Shinori Posted May 28 Share Posted May 28 I'm just not a fan of lynching an alignment cop claim on day 1. I could see a world where we don't have a cop and a jack of all trades is potentially the only way we have a definite way to check alignment with other types of information roles like tracker or watcher. I'm just saying I won't be a part of it, and considering everyone else basically unvoted quickly I don't think the majority of people WANT to still lynch there. Even if the rules state the mods are giving the mafia fake claims I still don't like the chances of lynching a potential alignment cop of which we may have no more. If this was ROLE COP I'd potentially be more open to it, if I weren't town reading Refa. SF GENERALLY gives mafia safe fake claims, this has always been a thing on SF compared to other games. As for weapons, they are still in my range of people I would potentially lynch, I'd definitely go there over refa, but I'm fine just sitting here on Rapier who's currently still at 4 votes. I then say that her points on shinori/bbm/snike/makaze are fakeable. Would filler have been a better word? Sure. Scum can post filler to fake content. I don't see the problem in the words I used. I also back off from this specific point on page 9, 3rd post specifically because I think this line of argument is not good and think its bad to scumread someone on null reads/filler stuff because most people will have padding filler in RVS. So even if Snike thinks I'm using sinister wording, I backed off from this literal point that I think wasn't good. Let me repeat, I backed off from the very thing he's accusing me of scum intent with. If my motives are so sinister why would I do this as scum? Snike's issue with my hypocrisy angle is that I compare a vote to a read, and that Weapons was her top scumread at that point in time; my perspective was it was weird for her not to vote you along with me if we were having the same problems with you, and it was not clear to me that weapons would make sense as a top scumread at that time. She had all 3 of us in her scumpile atp but there wasn't anything to tell who was worse than the other in that post. Snike then says me voting you for "background presence" (not my wording, because I said that you had "too many questions without conclusion." I don't actually care about the wording here but fsr snike cares more) is safe while boron calling you unmemorable and active is not safe.
