  1. DK loses in most growths, but has higher bases in some key stats. Sirius` Sword rank is mostly irrelevant as a Paladin (well at least until late-game). Still he is better off as a DK for SPD growth. Activity is drawing unwanted attention to Sirius' "flaws" and is counter to my wishes for Sirius' placement in the new H3 Tier list. Could you guys stop posting here? Or can a mod delete this thread?
  2. More favouritism nonsense. Sirius is getting exp at the cost of MU who is 15/11.60 going into C14. MU btw has been setting kills for the likes of Linde, Caeda, Luke, Catria, and even Palla not just Sirius. I make an effort to do full or near-full routs of maps (at the very least most of the dragons). I don’t squander the DK exp on earlier maps either by letting useless units with absolutely no future on my team OHKO them with a forged bow. And I should point out, I’ve put more effort on the LHS of C13 (especially that AI manipulation) than everything else in C13-C14 combined and Sirius wasn’t part of the LHS of C13 at all. As for Luke potentially hitting 14/10… who says he isn’t heading into C15 at that level or close to it? Luke is operating independently of Sirius for the majority of maps, they are almost never competing for the same kills and when they are I am definitely giving them to Luke. It’s not a joke. She is outclassed by both Catria and Luke starting C17. To be honest Linde is ORKOing things when Palla can’t anymore. Even Sniper!Caeda with her ridiculous speed is outperforming her. Palla is definitely amazing pre-C15, but back on the mainland it’s is just odd-jobs and support flier for her. She is essentially in direct competition with Sirius for jobs, except Sirius has a wider selection. I guess technically she’s slightly better in C19 because she gives support to Catria. Yea, you’re right Sirius is a useless dumbshit as a horseman. I can’t possibly see how having a 9 MOV unit with access to both bows (including the bow forge since Luke has Parthia – yes, if you don’t waste the bow it can last this long) and swords (including the Brave sword) could possibly be of help to anyone during C21-C23. I have no idea where berserker came from since Sirius has no axe rank. I never claimed he is a better long-term investment than Luke. I’m kind of confused as to why you would think I would. I’ve made posts arguing he’s a better recipient for exp than Caeda (since she caprams SPD and her other growths suck) and Palla (less potential than Sirius due to class restriction and crappy SPD growth) in the dragon chapters but not Luke.... Now I would also argue Luke to be in Top but he needs way too many boosters and babying in the early game. I’ve made a post regarding Sirius’ --/17 average stats after leveling up in certain classes and 3 (=fistful?) stat-boosters. He is perfectly viable, he’s even borderline 3HKO by wyrms as a horseman in C21.
  3. Well, I don't know what to discuss since dondon151 hasn't responded to my response to his response to my response to his response to my response to his response to my arguments for Sirius to Top tier. I'm uncertain of whether that statement is exact or just precise. I'm not arguing Sirius is better than anyone currently in Top. Just that he is Top tier material. Some stuff to cement Athena's dominance over Gordin... I really hate archers. I don`t know why I used strikethrough, I really do hate archers. C1 - I am 90% (made that number up) that C1 on H3 is doable with only MU, PK!Cecille, General!Arran, reclassed healer, Malicia, and one other combat unit. Which means Gordin's contributions here would be minimal at best. C2 - Depending on if you have the bow forge or not for this chapter, he may not be necessary here. C3 - So like back when I had a lot of difficulty with the DKs in this chapter I always fielded multiple bowmen or I had the bow forge to eliminate the DKs without much of a hassle. However, you can actually have Pirate!MU (with the +4Mt Ironaxe forge I strongly recommend), Catria, Malicia and any other unit reclassed to a hunter can handle the DKs. DK!Arran needs to pull the center DKs (2 of which need should then be redirected to Malicia`s location). Arran also needs to switch his weapon to an axe so that Marth will be targeted by the DK that wasn`t redirected otherwise I think Arran doesn`t have the HP to tank the Master Seal DK. (Arran`s Silver lance + 2x Marth Steel sword will kill assuming they both used RP. Marth should also be able to survive two rounds of combat vs. the DK with a vulnerary usage.) Pirate!MU and Catria can cross the sea for routing the boss area. Optionally, you can also send like Cavalier!Luke equipped with a lance or something with Marth if the DKs aren`t behaving. Sometimes the center DKs like to go up to harass Palla in the north if you just have Arran and Marth moving west. So yeah... Gordin isn`t really necessary.
  4. I assumed a large part of why Malicia was in Top was because of Hammerne saving a lot of turns. Yumina isn’t far off if Malicia was there mainly because of Physic, Fortify and potential Gharnef-slaying (Yumina has better base SPD for this actually). High was good for her but she doesn’t belong in top since she isn’t core. Tiki should move down. Wouldn’t she negatively affect turns if you were to use her? Nagi could move above all 4 Bishops. One-time staff usage vs. killing dragons with a bit of help. Sirius... I thought I made a pretty good case to get him into Top. Really, he is nowhere near as people make him out to be and he has the advantages of being a male unit with good weapon ranks. He just requires exp and 3 stat-boosters. Full (or near-full) routing most maps will get you the exp you need and being diligent about making sure you don`t "waste" any kills by giving them to temp units will make sure your main group is appropriately leveled. (This doesn’t come at the cost of turns or reliability, you just need to look more carefully at the map.) I hope your pants are on fire PKL. You said you would move him.
  5. That’s interesting because my Sirius going into C13 is --/7.60. Weird. This must be a save where I didn’t pump Sirius full of boss kills earlier. I was certain he could get higher. Anyways, it is certainly a tenable assertion. Indeed, this is what I am suggesting. Sounds crazy? I just might be. Well, you’d be surprised what Feena + Malicia can do for a combat units exp consumption. That’s what he gets in C13 and C14. Well dragon kills but same side effect. Lmao. Cost of a weaker MU? Is this a joke? MU hit 15/7 in C8. I sometimes have to forge – Mt on handaxes so he DOESN’T ORKO wyrms in C11 so others can kill them. Seriously, give MU a Dracoshield, RP, Cancer and Taurus armed with a steel axe or a cheap iron forge and he will go rape (it’s a 2RKO but still) some generals in C8. As for Palla, I don’t care. She can do what I need her to with the sparse amount of kills she gets. She’s mostly a support flier or doing odd jobs similar to Sirius during most of the chapters later on anyways. Only difference is I need male units to do some heavy lifting post C20x. My mistake. Didn’t realize that was what I posted. My playstyle is not relaxed though. Catria does get 5 dragons in 6 turns in C13. Marth gets 9 dragons throughout C11-C14. Incoming HUGE wall of text. EDIT: Yeah, the presentation of the spoiler text is kind of an eyesore. Sorry about that. I bolded some stuff to make it easier but it still looks like crap. For C13 and C14 only the TL;DR stuff is imperative to my claim. The other stuff is just specifics if you don't believe me. EDIT#2: Sirius was level --/9.54 going into C14 and at the end of PP of turn 1 he was --/10.72. Another thing, I missed an opportunity to get him a potential thief kill. Palla could swap his weapon so he's equipped with the Master Sword. Man...
  6. I’ve been arguing for Sirius to be in Top and others have asserted he should be in High. A lot of Sirius’s utility comes from a wide class selection and good enough weapon ranks. Depending on what forges you have available he could actually be really adaptable. Anyways, this thread is help people see what I see in Sirius and to know what forges people make. The forges don’t have to be for a particular mode or even for efficiency play. These are the forges I think are pretty good for H3. Most of these forges are pretty common knowledge obviously. I think only like 2 or 3 stand out. In not-so-efficient play I like to make some fun forges like Excalibur Mt Shavers so I can pretend this game isn't sexist and that Linde is just as good as Etzel. Worth it! What forges do you make?
  7. Fair enough, bad argument on my part. He is a promoted unit, if you intend on using him he should get exp. It doesn’t have to be boss kills. Promoted kills are also fine. For the record, I don’t go out of my way to give him kills. He reaches bosses in a timely manner and contributes enough damage to warrant the kill being given to him. Boss kills C4-C9 are mostly between MU, Sirius and Palla anyways. There is no shortage of exp for MU even without boss kills. So it’s just Palla, and I’ve never had an issue getting Palla 6 levels before C8 without boss kills. Now I do give Sirius a lot of dragon kills in the valley but I give Catria more (I think like 10 for Catria and I don’t think it’s possible to get Sirius the same amount). All I can remember is Catria goes on a rampage in C13 killing 5 dragons in 6 turns and Marth gets like 8 or 9 so yeah. I concentrate exp on certain units. Not just Sirius. Admittedly, Sirius is just finding odd jobs in C15-C20. To be fair though, usually everyone outside of Catria, Horseman and MU are doing the same. But still he can do things to gain exp in those chapters. Surely he can gain 4 levels in the span of C15-C21 (at least with an arena use). And assume he came out of C14 at level 13 (not insanely unreasonable). This is --/17 Horseman!Sirius (8 levels as a DK, 4 levels each as an SM and Hero) + Angelic Robe, Energy Drop, Speedwing (3 boosters, calm down). 47.8HP, 23STR, 24SKL, 26.4 SPD, 13LUK, 16DEF SM!Sirius same stuff 49.8HP, 22STR, 29SKL, 30SPD, 13LUK, 16DEF. This looks pretty good to me. I swear, I’m not biased towards Caeda. She’s the lowest combat unit in Top tier other than Marth (but he might not be there for long). Make a case for Caeda to be drowned in exp. What is she doing with levels past a certain point? Her performance change with additional levels is abysmal. Her ability to kill things relies on her SPD in tandem with effective weaponry. What happens when she can’t double or the enemy isn’t weak to any weapons she can use? Elice and Nyna have A staves. Lena has B. So Maria is the worst of the 4. This is mostly a joke argument not to be taken seriously but humour me and ponder this for a minute (or a few seconds); are Elice and Nyna ever going to use Fortify? Even if it is laughable, doesn't Lena's ability to use Hammerne in the endgame warrant her being above Elice and Nyna?
  8. Yes, I did think that. Originally I had over-valued Hauteclere utility and had thought Rody was a lesser version of Draug who took longer to achieve what Draug could. After reconsidering her Hauteclere utility, comparing her to Leiden (growth and base-wise) and also reconsidering Rody and Draug, I have changed my stance(s). I don’t see Leiden’s Lance Rank lead taking over her Hauteclere utility. And training her and giving her boosters allows for more avenues to recruit Michalis and Maria (it’s not much but Minerva > Leiden still). Rody’s has a terrible start, requires some work to get levels in the prologue and has no sword rank like Luke. While he’ll probably need an Energy Drop to meet benchmarks, he’ll need one less Speedwing than Luke. 16/1 Rody (5 levels as a cavalier and 10 levels as a hunter) has a mean SPD of 18.25 (20.25 with Scorpio or Speedwing) as a Paladin or DK. RP away from being able to double dragons. I still disagree with Draug being a good unit. Great SPD but more problems with HP, STR and LUK (which apparently is a huge deal) than Rody. Potential-wise Rody has Draug beat. I’ll admit to sandbagging Caeda but MANY of her levels will not include STR or DEF, only a FEW will. In fact, anytime she has wings, I am grateful to get HP on top of the conventional SKL, SPD, LUK but I won’t continue on this matter since… Thanks… but I notice he wasn’t actually moved yet. Also, Gordin is still above Leiden/Belf. TBH I don’t see what his contributions are outside of C2 and C3. 8 turning C1 is incredibly lax. Athena who contributes massively in the prologue should be above him. I don’t see how it is a silly argument. Anyways, I’ll settle for him dropping to High since he needs too many stat-boosters (including Maturity Drop and Boots). --/17 Etzel (reasonable level for C23?) has a mean 17.5 SPD. He has 50% chance to get 18 SPD at level 17 with BINOM.DIST.RANGE(11, 0.5, 6, 11), then one wing and RP for the 22 SPD. And an 88.67% chance to get 16 SPD at level 17 with BINOM.DIST.RANGE(11, 0.5, 4, 11), 2 wings and RP for 22 SPD. Yeah, I’m changing my previous stance on Katarina > Wendell. It should be the other way around. Wendell is underrated compared to some of the other staff bots; Etzel and Yumina in particular. He could have a staff rank lead on Etzel. C staff rank as a Bishop by the start of C9 at which point he obsoletes base Yumina at least. He can also get C staff rank as a Sage for C13 so Physic and Excalibur which is hard or impossible for Etzel. Not arguing for Wendell > Etzel, but rather reconsider positions for most staff bots. Maybe Yumina and Etzel a bit lower and Wendell above Julian? Sirius is used in all, if not virtually all, efficient playthroughs. He was in High before I started arguing for him to be in Top, he used to be in Top (from what I can surmise from the first few comments), and now he should be moving back into Top. What definition are you using that would make you say Sirius “sucks”?
  9. Standard C6 strategy is to have Marth go for the 2 chests and be rescued on turn 6 for a 6 turn clear. Julian is just fielded to recruit Rickard on this map instead of C5, in addition to getting the 10K bullion. Edit: I made an edit to the post I made before this. It's in the spoilers of About Sirius (part 2).
  10. About Sirius (part 2) Re: Minerva and Linde. Whoa… was Linde moved or something? I think she deserves to be above Draug for sure. I mean, Horseman!Draug only has 60% HP growth, no base sword or bow rank. Minerva will never double anything as a DK, so Hauteclere is really only good for OHKOing mages in 2 chapters (C10 and C15 if she is being trained) and chip damage. Her growths are not good. She fits the description of Upper Mid better than High. She’s actually comparable to Leiden. I think he has her beat in offense with Lances and has more HP, but she has more LUK and DEF.
  11. You quoted about Julian and Rickard's relative positions and said, something to the effect of Julian > Rickard and it is reflected on the tier list. I was pointing out that while the tier list does address the fact that Julian > RIckard, it is in accurate as to how much by using the relative placement of Nagi and Tiki and the fact that Rickard was between those two in addition to Rickard being two full tiers below Julian. I should probably try to be formal though, seeing how this is a tier list. My apologies. I will also use strikethroughs when I am joking. Also, apparently Julian's combat was taken into consideration. 14 SPD was mentioned as pro for him. I mean I guess it's there, Armscroll for Devil Sword? If someone was serious about using Julian I guess he could be viable for a time. How exactly is this done? As I understand it, for rigging a critical (40%) on say two turns after a save point is used. I believe this would just add 3 turns to the expected turn count. 2 (turns after save point) times 1 over 0.4, then subtract the original 2 turns it would have taken without the critical? Do expected turn counts penalize needing stat-blessed units in a very precise manner? I'm assuming it is at the very least complicated. I've run into issues where Etzel was only borderline KOing wyrms, although in that playthrough I was fielding Linde instead of Etzel so I know if he doesn't run into those issues normally. Either way, 4 MAG is a pretty significant gap. It takes Etzel 10 levels to get 4 MAG and it takes Wendell 20 levels. Basically, Wendell on average won't even have base Etzel MAG. Etzel also has better durability (winning in both HP and DEF), although in some cases this could turn out to be a bad thing when you want a mage to tank a ballista hit.
  12. About Sirius About Marth Belf/Leiden > Gordin (he has bad growths for long term use) and I usually just pick archers based on specific STR value so they combo nicely with another unit for a kill on DKs in C3. Past C3 I don’t see Gordin being fielded. Arran > Minerva. But Minerva I think is still better than Draug, Cecille and Rody. No training required, C Lances and Hauteclere utility. Katarina > Wendell. I’ve never needed to field Wendell, and his staff rank isn’t as useful as Katarina’s. Katarina can also be useful as a long-shot Gharnef slayer option. (She has nice SPD base +growth and nice MAG base as well.) Michalis can be fixed up to be decent with a lot of Goddess Icons. He’s got good bases. Just his LUK really. Maybe to Upper Low tier? If you give him the Icons, he may not be detrimental to turn counts.
  13. IIRC grandjackal posted that Ryan could 2 and 3 turn P-6 and P-7 at base with MaleCav!MU. Also, by feeding Ryan boss kills I’ve gotten Ryan to level 5 before him needing the 6 SPD when I did this with Knight!MU. On average, he would have 6 SPD. Using the binomial calculation, he has a 68.75% chance to meet his 6 SPD benchmark. He should be penalized for it. If we aren’t using Linde, likely we are expecting to use one on Malicia so she or Xane could fight Gharnef. And MU would probably need one to weild Hauteclere vs. Hardin. So 2 Armscrolls for Luke is 5000 gold. Maturity drop Marth can get away without stat-boosters until C21. If you feed Sirius boss kills (not that hard to do) he should gain enough speed so that he can double dragons as an SM with an RP at the least. 16/2 Palla with one wing and RP can double dragons. No one else needs wings. Ryan can have the remaining 3. If we are using Linde, great one more Speed wing available for Ryan. Fair enough. Horseman > Linde. I thought personal experience means nothing for tier lists? Sirius can… C15 – partake in boss route (killing a mage or ballista) and follow up with routing the entrance to Est’s prison or opening the door C16 – he can kill the soldier surely (seriously, he can do this… no one fails to meet this benchmark) C16x – probably not fielded C17 – SM!Sirius with Mercurius can likely ORKO a DK C18 – he can kill a ballista, he can also OHKO a Paladin with a Ridersbane forge you need for the next chapter C19 – he has Ridersbane forge and can do some stuff C20 – SM!Sirius with Mercurius strikes again C20x – probably not fielded Sure he’s doing the type of work you’d expect an intern to do over say an employee with 15 years of work experience but he’s done a lot of things for you in C4-C9 and then he’s held his own during the dragon chapters. He’s paid his dues. The description for Top tier only requires the core for many chapters, not perform exceptionally from join time until end of game. And he still has Brave Sword to himself. Although there should be a clarification on what efficient play is. I personally disagree with expected turncounts. You penalize someone for rigging a critical near a save point. How would you penalize someone for taking advantage of a blessed unit? Or would you at all? Why are criticals penalized while stat-blessings aren’t? I prefer a compromise between turncounts and realtime. If a save point is used, and the very next action is an attempt at a critical that’s over 30% I think that is more than acceptable. Still there should be clarification for this. I feel like Catria is overrated but you’re probably right here. Well, that’s just nonsense. The two statements have nothing to do with each other. The stylus renders the A button superfluous. And besides, I do tier the A button above the L button. It’s right there below the Stylus. (Just kidding, stylus sucks.) No, I was kidding about Marth to top of Top. Honestly I would bench him if I could. Without forced actions and forced deployment he’s a lot like Julian except better bases. But he is usable with a lot of stat-boosters and he gives out a lot of supports so I will reiterate. If we are going by his combat prowess he’s probably fit for somewhere in High, or maybe Upper Mid. I do not think Marth’s ability to fight Medeus should count either. That’s just bullshit. However, has anyone actually managed to kill him without help from Marth at all? I want PKL to make a clarification about what can be used to tier Marth, or just remove Marth from tiering. Without the fact that you need Marth to seize, and he is practically mandatory to fight Medeus what is he worth? He’s a class-locked, 7 MOV unit, with okayish bases and decent growths, and is the only unit that can visit villages. Seriously, is this a joke? He’s Julian with better bases, he gives out support bonuses, and he can visit villages. Um… bench. Oh wait, forced deployment. What bullshit is this IS? Top Tier is defined as ”Units that are core to achieving low turn counts on many maps, and do not require many resources or a team composition to do this effectively.” Does Feena not fit this description perfectly? She is core to achieving low turn counts on every map after join time. She requires no resources. She doesn’t require a specific team composition, but she does require one that is not substandard. Obviously, you can’t expect her to carry the weight of the entire 7 platoon being fielded at once but given a team of combat able units that can hold their own against the majority of enemy units, she going above and beyond what is required to be placed in Top Tier. Is there another unit that is going above and beyond what is required to be placed in Top Tier? As far as team composition, I think it’s fair to assume everyone currently in Top is assumed to make it on to the team (except for lolYumina) for efficient/LTC play. I mean really, read the description for Top Tier. If someone came to you with countless exceptional reference letters, and will work for free or very little, why would you not hire them? Also, if team composition is not as assumed as I think it is than Xane needs to drop. Because that guy needs a GOOD unit to imitate or he’s useless. Combat? Trolling? E Swords… what combat? I rationalized Julian’s placement as such. He gets you 10K Gold at a time where you may be hurting for cash, especially if you like to distribute stat-boosters early on and forge really expensive ass bows. Julian is better than Rickard… sure but by how much? Two tiers worth? Because that’s the current difference between them. Nagi is easily argued to be significantly better than Tiki. But they are in the same tier. Oh did I mention, Nagi is in the same tier as Rickard. If you think that is funny, guess who is currently separating Nagi and TIki.
  14. There are none except C6 and you only need one. I don't think you ever need 2 thieves. Between Thief staff, Master Keys, Door Keys, and Marth with the Fire Emblem, you never really need a thief past C6. The Swordslayer in C14 is nice but it isn't necessary and is usually a consolation prize if you don't have the team composition for a 5 turn clear. Recruiting Rickard is kind of annoying in C5 and even if you do manage it, he can't tank the Swarm Bishop in C6 on his way to the 10K bullion. He's like the worst unit. Matters to me. Marth to top of Top. Can't even get past C1 without him. If we are going by Marth's combat prowess he should find a nice home in High. Definitely not Top, needs way too many stat-boosters on top of the one and only boots.
  15. Linde, Luke, Ryan Athena vs. Other Prologue Peeps Sirius Xane Arran and some units from High Yumina Palla vs. Catria I EDITED THIS SPOILER Placement of Marth Feena vs. Royal Airforce (also Malicia and Avatar/MU) Stuff that is below this line I don’t really care about but may be relevant to you or someone else?
  16. Jill (growth units) is(are) more likely to be RNG screwed than Haar(prepromotes). I haven't played RD at all, and I haven't beaten PoR but for FE in general the idea of using a prepromote comes from them being serviceable at base stats and thus never actually needing stat ups. Stat ups are nice especially for someone like say Seth, Titania, Marcus but these units can all function for a good many chapters without stat ups. As for growth rates and the remaining number of levels that a unit can level up, they both affect a unit's susceptibility to RNG screwage. But it's not as simple as looking at averages or variance, or even skewness and kurtosis. If prepromotes are at risk of not meeting their averages, then it's even worse for growth units who need to meet benchmarks every few chapters throughout the course of the game to remain usuable. Long term averages mean nothing, especially for a growth unit who's has gained a few levels but still failed to meet their first benchmark. Is the unit still usable or it it just being shoehorned in after this point?
  17. Feena in LTC? Did you get the Leo shard? Was no screenshot, unless I am blind. Is Palla dropped permanently or just temporarily?
  18. Ryan (Me) vs. Luke (You) (FE12) Efficient play of H3 with Rainbow Potion, Maturity Drop, and Bond Drop. No Everybody's Situation or Wifi-Shops allowed. Base arena and rigging in base arena is acceptable for up to 3 total stats of your choosing (it starts to get hard to win after three battles). You can choose who opens, but I'm defending Ryan. (Ironic, considering I've made a number of posts arguing Ryan sucks.) I will also say by "Efficient play" I mean a compromise between low turn counts and real time. In my definition of efficient, it is acceptable to rig ONE crit, if 1) the weapon has innate crit chance OR the total crit chance is above 25% and 2) a save point is used to force it. It is also acceptable to force a difficult sequence involving multiple sub 60 displayed hit rates. Growth rigging is also allowed during the prologue as long as the the rigging does not result in characters being more than 1 full point above their averages for any clutch stat (HP, STR, SPD, DEF). I am willing to adapt or complete drop my definition of "Efficient play if that's what it will take for someone to debate me. That's right, I have absolutely no conviction. Debate me.
  19. Units with good bases often come with better weapon/staff ranks as well. Giving them even more flexibility, potential damage output and utility. Although in a game like FE12 on H3, H4 and even H2, where even your good SwordMasters will have trouble doubling enemies in the mid and late game chapters, it's important to have a good mix of growth units in addition to units that can baby those growth units.
  20. Astram is failure. Of all the people who join with ``holy weapons`` or whatever he is definitely the worst. He will even try to kill Midia instead of auto-recruit himself if she is in his attack range in FE11. He is a confirmed woman beater and the complete opposite of a Hero. Good job on managing to keep him alive for 30 turns. Rody more DEF than SPD, would totally kick ass as a General in C8 if you had mixed sets, but I think he could do well as a DK too.
  21. I always resented the GBA games for involving dodge tanking (ironic since I love SMs) and subpar hit rates. Now that I think about it save stating is okay, especially for FE6`s BS hit rates. Too many chapters are just too long to have any sort of reliability without RNG abuse of some kind. But save stating for DS games isn`t cool since chapter saves exist and you usually can have short, reliable sequences. Never tried to LTC the Wii games and never even played FE 1 through 5 so I don`t know about those. Is there a program for this? Seems incredibly useful. As a side note though, this seems like more abuse than save states.
  22. I feel it`s acceptable for dry runs. But submitted attempts should be with as little abuse as possible.
  23. He`s managing to get exp for the group he`s using which is good, but he`s using a lot of unpromoted units that aren`t fliers. C7 is a more or less an only-fly zone. And C8 I think will be a total pain. I think he can still low turn the map (mainly by way of Palla luring the generals elsewhere while everyone else just sneaks in, but lame-turning seems tough. Probably have to deal with generals (including the reinforcement generals) head on. He has almost no effective weaponry against the generals. And those things are basically walls, moving walls that hit really hard. I mean he has Caeda, but not Myrm or SM!Luke, and I don`t think he is really using Sirius (although he might be able to be a temp substitute). I was going to offer some advice and recommend forging an armourslayer to deal with the generals, but that isn`t necessarily a good option with only one C rank sword user. Basically his choice of units (especially with regards to weapon ranks) are not optimal to handle the upcoming maps. I expect some very intricate shifting and use of choke points to fend of the reinforcement sandwich to save the day for C8.
  24. Well, fine. But I hope to see something like a 12 turn of C7 where you kill off a lot Astram`s heroes and maybe an 8 turn of C8 where you fight the reinforcement generals. Although, considering the group of units you chose to use (added to the fact you aren`t even using MU), might be hard to stay on those maps for a long time. Kudos ahead of time if you manage it, it would definitely be harder than LTC or efficient strategies.
