the Romance all throughout, maybe have S be love and then add an SS for marriage?) 4. More than one meaningful decision. 5. Light Magic, with classes that wield different types with an unpromoted Light-Magic using class. 6. More class statistical variation, depending on which class the character's from. 7. Deeper characters 8. More personalised animations for reclassed characters. No more of this generic outfits stuff, some of it looks plain wierd.
  15. Okay, this clear it up, I tremble for when I face Savages.
  16. Ah, okay. Just go to that battle today, anything on Savages?
  17. Hey, I've been playing TearRing Saga a bit recently and have come to an interesting place. When using the arena in Map 7, I fought an accurate, heavy-hitting enemy called the "Savage" and turned down a bout with a "Mage Knight" sorry for no pictures or video on hem, I din't think to get them at the time. Anyone know anything?
  18. Welcome, I hope you enjoy yourself. We're all decent folks here, as far as I've seen.
  19. While this may be true, a Lord is supposed to be a capable unit, able to fight well throughout the game, Leaf (Leif really, but who cares?) is teeth-grindingly incompetant, he has very few if any redeeming qualities and some of the lowest Lord bases in Fire Emblem history. So, please do explain how he is good.
  20. Then again, after some thought, I think you might be onto something. I'll give it a little time an then compare the Myrmidon idea against my current Barbarian idea and see which seems better. Oh, and I mean to say Swordmaster, not myrmidon in my initial reply. Thank you again.
  21. Thanks, I like that first fact idea. The reason I did a civilized barbarian is twofold. The first reason is that there is no character in the game that can join your army as a Barbarian/Berserker, if I'm not mistaken, it is the only class in Awakening in this predicament. The second is that a civilized Barbarian/Brigand has never been part of a Fire Emblem playable cast, Marty and Gonzalez were kind of simple minded, Garret was essentially a bandit who had a conscience, Dagda follows that line as well. One thing about him being weird, to me it's no weirder than an Armor Knight that not only isn't part of any official army at the start of the game. The myrmidon idea could make an interesting angle, but it reminds me a bit too much of Karel in FE6. The main reason I made him like that was for uniqueness that he would bring. One other thing, I don't want to add the 5th default Myrmidon to the game, 4's enough for me. Thank you for being honest.
