    The Well

Ohman, scum!nori's lurking tactics seem to work again here, lol. GG gaiz. Inb4.he'sahiddenjesterorsomethingofthatnature.
  2. ** Btw, I'm apparently one of the Anon's online/lurking in the thread (just noticed the * near my name, lol), and I should be 'round 'til the end. And since I forgot to do this earlier: ##Vote: Paperblade 'Cause IDK anymore about this game, but willing to run with whatever gut vibes I've left.
  3. Ohshit, cut by a wild Baldrick! @Baldrick: Imo, once the Makaze lynch failed and NL happened, I think they chose to keep him around because they knew we'd get hung up on him, especially with the way he was saying and reacting to the rest of us. Secondly, there was then no point in helping him get lynched, which once again resulted in an NL, which once again tied our hands until he finally died to the lynch. But by then, boom, two freebie kills, and little to no progression was made as a result of associative reads and such, because of the way things played out. That, and I feel that there was a greater chance of people just not being here, and banking on the chance for a NL to happen, or forcing the majority of townies left to be the ones to hammer Makaze himself. No need to get their hands dirty in shipping off someone to the lynch noose, and the fact that poor activity levels were seen D1 means that we're staring at half of the players overall not really saying much. (So many variables floating around, and nothing is really getting figured out because no one was saying anything for the longest time. You can't expect to scum hunt when there's nothing to see/consider/figure out, which is what makes lurking/inactive scum (+ inactive townies to boot) almost impossible to pull out unless we just end up YOLO vigging/lynching or something.
  4. > Blitz didn't pop out anything as of his blurbs about asking about Makaze cases n' whatnot. So aside from already shit-tastic overall gameplay activity levels, his popping in and then not doing much else kinda makes his slot seem bad to me. > Idk if town!nori would LEGITIMATELY forget about the game for as long as he seems to have been inactive. Would be more inclined to figuring scum!nori at this point, (based on the vibes), but the whole vig shot thing makes me IDK as a whole on how to read him at this point. > Ghoulin hasn't done shit the entire game, literally. Would policy lynch for that alone 10/10. > PB seems sketchy about his prior post, and hasn't said/done anything even as more claims have been said/done. I also don't recall him having any sort of presence the entire game, which is bothering me quite a bit, honestly. Feeling he's more likely to flip scum!blade than town. > LOL. The amount of Vanilla claims + flips that we've had. Guess we gotta start sending them one-by-one to the chopping block to weed out the scummies there if we don't end up with a Universal loss at the end of this phase. Would say priority (by tone/vibes/gut reads) at this point: PB > Shinori = Blitz >>> Ghoulin (policy-lyncherino)
  5. Relooking back on what posts were made so far this day phase: Why wait on massclaims before divulging thoughts? Seems odd to wait on information (especially with the lacking activity levels in the timing in which you originally posted this up). Don't see why vanilla of all roles would be necessarily demotivated. If you're describing Makaze having been demotivated despite being under fire, then all he can really blame is the way he chose to execute his gameplay throughout the game, imo. Re-read ISOs. I've stated mine repeatedly, and don't care to copy/link things currently. Well then. What prompted this? ^ Inclined to agree, but we already know this by now (but I'll slightly adjust that statement to "Neither town nor scum truly deserves to win this game", imo.)
  6. Goddamnit, people need to not be sick around me IRL. :/ Secondly, I'm actually opting to NL because, at this point, (as I've stated before) this game has tired me out for reasons that shouldn't be present in the players of this game, imo. Kinda hard to get motivated when the vast majority of the players need to be kicked, shoved, and otherwise constantly prodded/subbed out to even care enough to post; there have been others who haven't honestly done jack shit all since the get-go, so... yeah. Idk. It sucks, 'cause I feel like I'm half-insulting Elie by stating the fact that I'm willing to contribute to a universal loss by encouraging a NL to result in one, but at the same time I don't feel like either side really deserves to win. I'm willing to bet the rest of the scum team are amongst the almost non-existent lurkers (IE. Ghoulin/Shinori/others like them), but the fact that not even town cares much at all at this point about this game (And with lack of information/will-power to actually participate in this game) severely bothers me. I know I already probably worsened the attitude towards Elie/this game by letting my own posting/activity levels go to hell by the latest point in this phase, but between being tired/stressed IRL and otherwise being unable to feel ANYTHING from this game anymore makes it borderline impossible to put forth anything when very little to nothing new is rarely ever said/done as of late. :/ [spoiler=Minor yet Relevant Rant]IMO, If this game is any indicator of people's lack of will/interest in participating as a whole in Mafia games, then both the players AND the mods need to consider hosting/how the game(s) is run, imo. Having games wear on like this and ultimately becoming what I'd consider "Shit-tier game" in terms of player activity/interactions/progression is really not a fun thing to deal with/play in, especially when this game seemed to do this since D1. I don't mean to isolate/harp on just newbie players or whatnot, but after Ghoulin + whoever my mentee was in Training (don't mean any offense by this notion- memory sucks atm and I can't remember off the top of my head since he never once spoke to me at all) and others need to actually TRY to participate in games if they take the time to SIGN UP for them (This applies to ALL players- both new and experienced players. Quite a few of the people I've played with in the past have, on multiple occassions, flaked out hardcore in games for little to no reason. You all know who you are.). I know I was new at this game at one point (and certainly not to the point of being a 'veteran'/'good Mafia player' either), but the blatant lack of effort/interest in even TRYING truly bothers me (call it a pet peeve if you will), especially if/when people are trying to help you by asking questions, for thoughts, etc. in-game. Eury out--- *CUUUUUUUUUUUUT by the Shinori. Of course. >____>
  7. And I clearly have the best memory when I'm typing while tired. *D2 Edit for previous post. Not D1.
  8. I basically was a vanilla until a town-sided PR died. And since Shinori shot Rapier on D1, I acquired his role as a result.
  9. *proceeds to cry inside* I diverged from my original target to keep an eye on Eclipse, and the night she died I was watching someone else. ;A; I'm terrible at this game sometimes. Q_Q'' > I'm the town back-up. I inherited the Even Night watch shinanegans and, N2, watched over Eclipse (but no one visited her then). But then opted to pick Shinori for the next night phase. If only I'd stuck to my original gut target.... :/ And while I realize that my Makaze read flipped town, I feel that the NL's that happened/the lack of associate reads/flips that happened = probably the largest hinderance to townie effort this game (along-side of kinda shitty activity levels by the vast majority of this player base). :/ Blaaaaaargh, this game makes me cry inside. T_T;; Also, at this point, I'm willing to bank on Scum!nori at this point, based on gut read + vibes from his slot. Ghoulin has the capacity to be the former's scum buddy, if he's opting to just mimic his poor activity levels and/or otherwise just isn't offering to try at all either.
  10. Waste of police's time, and they shouldn't have even entertained/fulfilled the request to begin with. Wouldn't be surprised if she had someone and/or some sort of connection/means in order for this to happen. Also speaks ill of the mother herself and her capacity to raise a child correctly, imo. You shouldn't need the POLICE to raise a child to be respectful and/or otherwise require a fake arrest to set a child straight- especially not at this kid's current age. Kinda makes me question her line of thinking as well, as it seems she'd rather shelve the responsibility of disciplining her own child (for a non-illegal behavior) onto someone else rather than do it herself, so there's another -1000 points for her in that regard. I also feel like this is only encouraging a lot of the mothers (and parents in general) nowdays, who are scared to do simple, yet effective means of disciplining kids at a young age (IE. spankings). "Oh, I can't lay a hand on my own child!" so I've heard so many mothers say as of late, too scared to simply turn a child on their lap and give them a good swat or two to tell them what is good and bad to do (AKA. Set boundaries, teaching them proper respect when interacting with others, respect for authority, etc.), which in turn allows the little demons to run rampant in the grocery stores and elsewhere with little to no restraint. This leading up to said kids being obnoxious/otherwise out of hand growing up (unless there's a blessed exception of a good child coming out of terrible parenting somehow that occurs once in a blue moon), which makes it a royal pain in the ass for any/all fellow students AND authority figures of any kind to have to deal with. Because, in the end, all she's really teaching him is, "I'll resort to calling in someone else to give you a scare, but I'm not going to bother putting myself in that seat of responsibility, because it's not my place to teach you how to respect and otherwise interact positively with other people. Oh, and I'll abuse a public service that should otherwise be saved for real emergencies, for the sake of the scare factor, too. ;)" Sure, the embarrassment factor is there (if you can even call it that, in a way? I'm not even seeing it massively as an embarrassing situation personally- I think anyone in their right mind would be concerned/scared/etc. if the cops suddenly arrested you?), and there are plenty of other ways to execute the same effect/intent this situation had without needing to stoop this low for it. EDIT: The one thing I'd be embarrassed most over (in the kid's position): Having a mom that'd do something this naive/foolish, and then having to deal with any other ill-conceived plans later on down the road from her. That in itself would make me want to GTFO out of the house/her life ASAP, quite frankly (unless this was a highly unusual thing/train of thought coming from the mother), and as someone that was brought up respecting elders and their values, that's saying quite a bit from my PoV.
  11. Second. No Lynch. Are you guys serious? ##Vote: Makaze This should've happened long ago, imo (Even if he somehow flips town [which I doubt at this point], associative reads would've been helpful, along with avoiding the whole NL's shit that's happened repeatedly this game). Will be busy for the rest of this evening (as I'm tired from work), but will be around tomorrow for a bit.
  12. The bolded is exactly the reason why you're bothering me currently. You just drop a vote, without saying much of anything (You don't explain your thoughts/cases on people as to WHY you feel they're scummy, so it makes your actions seem baseless and basically nonsensical. Secondly, I don't feel as a town player would insist/encourage themselves to be voted in the manner that you stated, and the fact that you're not bothering to even look/read into any other players (except Eclipse, and even your read/feel on her seems mostly like a gut read at best) makes you feel/read extremely lazy and shows an incredible lack of effort/will to scum hunt in the game. Both of which are generally not very townie-player gameplay. Tl;dr: Actually read some of the other player posts in this game thread, please, and try to pull out thoughts/cases that are based on their content that they've presented thus far. I know you're new to the game, but the unwillingness to even show an ounce of true effort to learn/play the game itself is making your player slot rather empty currently (and if you're town, then you're basically hindering town by not helping us find scum players).
  13. I'm about to head to bed (+ work tomorrow), so won't be able to post for a bit 'til tomorrow afternoon/evening or so. @Eclipse: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Vote #1 he cast: (outside of RVS shizz) Lord Gaius Reason: In reaction to LG's first post (felt like padding to him [Poly]) - Seems weak, but willing to give it leeway given ED1 at the time of it being posted. Vote #2: FFM Reason: Consolidation/avoiding NL The latter vote actually feels/seems really... easy, coming from him? Like, there was little to no thought, aside from "I won't be around, will drop a vote to consolidate on him", and it's likewise a bit perturbing that he had no prior casing on FFM at all (from what I could tell) and gave no interest in reading/analyzing him; and yet was okay with FFM being lynched. So all in all, his voting pattern's been less than stellar, and the fact that he showed little casing/thought in wanting to lynch someone and vote sat on FFM by the end, isn't feeling too great to me personally. And while I obviously support a Makaze lynch for this day phase, the way in which Poly insta-voted without posting other thoughts to anything (including flips, associative reads, or asking anything from the rest of us players as to thoughts of the prior day/night phases, etc.) gives his post a very nonchalant/easy vote once again and does little to prompt any sort of conversation (As though he expected us all to just hammer Makaze and be done with the day phase). I understand that short day phases happen/can do that, but at the same time there's little effort that he's putting forth, and I'm personally finding that a bit worrisome. :/ I want him to actually sit down and post his thoughts, rather than just vote dumping for "consolidation" or otherwise not really saying much else, because I find that scum can and will do so more often than town would (town has no reason to keep quiet in terms of how they perceive others and whilest they scum hunt; the lack of effort is rubbing off moreso as scum laziness than town laziness imo). Plus, if Makaze does flip scum and Poly's his buddy, then it's an easy wagon to bus, and if he (Poly) just goes off to start rolling it, then there's the chance that he's doing it moreso for towncred than anything- as well as to render this day phase shortened (which, again, would be in scum-sided favor). Anyways, I'm off to sleeeeeeeeeep now. Dark souls 2 is threatening to devour mah humanity. Q_Q''
  14. ...I don't know if I want to facepalm or headdesk more. >_>;; TL;DR on Poly (since I don't think you read between the lines with my description/take on Poly- if I'm mistaken, then I stand corrected): He's messed up a few of his plays (namely D2 lynch), and has otherwise not provided much at all in terms of quality contribution gameplay/posting content-wise as a whole, I feel. Therefore, I am bothered by his player slot, and his lack of presence in the thread as a whole is pinging me in a negative fashion. Whether his activity (or lackthereof) directly correlates to him being scummy, it's honestly hard for me to fully pin down (gauging by his usual sporadic gameplay), but there is definite opinions currently that is making me eye his slot with dissatisfaction and in a non-townie light.
  15. My irritation/defensiveness in terms of my responses come from the fact that multiple people have repeatedly placed votes/cases on me for literally NO reason. In another game specifically, I was once again MISLYNCHED for NO REASON. The point stands that, after a while, shit like that gets irritating, whether it's constantly being misrepped, people actually fabricating points against me, or otherwise people see the flimsiest of cases on me as being completely legitimate reasons (while trying to convince others of the same thing) when they're far from me. I suppose you could say it's also mildly annoying when, throughout this game, people have overall shown very little to almost NO effort in terms of quality of posting. ED1 was literally retarded in terms of people not wanting to post. The fact of what happened in the end of D2 was likewise terrible. And the fact that the usual "Quality" town players like yourself and others are basically shit-posting by only doing the bare minimal in terms of posting (IE. Just sheeping reads/posts/etc. and not really putting forth much of your OWN actual content) makes reading the posts/people in this game incredibly dull and otherwise very lackluster of a game, honestly. Town-side clearly lacks much effort/will to even participate fully in this game, and at this point, despite me attempting to continue pushing more life into this game, this game is one of the slowest games and crappiest in terms of quality of gameplay/interactions/posting. I also find it very insulting to the Mods/creators of this game (and everyone else co-hosting) when people do this in games, not only to the hosts but also to the player base. The only ones who are actually exempt from this notion are the ones legitimately busy with IRL things, but even so (like Eclipse, whom I know to usually be busy with many things) they manage SOME content (and Mancer, I believe, subbed out due to being busy IRL which in itself is understandable). The rest of the players though- the ones who are not only posting sparingly, but posting no REAL CONTENT/effort, seriously peeves me at times. So you could say my mildly irritated responses is probably a mixture of the above. Wrt Poly: IDEK. He posted like, once, so far this day phase? He also fucked up when it came to not securing a lynch (he should've just voted to hammer instead of asking around "SHOULD I HAMMER?" when it was clear you were top lynch priority by the end of the day phase). He waffled a crapton for whatever larger posts he put out during later D2, none of which I was overly impressed with, and all in all, he's not produced anything truly meaningful in his posts/cases. He's one of the good handful of people who fall under the "lack of meaningful content/posting/contribution to this game" category that have led to him being pretty unmemorable to me, so there's that as well.
  16. Oops, missed a quote/reply: Scum motivation: Claiming a role that would be "clearing" a fellow scum buddy of course. Or otherwise claiming a role that (given what role we lost on Rapier), town would show little interest in willing to risk/lose. For example: If scum knows that there is no actual Tracker on town side, then it's easy for them to safely claim it (and it's not uncommon for mods to hand out things like that either- fake claims), especially after we lost an investigative role last day phase. One of many plausible events that could've transpired thus far.
  17. So, if I'm understanding your "case on me correctly". > "Something isn't right about your arguments" (and yet you fail to bring up specific posts/examples- this in itself seems odd to me in terms of your gameplay). > "Contrived and less intelligent than her at her best." = Thank you for implying that I sound non-intelligent with my notions/cases. However, do avoid attacking the person and instead focus on the words/content instead. > "She dropped her PB scum read." ...Excuse me? I explicitly put IN MY LAST POST that LG/PB cases/notions/priority STILL REMAINED (Yes, even with LG's claim. Like Makaze's Vanilla claim, I really don't see much weight with his claim, especially with the fact that the information does/says absolutely nothing to me). I do not see how this is true at all- please avoid spewing such lies in terms of what I have and haven't said/presented. All of these (in lieu of the last one being completely inaccurate) are completely garbage points/reasons to even pull up a scum read on me, Makaze. It's like you're not even trying to play this game at all, and the lack of effort (and having to read/respond to such barking nonsense) is very unlike you, which is why you're still my top scum read at this point in time. Please. You vote me (just as Makaze does soon after) for the flimsiest of cases/notions, it's incredible. Likewise unlike a lot of town!blade gameplays I've seen/have experienced myself. Another reason why you're still on my scumdar (but below Makaze in priority). BTW: The fact that Makaze was never hammered in D2, as well, makes him seem even worse IMO. I doubt scum would hesitate to remove 2 townies in one day phase (due to Shinori offing Rapier), and had Makaze flipped town even due to a hammer, there's not a whole lot of suspicion that would've been garnered in the hammering itself (as there NEEDED to be a hammer to secure a day lynch, but as we all saw, that didn't happen). So from my PoV, Makaze is almost indefinitely scum, and LG's notion of him not acting in N1 says absolutely nothing to prove anything in his (Makaze's) defense/favor.
  18. > Bitching at everyone: If this implies being extremely nitpicky as a result of the second trait below (for not completing a job or something to your standard), then it's just part of the package of being a perfectionist. Otherwise, take a chill pill, take a deep breath, and try to smile once in a while? No sense in starting off a day with a bitter/cranky attitude 'cause everyone else is likely to respond in kind in the long run. > Perfectionist: Is there something wrong with being one? (It's not a terrible trait to have, unless you dislike being so critical on yourself/situations as a result.) > Taking control: Leadership skill/habit? Being a leader can come naturally, and definitely isn't always a bad thing, especially in business-esque jobs and environments. Unless you're implying you go overboard into full blown manipulation of people/situations without warrant, in which case that may be of slight concern/something to work on. > Anger Issues: Do you happen to be suppressing any sort of issue(s), emotional/mental/physical, or otherwise not keeping yourself and how you act in check? Are there things that specifically set you off? > Mute: So you're a bit quiet. Does this imply that you're suddenly shy, or that you just don't care to speak to people as often as you used to? (Not talking doesn't necessarily mean that you're SHY, imo.) > People Ignoring you/Making fun of you: The former can occur as a result of you being quiet moreso than not. If you don't talk, of course people aren't going to realize that you're there (especially compared to someone else who may be a loudmouth in comparison). The latter can/will occur if people see something wrong with you being quiet and/or however else you end up acting- not really something you should worry about, honestly. Chances are, if someone's making fun of you with little to no merit/legitimate reasons, then they're probably an asshole taking an opportunity to put down someone who won't speak up against it much (easy target, easy laugh for them). Just ignore them and move on your way. > Only people you can trust is family and boyfriend: Did something happen to you to affect your ability to hold a decent amount of trust/respect for anyone else that isn't family and/or a lover? Being skeptical of people at times is okay (especially if they act/conduct themselves in a manner that is questionable or suspicious in any regard), but you can't expect to enjoy life and establish healthy relationships with others (outside of family/lovers) if you keep a fortress around you at all times. As Chiki said above, you kinda need to give us more information if you're wanting any sort of help/advice on the situation.

NO STAHP. D8 I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE. MUST WAGON OTHER WAGONS FUUUUUUUUuuuuuuu-----
  20. You guys. Let a No Lynch go through. In Day 2 phase end. What the literal hell guys. >_> Makaze's Vanilla claim holds no bearing/effect on my prior reads/notion against him, and I still want him lynched (especially since people flaked/failed hardcore to even secure a D2 lynch). I also don't care for the "It wouldn't be in my interest/choice to kill Shin for X/Y/Z reasons", as NK's won't necessarily read black/white in terms of intentions (and if another scum buddy was being suspected by Shin instead, then why not [shin's death doesn't have to be explicitly in favor of/due to Makaze himself.]? Shin was, as a whole, being read as townie by most of the player base, so no matter who specifically killed him- his death is a solid one for scum to execute). LG needlessly outing a claim/PR shouldn't have been done, especially with little to no reason to do so. There could be multiple reasons as to why he didn't visit someone on N1, and it certainly didn't warrant feeding that information for free to the scum team. :/ On that same note (as LG), Strawman likewise unnecessarily prompted LG for sensitive/role-based information, which sounds pretty damn bad to me. There was no reason to fish as hard as you did there (when he'd already implied that his knowledge was ROLE BASED), and all this did was pan out more freebie info for scum. Today's priority (as far as I stand currently) Makaze >>>> Strawman (for blatantly role fishing when it was highly unnecessary, and I'll be re-reading him later to verify whether he as a whole stays in my scumdar read/priority) > LG/PB (from prior reads/cases already stated in the past day phase) ##Vote: Makaze

  22. Hrrrm. 1. Just because you have the means to save someone does NOT imply/mean that you MUST do so. And just because people have the means doesn't guarantee the knowledge/will to further do so. Being disinterested/disconnected from a situation, despite having the means to affect it, doesn't make someone evil for not stopping it. (Also, if the people are dying for a reason/cause that they brought onto themselves, then they also deserve it, imo. If you're waving a gun around and fooling around with something knowing that it's fully loaded, accidentally shooting your friend in the face and killing him isn't something GOD should be responsible for, nor should he have any real reason to step in to save the kid. Life lessons OP.) 2. People dying is inevitable. Yes, we can do things to prevent certain causes and/or otherwise lengthen people's ability to live through things (Iike diseases and such), but in the end, people die. Shit happens, and you can't expect a God, more or less any fellow mortal, to bother achieving otherwise. Better to let reality set in that people are mortal and thus will come to an end at some point, rather than leaving them blindly living their lives like nothing bad/fatal can ever happen to them, imo. Secondly, you spoke of disasters like earthquakes, holocaust, etc. And, if I'm not mistaken, you said that the "horrors of what happened could've still occurred with far fewer deaths". But let's be real- if only 5-10 people died as a result of Hitler's actions, do you really think we'd think/see him as the person as we do today? The scale in which he conducted his actions (and how he did so) is what makes him the monster the vast majority of people see him as today, and that would've been sorely changed, I feel, had the numbers were limited to almost nothing. > Also, the way I see things, letting something bad happen doesn't mean that the person (who let it happen) is by nature bad/evil. It's like a parental figure warning a child off about doing something they know the kid shouldn't be doing, but in the end, they can have the option to let them do it anyways. And why is that? Does that make the parent evil/sadistic by nature, bent on making the child's life terrible and subjecting them to unnecessary terrors? No. Sometimes people learn best when they run into problems/conflicts on their own, and no amount of "You shouldn't do X or Y, 'cause Z will happen" advice will compare to first-hand experience (and therein the consequences of doing as such) garnered. Yeah, God could've easily have said, "You are absolutely forbidden to eat from this tree, and I will remove it from play so you cannot even touch it," but at that point, what is there to be gained/learned? You can't expect people to learn without having mistakes here or there, and the experiences gained can be priceless in terms of shaping the people into who they are today. Besides, if God was moreso like our parental/best friend figure as the bible made him out to be, then there is only so much that he himself is responsible for, and it is not up to him to baby every little step/decision we make. Insisting that he is evil because he didn't step in and ultimately try to prevent the downfall of humans into sin only serves to imply that humans lack the capability to own up to their own responsibilities and mistakes that come with every decision we choose to make, which in turn only serves to shelve the blame from Adam/Eve onto God alone. I actually object, in the sense that, B is theoretically better in the sense of "more money" being there, and "no poverty happening" having been stated (while poverty still exists/no extra rich billionaires in World A). But on the other hand, if poverty doesn't exist as a result of a massive amount of money being thrown in, what other sort of problems could possibly be occurring as a result of the actions? The massive currency being dumped in could have a backlash in terms of economical effects, and therein could cause world B many more problems as a result, which could counteract the fact that poverty would supposedly not exist. Therefore, there's no way of saying for sure that World B, in fact, would be better than world A indefinitely (and thus is applicable for debate imo).
  23. PS. Anyone who had voted Rapier earlier is now sitting on a "NO LYNCH" vote. That needs to be changed, and if a NL goes off at the end of D2, then there'll need to be serious explaining to do with the incoming day phase. >_>
  24. Wallpost Continuation: Starting from page 13 'til whatever it's up to now. PS. Tired atm, so not being fully bothered to link shit and whatnot as usual. Will try to keep comments (and the topics/posts they're responding to) as clear as possible though. > Page 13: - Shin's vote on me is actually understandable, given that I had not managed to get out my post come late D1 (that I had opted to follow up on), so not terrible here imo. - Quote's PB vote kinda seems iffy to me, as I don't recall her having issues with him in any part of D1 (and I'm not sure I follow her notion of "Unless he posts more content, I'm going to assume that he's playing by his scum meta", so there's that as well). - Makaze seems too overeager in his post following Via's to sheep the notions and vote against PB. Also, self-comparing things like content/quantity of posts seems poor to me, and I'm having issues figuring out what sort of "bussing" he's also implying in PB's actions with his vote on me. - However, I'm not sure where the whole PB wall post/how I wound up near the "scum" spectrum of PB's reads (and as far as I recall, his reason(s) behind reading me as scummy is pretty bad?). I also find his deliberate listing (as though to stay certain with his "scum # read/count" vs "town reads" (in accordance with FFM flipping/dying as scum) as somewhat forced, and his reads (in comparison to his late D1 posts) actually shift/change heavily, in the sense that: > His final vote he sat on in D1: Poly. Come D2, with what seems like little to no reason, Poly suddenly shifts to a town read. Why is this? > He actually fails to list LG in his first AND second (revised) list. Why is this? (Possible scum!blade slip of forgetting to consider his scum buddies?) Also, his notions about FFM's last reads post (in smearing several of us players in terms of reads) = so what? You state the obvious (how he read the rest of us), but I see little to no application upon your thoughts/reads as a result. Tl;dr: His "wallpost" is kinda a mess that really doesn't say/do much at all, imo. - Makaze backs down from PB vote/sheeping the case against him for little to no reason, aside from him suddenly "Sounding pretty town". Also, the admission to just openly sheep and not providing his own thoughts/cases bothers me quite a bit thus far. > Page 14: - While I agree that Via's vote on FFM was kinda poorly made (in terms of the posted content/'case', I can safely say that the vast majority of the votes on FFM were all lacking in their solidity of cases. Yes, FFM dropped enough scummish inclinations/vibes to warrant an accurate lynch on scum, but none of the people on the FFM wagon (as far as I can see/recall) can say that they were super confident in the lynch itself- it seemed more as a "Consolidation lynch, given that no one else was really seeming bad come the end of D1". So I feel the points against Via here can easily be applied to most others who were on said FFM wagon. - Makaze's comments/thoughts on FFM interactions with Rapier/LG is iffy to me. While I agree that Rapier blowing off FFM seems/felt bad, why is LG's interactions (purely around RVS voting) the only other association with FFM that sticks out (or is otherwise the "other closest interaction FFM may have had with anyone else in the player base)? Seems to harbor quite the gap in comparing interaction levels, imo. - Makaze's next post against Mancer seems mildly graspy with his case/notions, which I'm not caring for much. - @Paperblade: It's generally norm of scum members to attempt to get townies mislynched over themselves, vs. shipping off another scum member (unless they stand to theoretically get "cleared" as a result of hosting a 1v1 with another scum member). So I don't believe that simple line of logic is necessarily one worth fully supporting, as gambits can and have been executed in the past (which I myself have done as well, so I know it pretty well). - Via's antsy posting wrt Mancer kinda feels meh to me, but doesn't ring unusual coming from that player slot. - Makaze's almost instant vote swap onto Mancer, though, reads way too easy of a voting/wagon starting for my liking. Why do you seem overeager to mindlessly sheep votes/cases in this game, Makaze? > Page 15: - While I generally feel as though subbing out in times of stress/duress/pressure in-games, I don't believe I saw/read enough pressure on Mancer's wagon to result in him wanting to /out. So PB's notion of "wanting to vote the slot" as a result of the action, in itself (right after Mancer had responded earlier having been busy IRL), seems pretty poor to me. - @Necro: Actually take the time to explain your thoughts on why you think someone is town or not. You stating "I think X Y and Z are town" (and then dropping "I might be wrong") does absolutely nothing for the rest of us players, in the sense of understanding your PoV. Also, the PB vote is kinda meh at this point. - Eclipse's post initially read okay to me, but I'll not lie in stating that I didn't skim it partially. Still, nothing terrible stood out to me, and I'm okay with her Makaze notions/case/vote. - @Necro: What are you even doing with the whole spam formatting of voting Paperblade? PLAY THE GAME ALREADY. - Shin's vote/post reads reasonable to me. > Page 16: - PB scum read/case/logic on me = lolwut? - In regards to FFM associate reads (@Paperblade) People have been trying to post thoughts/notions on them since the start of D2. Idk what you're going off about people not doing so at this point/time. Secondly, read above for my own PoV/thoughts on the situation. - Makaze's larger post: Why does scum!FFM insta-clear VIa's slot? Can scum not vote for scum, especially when they're squirming? (Especially if they're banking on trying to "clear" a scum buddy since FFM lynch seemed inevitable). Other cases/notions against other suspected player slots seem way too easily cleared/changed to town-reads, imo, which is making his (Makaze's) slot seem even more iffy by this point. - Poly's posts really seemed unmemorable to me (nothing in them really stuck in my head), despite the rapid posting/quantity of posts. - LG's post: ~ Why so concerned in convincing one person (in this case, Via) to not vote for someone (in this case, Ghoulin)? There was little to no need to persuade someone against voting for someone specifically, unless there is need/concern to do so (IE. building wagon, lynch priorities/securing a lynch, etc.), and seems mildly unnecessary. ~ I'm pretty sure most people who were on Mancer prior to his subbing out = felt they had legitimate reads/reasons for voting him/finding him scummy anyways. I don't really see how (Aside from PB) people were "finding him scummy for subbing out", though I won't deny that there were a few crass comments that occurred that probably shouldn't have. > Page 17: - "I'm town man." = Lol. A comment that town and scum alike can/will easily say, and the latter actually have more interest in stating it out in the open than the former, imo. Also, "I was desperate for associated reads" therefore you seek to misrep an action/post from someone? You do not paint someone scummy just to make yourself seem helpful in finding associated reads in players, and it actually can do the exact opposite if people fail to realize the inaccuracy of your information. Pretty damn reckless and scummy gameplay here imo. - Clipsey wall post #2: Nothing terrible stuck out to me, despite not agreeing with some of the reads. - Shinori needs to stop being lazy. - Wall posts, yay! > Page 18: - Ghoulin's... dropping odd comments that make it seem like he's mildly playing off of Makaze's comment (plausible buddying aspect?). also, you (Ghoulin) need to open your mind/thoughts and post your views/thoughts on the rest of the player base, please. - "It may be a little weird, but you'll see if/when I flip". Not sure what it is fully about this comment (by Makaze), but it feels mildly hand-waving towards Ghoulin's comment. Feels off to me. - I honestly didn't even remember the Strawman fella being in this game. Very unmemorable, and I didn't see much from the posts on this page from him. AAAAAAAAAAND speeding things back up to where we are now (since nothing much really happened besides Shinori thwapping the crap out of Rapier n' reaction shizz.) Yes, this means I'm skipping over Eclipse's last wall post, but I can't be bothered to read it all thoroughly right before bed (no offense to her or anything, just tired lol). OVERALL THOUGHTS/READS: > Don't like Makaze's gameplay come D1 and D2, and I have multiple issues with many of his posts. Doesn't have good townie gameplay/tone to his posts, and would like to see him lynched this day phase (top priority for me). > PB's pretty questionable in his own gameplay/right, and follows closely behind Makaze in terms of "Would Lynch" priority, but I would like to see the former removed D2. > LG's dropping weird vibes that's pinging me mildly negative, but not as high as the other two. If one of the above flips town, I would shuffle him in as a high secondary choice/option for incoming day lynches. > Ghoulin needs to have more than just empty votes/posts. Being a newbie is one thing, but the lack of effort is making me want to ignore his posts/slot completely, and having that as a plausible town-sided player slot is mildly disruptive when ISO/post surfing. Tl;dr: Makaze > PB > LG > everyone else ##Vote: Makaze I may not wake up early enough tomorrow to post up anything else, so it'd be safe to assume that this may be my last post of the day phase.
  25. Blaarrrrrrrgh. Was hoping to get a few hours rest before I could get the post done, but I guess I don't have the time (if I"m keeping track of phase end time correctly). Also, lol @Shinori's action. I don't see scum!nori necessarily chumming up the waters like he did- seems too high of a risk factor associated with his action (in terms of Rapier flipping town and such). While I don't see it as a super pro-town move, I can see some associations to be had as a result of Rapier's flip (and I'm not sensing super scummy intent behind said shot). ((I also feel as though Makaze almost unnaturally was waffling on Shinori's move/"logic" earlier, and the vote swaps seem pretty bad all things considered. Too flimsy by going, "I don't see that as a town move" (highly implying that Shinori's action was scum-driven intent) and voting Shinori, quickly followed by backpedaling off of him (and back onto LG) due to PB's questioning. So in my eyes, that play alone kinda rubs off ill on me.)) RIP Rapier tho.
