  1. It is partially to tie all the universes together, such as explaining the Deadlord's ties to Grima.
  2. Elibe is quite Greco-roman. Lycia is Greece, Etruria is Rome, Bern is the Huns, Sacae is the Persians, Illia and the Western Isles are Germanic tribes
  3. In a time gone by, the holy kingdom of Thebea and the Jotana empire were at war. Then, Jotana got greedy and launched an assault on the numerous city states in the highlands to the north. However, under the leadership of Pericles, first emperor of Marchea, the city states united into the Marchean Empire. Marchea crushed Jotana, ad took most of their land, becoming overnight the most powerful empire on the continent of Nactia. Meanwhile, the monarchy of Thebea was overthrown by a brutal revolution that massacred the nobility. The infant princess Sylvia was rescued from execution and adopted by Vespasian, supreme commander of Marchea's army. Marchea and the de facto dictatorship of Thebea have been at an uneasy peace ever since. However, First citizen Maximus of Thebea and Empress Cornelia of Marchea have been pushed into alliance against the return or Jotana. In the second Great War of Nactia, there will be betrayal, death, sorrow, and, most of all, friendship. That is the background of an idea for FE 14 that could become a fanfic, depending on the response to the idea. I will now go into detail about the characters and nations. Lords Sylvia is a bit of a cross between Marribelle and Sully. On the one hand, she is the ex-princess of what was once the most culturally advanced nation, but she is also raised by Marchea's best general, so she was raised to be a warrior. More than anything, she seeks justice towards Maximus, first citizen of Thebea, for the genocide of the men, women, and children of the aristocracy. She also wishes to reclaim her throne. Alphonse is a mercenary who fights against Jotana for revenge. He is inspired by Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist and Lonqu from FE 13. He knows full well what Thebea has done, but considers them better than Jotana. (He has a negative history with Marchea). Alphonse and Sylvia get put in the same special ops unit in the allied army, and must work out their differences to defeat their common foe. Other good guys Vespasian has all of the physical prowess of General Zelgius and the tactical genius of Soren. He is the supreme commander of Marchea's army, and is a kind but demanding father to Sylvia. He has a mysterious past and a dark secret. Alexander is Vespasian's biological son and is a captain in Marchea's army. He is Sylvia's older brother and the Jagen. Cornelia is the empress of Marchea and is like Emmeryn except resorts to violence quicker. She cares for her people, but encounters opposition for her gender. Nina is the princess of Marchea who is captured by Jotana, an event which sets the first part of the plot into motion. She is pampered, but is good at heart. Xexes is the Prime Minister of Marchea. He is a commoner who rose up against the odds. These are the non main good guys who drive the plot. There are other, more minor characters, much like any FE game. Villains Napoleon is the insane king of Jotana, who desires revenge against Marchea for executing his father. Bernardo is Napoleons brother, with a deep rooted hatred towards Vespasian. Joseph is Napoleons son, who fights in the hopes of pleasing his father. Maximus is first citizen of Thebea, who wants to unite the continent under democracy by any means necessary. What do you guys think? Any feedback? If demand is great enough, I will make this into a fanfic.
  4. I have a question. How long will this fix be, and what time period will it go up to?
  5. How does being generally disliked make you not overrated when you(in my opinion) deserve to be hated. Also, you contradicted yourself. If most people consider a character underrated, they are not, in fact, underrated, making it more justified to consider Vaike overrated.
  6. Where exactly does it say that Marribelle won't look at commoners? I have played the game many times, and I do not remember that. Also, could you provide me with the exact quote from the support conversation? I totally agree with you about Tharja, though I think most people only marry herfor the boobs.
  7. A character can still be overrated and be disliked. For example, before the Allies found out about the Holocaust, they considered Hitler a warmonger. I consider him overrated in that case. It is a similar situation with Vaike. I hate him more that most people, so I consider him overrated in my opinion. And I did in fact state that I considered Marribelle underrated, though based on how many people agree with me, she might not be at this point. And yes, I agree with you about Exellus. And your welcome.
  8. Keep in mind that Vaike would have had plenty of time to see Marribelle's other side because the Sheperds did not just form magically when the avatar arrived. Also, the force sent to Valm was most defiantly a real army with rules, and if Ylisse lost, what happened to that peasant guy in Port Ferox would have happened all over Archanea. Vaike, however, continues to be the utterly undicsiplined clod he is, and completely fails to grasp the gravity of the situation. The Sheperds are fighting to save humanity from genocide at the hands of Grima, and Vaike cannot be bothered to bring his axe. That disgusts me.
  9. Last year I was bullied by a religious fanatic who hated my for being atheist. If he dropped dead, I wouldn't feel happy, but not sad, either. However, if you could revive him and make it so he was out of your life forever, would you?
  10. In Vaikes supports with Marribelle, he assumes she'd treat the people of his slum badly by the fact that she's a noble. I consider that classist. In addition, it does not matter if he would be punished for his disrespect in the Sheperds. The fact is, he should have been, and his gross lack of any regard for military discipline places him on my hate list. In the army, obeying orders is the difference between life and death, and Vaikes neglect to do something as basic as bringing a weapon is a danger to himself and others. In addition, his extreme hubris is a constant annoyance.
  11. Vaike is sexist and classist. He is Rude to his superiors. He freaking FORGETS HIS AXE! If Vaike was in an army with even the slightest pretense of discipline, he would have been court martialed 100000000000000000 times over.
  12. Over is Vaike. If Vaike was considered a genocidal Nazi he'd be overrated. I always kill Vaike the first chance I get. Vaike should die in a hole. For underrated, Marribelle, pretty much what everyone else says. Also, risking her life for her country kinda makes her auto spoiled sweet in my book. Also she hates Vaike. That too.
  13. Double battle with a partner. How does Wobbuffet get encore?
  14. Are you saying he deserved to die? I respect your opinion, but theft is NOT a capital crime.
  15. Can anyone make this idea work? I want to use encore and torment in conjunction with shadow tag to lock the foe into struggle.
  16. 3 mastery classes are three classes that you can give to anyone of any class to make them that class with the properties of the old classes and new. They are: Alchemists are masters of magic and staves. They have godly magic, all other stats based on the original classes Warlords are dracoknights who mastered the weapon triangle and use bows. They have insane str, all other stats based on original stats. Black Knights are mounted generals that wield all weapons, the stats start out balanced and grow based on the original class. These classes are all aquired by giving any unit above level 10(or promoted) a philosophers stone, conquerors fist, or shadow mount, respectively. Each item is found only once.
  17. But Darin was never in the position to force Pricila to marry him. Clarine, on the other hand, was Narshen's prisoner.
  18. Touché, though it still would spark outrage if Narshen wanted to marry Clarine, as she's like 15. (Then again, what's she doing fighting in a war)
  19. Chapter 4, Erik pretty much tries to sell Clarine to Narshen as a sex slave. Was this the reason Nintendo didn't localize fe6 after Fe7s success?
  20. The only thing that bothered me with Macaiah was that she was only trying to buy time. She did not need to use that tactic. Avatar did. Another thing that bothers me about that was that she tried to kill a kid.
  21. This is my first fanfic. The idea is that instead of being a dumbass, Eltshan fights Shagall from the beginning, and becomes king of Augustria. Augustria is then the last bastion of freedom as through house Nodions bravery and Eltshan's strategy it resists Grandbells attempts at conquest. Our story begins on the outskirts of Isaach, as one of the last lights of hope of humanity is about to be stamped out... Chapter 1- Grave Tidings The 14 year old boy ran. He ran like he had never run before. He knew full well that the future of Jugdral lay in his hands. "Where'd that little bastard go?" Shouted one of his pursuers. " How should I know," yelled another one. Oifaye heard the footsteps growing softer and sighed with relief. He looked down at the bundle in his hands. "You are gonna have a great destiny, Celice. You are gonna save the world someday." That, unfortunately, was not to be the case. The magic descended suddenly, and without warning. Oifaye and Celice were gone. There was not even dust left over. Manfroy, from his perch, smiled. The spell had worked perfectly. There was no one left to oppose his master now. No one except... Him. Sigurd... Cuan... Gone. And they wouldn't come back. Damn it, thought Eltshan, My sister could be being tortured to death right now, and I'm focused on my friends from military school. The new king of Augustria did, of course, have more pressing matters at hand. He had received news of the massacre of Sigurd's forces at Barhara only hours before. His beloved sister, Lachesis, had been in Sigurd's army. Eltshan needed to know what had happened to his sister. One thing was sure: if they had laid a finger on Lachesis, Grandbell would pay in blood. "Cross Knights, form up" Eltshan barked. His men charged a contingent of Grandbell troops holed up in a village. They were no match for Augustrias finest. "Brother... help" Eltshan looked down and gasped. His sister was lying on the ground, bloodied. "They caught up with me... Nanna's safe... help." Eltshan helped his younger sister to her feet. "You are safe now, sister. Lets go home. A great storm is coming, one that will sweep up all of Jugdral. We must prepare." He turned to one of the captured Grandbell soldiers. "Why is the emperor attacking the nations of Jugdral? What does Alvis hope to gain from this? Power?" The king demanded. "The Emperor... desires peace and justice! Long live Emperor..." The man fell forward, an arrow protruding from his back. The Augustrian company looked down in horror. There was no further discussion. None was needed. The Augustrians vanished into the night. The assassin looked down from his perch. When the Augustrians were gone, he jumped down, arranging the body in an easily visible way. His work was completed. Now, Grandbell would have the excuse it needed to make war on Augustria. The Archbishop would be pleased.
