I'm just starting chapter 10 in FE5. The ballista have started shooting at me. Its almost enough to make me cry :(

Chapter 10 is the hardest chapter in the Fire Emblem series that I faced. I'm only in ch 14 of FE5 though. But it's only hard if you really want to save both villages, steal both S Drinks, and save your Bridge key for later.

Selphina loves ballistae.

Ch 13 was one of the easiest chapters I faced in FE5. Until I realized that Selfina could talk to Glade to get a Brave Bow and tried redoing it. When redoing it, I wasted two more slots on Tina and the underlevelled Marietta. Then it became one of the hardest chapters of FE5 (still easier than ch10).

Wait until you get to Ch14, HAR HAR.There are five ballistae placed perfectly so you get shot all of the turns, defending the city agains Armours with Hammers, and a General that rushes at you and has a Master Lance and a Horseslayer.

And there's a stronger Ballistae that's just there to protect the boss.

Charge/Duel FTW. This skill makes Selphina as the best bow user in FE5, ever. [/sarcasm]

You used an S drink on her just to field a 5 movement unit that can't counter and gets one-rounded by everything? Whose profession is to use prf weapons that are both pretty much useless on that map? Why?

Which one is chapter 10? Chapter 22 has many ballistas and a enemy with 10 leadership stars; that level is by far the worst in the game.

Ch10 is the one that Fred and Olwen appear to attack your units.

It's not hard, it's medium.

Now I remember, thanks.

Chapter 10 isn't hard chapter 22 is hard and very annoying.

I don't recall that's chapter as hard.....

But then again, the only chapters I remembered for making me pull my hair out were Chapter 18 and Chapter 22. TT__TT

I don't think it was that hard either.

Which chapter is 18? I agree chapter 22 is the hardest chapter in series.

It's worse than that. How much does hit/avoid go up for each leadership star?

Cyas

has 10 0f them.

50%, being 5% for each star? I don't know.

That's why it's so hard a 50% increase in accuracy of like 10 ballistas.

Chapter 18 = Xavier. TT__TT

AND I CURSED YOU, CYAS! It's so unfair that he loses his godly 10 leadership stars when he finally joins you permanently. ;-;

I just decided not to recruit Xavier and it was pretty easy.

If you decide to recruit Xavier it would be nearly impossible.

I recruited Xavier in all my playthroughs but the first one. I need to pull my hair for it though. >.>

So you wait till you have enough hair to pull out and have some left?

But seriosly, I've played the game once and didn't recruit Xavier and I'm not planning on playing the game again any time soon.
