  1. I thought she was cute, clumsy, strong, good hearted, and very good wife material. I would have let her elope with Chrom, if I hadn't found this page: http://ca.ign.com/wikis/fire-emblem-awakening/Marriage_and_Children
  2. Escape from New York + L.A.! The real Snake (Kurt Russell) is in them.

  3. I hope the output stays the same, regardless of which company buys ATLUS. I'm gunning for SONY, so hopefully, I don't weep.
  4. I think that luck is an element that shapes your character. It adds depth to how they react when faced with adversity... Sure, not everyone's Vaike is going to be lucky, but when one is, it surely complements his personality. If Vaike isn't lucky, it changes his character into more of a comedic relief, and that's also good. Being unlucky is common trait in this world, and so is being lucky. I'm sure there are factors beyond our control that permit us to achieve goals, sometimes with little effort. If I were to attribute it to something in the FE world, I would say the RNG would be the factor beyond one's control, like destiny. It seems you don't like destiny, and want to have more control over your characters, so that their fate isn't sealed by a cold hearted computer. However, your method of control would have me get a leveling system like Oblivion, in which I would manually select the attributes I want my character to excel at. And, well, there goes the fun of the Russian Roulette Random Number Generator that we've all come to love (or hate). I think we should also add DEX, so that the characters can sense their surroundings more, in turn, dodging attacks.
  5. I'm pretty sure Level 5, Sony, Nintendo, Square-Enix, and Natsume are all going crazy. Marvelous AQL please. INDEX IS ATLUS, there is no longer a difference.
  6. It'll work in the first month, and then after that your heart will start beating, you'll be getting the jitters, and you will develop nervous tics. You cock your head back, unwillingly, look around to see if people saw that... You'll be an all around nervous person. Thinking you have some type of disease, you will visit the doctor, and she will tell you ''no more caffeine'', to which you will say ''if it helps, I'll do it!''. Then, the next morning, you will be out of energy, trying to get up, but just falling back into bed. You will get to work/class, and still feeling the accumulation of caffeine related anxiety in your system for another 4 weeks. You can't win. Also, if you start drinking coffee, your bladder will shrink, and you will have to visit the washroom constantly. On the bright side: Coffee is good for your metabolism, and acts as a laxative. However, if you started working out, making smoothies with anti-oxidants, and proteins, you will jump out of bed like a ninja. You just have to get passed the first week of working out.
  7. I see it as green, you say tomato, I say tomato.
  8. Turn down the brightness on all electronic devices you use 4 hours before bed. Also, do 45 minutes of cardio during the day, 5 hours before bed at max. You might want to stop playing games that require fast reflexes before bed. You might want to stop blasting music before bed.
  9. Ah I see, you don't like the green shadow that accompanies the hair.
  10. Unless you have patches of hair, I can only see this being an entirely painful endeavor. And what Paulina says is true, I saw it on Dr. Oz.
  11. You can't get remarried if your S/O has died. You can't marry many S/Os. When people die, their friends don't comment, you should have the ability to turn this on/off, if it ever existed. We need a map editor, that would make Free DLC for all! Also, more customization for AVY. The feet on characters look like they belong on porcelain dolls. We must get real feet.
  12. If you shave your face, be sure to apply a non-alcoholic aftershave to hydrate your skin, and prevent wrinkles. I got this tip from American Psycho. Surprisingly, it was good advice, coming from a movie that focused on blood lust.
  13. Welcome Serenes Forest, enjoy your stay! :D
  14. THE LOST GAIDEN Valhalla Warrior Staff: Summons great long gone warriors (at random) to the map, it can also summon your passed combatants with some sort of dialogue exchange based on how poorly they were treated in life (yeah, that's right, bitter ghosts lol), even making remarks about how their wife/husband married someone else after their death. (Marriage system is broken in Awakening, polygamy needed to stir things up, and marriage after death of a loved one). Seeing all this unfold would give you more incentive to let your units die, as it would be interesting to hear the thoughts of your camaraderies in retrospect. Based on my imagination, the units you would summon have a 20% chance of landing a critical strike on a foe, and a 33% chance if the owner of the scepter has low health with impeding death. The gravity of the damage inflicted on the enemy is based on the level of the Sage using the staff. In other words, the dead warrior is only as strong as the Sage using their energy to summon the deceased. RNG will generate stats on the fly, you will see them go from ?? to actual numbers corresponding to the actual level of the Sage. Even though it uses Anima magic, the first and only rule of the Valhalla Warrior Staff is: only Sages can use it. And it can only be used 5 times before it expires, forever. UNLESS, you keep feeding it souls, those souls are those of your units. For every dead unit, you get +1 on ability to use, YUM. You can only find this staff after sailing across the sea, fighting off sirens, hydras, and getting shipwrecked (surprisingly as a whole) to a cave in the middle of nowhere. Once you enter the cave, you'll have to battle skeletons, and serpent ladies, until you find a tomb to face-off with some revered character from a previous Fire Emblem game. Then there will be an emerging pedestal with a staff on it. But here's the catch: you can't see the top of the staff because it's all so fuzzy, emitting a piercing white light, when you go up to touch it, you are teleported to the opposite side of the world where it's cold, and barren. You can finally grab the staff, and gleam at its various shades of blue heptagon gem (obviously paralleling the many hair dyes Marth, and his successors exhibited throughout the history of FE games). Suddenly, you hear a muffled ''Hee-ho!''. Chapter Condition: You have to have lost x number of units to enter this gaiden, trollolol Intellgent Systems style.
  15. Wow, awesome submissions, I can tell everyone sank a lot of effort into their banners, it was hard to nail two down, in an order, no less. Bravo!
  16. That last tidbit got me very excited for the eventual release. Any news is good news, I would assume the Pegasus to be considered a demonic creature. I love to read through speculation, so this is why I'm going to go with a theory based on lineage, and the time for those worthy of wielding some weapons to come forth. Reawaken the Marth/Caeda/Ike/Roy/Chrom within you. Something, something with long elegant hair, headphones, and hipster glasses just for fun. In addition to being a Lord, I also double as a Seer, and my seer senses are tingling... JACK FROST WILL BE IN THIS GAME. ”Hee-ho” he said.
  17. I would wonder what my class is... I would also try to make the most of my digital transition by marrying a rich princess, and faking nobility à la Casanova, if I'm not a Lord. Woo! Would I be anime?
  18. Absolutely devastating, practically a young man at 51. I have yet to watch an episode of The Sopranos, but he is revered among Hollywood legends. You were not long for this world, James!!
  19. A bad grade is what I consider to be anything under A. I think I'm too used to being on top of things, even if I try to be lazy, I usually end up with a book in my hand. Must be some sort of defense mechanism. Although, my studying habits have changed quite a bit from high school to university. going from mediocre to non-existent. /blue blood brag
  20. The v.3.01 patch for New Mystery of the Emblem works flawlessly, my compliments to the chef, and thread starter ;) Those of us who cannot read Japanese welcome this with open-arms.
  21. Thanks SugarCookie! Must be due to exams, or personal stuff like that. Any time is a good time to salute your Lord! (lol) Oh hey, this guy is legitimately a mouse that's finally going 3D in a couple of months. Thanks. ---- Still no cigar on the 3DS XL good one edition... Called up a national chain to voice my discontentment, and they said they could potentially disassemble 3DS XLs at their warehouse, and give me a Frankenstein. But until then, I'm welcome to open all the stock in the city.
  22. Good one, I better polish that stat so it can finally pan-out. lol
  23. True, I did meet you in the chat. Luckily my asset is Magic, and therefore I will proceed with my plan to pull Olivia for Chrom. :) Why thank you Ace Tactician, I'm from rival O-Town. ---------------- The new 3DS XL I got has a yellow tint, now I have to go back to the electronics store, and open moar stock. I had a perfect one before, just had damned screen flicker.
